Investigating Russian Oligarchs being sanctioned by the west for the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

 

This is also tied to the 7 dead Russian oligarchs who died recently under mysterious circumstances. Of course, Putin was blamed for these deaths, but that doesn't hold much water. Of these dead oligarchs, none were critical of Putin, or the war, and none were on the sanctions list.

In April, the British island of Jersey, located off the coast of France, froze more than $7 billion in assets belonging to Abramovich.

Shortly after being sanctioned, Roman Abramovich Asked his rich pals, the Rothschilds, to lend him a million bucks.

 

Abramovich is a citizen of Israel. At first glance several of the other oligarchs are also citizens of Israel. Who created Israel?

Texas GOP Passes Resolution Declaring Biden ‘Not Legitimately Elected’

 

Texas Republicans passed a resolution on June 18 stating that President Joe Biden was “not legitimately elected,” and that “substantial” election fraud in key metropolitan areas influenced the results of the 2020 presidential election in favor of Biden.

 

“We believe that the 2020 election violated Article 1 and 2 of the US Constitution, that various secretaries of state illegally circumvented their state legislatures in conducting their elections in multiple ways, including by allowing ballots to be received after November 3, 2020,” stated a resolution passed on Saturday, the last day of a three-day biennial Texas GOP convention held in Houston, the Texas Tribune reported.

 

“We believe that substantial election fraud in key metropolitan areas significantly affected the results in five key states in favor of Joseph Robinette Biden Jr,” the resolution continued.

 

“We reject the certified results of the 2020 Presidential election, and we hold that acting President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. was not legitimately elected by the people of the United States,” it added.

 

The state’s GOP, the largest in the nation, passed the resolution after delegates sat through a Thursday screening of “2000 Mules,” a documentary directed by conservative author and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza.

 

The movie features the undercover investigative work of David Lara, a citizen investigator, and Arizona State Senate candidate Gary Snyder, as well as investigations conducted by the election integrity organization “True The Vote” on an alleged coordinated ballot trafficking operation during the 2020 election.

Diabetes drug lead to significant weight loss in people with obesity: study

A diabetes drug taken once a week lead to dramatic weight loss in people who have obesity, according to a recently published study in The New England Journal of Medicine. The study authors said that participants in the 72-week trial lost up to 20% of their body weight.

 

"The findings indicate tirzepatide may be a potential therapeutic option for individuals living with obesity, with participants losing between 16% and 22.5% of their starting weight", the authors said in the study.

 

The drug, tirzepatide, is a novel drug that was recently approved by the Food & Drug Administration to help treat type 2 diabetes through a once-weekly injection. The drug, works on two hormones that help control blood sugar and send fullness signals to the brain, the authors explained in the study. The investigators decided to look at the effect of the diabetes drug on obesity and presented the findings of the phase 3 trial at a symposium at the 82nd Scientific Sessions of the American Diabetes Association® (ADA) in New Orleans, LA.

 

The 72-week phase 3 double-blind, randomized, controlled trial, involved over 2500 participants who were considered obese and did not have diabetes.

 

The team of researchers divided the participants into four groups. Three of the groups were given 5mg, 10mg or 15mg of tirzepatide to be self-administered once a week for 72 weeks, while the fourth group was given a self-administered placebo injection. All four groups were given counseling sessions regarding lifestyle habits and low-calorie meals. They also performed at least 150 minutes of physical activity a week.

 

The investigators found that 89% of participants, who took the 5 mg dose of the drug and 96% of those who took 10 mg and 15 mg weekly doses of the drug, achieved at least 5% body weight reductions compared to 28% of those in the placebo group.

 

According to the report, participants who took the 5 mg dose of tirzepatide lost an average of 35 pounds, and the 10 mg group achieved an average loss of 49 pounds. The participants who took the 15 mg injection saw an average 52-pound weight loss over the 72-week course of the study. Those in the placebo group achieved a 5 lb. average of weight loss, according to the study.

