Whistleblowers: FBI Forbade Agents from Probing Hunter’s Laptop Until After 2020 Election

The leadership of the FBI forbade agents from investigating Hunter Biden’s laptop until after the 2020 election was decided, according to whistleblowers that came forward to Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI).

The FBI postponed investigating Hunter’s laptop because the agency was “not going to change the outcome of the election again,” the senator revealed whistleblowers’ statement on Wednesday in a letter written to Justice Department (DOJ) Inspector General Michael Horowitz.

According to the letter, the whistleblowers said the FBI did not want to investigate the laptop because it was afraid public disclosure would alter the outcome of the 2020 election:

After the FBI obtained the Hunter Biden laptop from the Wilmington, DE computer shop, these whistleblowers stated that local FBI leadership told employees, “you will not look at that Hunter Biden laptop” and that the FBI is “not going to change the outcome of the election again.” Further, these whistleblowers allege that the FBI did not begin to examine the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop until after the 2020 presidential election—potentially a year after the FBI obtained the laptop in December 2019.

Johnson noted “the FBI cannot be trusted” to investigate Hunter’s laptop and that the FBI’s actions that led to the delay in probing the laptop should itself be investigated.

“I call on you to immediately investigate the FBI’s handling of Hunter Biden’s laptop and begin by obtaining the history of the investigative actions taken by the FBI on Hunter Biden’s laptop which should be available on the FBI’s case management system, Sentinel,” Johnson wrote. “This case file should provide valuable information about the steps the FBI took to examine the laptop.”

The FBI’s leadership decision to “undermine” the investigation into the laptop likely impacted the establishment media’s decision to call Hunter’s laptop Russian disinformation during the presidential election.

As many as 15 media personalities claimed Hunter’s laptop emails were likely Russian disinformation. Moreover, many media outlets used Politico’s now-debunked infamous article that detailed 51 intel officials’ belief the laptop was Russian propaganda. Yet the intel letter Politico reported actually suggested the opposite:

Italy Elections: Illegal Migrant Arrivals in 2022 Have Already Topped 50,000

The number of illegal immigrants arriving in Italy is growing, with new figures showing over 50,000 illegals have entered the country so far this year as numbers have continued at a high rate so far in August.

According to data from the Italian Interior Ministry, Italy topped 50,000 illegal arrivals last week on Friday, and as of Monday it had recorded a total of 50,760 arrivals — a significant rise from 2021, when there were 35,480 arrivals during the same period.

Italian authorities are estimating that, by the end of the year, the country could see as many as 77,000 migrants arrive, which would be the largest number since 2017, Il Giornale reports.

So far in August, according to statistics from the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), over 9,100 migrants have arrived in the country, continuing the trend from July in which 13,197 migrants arrived — a figure larger than the entire year of 2019.

Both the UNHCR and Italian Interior Ministry data show that just three nationalities make up the majority of migrants to Italy: Egyptians, Tunisians, and Bangladeshis.

None of these migrants’ countries are currently in a state of war.

Indeed, last year just 15 per cent of the illegal arrivals in Italy who attempted to claim asylum were actually granted refugee status, while the majority were deemed to be claiming unjustifiably.

Domenico Pianese, general secretary of the police union Coisp, has highlighted the toll the landings are taking on police, stating some are working shifts of up to 18 hours to deal with the continuous arrivals.

“What is happening these days in Trapani, in the First Reception Center of Milo and in the hotspots throughout Sicily, is decidedly aberrant: dozens of agents in addition to having to do shifts of even 18 hours continuous without water and without any protection, are constantly diverted from the control of the territory to have to devote themselves without respite to the management of migratory flows that in this period have increased dramatically,” Pianese said.

“This situation is occurring in a province where the control of the territory should be a priority for the State and for all the Police Forces, given the strong incidence of organized crime,” he added.

‘Political Witch Hunt’: Mike Davis Alleges Biden Knew About The Mar-A-Lago Raid

Mike Davis, the founder of judicial advocacy group the Article III Project (A3P), alleged Wednesday that President Joe Biden knew about the FBI’s raid on Mar-a-Lago.

Davis insinuated that the Biden administration made false statements about the raid, including reports that former President Donald Trump stored nuclear documents at his residence and that the administration was not given advance notice before the raid.

“We know that that White House Deputy Counsel … Jonathan Su … has been working with the [National] Archives for three months, and that President Biden had to make the determination himself, as the president, whether he was going to waive executive privilege for the former president,” Davis said.

“That is an unprecedented waiver of executive privilege that led to this criminal investigation and this raid, this unprecedented, unnecessary and unlawful raid on Biden’s former political rival and his future political rival,” he continued.

Waters suggested that, by authorizing the National Archives and Records Administration to reject any executive privilege claims Trump might make to prevent the Justice Department from obtaining documents stored at Mar-a-Lago, Biden had “set in motion the FBI raid.” Biden also ordered the National Archives to share all materials they obtained from Trump with the Justice Department and the FBI, according to a letter obtained by The Washington Times.

