The attack in Highland Park was not the only shooting over a violent holiday weekend.

 

The attack at the Highland Park Fourth of July parade was the largest and highest-profile shooting, but far from the only one, over the holiday weekend.

It was one of two mass shootings in the Chicago region alone on Monday. Less than 12 hours earlier, five people were injured in a shooting on Chicago’s South Side.

The Highland Park shooting stood out in its size (at least three dozen injured), its deadliness (at least six killed) and its location, a wealthy suburb that does not often experience such violence. But it was part of a pattern: the brutal ubiquity of gun violence in a nation with more firearms than people.

As of early Monday morning, at least 57 people had been shot in Chicago over the Fourth of July weekend, nine of them fatally, according to NBC Chicago. That did not include the toll from the Highland Park shooting outside the city.

19,000 Ballots Found — Could Overturn Another Election

New evidence of election irregularities in the Nov. 2020 general election has been exposed and identified as an anomaly in Maricopa County, Arizona ‑because of the length of time after the election, the absentee ballots were added to the overall numbers.

 

It is important to remember that Joe Biden ‘won’ the state with 10,457 more votes than Donald J. Trump, and Fox News called the state for Biden- just one hour after the polls closed, setting off a chain of events that would catapult Biden into the White House and leave Americans completely disenfranchised, with no remedy to the obvious concerns of fraud.

 

And now we find out that ballots were going to come in for the next seven days in that state that were over and above the number they claimed Biden won.

Queen Elizabeth II will make two appearances on the Buckingham Palace balcony on Thursday, kicking off four days of public events to mark her historic Platinum Jubilee.

 

The extent of the 96-year-old monarch’s involvement in the celebrations for her record-breaking 70 years on the throne has been a source of speculation for months.

 

She has had to cut back drastically her public appearances since last year because of difficulties standing and walking — and a bout of Covid.

 

But royal officials confirmed that she would take the salute of mounted troops from the balcony after a military parade called Trooping the Colour.

 

The centuries-old ceremony to officially mark the sovereign’s birthday has previously seen the queen take the salute on horseback herself.

 

Her 73-year-old son and heir Prince Charles will step in this year, supported by his sister Princess Anne, 71, and his eldest son, Prince William, 39.

Director Cary Fukunaga accused of ‘grooming’ on sets: ‘He needs to be stopped’

 

Anonymous sources from the production of the upcoming AppleTV+ miniseries “Masters of the Air” told Rolling Stone that the director has engaged in “absolute, clear-cut abuse of power” when interacting with young female actors and crew members.

 

His goal, they alleged, is to engage in romantic relationships. One unidentified woman who reportedly dated him after they met on set said a “heavy weight” was “lifted” after they parted ways, according to Rolling Stone. “When I thought about him, I just wanted to vomit,” she said.

 

The 44-year-old “True Detective” director’s attorney, Michael Plonsker, denied the claims to Rolling Stone, saying in a statement: “There is nothing salacious about pursuing friendships or consensual romantic relationships with women.”

 

He also noted that “no one ever — not once — voiced such sentiments” of the claims to Fukunaga.

 

“He creates a work environment that is creative, collaborative and welcoming to all,” Plonsker added in the statement.

 

The Post has reached out for comment from Fukunaga’s representatives, as well as Apple TV+.

 

The accusations come after 23-year-old actress and skateboarder Rachelle Vinberg recently alleged on Instagram that Fukunaga groomed her when he approached her at a skate park and asked her to audition for a Samsung commercial he was directing. She was 18 at the time, according to Rolling Stone.

 

Plonsker released a statement, saying Fukunaga “had a very brief and consensual romantic relationship with [Vinberg] that has ended” and suggested the skateboarder “clearly was not happy” with him since the split.

 

“I spent years being scared of him,” Vinberg captioned a selfie with Vinberg on Instagram. “Man’s a groomer and has been doing this s–t for years. Beware, women.”

We lost so much.

