Democrat Lawmaker Arrested in New Hampshire, Charged with ‘Stalking a Woman’

 

A Democrat lawmaker from New Hampshire has been arrested for “stalking a woman,” according to authorities.

 

State Rep. Stacie Laughton was arrested over the weekend in a domestic violence-related stalking case.

 

The Democrat, real name Barry Laughton, is New Hampshire’s first transgender elected official.

 

Laughton spent the weekend at Valley Street Jail after getting arrested for violating a domestic violence order by stalking a person.

 

Laughton is charged with stalking a woman in violation of a civil restraining order, according to Hudson police.

 

One House Democrat came to Laughton’s defense, however.

 

Rep. Timothy Horrigan (D-Durham) said:

 

“She’s gotten into a lot of trouble over the years & she keeps getting into trouble, but she’s basically a good person.

 

“She’s not violent or abusive, or harmful to anyone other than herself.”

 

Former GOP state Rep. Kim Rice said of Horrigan’s comment:

 

“I don’t think the person she was stalking would feel the same way,” Rice responded.

Antibiotics shortage spreading across U.S. as RSV and flu cases rise

 

A shortage of antibiotics used to treat common childhood illnesses is spreading across the United States during flu season.

 

Drugs that are used to treat the flu, a sore throat and a sinus infection have been impacted, including Tamiflu, amoxicillin and Augmentin.

 

Experts attribute the current shortage to increased demand as respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and flu cases surge.

 

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has reported that there “high” or “very high” respiratory virus activity in more than half of U.S. states.

 

Medical professionals are referring to the flu, RSV and COVID-19 as a "tripledemic."

 

“What we are seeing is record levels of RSV in young children . Usually, we see a spike in December or January, but it’s earlier this year,” said Scott Roberts, a Yale Medicine infectious diseases specialist. “COVID is still the most prevalent virus in the community, but it’s on a downward trajectory, while RSV and flu are increasing.”

Fmr Federal Prosecutor: Fentanyl is killing more people than is being reported, fueling violent criminals

 

On Wednesday, prosecutor Will Scharf announced his departure from the US Attorney's Office Violent Crime Unit in St. Louis, taking to Twitter to share what he had learned while on the job.

 

In a thread, Scharf detailed the life or death situations police officers put themselves in on a daily basis, and lamented the drug problem that has plagued the city and country at large.

 

"Police officers in dangerous cities deal with challenges that the rest of us can only imagine," he began, noting that, "Every stop, every interaction can turn deadly in an instant."

 

"Would you chase an armed bad guy (or two or three) down a dark alley in the middle of the night with no backup?" he asked. "Would you run through a door knowing that someone could be waiting to shoot you on the other side? Police officers do regularly."

 

"Police officers in dangerous cities deal with challenges that the rest of us can only imagine," he began, noting that, "Every stop, every interaction can turn deadly in an instant."

"Society should be on bended knee," he continued, "that after all the criticism they've taken over the last few years, police officers are still out there keeping us safe.

 

Scharf then turned his attention to the drug crisis. He noted that fentanyl has taken over, with dealers lacing other drugs with the deadly substance. He warned that in St. Louis, much of what was being sold as ecstasy was actually meth cut with other stuff, and pointed out that the drug, which used to be cooked in small batches, was being "trucked in by the ton from megalabs in Mexico."

 

"We need to close the border and confront China," he stated firmly.

 

Scharf went on to explain that most of the drug offenders in prison are serious criminals, noting that violence is a "necessary tool" of the drug trade. He suggested that simply selling fentanyl was "violence in and of itself," since it's, "monetizing someone's deadly addiction."

 

"Crime is highly Pareto efficient," he continued, explaining that nearly all offenses are committed by a small number of individuals, and that by taking them off the streets, overall crime could be lessened.

 

He warned, however, that police, prosecutors, and the courts must work in unison to tackle crime; police not making arrests, prosecutors blowing cases, and judges giving soft sentences will surely lead to failure.

 

"I'm incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to work in an outstanding US Attorney’s Office, and to support the efforts of truly outstanding law enforcement officers," Scharf concluded, urging everyone to, "Go thank a cop."

CAGAYAN DE ORO, Philippines – Some of the prosecutors who worked to win convictions against Australian pedophile Peter Gerard Scully had sought professional help because they were traumatized while watching children getting abused in his hurtcore videos.