Even worse, the HHS also paid off so-called conservative media outlets such as Fox News and Newsmax to spin positive stories about deadly and ineffective vaccines to their “suspicious” conservative viewers.

Robinson pointed out that the two conservative news outlets “took the money and said nothing to [their] conservative viewers,” which was confirmed by a whistleblower from inside Newsmax who reached out to her.

The owners of a shrine to former President Donald Trump in Youngstown are not liable for a vehicle crash nearly six years ago that injured two people, a state appeals court has ruled.

The Pennsylvania Superior Court this week affirmed a previous ruling by Westmoreland County Common Pleas Judge Chris Scherer to dismiss the lawsuit filed by a motorist injured in the October 2016 crash.

Kellie Roadman of Ligonier sued Trump House owner and state Rep. Leslie Rossi, claiming she was negligent and liable in the crash. The lawsuit argued the red, white and blue-painted Trump House — with its 14-foot-tall cutout of the now-former president — distracted motorists and left visitors unable to properly identify a driveway leading to the home along Route 982.

The two-story Trump House, festooned with posters and other displays, had as many as 14,000 visitors a month leading up to the 2016 election, officials estimated.

Rossi and her husband, Michael, own the house, which served as a tourist attraction and campaign information center for Trump’s initial bid for office.

Leslie Rossi, a Republican who was elected to the state Legislature in 2021 to replace state Rep. Mike Reese following his death, did not respond to a request for comment Wednesday.

In the lawsuit, Roadman claimed her vehicle was hit by another car driven by Paula Miller of Hempfield as she slowed down on the two-lane road to turn into a driveway at the Trump House.

“Our review of the foregoing testimony confirms that there is simply no evidence of record to suggest that this accident was caused by some condition present on defendants’ property,” the judges ruled.

Roadman said she sustained leg and ankle fractures, knee injuries, spleen and liver lacerations and other sprains and cuts in the crash. A passenger in Miller’s vehicle claimed to have suffered a broken hip and concussion.

The Trump House still stands as a tribute to the former president, although no visitors were there late Wednesday afternoon.

25 Simple Bullet Points Proving CO2 Does Not Cause Global Warming: by a Geologist, for a Change (Dr Roger Higgs)

1) Geologists know climate change unrelated to atmospheric CO2 occurred throughout Earth’s 4.5-billion-year history. Yet the IPCC (United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) has no geologists among the hundreds of appointed authors of its Fifth Assessment Report of 2014 and its Sixth Report due in 2022 (see my Technical Note 2019-10). Thus IPCC incredibly lacks both geological input and long-term perspective.

2) IPCC’s very existence relies on public belief in manmade or ‘anthropogenic’ global warming (AGW) by CO2 emissions. Moreover its appointed authors, mostly government and university researchers, are nearly all biased by strong vested interests in AGW, i.e. reputations (publications, lectures) & continuance of salaries & research grants. Similarly, major universities have abandoned their scientiﬁc impartiality & integrity by hosting research institutes mandated to conﬁrm & act on AGW, e.g. Grantham Institute (Imperial College), Tyndall Centre.

3) The often-repeated ‘97% consensus among scientists that global warming is man’s fault’ (CO2 emissions) is untrue. It refers in fact to surveys of just a relatively small group of ‘climate scientists’ (a fairly new type of scientist, with strong incentives for bias; see Bullets 2 & 15), moreover only those who are ‘actively publishing’.

4) ‘Climate change denier’ & ‘global warming denier’ are despicable & dishonest terms for ‘AGW doubters’. No educated person disputes global warming, as thermometers measured 1°C rise from 1850 to 2016 (with pauses).

5) The ‘Greenhouse Hypothesis’, on which IPCC’s belief in AGW is based, is that atmospheric gases trap heat. White House rebuffs Israeli request for Biden-Lapid call

The White House recently rejected an Israeli request for an emergency phone call between Israeli occupation Prime Minister Yair Lapid and US President Joe Biden, Israeli media reported on Wednesday.

The development comes amid progress in the nuclear talks between Iran and major world powers in Vienna, which is giving rise to concerns in "Israel".

President Biden's office told "Tel Aviv" that the President was not available for an emergency phone call with Lapid because he is on vacation, Israeli Channel 13 reported, though it was said that the conversation would be arranged eventually.

The Israeli channel reported that Security Minister Benny Gantz would not meet with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin when he goes to Washington on Thursday since Austin had already left the city.

The Israeli occupation's government last Thursday sent a message to the Biden administration saying the EU draft resolution on the Iran nuclear deal, which is being discussed with Iran, crosses the red lines set by the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

"Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid conveyed a message to the White House today, in which he confirmed that the draft European Union agreement being discussed with Iran goes beyond the limits of the 2015 nuclear agreement, and does not comply with the red lines set by the Biden administration," an Israeli official told the Israeli Walla! newspaper at the time.

The European Union proposed easing sanctions on Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) in order to revive the Iranian nuclear deal, formally known as the JCPOA, US media reported earlier in the month.