 

We will never know how bad it is to have lost so many fathers, uncles, grandfathers, brothers, friends, heroes, mentors, and leaders. I can tell you though, seeing how my siblings grew up with my father around (we lost him when I was young) is so much better than not having him. There are certain certain wisdoms, morals, love, and responsibilities that a father passes on to his children. Every war out there we lost a bit of our identity as a people. Fathers carried legacies. Fathers carried history. Fathers carried the future. Fathers paved ways. But when they were removed, we lost it all.

 

I hope this day and age serves as a lesson to most and a reminder to some on why we have the laws we have. Why we have the religious beliefs we have. Why we place our faith in God. Why we exist. Why we fight to the death to protect those we love. Why we are who we are, and what caused us to be. Frens, if your father, grandfather, uncles are still alive, please, give them a hug and tell them you love them. They've filled a huge hole in our hearts, minds, and souls that we don't realize exists.

Seventy years ago this coming Monday, Arthur M. Thurston was officially named legal attaché of the U.S. Embassy in wartime London. Three months earlier, on November 16, 1942, he had, at the invitation of U.S. Ambassador John Winant, opened the office for liaison purposes in the 1 Grosvenor Square embassy. Now, as “legat,” Thurston was already highly connected with his colleagues in MI-5 and MI-6.

It was a fearful time to be in London (see sidebar below), but an enormously productive time as well. British intelligence had developed Ultra—which intercepted and later decoded radio and cable messages sent by the Nazis to their clandestine networks worldwide. Thurston was given access to the decrypted messages in January 1943 and, under the codename Ostrich, forwarded intelligence to FBI Headquarters that related to possible German espionage in the United States. Ultimately, Ostrich would crucially assist our mandated intelligence operations in South America, control movement of double agents, and penetrate German intelligence. Postwar, there would be crucial legat assistance and liaison in the Klaus Fuchs exposé. Even by 1951, when the office was staffed with a single agent and two clerks, Legat John Cimperman was putting in 11-plus hour days and had 235 open cases that were pending resolution. Gamely, he described that time as “an unusually light period.”

Life During Wartime

World War II was a difficult and dangerous time for the FBI’s new overseas office in London. In the words of then-Legal Attaché Thurston: “During these three periods—air raids, flying bombs, and V2 rockets—the Bureau’s office in the American Embassy continued to function. The flying bombs that flew over the Embassy in the daytime were viewed from the office windows. At night, the German raiders were observed from hotel windows or from the street and to the tune of anti-aircraft and rocket guns situated in all the parks and atop strategic buildings. The nearest approach to disaster was during the V2 rocket period, when a rocket fell at Marble Arch. In addition to killing several people, the residence quarters of Bureau representatives was made a mass of flying glass and shattered doors, but no casualties apart from a commode which the blast ricocheted off the wall and struck one of the representatives in bed—but even this only resulted in a broken commode handle.”

And so began the friendships and cooperative relationships between the FBI and British law enforcement and intelligence services that flourish to this day.

Consider the recent extradition of five alleged terrorists from Mildenhall Royal Air Force Base in the U.K. on October 5, 2012. Following U.S. charges, all had been arrested by our British colleagues—one in 1998, one in 1999, and three in 2004. All fought extradition in the U.K. and, when that failed, all appealed to the European Court of Human Rights on the grounds that, among other things, U.S. sentences were too long. Hungary doubles down on Zelensky remarks

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto on Monday backed the speaker of the parliament Laszlo Kover, saying he was correct to claim Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had a “mental problem” for threatening countries trying to help him. Kover’s comments, voiced in a TV interview over the weekend, prompted a fury of further condemnation from Kiev.

 

“While tens of thousands of people have worked in Hungary in recent months to help war-torn Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, Ukrainian politicians are constantly talking about Hungary in an unacceptable tone, provoking us, telling lies and trying to blacken us,” Szijjarto said in a Facebook post.

 

“Based on all of this, Laszlo Kover is absolutely right, even if the Ukrainians are upset,” he added.