 

"Obesity should be treated like any other chronic disease – with effective and safe approaches that target underlying disease mechanisms, and these results underscore that tirzepatide may be doing just that," lead researcher Ania Jastreboff, MD, PhD, an associate professor Yale University School of Medicine, and director of Weight Management and Obesity Prevention at the Yale Stress Center told one media outlet.

 

"These results are an important step forward in potentially expanding effective therapeutic options for people with obesity. Notably, about 9 out of 10 individuals with obesity lost weight while taking tirzepatide," Jastreboff, who is also the co-director of the Yale Center for Weight Management in Connecticut said in the media report.

 

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, (CDC), the prevalence of obesity in the United States was nearly 42% in 2017 through March 2020. The CDC stated that obesity related conditions include heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes and some types of cancer.

70 missing children, human trafficking victims found in Texas operation

May 31 (UPI) – A U.S. Homeland Security investigation, called Operation Lost Souls, has recovered 70 missing children in western Texas.

The children, ranging in ages from 10 to 17, included victims of sex trafficking and were found over a three-week investigation that started in late April, according to Homeland Security Investigations.

The man who allegedly planned the assassination attempt on Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh over the leaked overturn of Roe v. Wade has pleaded not guilty in federal court.

 

Earlier this month, police arrested California resident Nicholas John Roske, 26, near Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s house in Maryland on Wednesday after he had allegedly traveled there to murder the sitting judge to protect Roe v. Wade.

 

“A California man carrying at least one weapon near Brett M. Kavanaugh’s Maryland home has been taken into custody by police after telling officers he wanted to kill the Supreme Court justice,” reported the Washington Post at the time.

 

“Two people familiar with the investigation said the initial evidence indicates the man was angry about the leaked draft of an opinion by the Supreme Court signaling that the court is preparing to overturn Roe. v. Wade,” continued the Post.

 

Police and court documents say that Roske had in his possession a Glock-17 pistol, a tactical knife, pepper spray, zip ties, and a crowbar.

 

During his arraignment in a Maryland federal court on Wednesday, Roske reportedly gave “quick and clear” answers to the questions posed to him regarding the charges as he bowed his head and pleaded not guilty.

 

Shortly after Roske’s arrest, the White House said that President Joe Biden “condemns the actions of this individual in the strongest terms, and is grateful to law enforcement for quickly taking him into custody.”

 

The statement said:

 

As the President has consistently made clear, public officials — including judges — must be able to do their jobs without concern for their personal safety or that of their families. And any violence, threats of violence, or attempts to intimidate justices have no place in our society. He has said that himself, and his spokespeople have been forceful about this from the podium.

 

As the Supreme Court reportedly stands on the precipice of overturning Roe v. Wade, radical pro-abortion group Jane’s Revenge, threatened acts of domestic terrorism against pro-life pregnancy centers throughout the country.

 

“From here forward, any anti-choice group who closes their doors, and stops operating will no longer be a target. But until you do, it’s open season, and we know where your operations are. The infrastructure of the enslavers will not survive. We will never stop, back down, slow down, or retreat,” the group said in an open letter.

During the parade, roads leading to or near the two museums were closed and under heavy security. At the door of the NMEC, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi received the convoy, which was met with a 21-gun salute by the Republican Guard.

Lockdowns, Not the Pandemic, Created Havoc

 

A recent study conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) surveyed thousands of high school students on the effects of the pandemic. “Since the beginning of the pandemic,” the study reports, “more than half of students found it more difficult to complete their schoolwork (66%) and experienced emotional abuse by a parent or other adult in their home (55%),” which correlated heavily with students who “experienced insecurity via parental job loss (29%), personal job loss (22%), and hunger (24%).”

 

A related CDC study, released the same day, examined the effects the pandemic has had on the mental health of high school students. It found that “during the 12 months before the survey, 44.2% experienced persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness, 19.9% had seriously considered attempting suicide, and 9.0% had attempted suicide.”