The proposal, brokered by EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell in coordination with US officials, is not seeking the suspension of sanctions against the IRGC but may "significantly limit their effectiveness."

"Tel Aviv" is highly concerned as the US and Iran are inching closer toward a deal that would relieve sanctions on Iran and impose certain restrictions on the country's nuclear program.

Iran announced Wednesday that it had received a response from the US to its proposals on a final EU draft on the revival of the 2015 accord, marking another step taken closer toward an agreement.

Gantz is scheduled to meet the head of the US military’s Central Command, which oversees operations in West Asia, and US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. The Israeli Minister said Wednesday that his visit was aimed at conveying "Tel Aviv's" position on the deal.

Israeli National Security Advisor Eyal Hulata went to the US today for meetings with Biden administration officials. He met with Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman in Washington to discuss the strength of the bilateral ties while reflecting on President Joe Biden's trip to "Israel" last month. He is likely to meet Sullivan as well.

Lapid urged the US and the European Union to back away from the accord, claiming it did not meet Biden's own "red lines" as it would not prevent Iran from "becoming a nuclear state."

"In our eyes, it does not meet the standards set by President Biden himself: preventing Iran from becoming a nuclear state," Lapid said.

The agreement drew criticism even from former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who said the emerging accord was worse than its predecessor. "The terrible deal with Iran… casts a heavy shadow on our security and our future."

President Biden dismissed in April a demand from Iran for him to reverse a decision taken by the Trump administration in 2019 to label the IRGC a "terrorist organization". A group of US senators in May signed a resolution declaring that the US should not agree to any deal that would entail the lifting of sanctions on Iran.

An anonymous US official, however, underlined that the draft of the agreement proposed by Iran does not include their demand that the US lift the "terrorist" designation of the IRGC.

Major powers and Iran are holding talks in Vienna with the aim of reviving the 2015 nuclear agreement and returning the United States to it following Washington's unilateral withdrawal in 2018 under then-President Donald Trump, who accompanied his decision with the imposition of harsh sanctions on Tehran.

In response, Iran gradually withdrew from its commitments under the JCPOA, seeing that the agreement was no longer binding.

Pentagon Awards BAE $12 Billion Contract to Modernize US Nuclear-Capable Missiles

Defense officials had earlier complained over the Biden administration's decision to scrap $813 billion in defense spending on nuclear capabilities from the 2023 budget. The slashing might force the Pentagon to do away with one of its most powerful nuclear bombs – the ageing megaton-class B83-1 gravity bomb.

The Pentagon has awarded an 18-year-long contract worth $12 billion to the UK-based defense company BAE Systems.

The contract sees BAE "supporting and augmenting" Washington’s Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) weapon systems, as well as provide "professional services" related to their operations. It expires in December 2040.

The US Department of Defense did not elaborate further on the nature of the BAE Systems' work on the ICBMs, which are capable of delivering nuclear warheads. However, the Pentagon noted that most of the work will be carried out at the US Air Force Nuclear Weapon Center in Hill Air Force Base, Utah.

This is one of the biggest contracts allocated by the Pentagon this year amid a slashed defense budget. While the Biden administration called for increasing investments in the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent, namely ICBMs, the overall nuclear weapons budget contracted by $813 billion for 2023.

This move did not sit well with some defense officials, who complained about it during a recent congressional hearing. According to their testimonies, some US weapons might end up on the chopping block as a result, namely the 1.2 megaton B83-1 gravity bomb.

The B83-1 gravity bomb was developed in 1983, and all of its components, including fissure material, require modernization or replacing due to current unreliability. It is also only deliverable by the ageing B-2 Spirit bomber, which is not fit to breach multi-layered enemy anti-air defenses.

The Biden administration’s budget cuts, which may see one of the US’ most powerful bombs retired and replaced by the weaker 50 kilotons B61-12, reverse plans by the Trump government to modernize the deterrent.

Manhattan U.S. Attorney Damian Williams’ office said the two Florida defendants pleaded guilty to conspiracy to transport stolen property across state lines, The Associated Press said.

Authorities did not identify those involved in the diary, but details surrounding the investigation have been public for several months.

Ashley Biden stored her diary and other personal items, including tax records, in a home where one of the defendants was living in September 2020, prosecutors stated. On July 29, 2022, Governor Inslee announced his intent to rescind 12 Proclamations, including Proclamation 20-32, which have been in place during the COVID-19 public health emergency.

When these 12 healthcare-related emergency orders terminate this fall, approximately 87% of all COVID emergency proclamations will have ended.

To ensure that allopathic physicians (MDs) and physician assistants (PAs) have ample time to resume pre-COVID licensing and regulatory requirements Proclamation 20-32’s rescission will become effective on October 27, 2022.

Continuing Medical Education

Proclamation 20-32 has suspended sections of the Washington Administrative Code (chapter 246-919 WAC for MDs and chapter 246-918 WAC for PAs) continuing medical education (CME) requirements. However, with the impending rescission of Proclamation 20-32, practitioner CME requirements will resume this fall.