 

Kover presides over the Hungarian National Assembly and is a founding member of the ruling Fidesz party. In an interview with the Hungarian news channel HirTV on Saturday, he complained that Zelensky was being needlessly rude and hostile to countries he was asking for help – and not just Hungary, but Germany as well.

 

“I can’t recall when a leader of a country in need of help would dare to speak out against anyone in a fashion like President Zelensky did,” said Kover. “One should threaten enemies, not those you want to make your friends. There is some kind of personal mental problem, and I don’t know what can be done about it.”

 

Officials in Kiev took offense at his remarks. Zelensky’s deputy chief of staff, Andrey Sibiga, responded on Facebook by slamming the “unacceptable, vicious remarks by ‘sub-par politicians’ like the non-respected head of Hungary’s legislature.”

 

Meanwhile, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko insinuated that Kover himself had a mental health diagnosis, and accused Hungary of being on the side of “evil” in history on more than one occasion.

 

Kiev has repeatedly lashed out at Berlin and Budapest since February, accusing the Germans of not sending enough weapons to Ukraine and the Hungarians of blocking certain EU economic sanctions against Russia. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has criticized the embargo, likening it to an economic nuclear bomb, and pointing out that his country is heavily dependent on imports of Russian oil and gas.

In the course of a few weeks in June, the Supreme Court has restored democracy, expanded gun rights and expanded religious liberty in ways few thought possible.

 

In 279 B.C., at the Battle of Asculum, King Pyrrhus of Epirus beat the Roman Republican armies. Pyrrhus poured his forces into the battle against the Roman might, overwhelmed them, and crushed them. Pyrrhus lost most of his troops, many of his top generals and several friends, but he won the day. Unfortunately for Pyrrhus, Rome had reserve forces. Pyrrhus had none.

 

“If I achieve such a victory again, I shall return to Epirus without any soldier,” Pyrrhus reportedly said. Because of the devastating casualty toll, Pyrrhus had to withdraw against the Romans despite his victory. All of his territorial gains would be taken by the Romans. To this day, we remember Pyrrhus’s defeat through victory as a pyrrhic victory.

 

The Supreme Court, on the last day of Pride Month, gave President Joe Biden just such a victory. In Biden v. Texas, the President went all the way to the Supreme Court seeking the power to end the “Return to Mexico” policy of the Trump administration. That policy required all migrants seeking to cross into the United States to return to Mexico to await processing.

 

Even after the Supreme Court ended Roe v. Wade a week ago, immigration remains a more important issue to voters. The court handed Biden his pyrrhic victory. Biden can end Trump’s policy and allow these migrants to stay in the United States. The victory comes as a huge summer wave of migrants is headed north to our southern border. Now Biden has an immigration crisis on his hands, and Republicans can legitimately say the president fought all the way to the Supreme Court to make the crisis happen and have taxpayers pay for it.

 

The 2021-2022 term of the Supreme Court really made this the best Pride Month ever. In the course of a few weeks in June, the Supreme Court has restored democracy, expanded gun rights and expanded religious liberty in ways few thought possible.

 

For democracy, the court returned the abortion fight to the states. It never should have been in the Supreme Court.Unlike gun rights, which can be found in the Constitution, the document is silent on abortion. That means it should have been a state issue. But in 1973, seven life-tenured justices chose to preempt democratic conversations and debate and read abortion into the Constitution. Over 49 years, the pro-life movement, playing by the rules of American politics, worked within democratic institutions to reshape the Supreme Court and ultimately won. Though the press will never credit it as such, the American pro-life movement is one of the greatest demonstrations of democracy in history.

 

Additionally, for democracy, the Supreme Court ruled the Environmental Protection Agency cannot make regulations on climate change without Congress giving it that power. For the past hundred years, Congress has passed the buck to federal agencies to legislate so Congress could avoid having to make difficult decisions. The Supreme Court ruled Congress cannot pass the buck to unelected bureaucrats without passing clear laws. Progressives hate the ruling, but it will force Congress to actually legislate instead of abdicate responsibility.