 

These findings should be no surprise. Only a few months into the pandemic, the CDC’s morbidity and mortality report surveyed people of all ages regarding substance abuse and suicidal thoughts, and young people showed the most dramatic increase compared with precovid surveys. This report was all but ignored, of course, as the demagogues in politics and the media predicted Armageddon if the world didn’t embrace their draconian isolation policies.

 

Now that the Chicken Littles have come home to roost, the real question is whether the findings of these studies are the consequence of the pandemic or the response to it. One CDC representative, speaking of the studies, provided a revealing answer to this question: “This really gives us the evidence to say with certainty that the pandemic was incredibly disruptive for young people and their families” (emphasis added). The “pandemic took a toll,” according to every media headline reporting on the studies.

 

To some, the distinction between the pandemic and the lockdowns may seem like splitting hairs, but the choice of words can have important consequences on present and future policies. The logic behind the social-distancing mandates has been that such policies are necessary to lessen the severity of the pandemic. Even in the face of overwhelming evidence that the lockdowns have proven ineffective, the faithful will always find ways to dismiss the naysayers and urge even more severe mandates (the problem is that we haven’t isolated enough!).

 

If, as the media and researchers claim, it is the pandemic taking such a toll on young people, then it seems to justify even more authoritarian responses to the virus. Lock down harder! Isolate further! Punish violators more severely! The lockdowners, like Mrs. Lovejoy, need only cry “think of the children” and the effects the pandemic is having on them to drive support for the very policies that, in reality, are responsible for the problems they aim to solve.

Police Kill Intruder Trying to Forcefully Enter Alabama Elementary School

 

Police on Thursday fatally shot a man trying to forcefully enter an elementary school in Gadsen, Alabama.

 

The potential intruder went to several locked doors trying to get into Walnut Park Elementary School before police shot him dead, according to Gadsen City Schools Superintendent Tony Reddick.

If this happens, state action can effectively nullify these federal gun laws and render them ineffectual.

Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) and Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) have [knowingly] crafted [unconstitutional] legislation to make [illegal] federal background checks more [illegally] robust.

While strengthening NICS and banning bump stocks might be considered “common sense,” these actions are not constitutional. The Constitution does not delegate the federal government any power to maintain and run a background check system for firearms purchases, or to ban firearms accessories.

In fact, the Fox News reporting on the Cornyn/Murphy bill reveals just how easily states can make the proposed law totally ineffectual.

So, if a state simply refuses the incentives, it can completely ignore the proposed law.

Instead of lobbying Congress or hoping the federal courts will issue a favorable opinion, we should focus efforts at the state level where we have a better chance of influencing the process.

The U.S. controlled NATO will still be there. It is practically guaranteed that the U.S. will use it to push for revenge for the loss of Ukraine. This will be done by a steady buildup of troops and long range missile capabilities along Russia's Nordic and Baltic borders and additional naval threats in the northern Arctic as well as the southern Black Sea. Some ten years from now the U.S. would be able to again try to wage a big (proxy) war against Russia. Then with a decent chance to win.

 

No negotiations or peace agreements will prevent that. The U.S. is famously non-agreement-capable (недоговороспособны). It has broken ALL promises and agreements it has ever made with Russia.

 

Dozens of U.S. and European luminaries had promised to Russia that NATO would expand 'not one inch' towards Russia. Look where its borders are now. The U.S. and the EU have confiscated huge amounts of Russian state owned money. They have even taken, in contradiction to their own constitutions, the properties of private Russian citizens just because those persons happen to be Russian.

 

In 2014 Germany and France signed on to guarantee elections for a peaceful regime change in Kiev. A day later the fascists stormed the Ukrainian parliament and those guarantees turned out to be totally worthless. The U.S. simply said fuck the EU. It does not give shit about European interests. Germany and France later negotiated and signed the Minsk-1 and Minsk-2 agreements. They continued to feed billions of EU money into Ukraine even as the Ukrainian government, controlled by the U.S., did nothing to fulfill them. Yes, they were that stupid.