In conjunction with the Department of Health and other medical professions, the Washington Medical Commission (WMC) will exercise enforcement discretion for MDs and PAs regarding the resumption of CME requirements. WMC will be instating a grace period for MDs and PAs to complete their CME requirements.

Hoffenberg was the founder of New York debt collection agency Towers Financial Corporation, which in 1993 was revealed to be one of the biggest Ponzi schemes in U.S. history, bilking investors out of nearly half a billion dollars.

Hoffenberg met Jeffrey Epstein in the late 1980s and hired him to help at Towers Financial Corporation. “He was my best friend for years. My closest friend for years … He was my guy, my wingman,” Hoffenberg told CBS News in an interview in 2019.

Epstein, who was charged with sex trafficking of minors in July 2019, was found hanged in his cell in New York a few weeks later. Epstein’s death was officially ruled a suicide, though the incident has been the subject of numerous conspiracy theories.

Interest in Epstein’s case was high because of his links to politicians, businessmen, and celebrities, including former U.S. Presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, Britain’s Prince Andrew, and former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson.

Earlier this year, French modeling agent Jean-Luc Brunel, who was accused of sex trafficking and founded a company with Epstein, was found dead in his cell in an apparent suicide. He had previously been charged with raping a minor.

Steven Hoffenberg, the disgraced businessman and longtime mentor of Jeffrey Epstein, was found dead Tuesday when Connecticut police discovered his rotting corpse during a wellness check, the Post has learned.

Authorities discovered Hoffenberg, who spent 18 years in prison for running a half a billion dollar Ponzi scheme, dead in his home around 8 p.m. Tuesday. It is not clear exactly when he died.

Police had been called to the 77-year-old’s home in Darby, CT at the request of a friend.

No cause of death has been revealed, but police said there were no immediate signs of trauma to his body.

“Every indication is that it is Mr. Hoffenberg,” a Derby, Conn., Police Department spokesman said. “There’s nothing to suggest that it isn’t. We believe it’s him. We’re just waiting for dental records.”

Hoffenberg, who was once Epstein’s boss, might have been the link to his mysterious fortune.

Steven Hoffenberg has claimed that Epstein was his accomplice in a Ponzi scheme he ran through his Towers Financial Corp.

He pleaded guilty to the scheme in 1995, and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. While Hoffenberg sat locked up, Epstein was allegedly raping teenage girls with the help of his now-convicted madame, Ghislaine Maxwell.

Tower investors have claimed in an August 2018 lawsuit that Epstein “knowingly and intentionally utilized funds he fraudulently diverted and obtained from this massive Ponzi scheme for his own personal use to support a lavish lifestyle.”

“He was my colleague daily, seven days a week,” he said of Epstein in a 2019 interview in Quartz.

Hoffenberg briefly funded The Post from January-March 1993, before losing control of the paper.

A former Trump Tower resident, Hoffenberg was an early backer of former President Trump’s 2016 presidential bid, but withdrew his support.

He became a born-again Christian in prison, he told Quartz.

The filling alleges Foreman, estimated to be worth around $300million, sexually abused Denise S when she was 13 years old, before having sex with her two years later.

Nevada resident Gwen H said Foreman threatened to fire her father, a longtime advisor to the boxer, if she did not submit to his will. She said the abuse continued until she was 16.

In a statement last month released in anticipation of the lawsuit, Foreman said: 'Two women have been trying to extort millions of dollars each from me and my family.'

TMZ Sports in August quoted a source saying the women initially asked Foreman to pay each of them $12.5million.

"Over the past several days, District and campus administrators determined that a staff member reposted the content from another account believing it to be content about self care without actually reading the text of the post," Frisco ISD Government Affairs posted on Facebook. "Later, when the staff member realized their mistake, they removed the post and posted that the account had been hacked. When District and campus administrators learned that was not true, the entire account was disabled."

"We sincerely apologize for resharing the inaccurate post," the post continues. "We were attempting to respond quickly with what we believed to be true information. In the future, we will verify such posts from other District accounts prior to resharing them."

For example, Macron said that France will continue to support Ukraine with military, financial, and humanitarian aid until “victory” has been achieved on terms acceptable to Kiev.

But behind these public statements of support for Ukraine lies a tug-of-war between Germany, France, and — before Prime Minister Mario Draghi’s downfall — Italy on the one hand, and Poland, the Baltics, and Nordics on the other.

Silent dispute

France and Germany remain concerned about what a Ukrainian victory might entail, and whether the war can be won without an escalation involving NATO more directly, or Russia's use of unconventional weapons.

As a result, a distinction must be made between what is said in public and what Macron, Scholz, and the most senior people around them are thinking privately.

However, as long as the US supports Ukraine, Berlin and Paris are expected to publicly contradict the position of the bloc's "hawkish" Central and Eastern European member countries.

What does that mean?

They won't be able or willing to push for a diplomatic solution this year, or even next. However, differences of opinion will influence how far and how quickly they, and thus the EU, will progress.