The 59-year-old Scully was meted a 129-year prison term by a regional court in Cagayan de Oro on November 3.

The verdict came four years after the same court slapped him with a life imprisonment sentence for human trafficking and a maximum of 45 years for five counts of rape.

The cases against Scully took time to build, and the narratives of the victims and video recordings of the kind of torture and abuse they went through took a toll on some of the prosecutors.

“We couldn’t imagine the manner and extent of the abuse that was captured on camera…. I don’t think I’ll ever see another thing like this in my lifetime. As a lawyer, this was the worst thing that I ever saw,” Northern Mindanao Regional State Prosecutor Merlynn Barola-Uy told Rappler in an exclusive interview on Monday, November 14.

The November 3 verdict handed down by Judge Ali Joseph Ryan Lloren of the Regional Trial Court Branch 37 of Misamis Oriental concluded seven years of law enforcement and prosecution work to bring the most notorious pedophile caught in the Philippines to justice.

The more than 60 cases against the man from Melbourne outlived the first judge from the same court and the regional state prosecutor before Uy who supervised the first prosecution team in laying the foundations against Scully’s defense.

Uy said they were forced to watch the videos sold by the pedophile online.

The videos, she said, had to be watched by the lawyers and the late Judge Jose Escobido because Scully’s defense team filed a motion to view them.

It was Escobido who slapped Scully with his first conviction for qualified trafficking in person and rape in 2018.

“As a mother, I couldn’t bear watching it, but we had to because that was part of our job, and because that was our evidence. It was unimaginable,” Uy said.

Watching children as young as 18 months get tortured and sexually abused on video, and their narratives were too much for some of the prosecutors to handle it sent them to psychotherapy sessions.

Uy said prosecutors suffered vicarious trauma, a condition that results in continuous exposure to victims of violence and trauma.

Stolen joys of childhood

The cases also took a toll on the seven surviving children. Scully and his cohorts robbed them of their innocence, and the cases placed them under the government’s witness protection program for years.

Although the government took care of their education, the situation deprived them of some of the joys of childhood.

“The children suffered court fatigue. They got tired of waiting for the day that they would be called to testify. It became such a task for them. It became challenging. They became restless. They wanted to be with their friends. They wanted to live normal lives,” Uy said.

She added, “It was even made worse because of the fact that I’ve seen them grow up.”

The youngest of the children is now 12 years; she was just 18 months when the Australian pedophile violated her.

The eldest, now a 21-year-old college graduate, was 11 when Scully ravaged her on camera.

One of the eight known victims died and was exhumed from a kitchen floor of an apartment in Surigao City in northeastern Mindanao.

The details of her death and exactly what Scully did to “Barbie,” as she was called by prosecutors, were unknown.

“What is clear is that she died as a result of the trafficking,” said Uy.

But the harrowing experience of two of the survivors who escaped in Cagayan de Oro was quite telling – they were cuffed, made to wear dog collars, and forced to dig what would have been their grave in a house basement.

Plea bargaining

The last 60 cases against Scully and his accomplices were consolidated and decided on following a plea bargaining agreement.

Scully would have been meted a life imprisonment sentence for each count of qualified trafficking but prosecutors settled for 129 years for all 60 cases.

Uy said, “One lifetime is not enough for him to pay for his crimes,” but 129 years still means he won’t be able to get out.

“The plea bargaining agreement saved us a lot of time,” she said.

Aside from attempted trafficking, Scully was also convicted early this month of syndicated child pornography, child abuse, rape, and photo and video voyeurism, among others.

His Filipina girlfriend Lovely Margallo has been meted a jail sentence of 126 years, and two other accomplices – Alexander Lao and Maria Durotiya Chia – were each sentenced to nine years in prison. – Rappler.com

Trudeau’s Liberal Government Introduces Amendments Banning SKS and Other Semi-Automatic Firearms

 

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau Castro channeled his inner Castro as his fascist government announced a statewide ban on the sale, purchase, and transfer of handguns effective immediately last October.

 

Canadians cannot also bring newly acquired handguns into the country.

 

The nationwide ban was initially declared in May 2022 alongside Bill C-21, which is currently being debated in the Canadian Parliament.

 

“In May, our government introduced measures to implement a national freeze on handgun ownership. Today, our national freeze on handguns is coming into force. From today forward, it is no longer legal to buy, sell, or transfer a handgun in Canada,” Trudeau said during the press conference.