 

On guns, the court reaffirmed the second amendment right to keep and bear arms and denied states the subjective power to deny concealed carry permits. Only six states were affected. Those states allowed judges or others to subjectively decide if someone could get a carry permit. California’s law, for example, allows stated political beliefs to be taken into account. All the other states have objective requirements to get a carry permit, some including gun safety classes. That will now be the law in all 50 states.

 

Lastly, the court finally got rid of Lemon v. Kurtzman and the so-called Lemon Test, which essentially required government to default into forced secularism. The court ruled that if states cover the costs of private education, the state cannot discriminate against religious schools. The court also ruled public employees can express their religion publicly. Both protect religious liberty.

 

This was a major year for the Supreme Court and its decisions these last few weeks have made this the best Pride Month ever.

Mexico is LOADED with 20W50 oil. It is all anyone buys. It is available in all grades. If the US government is going to sabotage trucking by making oil unavailable, what's stopping the trucks from going down to Mexico to buy 20W50 and diluting it down to 15W40 with other lighter oils? Absolutely nothing. What's to stop truckers from going down to Mexico and having their trucks serviced in Mex? If you could push an oil change off to a 60,000 mile interval, what's the big deal with going into Mexico for an oil change? And if you really had to What would stop a trucker from skipping oil changes completely, and instead changing only the filter and topping the level off?? NOTHING. Obviously that would not be good for the truck, but it would still go at least 500,000 miles, it just would not make it to 2 million.

 

CONCLUSION: If they really do get rid of the oil for the big rigs, it is long term doom, not short term and certainly not "All commerce will stop in 8 weeks". Someone needs to lay off on the mushrooms.

The Department of State in Washington, DC, would join efforts with the Israeli occupation and several Arab states to bolster their aerial military capacities, which would offer them "protection" against Iran. The collaboration was part of proposed bipartisan legislation that will be introduced in Congress on Thursday.

 

This constitutes a new attempt by the US to strengthen its allies in West Asia following the signing of several normalization agreements between Arab states and the Israeli occupation.

 

Congressional aides have stressed that this proposal would prompt them to cooperate closely within the region.

 

The military aid would be provided to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the rest of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), as well as Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, and the Israeli occupation. The draft legislation said the parties to the agreement would be provided with a wide array of arms and equipment that would "protect" them "from cruise and ballistic missiles, manned and unmanned aerial systems, and rocket attacks from Iran, and for other purposes."

 

Egypt and Jordan had normalized ties with "Tel Aviv" in 1980 and 1994, respectively, while Bahrain and the UAE joined the negotiations table with the occupation decades later in 2020 under the auspices of the United States. Greater cooperation between "Tel Aviv" and its regional allies is pushing US lawmakers to discuss ways their military could operate differently in West Asia, as per Jon Alterman, a senior vice president of the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

 

All of the names on the bill are either partners or allies of the United States, and though they all get the majority of their air defense systems from Washington, which also helps them figure out how to operate them, the US reportedly does not cooperate with the, and according to security experts, closer cooperation would provide all the members to the agreement with a better early warning system.

 

If the bill makes it through the House of Representatives and passes the Senate floor, the Arab states will see themselves sharing a radar with the Israeli occupation.

 

It is worth noting, however, that relations between the United States and Saudi Arabia have been souring lately, especially as Washington is asking the Gulf states to pump out more oil to "stabilize" the energy market tilted by the anti-Russian sanctions while the latter is declining its requests.

QAnon Creator ‘Q’ Returns After Nearly Two-Year Hiatus

The anonymous message board user known as “Q,” whose cryptic announcements spawned the fascist pro-Trump QAnon conspiracy theory, has returned to posting after a nearly two-year hiatus.

 

On Friday night, someone with access to Q’s login credentials posted on 8kun, the anarchic internet community where Q last posted in December 2020.