This will be most evident in the debate over Russian sanctions, which will become more gradual in the next phase of the war, despite Poland, the Baltics, and the Nordic EU states pressuring the big three for faster and tougher energy sanctions against Moscow.

The EU will undoubtedly continue to discuss tougher measures, but it is unlikely to act as quickly as it did on SWIFT, the coal ban, and the December partial oil embargo.

This is not to say that additional sanctions are unlikely; the EU is still on track to reach the top of its sanctions ladder by the end of next year, which will include expanding the oil embargo and targeting Russian nuclear energy and gas exports. Additional measures, on the other hand, will now take longer and be more difficult to agree on.

Given this political reality, Brussels and EU capitals will instead focus on other forms of assistance to Ukraine for the rest of this year and next, including financial aid to meet the EU's pledge to make €9 billion available to Ukraine this year.

Why's this important?

This is important, as the Ukrainian state is on the verge of default and is dealing with a €5 billion per month financing gap, which Kiev fears will undermine the government's ability to sustain the war.

There will be no new EU common borrowing to support Ukraine or deal with the consequences of war in the EU, but Kiev will receive more assistance in the form of grants and loans.

Military assistance will also be maintained. Discussions on Ukraine's integration into EU structures will also continue, following the European Council's decision in June to grant Kiev "candidate" status — something that could supposedly help Ukraine unlock more financing, anchor the country in the EU, and build momentum for alleged reforms in Kiev.

Despite the fact that membership negotiations are likely to take a long time, European countries believe that keeping Ukraine's EU prospects alive will "send a clear signal to Russia on the bloc's commitment to Ukraine," as well as help sponsor intra-EU cohesion and unity.

Prime Minister Yair Lapid on Thursday boasted that the Israeli pressure campaign with Washington over the Iran nuclear deal has had a positive effect in Israel's favor. Throughout the Vienna talks over the past year, Israel has consistently spoken out against what it sees as the "bad deal" of restoring the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). Israeli leaders have charged that it just buys more time for the Islamic Republic to secretly build a nuclear bomb.

"The Americans accepted a large part of the things that we wanted them to include in the drafts," Lapid told a press briefing Thursday. "It is a welcome change, and the dialogue with them is good and we will continue it." While telling the briefing that Israel has stepped up diplomatic intervention with the White House against an "unacceptable" final draft, he again stressed that "the current deal is a bad deal."

Currently, Iran has said it received Washington's response to revisions of the finalized text, but is still reviewing it; however, starting Wednesday there were unconfirmed reports out of Mideast regional media that the deal is unraveling based on Washington refusing additional Iranian requests. This remains to be seen on an official level at this point.

Starting all the way back in April at a moment Vienna talks had almost completely broken down, Tehran had touted that was enriching uranium to 60% purity, meaning it was well on its way to the 90% needed for weapons-grade if it wanted to, which of course pushed far past the original JCPOA constraints. This threat of quickly ramped up enrichment remains, making Israeli officials nervous.

Earlier this week Tel Aviv had dispatched Israeli national security adviser Eyal Hulata to Washington for "very intensive discussions" with Biden officials. Defense Minister Benny Gantz also arrived in the US Thursday to continue pressing Israel's perspective on the nuclear deal.

Per Lapid's remarks, Israel now sees these efforts as having born fruit. The Jerusalem Post-owned Walla! news outlet subsequently reported that the White House "hardened" its position:

Walla cited a senior Israeli official as saying that the US "hardened their position" in response to Iranian suggestions on the latest draft proposal of the nuclear deal being negotiated in Vienna between Tehran and world powers. INSURANCE: Hours After FBI Found Classified Hillary Emails on Weiner Laptop, Peter Strzok’s Wife Was Promoted to Director of SEC Enforcement

Hours after the FBI found classified Hillary Clinton emails on Anthony Weiner’s laptop, the wife of the FBI agent running the high-profile probe was promoted to a powerful position in the Securities and Exchange Commission, FBI sources said. This case keeps getting worse for the FBI and embattled agent Peter Strzok, the lead investigator on the Clinton probe. His wife Melissa Hodgman was promoted to deputy director of SEC’s Enforcement Division literally hours after Strzok and FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe were debriefed about the Clinton emails found on Weiner’s computer.

The FBI’s original warrant for Weiner’s laptop was issued in late September 2016 and a subsequent warrant was issued on Oct. 30, 2016 so that the FBI could use Huma Abedin’s & Hillary’s classified emails as evidence in the re-opened Clinton probe. Hodgman was promoted Oct. 14, 2016, literally hours after investigators started to examine the laptop’s contents for Clinton emails and assorted files, federal sources confirm.

Perhaps Hodgman’s promotion was merely happenstance?“There are no coincidences here,” one FBI source told True Pundit. “Not with this crew. They wanted his wife in that SEC slot for a reason.”

But why?Enter the Clinton Foundation.We now know what the FBI knew after they seized the laptop during a search warrant at Weiner and Huma Abedin’s Manhattan residence: There were thousands of documents on the laptop related to the Clinton Foundation, including offshore financial records. With that evidence — as well as thousands more of classified emails linked to Hillary on the laptop — FBI sources said agents and brass knew immediately the Bureau would likely reopen the criminal case against Clinton. And ex-Director James Comey did just that two weeks later.