 

“We have frozen the market for handguns in this country, and our ban on imports that took effect in August remains in place. This is one of the strongest actions we’ve taken on gun violence in a generation,” he added.

In September, Nuzhin appeared in a video interview with Ukrainian journalist Yuri Butusov in which he said he was a convicted murderer who was recruited in jail by the Vagner group and criticized Russia's war against Ukraine.

Blaming ‘Libs of TikTok’ for a deranged murderer’s actions is shameless politicization

 

Almost as repugnant as the deadly attacks that are occurring with alarming frequency in the United States is the speed with which certain individuals rush to politicize them. The Club Q massacre in Colorado Springs, which left five dead and 18 injured, was certainly no exception.

 

The Democrats’ reaction kicked off with predictable calls for gun control. In this particular tragedy, however, the killer, 22-year-old Andersen Lee Aldrich, should never have been allowed to buy a gun in the first place. Moreover, he should have been high on the FBI’s ‘person of interest’ radar.

 

A year-and-a-half before Aldrich went on his deadly shooting spree, this troubled young man (who, according to court documents, has now started to identify as non-binary and use the pronouns them/they) threatened his family with a homemade bomb, forcing neighbors to evacuate while police talked him into surrendering. Yet, despite this, the district attorney of Colorado, Michael J. Allen, not only refused to press charges, but did not impose Colorado’s red-flag laws, which would have prevented Aldrich from purchasing a firearm. Had the Democratic-run state of Colorado enforced its own laws, five people might still be alive today.

 

Perhaps sensing the weakness of their anti-gun position, the Democrats rushed to politicize the tragedy by blaming conservative figures for instigating the violence.

 

Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez chastised her Republican colleague Representative Lauren Boebert in the wake of the tragedy for “elevating anti LGBT hate rhetoric and anti-trans lies,” while MSNBC reporter Brandy Zadrozny took aim at a popular Twitter account for merely pointing out what is becoming increasingly clear to many Americans.

 

“Online… this Libs of TikTok account, which feeds larger media like Fox News stories, what has happened is the demonization of LGBTQ people, calling them ‘groomers’ and ‘pedophiles,’” remarked Zadrozny. “This type of thing, whether it’s motive or not, what we know is that it’s just another reason why LGBTQ people are scared.”

 

Yet the goal of voices like Libs of TikTok, which uses actual progressive sources, is not “the demonization of LGBTQ people,” as Zadrozny argues, but rather to shine a spotlight on an issue that many millions of people view as a serious problem. A recent poll showed that 57% of Americans support a ban on teaching young children about sexual orientation and transgender issues in public schools.

 

Meanwhile, it does not require much digging to see that the sexualization of children is really happening. Consider a recent advertising campaign by the famous fashion house, Balenciaga.

 

The photo shoot features a very young girl holding a teddy bear that is dressed up in a bondage outfit. Another picture in the series displays a Balenciaga bag on top of a sheaf of documents, one of which appears to reference the 2002 US Supreme Court case “Ashcroft vs Free Speech Coalition,” which struck down some provisions in an anti-child pornography law. The paper wasn't featured prominently, but it's hard to imagine it ended up there by accident.

Belgium captain Eden Hazard has echoed FIFA’s plea to focus on the football in Qatar

 

Belgium forward Eden Hazard has spoken out against Germany’s protest against FIFA which took place prior to their shock 2-1 World Cup defeat to Japan on Wednesday.

 

Germany’s players, the German FA (DFB) later explained, took it upon themselves to express their dissatisfaction at the FIFA mandate which stated that any players who wore anti-discrimination ‘One Love’ armbands during World Cup matches were liable for sanctions, including immediate yellow cards.

 

FIFA’s stance is that it believes politics and sport should be kept separate, though world football’s governing body did institute its own ‘No Discrimination’ campaign and provided players with the option of wearing armbands featuring various messages supporting human rights which had been approved by football chiefs.

 

The ‘One Love’ armband is designed to highlight instances of human rights abuses and discrimination in the Gulf state in which homosexuality remains illegal.

 

The German national team responded to the furore by covering their mouths during the team's official photograph, with boss Hansi Flack later explaining that the move was designed to express their belief that FIFA are “silencing” them.