 

The U.S. has installed 'missile defense' systems in Poland and Romania which are in fact designed to lob Intermediate Range Ballistic Missiles (IRBM) onto Moscow. These are a serious danger to Russia.

 

Even after Ukraine is finished, NATO and its EU proxies will continue to be a danger to Russia. Both have proven to be unable to keep promises. Russia in consequence will have to rearrange them.

Now Kansans Have to Amend the State Constitution

 

While Hodes conflicted with the pro-life principles held by the majority of Kansans, that did not dissuade the state supreme court from finding a constitutional right buried in the state’s 150-plus-year-old constitution. Those justices, after all, were not beholden to ordinary Kansans, with four of the Kansas Supreme Court justices in the Hodes majority having been appointed by Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, a supporter of legal abortion.

 

The Kansas Supreme Court justices in Hodes did precisely what the U.S. Supreme Court in Dobbs condemned—they misused their raw judicial power to prevent the populace from addressing “the issue of abortion through the processes of democratic self-government.” Kansans are attempting to reclaim that authority and have been for the last three years, but to do so and overturn the Hodes decision requires citizens to amend the state constitution.

 

On August 2, 2022, Kansans will have the chance to do so when citizens go to the polls to vote on the Value Them Both Amendment. The ballot summary of the proposed amendment explains that “a vote for the Value Them Both Amendment would affirm there is no Kansas constitutional right to abortion or to require the government funding of abortion, and would reserve to the people of Kansas, through their elected state legislators, the right to pass laws to regulate abortion.” In other words, the state constitution would remain neutral on abortion and leave the decision to the people and their elected representatives.

 

Here’s What Pro-Lifers Should Do

 

Kansas should serve as a warning to the pro-life movement of the risk activist state courts pose in other states and prompt a three-prong approach to counter the abortion lobby’s strategy.

 

First, the right-to-life movement should work to tee up constitutional amendments that clarify there is no state constitutional right to abortion. Four states currently have constitutional amendments expressly providing that the state constitutions do not include a right to abortion, with Tennessee passing the first amendment in 2014. Alabama and West Virginia followed in 2018, and Louisiana voters approved a similar amendment in 2020.

 

Second, just as elections matter on the federal level for determining the composition of the U.S. Supreme Court, the pro-life movement must make clear the importance elections hold at the state level for both governors, who may appoint justices, and the justices themselves. Also, politicians and their staff responsible for vetting or appointing justices must take that responsibility more seriously and consider the potential jurist’s judicial philosophy.

 

Finally, politicians and pro-life advocates must educate the public on the value of allowing abortion policy to be decided by the legislative process instead of by judicial fiat. The public needs to hear the truth that if a state court declares a state constitutional right to abortion exists, a handful of justices will have the power to mandate an extreme abortion regime, allowing for post-viability abortions and taxpayer-funded abortions, and putting at risk even the most popular bipartisan legislation.

 

Governor Pushing for Human Dismemberment

 

With the volume of discourse raised since Friday’s release of Dobbs, it will be difficult to break through the noise, especially in states led by Democrats, such as Michigan. In Michigan, Democrat Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has been using her bully pulpit to frame the public debate over abortion while she uses her office to push the Michigan Supreme Court to declare a right to abortion under the Michigan constitution.

I was in another non-gun forum and there was a post about anti-gun celebrities and then I thought for a moment…Almost every single person on this list is protected by armed security, whether at the place they work (film sets, sports venues, TV/radio/music media studios) or an armed bodyguard whenever they are in public during their private time. Paul said, “But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are” (1 Cor. 1:27-28).

 

The Bible teaches that there must be an end to self-esteem before true service can begin. Christians should not try and store up the feeble positive attributes of their personalities. That is like trying to stop the bleeding from an amputated arm with a Band-Aid; it won’t work for long.

 

Regardless of how successful or talented we are in ourselves, we will eventually fail. If nothing else, we will get older someday and will not be as productive as before. If our self-esteem is rooted in our accomplishments, then it will ultimately fail. All the security we have found in ourselves will then come crashing down around us.