 

“Shall we play a game once more?” the first post marking Q’s return to the board read, signed “Q.”

 

The message was written in the same clue-like format as thousands of earlier Q posts, dubbed “Q Drops” by their fans, that led to the creation of QAnon in late 2017. Q’s followers believe the messages explain the world as it really is, controlled by Satan-worshipping, child-eating pedophiles in the Democratic Party, finance, and other institutions.

 

In QAnon’s telling, Donald Trump was recruited by the military to run for president in 2016 to take down that nefarious “cabal.” QAnon believers await “The Storm,” an event in which they believe Trump enemies like Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama will be executed via orders from a military tribunal, or imprisoned in Guantanamo Bay.

 

The Q poster followed up with two more messages on Friday night. Asked why they had disappeared for more than a year, they wrote, “It had to be done this way.”

 

“Are you ready to serve your country again?” Q wrote in another post. “Remember your oath.”

 

Despite its ludicrous claims, QAnon has managed to become a faction within the Republican Party. Two current members of Congress, Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Lauren Boebert (R-CO), have voiced support for QAnon in the past, and more Q backers are expected to win office in the midterms. A 2021 poll found that QAnon’s core tenets have a significant amount of support, with 15 percent of people surveyed saying they believed the world is run by a Satanic pedophile cabal.

 

Q stopped posting on 8kun in December 2020, shortly after Trump’s election defeat. Ron Watkins, the former 8kun administrator who has often been accused of controlling the QAnon account, is currently running as a longshot candidate for an Arizona House seat.

 

Watkins, who has denied posting as Q, didn’t respond to an immediate request for comment on Q’s return. It’s not clear whether the new Q posts are meant to coincide with the Supreme Court’s ruling Friday overturning abortion rights.

 

QAnon has won backing from a number of prominent Trump supporters, including former national security adviser Michael Flynn, comedian Roseanne Barr, and MAGA lawyers Lin Wood and Sidney Powell. A QAnon leader has successfully organized a coalition of secretary of state candidates who could be poised to win control of elections in some battleground states.

 

The conspiracy theory has also inspired terrorism and multiple murders, as well as providing the inspiration for a number of Capitol rioters.

Iran’s Nuclear Agency Turns Off IAEA Cameras It Says Aren't Included in March NPT Safeguards Deal

 

Following accusations it had refused to cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Association (IAEA), the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) decided to turn off several monitoring cameras at an unnamed nuclear site, saying they were not part of its monitoring deal with the UN-affiliated watchdog.

 

In a Wednesday statement, the AEOI said the IAEA has “unfortunately ignored the fact that such cooperation signifies Iran’s goodwill, has been ungrateful for the cooperation and has considered it as a duty of Iran,” according to Tasnim News Agency.

 

As a result, the agency turned off two of the ultra-Safeguards Agreement cameras that monitor the country’s enrichment of uranium-235, a radioactive isotope useful in lower purities for nuclear power and at extremely high purities for producing nuclear warheads. It can also be used as the base from which to refine plutonium, a much more powerful nuclear warhead fuel.

 

The AEOI said the cameras went beyond the scope of Tehran’s nonproliferation treaty (NPT) safeguards agreement made with the IAEA. It added that more than 80% of the IAEA’s cameras in Iran are covered by the agreement and have remained on.

He demanded Tehran reveal “the current location, or locations, of the nuclear material and/or of the equipment contaminated with nuclear material, that was moved from Turquzabad in 2018.”

 

Saeed Khatibzadeh, the spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, blasted the report as “neither fair nor balanced,” saying Tehran had in fact provided the IAEA with written answers to its question.

 

Iran has also accused Grossi of “colluding” with Israel after he traveled to Tel Aviv on Friday and met with Prime Minister Naftali Bennett ahead of the IAEA meeting. The visit was especially dubious as Israel is not only staunchly opposed to a nuclear deal with Iran, but also possesses nuclear weapons and is not a signatory to the NPT.