Hence the rush to get an insurance policy in place at the SEC in case things heated up on the white-collar crime side. With Hodgman at the SEC and Strzok at the FBI it would be virtually impossible to even know what cases linked to the Clinton Foundation had criminal merit, if each were trying to keep all things Clinton-related quiet.

ButCharles Ortel, an expert on the financial dealings and filings of the Clinton Foundation believes having chess pieces in place at the SEC and FBI were only a smaller part of a much larger game for the Clintons.

“The Clinton “business plan” to monetize government is broader than simply gaming one agency–they saw an opportunity to create unregulated globalist government and seeded many organizations with like-minded persons, some of whom were simply naive, but all of whom ultimately are corrupt,” Ortel said. Ortel, a private investor and writer who exposes large complex international frauds, understands the labyrinth of the Clinton Foundation’s international scams. And while the foundation itslef is not a public company which would fall under the SEC’s regulatory umbrella, it’s finances remain entwined with dozens of public entities that do.

Ortel has laid out many of these relationships on CrowdSource the Truth on YouTube every Sunday, dissecting the complex financial schemes of the Clinton Foundation. Ortel said having a hook inside the SEC would certainly benefit Hillary Clinton.

“The SEC is a civil agency that only prosecutes criminal cases in concert with the DOJ,” Ortel said. “It is a prime instrument that can be monetized readily — lawyers there typically migrate to jobs as partners in uni-party law firms, so they can, it seems, be managed to favor politically connected donors from both parties.”

This amounts to a very sophisticated white collar protection racket of sorts. If there were illicit contributions to the Clinton Foundation from publicly-traded entities in any country — even companies listed on foreign stock exchanges — the SEC still wields a tremendous amount of power to sanction, sue, or refer criminality to the FBI.

And what about if a prospective donor to the Clinton Foundation has an ongoing problem with the SEC? Or the SEC has frozen certain assets of a donor. The Clintons have the juice to make all that go away or to protect donors from the SEC and FBI oversight and essentially “fix” problems of their billionaire and millionaire benefactors and further rig the system.

“The IRS (Lois Lerner and others) is the prime place where the Clintons (and Obamas, and Bushes) need allies to insulate their “foundations” from attention, and using the DOJ and state AGs from prosecutions,” Ortel said. A modern-day mafia.

Russia reports destruction of eight Ukrainian warplanes

Two separate attacks by Russian forces have destroyed or disabled eight Ukrainian Air Force planes, the Defense Ministry in Moscow claimed on Thursday.

The second reported precision strike strike hit Dnepr military air base in Dnepropetrovsk Region, destroying three unspecified military aircraft, according to Konashenkov. As of Thursday, the ministry claims to have destroyed a total of 273 Ukrainian military planes since launching the operation in February.

The Russian official also confirmed a strike on a train station in the Ukrainian town of Chaplino, but disputed Kiev’s claims about the nature of the target. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky stated on Wednesday evening that the attack had killed 22 civilians, including an 11-year-old child. His office updated the death toll on Thursday to 25.

Ukraine strikes chemical plant – DPR

Rocket strikes caused an electrical fire at the factory in Gorlovka, mayor says

Ukainian rockets loaded with cluster bombs damaged a chemical plant in the Donetsk People’s Republic on Thursday and caused an electrical fire, according to local officials. The “Stirol” factory halted operations but there was no chemical release and the fire was eventually put out, authorities in the city of Gorlovka said.

The plant was struck on Thursday afternoon by two missiles from Ukrainian “Uragan” multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), Gorlovka Mayor Ivan Prikhodko said on Telegram. The rockets were allegedly loaded with cluster munitions, which exploded and started a fire at the electrical substation inside the “Stirol” plant and on the roof of the nearby “Transammiak” factory.

“Stirol” director Vasily Agarkov told local media that the factory halted operations until the fire was extinguished. Agarkov said that about 40 cluster bombs were scattered inside the factory, but that there was no risk of a chemical release. There were no reports of casualties.

Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) emergency services said they received a fire call shortly after 6 pm local time, and it took the firefighters until 7:45 to localize the blaze.

This was the second artillery attack on “Stirol” this month. On August 12, Ukrainian shelling, as claimed by DPR officials, also caused a fire at the plant, hitting a warehouse with construction materials.

Gorlovka is located northeast of Donetsk city, with heavy fighting currently going on north and west of the city between Russian and DPR forces on one side, and Ukrainian troops on the other.

Before the conflict, “Stirol” used to be one ofEurope’s largest producers of mineral fertilizers, accounting for 3% of the global export of ammonia and related compounds.

Russian ex-president envisions military junta in Kiev

A coup is the only alternative to a civilian government accepting Russia’s terms for peace, Dmitry Medvedev said

Former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev haspredicted that the Ukrainian military may stage a coup in Kiev to do what the civilian government refuses to do – negotiate peace with Russia.