 

The Christian should have Christ-esteem. Just like the Apostle Paul said, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me” (Gal. 2:20).

 

The secret to victorious Christian living is not found in self-improvement but in self-denial so that Christ can live through us.

 

This does not mean that God wants us to have a bad self-image. It just depends upon which self we are talking about. You see, every born-again believer has become a new person in Christ (2 Cor. 5:17). (Eph. 4:22-24).

 

The old man is corrupt and, at his best, is incapable of living the Christian life. This is the self that most people try to patch up and feel good about. Give it up! We have to die to this old self life with all its good and bad, and find a new identity in Christ.

 

The new man is exactly as Jesus is (1 Cor. 6:17)! That’s right. We are a totally brand-new person in Christ. We have everything that Jesus has, in our spirits (1 John 4:17). We have a totally new identity in Christ. Why then would we want to fix up our old selves instead of just living in our new selves?

 

If we let the new man dominate us, we’ll walk in power and victory in every area of our lives.

 

How can you tell if your thoughts and emotions are coming from the new, born-again self or the old carnal self? God’s Word is the key. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that he is ‘very happy’ that Boris Johnson managed to survive a vote of no confidence on Monday, describing the Prime Minister as a “true friend of Ukraine”.

Zelensky’s position on Boris Johnson, despite Johnson’s domestic policy failings: the UK government has repeatedly backed the Ukrainian war effort, with the Prime Minister himself even visiting the war-torn nation relatively early on in the conflict to show his support.

 

The Johnson administration has also not been shy about sending munitions to Ukraine, shipping billions of pounds worth of weapons and munitions to the eastern European state.

 

“I want to be frank with you — Boris is supporting us, Boris is very concrete in supporting Ukraine,” Zelensky said, emphasising that he was grateful MPs had decided to keep Johnson in power.

 

“I am glad that we have not lost a very important ally, this is great news,” he went on to say.

Harris County, Texas, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, President Joe Biden’s pick to run U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), withdrew Sunday.

 

Biden nominated Gonzalez in April 2021 and he quickly faced questions from Republicans who voiced concerns that he had opposed an ICE screening database. The voluntary database allows for inmates to be screened to determine immigration status, and Gonzalez ultimately opted to end the program for his office in 2017, the Houston Chronicle reported at the time.

 

Gonzalez wrote Biden a letter detailing his decision to withdraw from consideration for the position, The Washington Post reported on Monday. In addition to questions over his decisions as Harris County sheriff, Gonzalez’s nomination was stalled amid unconfirmed allegations of domestic violence, ABC 13 reported.

 

“I arrive at this difficult decision with the understanding that the challenges of preserving both the integrity of America’s borders and our country’s global standing as a beacon of light for those seeking freedom and opportunity have never been greater,” Gonzalez wrote to Biden, according to The Post.

 

Melissa Gonzalez, his wife, has denied ever making a complaint against him, The Hill reported. Melissa Gonzalez wrote in March that “any suggestion that I filed or made a complaint against my husband is false and defamatory,” The Hill also noted, referencing the unverified allegations of domestic violence.

 

Gonzalez cited increased crime in Houston as reason for the withdrawal as well, telling Biden that he “must devote” his “full, undivided attention and energy toward fulfilling the duties that the people of Harris County elected me to perform.”

 

ICE will now face its sixth year in a row without a confirmed leader, The Post noted. The withdrawal coincides with a border crisis that has plagued the U.S. since Biden took office. "One of the female inmates in Ms. Maxwell’s housing unit told at least three other inmates that she had been offered money to murder Ms. Maxwell and that she planned to strangle her in her sleep," Maxwell's lawyers alleged in a court filing Wednesday. They said that the inmate who made the threat has been moved to a separate housing unit in the Brooklyn prison where Maxwell is incarcerated, "presumably to protect Ms. Maxwell."