 

Hazard, though, who captained Belgium to a 1-0 win against Canada in their debut match in Qatar, addressed the issue after the final whistle and said that he did not wish to participate in the situation because he felt that receiving a yellow card for such an act of defiance would have been “annoying.”

 

“Afterwards they [Germany] lost the match,” the Real Madrid player told RMC Sport.

 

“They would have done better not to do it and to win. We are here to play football, I am not here to send a political message, people are better placed for that. We want to be focused on football.”

 

The ‘One Love’ armband issue has been something of a thorn in FIFA’s side throughout the early days of the World Cup. Several European international teams had openly stated their desire to participate in the demonstration before the FIFA crackdown.

 

However, the protest has since seemed to have been transplanted from dressing rooms to government buildings, with various European dignitaries appearing to defy FIFA by sporting rainbow-colored clothing while attending games in Qatar.

 

“I’m not comfortable talking about it because I’m here to play football,” Hazard continued.

Perhaps the most revolting antic was by a so-called teacher in Ontario, Canada. This person wore massive set of fake boobs to class in front of underage students while teaching them how to operate a circular saw. Jim Hoft wrote about this incident back in September. The school ended up taking no action against the teacher, despite the ensuing outrage, claiming any punishment would prove “discriminatory.” The children continue to suffer in silence while the teacher has his fun.

 

A unified GOP on this matter is the only hope for resolving this madness in America. But for every patriot like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, we have eunuchs such as RINO Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson. People like Hutchinson are the best friends of woke teachers and Weingarten.

 

Pompeo was correct to call out this disgusting moral decay and state Republicans must use the force of government stamp this garbage out of society as they did in Florida. If not, America will have a generation of confused and damaged children.

Pope Fires Entire Leadership From Global Catholic Charity Amid Harrassment Allegations

 

In a resounding decree released on Tuesday, Pope Francis sacked all leaders of the Caritas Internationalis charity, appointing a temporary Vatican administrator to head the confederation of 162 Catholic relief, development, and social service organizations operating in over 200 countries and territories worldwide.

 

According to Reuters, Pope Francis decided to sack the entire management of the charity following allegations of humiliation and harassment of staff at the organization’s headquarters in Rome. Several current and former charity employees spoke to the news agency, with one former employee saying that workers at the charity headquarters had suffered harassment, fear, and “ritual humiliation.”

 

At the same time, the Vatican’s dicastery for development, to which the charity is subordinate, announced that a comprehensive investigation had been carried out this year at the charity’s headquarters, involving external management and psychological experts. The investigation concluded that there was indeed a basis for the above reports, read the Vatican’s press release.

 

It added, however, that there was no evidence that financial abuse or sexual harassment had taken place, but identified a number of problems that “require immediate action.” They said these failures were mainly in the area of corporate management and procedures, and had a negative impact on staff team spirit and morale.

 

The papal decision was also followed by the resignation of Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, often referred to in the press as ‘Francis of Asia,’ who was nominally the president of the charity but was not involved in the day-to-day running of the organization. The Filipino cardinal has been seen by some as a possible successor to Pope Francis.

 

Tagle will, however, retain his main ecclesiastical post and will remain head of the Dicastery for Evangelisation within the Catholic Church, responsible for the management of missionaries.

 

Reuters also noted that apart from the cardinal and one other priest, all the heads of the international charity were non-clerical.

Following growing tensions between Italy and France over the issue of boat migrants in the Mediterranean, French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin has resorted to extremely harsh rhetoric, referring to the Italian government as “enemies of France.”

 

Darmanin made the comment in response to a question from a National Rally MP Mathilde Paris during a Q&A session in the French parliament, saying Italy is “attacking France.”

 

Paris was inquiring why the majority of the migrants aboard the Ocean Viking ship, which France allowed to dock, have been released from the administrative center housing them, despite the minister’s previous assurances that “(they) will not be able to leave the administrative center.” Instead of addressing the question, Darmanin claimed she was an “ally” of the “enemies” of France.

USDA Blames Russia for High Price of Your Thanksgiving Dinner

The Department of Agriculture says Russia’s ongoing war in Ukraine is one reason why your Thanksgiving dinner costs more than it did last year.

 

A USDA memo this month said turkey prices will be higher because of this year’s outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI), which led to the death of 8 million turkeys in 2022. But USDA also said "Russia’s war on Ukraine and drought across the United States" are other factors that are "pushing up the price of Thanksgiving staples."