Medvedev, who is now deputy chair of the Russian National Security Council, outlined the scenario as one of two options that he believes to be viable for Ukraine. The other was if the government of President Vladimir Zelensky changed its tune and agreed to Russia’s terms for ending hostilities. Either way, Russia will get what it wants from Ukraine, the official said.

Moscow declared the demilitarization and ‘denazification’ of Ukraine as the goals of its military operation in the country. Kiev initially appeared willing to accept a neutral status, but was later emboldened by Western military aid. Zelensky now insists that defeating Russia on the battlefield and retaking all the land that was under Kiev’s control before 2014 is the only possible option for his country.

The assessment by Medvedev apparently came in response to a Wednesday article in The Guardian, which made predictions for how the Ukrainian crisis could develop over the next six months.

Dan Sabbagh, the British newspaper’s defense and security editor, offered five predictions that he considers likely.

The expectations included a deadlocked conflict and a reduction in the intensity of hostilities, a campaign of sabotage by Ukrainian special forces and a renewed refugee crisis during winter.

The Russian official said that any scenario for the conflict that would predict a victory for Kiev was “crystal-clear lies and demagoguery.”

Pentagon issues update on supplying modern fighter jets to Ukraine

Washington is still considering supplying modern combat jets to Ukraine amid its ongoing conflict with Russia,US Under Secretary of Defense Colin Kahl has said. No “final decision,” however, has been madeon this matter and actual delivery could take “years” to materialize – while Kiev must in turn be able to “sustain” and “afford” advanced weaponry systems, the official told a press briefing on Wednesday.

“As it relates to future aircrafts, fourth generation aircraft, for example, even if we were to provide those now, they wouldn’t arrive for years, so we’ve been focused on, as it relates to their fighter aircraft, on what they need … to support the current efforts to hold in the east and perhaps going on a counter offensive,” Kahl explained, pointing to the recently approved delivery of air-to-surface missiles that can be used by warplanes remaining in the Ukrainian inventory.

I can tell you that fighter aircraft remain on the table, just no final decisions have been made about that.

As the potential delivery of warplanes is a matter with an uncertain future, its exact form can take shape only when the ongoing conflict reaches one outcome or another, the official suggested, signaling long-term plans to support Kiev.

“It could be a scenario in which the war continues, it could be a scenario in which the violence ebbs because there’s an agreement or because it just dies down a bit,” Kahl stated. “But even in that instance, the Ukrainians are going to need to defend their territory and deter future aggression.”

Still, any weaponry systems, including potential fighter jets, must be sustainable and Kiev must be able to “afford” them, Kahl stressed, suggesting that the lavish Western aid will not be poured into Ukraine forever.

“We’re trying to be very deliberate about what systems we think makes the most sense for Ukraine to have in that context, and also matters very much–can they sustain it?” he said.

Can they afford it? Because, of course, you know, billions of dollars of international assistance is not, you know, may not be something ten years from now, or 20 years from now.

Russia has repeatedly warned the West against “pumping” Ukraine with weaponry, insisting that the aid would only prolong the conflict rather than change its ultimate outcome. The US remains the top war supplier of Kiev, having funneled billions of dollars in military aid and delivered large batches of assorted weaponry to prop up the Ukrainian military.

Russia and India no longer need US dollar – BRICS president

The two countries have successfully established a mechanism for mutual settlements in rubles and rupees, Purnima Anand says

Russia and India don’t need the US dollar in trade, having turned to national currencies to conduct mutual settlements, BRICS International Forum President Purnima Anand told reporters on Thursday.

“We have implemented the mechanism of mutual settlements in rubles and rupees, and there is no need for our countries to use the dollar in mutual settlements. And today a similar mechanism of mutual settlements in rubles and yuan is being developed by China,” she said.

“That means that the BRICS countries are opening up to Russia, offering the opportunity for the country to overcome the consequences of sanctions,” Anand added, as quoted by RIA news agency.

The BRICS president said mutual trade between India and Russia had grown fivefold over the past 40 years. Moscow supplies a rapidly growing volume of oil to India, and in return gets large quantities of agricultural products, textiles, medicines and other products.

Anand also noted that New Delhi considers itself a neutral party in the current sanctions war between the West and Russia, and despite sanctions pressure, will continue cooperation with Moscow “in any areas where necessary.”

“When Russia’s military operation in Ukraine began, naturally there was pressure on India to stop importing Russian oil. But the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had to reject this pressure. The Russian side was assured that supplies would not be stopped and the sanctions regime would in no way affect the relationship between our countries,” the forum head stressed.

The FBI will use the Ashley Biden diary conviction to pursue Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe.

On Thursday the two individuals who found Ashley Biden’s diary at a halfway house pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit interstate transportation of stolen property.