 

"This incident reflects the brutal reality that there are numerous prison inmates who would not hesitate to kill Ms. Maxwell — whether for money, fame, or simple ‘street cred,'" the lawyers wrote.

 

Maxwell, a British socialite, was convicted in December for sex trafficking a 14-year-old girl during her time as a close associate of infamous billionaire Jeffrey Epstein. Her July 2020 arrest came years after investigations and litigation against Epstein, who allegedly operated an underage sex trafficking ring and raped dozens of underage girls.

 

Epstein was found dead in a Manhattan jail cell in August 2019 while awaiting trial for his sex crimes. His death was officially ruled a suicide.

 

In their sentencing brief, Maxwell's lawyers argued she should receive a lighter sentence for her convictions based on the alleged death threat and multiple other grounds, including her "difficult, traumatic childhood."

"It is the biggest mistake she made in her life and one that she has not and never will repeat,” the lawyers asserted.

 

They also asserted that prosecutors sought to charge Maxwell with crimes only because of "strong media and public uproar" after Epstein escaped justice.

 

“The government faced an urgency to appease the renewed distress of Epstein’s accusers and to repair the tarnished reputations of the [Department of Justice] and [Bureau of Prisons]," the lawyers wrote.

 

“There would be no trial for Epstein and no public vindication and justice for his accusers,” they insisted. “The government now had a huge hole to fill: Epstein’s empty chair.”

 

Maxwell's attorneys are seeking a sentence below the 20 years recommended by the court's probation department, the New York Times reported. Her sentencing hearing is scheduled for June 28.

The Mountain Meadows Massacre (September 7–11, 1857) was a series of attacks that resulted in the mass murder of at least 120 members of the Baker–Fancher emigrant wagon train.[1][a] The massacre occurred in the southern Utah Territory at Mountain Meadows, and was perpetrated by Mormon settlers belonging to the Utah Territorial Militia (officially called the Nauvoo Legion), together with the Southern Paiute Native Americans. The wagon train, made up mostly of families from Arkansas, was bound for California, traveling on the Old Spanish Trail (trade route) that passed through the Territory.

The militia members assured the emigrants they were protected, and after handing over their weapons, the emigrants were escorted away from their defensive position. After walking a distance from the camp, the militiamen, with the help of auxiliary forces hiding nearby, attacked the emigrants. The perpetrators killed all the adults and older children in the group, in the end sparing onlyseventeenyoung children under the age of seven.[a]

 

Following the massacre, the perpetrators buried some of the remains but ultimately left most of the bodies vulnerable to wild animals and the climate. Local families took in the surviving children, with many of the victims' possessions and remaining livestock being auctioned off. Investigations, which were interrupted by the American Civil War, resulted in nine indictments in 1874. Of the men who were indicted, only John D. Lee was tried in a court of law. After two trials in the Utah Territory,Leewas convicted by a jury, sentenced to death, and executed by Utah firing squad on March 23, 1877.

 

Historians attribute the massacre to a combination of factors, including war hysteria about a possible invasion of Mormon territory and Mormon teachings against outsiders, which were part of the Mormon Reformation period. By one account, Hamblin was on his way home and was met by his adopted Indian son, Albert, who recounted the horror of the slaughter of the Baker–Fancher Party in the infamous Mountain Meadows massacre. In fact, on his trail south, he also met John D. Upon reaching the massacre site, the diary of Sarah PriscillaLeavitt, Hamblin's third wife, recounts the horrors of her lying in the covered wagon as they got to the scene. Although Hamblin warned her to not look out, she peeked for a few seconds, which she always regretted. The remaining children that survived (some accounts say 17, some say 20) were brought to the Hamblin home that night. Sarah cared for three of the children herself. Eventually, federal agents returned all the children to their Arkansas relatives.[17][unreliable source?] Brevet Major J. H. Carelton interviewed Albert, who gave a detailed account of what he saw of the massacre.[18][unreliable source?] Later, he was found lying face down dead in a cactus.