 

USDA told Fox News Digital that both the COVID pandemic and "Putin's Price Hike" have boosted food prices around the world, and said Russia's move against Ukraine cut off a "critical supply" of wheat, corn, barley and other grain. Russia's war in Ukraine plus the pandemic have putt "pressure on food prices," USDA said.

 

President Biden and his administration have often blamed Russia for the broad increase in inflation and has referred to higher food and energy prices as "Putin’s price hike."

 

The Biden administration’s own data, however, shows that inflation began ratcheting up almost immediately after Biden took office in February 2021.

 

Just before Russia invaded Ukraine in late February 2022, the Biden administration reported that consumer prices were up 7.5% in the year ending in January 2022, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Inflation would rise as high as 9.1% in the year ending June 2022, but sharp increases were seen well before Russia invaded Ukraine.

 

Ukraine is a major grain exporter, and Russia’s effort to block those exports has led to price spikes. But again, feed grain prices were rising along with the prices of many other commodities before Russia’s invasion.

 

USDA's memo said the Biden administration has made progress fighting higher prices at the grocery store by noting that the 0.4% increase in grocery prices in October was the "smallest increase since December of last year."

 

That memo also downplayed the impact that inflation is having on the cost of Thanksgiving dinner compared to non-government estimates. It said the average cost of Thanksgiving retail staples like a fresh turkey, sweet potatoes, cranberries and green beans will only cost about 1% more this year compared to last year, and that substituting in a frozen turkey means a 6% increase.

 

But the American Farm Bureau Federation says the average cost of a Thanksgiving dinner is up 20% compared to last year. The cost of stuffing mix, frozen pie crusts, whipping cream, frozen peas and dinner rolls have all increased by more than 20%, the Farm Bureau said.

 

While those prices may remain high throughout the holiday, turkey prices seen in stores haven’t increased as much. Beth Breeding, vice president of communications and marketing at the National Turkey Federation, said grocery stores typically lower turkey prices closer to Thanksgiving and use turkeys as loss-leaders to bring in customers.

 

Still, she said prices seen in actual stores in the days before Thanksgiving are higher than they were last year and rose from about 93 cents a pound to $1 a pound, an increase of about 7%.

 

Breeding and USDA said that despite this year’s bout of bird flu, there are still plenty of turkeys for people to buy for Thanksgiving. Breeding said about 40 million turkeys will be consumed over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Illinois grandparents die in plane crash en route to celebrate Thanksgiving

 

Family and friends in a small Illinois town are mourning the loss of two grandparents who perished in a plane crash while traveling for Thanksgiving.

 

Joseph and Patty Kreher, of Freeburg, Illinois, died Saturday when their small, twin-engine Piper PA-30 aircraft crashed in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, at around 11:15 a.m. The couple had taken off from the St. Louis Downtown Airport in Cahokia, made a stop in London, Kentucky, and then crashed near an airport in Winston-Salem, KSDK-TV reported.

 

Authorities with the National Safety Transportation Board are investigating the cause of the crash. Air Safety Investigator Pete Wentz told the local news station the pilot had communicated to the airport radio tower that there was a problem before the plane went down.

 

“The pilot communicated saying he needed to circle the airport for a second attempt and during the circling maneuver, the airplane lost control and impacted the ground,” Wetnz said.

 

While the investigation is ongoing, the town of Freeburg is mourning the loss of their neighbors.

 

“It’s just going to be hard for everyone that knew Joe and Patty,” Freeburg Mayor Seth Speiser told KSDK.

 

The couple was well-known and liked among the town of 4,500.

Mexican Military Intel Leak: 30 Mayors from One State Tied to Cartels

 

Nearly 30 mayors from the western Mexican state of Michoacan are named as cartel collaborators in a military intelligence brief. The report was one of thousands of documents released by hacktivists last month as part of a Mexican Army data breach known as the Guacamaya Leaks.

 

The report was drafted for the Mexican Army by the National Intelligence Center (CNI) on September 13, 2021. The report identifies 29 mayors from Michoacan who are linked to cartels. According to Rio Doce, some of the politicians’ connections include campaign funding.

 

The cartels listed in relation to mayor ties are Cartel Jalisco New Generation (CJNG) with 18; La Familia Michoacana Cartel with nine; and, Carteles Unidos with two. The military report also noted that La Familia was preparing to add 10 new mayors.