One of Joan Rivers' doctors did snap photos of her while she was under anesthesia during her fatal throat surgery, new court papers state.

 

In documents filed in Melissa Rivers's multimillion-dollar malpractice lawsuit against Yorkville Endoscopy, lawyers say that Dr. Lawrence Cohen — the former medical director at the facility, who is also a defendant in the case — took photos of a sedated Joan with her personal ear-nose-throat physician, Dr. Gwen Korovin, while Joan was under anesthesia. They state that the photos are corroborated by multiple sources, including the clinic's own records and the medical examiner's report.

The filing, which was obtained by The Insider With Yahoo, references the medical examiner's interview with anesthesiologist Renuka Bankulla, who is also a defendant in the case. Bankulla said that Cohen "took out his mobile phone and took photos of Dr. Korovin with (Miss Rivers).

In addition to Bankulla, clinic director Daniel Adler acknowledged to Melissa in a letter that more than one staff member present during the procedure had claimed that Cohen had taken pictures of Joan, according to the New York Daily News.

 

The papers — which revealed other details of Joan's ill-fated surgery — noted that Cohen denied that he took the photograph, so the plaintiff's lawyers want him to state, under oath, "whether or not such a photograph was taken so as to determine its whereabouts and prevent any distribution of it."

 

In May, Melissa opened up about the loss of her mother on the Today show, saying that the thing that hurt the most about the botched routine endoscopy, which Joan had on Aug. 28, were the photos.

 

"I think the selfie," Joan's only daughter said. "There was a story circulating that, during the procedure, the doctors were taking selfies of themselves, with my mother, while they were working on my mom."

 

Melissa went on to share her reasons for the lawsuit.

 

"If something happens and everyone does everything properly, things happen. You live with it," she explained. "When it's error after error after error after error after behaviors that you cannot even begin to get your head around, you get mad."

DJT rally "mistake" decode…[B]en for [m]en

 

Given the disputes about whether DJT has confirmed the recent Q posts, I went back to carefully rewatch the Mendon rally:

At 8:40 PM, where he is supposed to say "men", he actually says "Ben".

The posted video snippet is from RSBN, and you can listen for youself.

To get that clip, I checked my Network tab in the developer tools to find the right mp4 link and saved the whole video using youtube-dl (as it couldn't decode the original link).

Then I cut the snippet with Avidemux, and saved the audio track.

To get the waveforms shown in the graphic, I put that audio into Audacity and took a screencap.

It is hard to "hear" this sort of "error" unless you are directly listening for it, but DJT has done this sort of thing before.

(I think he overtly said something about Q at a rally in West Virginia once, but it was "hidden" by the "intended" meaning.)

In this case, the comm is hidden in a "red meat" line, so most anons were focused intently on the content, not the sound.

 

The upshot is that DJT says "Ben" and not "men".

Then the issue is how to decode that, and I offer two decodes, and they both work.

One points to a Ben Garrison Q post, and the other gets going with Ben Franklin.

 

The 8kun javascript part of the decode might seem to come out of nowhere, but I knew about the timestamp there from earlier looking into what was going on with the ID numbers on Q's posts.

There was a question about why the TOR posts would show a normal ID on mouseover, and part of the answer is that the mouseover event is calling a function in main.js.

But there may be further things to discover there.

There do seem to be oddities in the comments at the top, but I did not want to go too far astray (and plus I am not an expert on this).

There seem to be extraneous comments (this slows things down) and the seeming juxtaposition of "polish notation" (operators in front) and Polish language may just be "geek humor" or it may be a subtle pointer to Q26.

 

The Baylor Lady Bears tweet also did not come out of nowhere.

I think it is in one of the clockfag graphics that gets posted every so often.

I am not a clockfag but I do take a look at the graphics from time to time.

 

At the very bottom, I use the infamous "B" post in the decode because it works.

It works whether it was posted by a black hat or a white hat.

It was apparently deleted by Q at the request of an anon on the night that Q returned.