Make More Stuff in America 🇺🇸

Fighting inflation and lowering costs starts with making more stuff in America and bringing jobs home. We need to bring back American manufacturing by strengthening “Buy American” requirements for companies that do business with the federal government and mandating that companies we buy from make their products right here at home. We don’t need any more simps for big pharma in the Senate — there are already plenty. I’ll fight to hold drug companies accountable for forcing families to ration insulin as they rake in record profits and rip Pennsylvanians off.

If we’re going to bring down the prices of prescription drugs, we need to go after the pharmaceutical companies that jack up the prices. We should also pass legislation to allow for the importation of lower-priced prescription drugs from other countries and put a cap on prescription drug costs.

End Immoral Price Gouging 🧾

It’s time we crack down on the big corporations who are making record profits while jacking up prices for all of us. We need to prosecute the executives of huge corporations, including the big oil companies and meatpacking companies who are artificially driving up prices, gouging consumers at the pump and at the grocery store.

Big oil companies like Chevron, Exxon, and Shell have seen their profits increase 200% since last year, but they’re still charging us sky-high prices for gas. Companies like Tyson posted over a billion dollars in profits last quarter, while raising prices on meat products our families depend on.

It’s gross, and deeply unpatriotic, for the big corporations to be rolling around in cash while charging us record high prices for gas and groceries.

Instead of raising costs at the pump or in the grocery store, these companies should be working to help drive prices down, even if it means their CEOs make a little bit less. It’s time to take on the big corporations and special interests, and bring down prices for the American people.

An Australian bank wants to make pumping gas a thing of the past as it announced on Friday that, beginning in 2025, it will not make loans to customers for new vehicles that are not powered by electricity. You may have heard of a company’s “ESG score”: The initials stand for environmental, social and governance — and the scores businesses receive can determine whether they have access to capital and at what interest rate, among other things.

Now, Bank Australia wants to export that kind of thinking to an individual’s choice of car.

According to Fox Business, the financial institution announced Friday that it will stop providing loans for new gas and diesel cars starting in 2025. Instead, it will only be giving loans to those buying new electric vehicles or used gas and diesel cars.

“We think that the responsible thing for us to do next, is to ensure that our vehicle lending doesn’t lock our customers in to higher carbon emissions and increasingly expensive running costs in the years ahead,” said Bank Australia’s Sasha Courville said in a statement, Fox Business reported.

Courville is Bank Australia’s “chief impact officer.” (That’s seriously his title; this isn’t the Babylon Bee.)

“Ultimately, our announcement today is the beginning of a conversation with our customers and a signal to the wider market that if you’re considering buying a new car, you should think seriously about an electric vehicle – both for its impact on the climate and for its lifetime cost savings,” the statement continued.

This is implying that Australians haven’t thought about it. More than a few new auto buyers likely have — and they’ve said no thanks.

In 2021, 20,665 electric vehicles were sold in Australia, according to data from the Electric Vehicle Council. While that was triple the sales of EVs from the previous year, it still represents only 2 percent of auto sales in the country.

Furthermore, over 60 percent of those sales went to one type of car alone — the Tesla Model 3. At $59,900 Australian to start — almost $41,00 in U.S. dollars — that’s an expensive car for most people.

Now, this arguably has as much to do with Bank Australia’s recently announced target date of achieving net-zero emissions by 2035 as it does with any real concern over the environment. That, and several other problematic things with the move, bear noting.

First, remember “Cash for Clunkers,” the Obama-era program where the government paid you a hefty sum to turn in your fuel-thirsty older vehicle as an incentive to buy newer, more efficient models? Bank Australia has essentially instituted a program that could also reasonably be called “Cash for Clunkers” — only the effect is quite the opposite of what the Obama administration was attempting.

Bank Australia will still be giving out loans for petrol-powered autos, after all; they say they’ll be providing them “until there is a viable and thriving market for electric vehicles.” That’s not going to happen in the three years between now and when this takes effect. So, while it won’t give you money for a new gas or diesel vehicle — one that likely has the most up-to-date emissions equipment and better fuel efficiency than older models — it will lend you cash to buy an older car.

The powertrain on that, obviously, won’t just have the latest bells and whistles to help it sip fuel and emit less carbon. Furthermore, thanks to the fact the powertrain isn’t in factory-fresh condition, it likely pollutes with more carbon and consumes more fuel than it did when it was new.

Yet, Bank Australia will only lend to you if you get a new electric vehicle — which I’d predict most Australians aren’t going to do — or if you get a “clunker.” That set of perverse incentives, in other words, will help keep inefficient cars on the road much longer than they’d usually stay there, particularly if other banks follow Bank Australia’s lead. Nice work.

Second, remember this: The question isn’t if this comes to the United States, only when.

It’s not just the woke Wall Street suzerains that give out ESG scores that are attempting to set into motion a series of financial dominoes which will fundamentally transform our lives in a way that makes us poorer and reduces our quality of life.

Banks will do it, too. They’ve already succumbed to the woke agenda, with institutions like Citibank and Bank of America homing in on gun shops that sell items like so-called “high-capacity magazines.”

As far as the global green new deal evangelists are concerned, your life is only important when you’re doing the things they want you to do as part of their attempt to fundamentally transform human society.