 

Several politicians listed became the subject of scandals and cartel attacks in the months following.

 

Not listed in the report is the current governor of Michoacan, Alfredo Ramirez Bedolla, who is the nephew of a top drug lord with Carteles Unidos.

 

In August 2022, authorities in Laredo, Texas, arrested Yeishi Moriya, the daughter of Tacambaro Mayor Artemio Moriya, an ally of CJNG. Yeishi was trying to cross into Mexico with $250,000 cash and two pistols.

 

According to Rio Doce, unknown gunmen kidnapped and killed Contepec Mayor Enrique Valdez Orozco five months after taking office.

 

On May 31, 2021, gunmen attacked Cuitzeo Mayor Rosa Elia Millan as she was returning to her home. While Millan survived, her husband died. The military document listed her as being an ally of CJNG.

 

Several other mayors in Michoacan have been targeted and killed by gunmen in connection with cartel disputes over control of the state’s drug production and shipping areas.

A Case Report: Multifocal Necrotizing Encephalitis and Myocarditis After mRNA Vaccination Against COVID-19

 

Abstract

The current report presents the case of a 76-year-old man with Parkinson’s disease (PD) who died three weeks after receiving his third COVID-19 vaccination. The patient was first vaccinated in May 2021 with the ChAdOx1 nCov-19 vector vaccine, followed by two doses of the BNT162b2 mRNA vaccine in July and December 2021. The family of the deceased requested an autopsy due to ambiguous clinical signs before death. PD was confirmed by post-mortem examinations. Furthermore, signs of aspiration pneumonia and systemic arteriosclerosis were evident. However, histopathological analyses of the brain uncovered previously unsuspected findings, including acute vasculitis (predominantly lymphocytic) as well as multifocal necrotizing encephalitis of unknown etiology with pronounced inflammation including glial and lymphocytic reaction. In the heart, signs of chronic cardiomyopathy as well as mild acute lympho-histiocytic myocarditis and vasculitis were present. Although there was no history of COVID-19 for this patient, immunohistochemistry for SARS-CoV-2 antigens (spike and nucleocapsid proteins) was performed. Surprisingly, only spike protein but no nucleocapsid protein could be detected within the foci of inflammation in both the brain and the heart, particularly in the endothelial cells of small blood vessels. Since no nucleocapsid protein could be detected, the presence of spike protein must be ascribed to vaccination rather than to viral infection. The findings corroborate previous reports of encephalitis and myocarditis caused by gene-based COVID-19 vaccines.

I'm not going to stop asking or digging. The best I've been able to find is vitamin D and omega 3's as they help get rid of amyloid plaques in the brain, but I can't seem to find anything for the fiberous blood "clots" from the shots. Certainly there have to be enzymes that can break these down, in the blood and organs. Possibly digging on what types of stents they aren't able to use during surgery because they would get broken down would tell us what kind of enzymes break down foreign objects/plastic in the body. How does one detox graphine oxide? Heavy metals?

Robots authorized to kill in San Francisco police draft policy

 

A policy proposal that is heading for Board of Supervisors approval next week would explicitly authorize San Francisco police to kill suspects using robots.

 

The new policy, which defines how the SFPD is allowed to use its military-style weapons, was put together by the police department. Over the past several weeks, it has been scrutinized by supervisors Aaron Peskin, Rafael Mandelman, and Connie Chan, who together comprise the Board of Supervisors Rules Committee.

 

The draft policy has faced criticism from advocates for its language on robot force, as well as for excluding hundreds of assault rifles from its inventory of military-style weapons and for not including personnel costs in the price of its weapons.

 

Peskin, chair of the committee, initially attempted to limit the SFPD’s authority over the department’s robots by inserting the sentence, “Robots shall not be used as a Use of Force against any person.”

 

The following week, the police struck out his suggestion with a thick red line.

 

It was replaced by language that codifies the department’s authority to use lethal force via robots: “Robots will only be used as a deadly force option when risk of loss of life to members of the public or officers are imminent and outweigh any other force option available to SFPD.”

 

This could mark a legal Rubicon for the city: robot use-of-force has never before been either approved or prohibited in San Francisco. A version of this draft policy was unanimously accepted by the rules committee last week and will come before the full board on Nov. 29.

 

“The original policy they submitted was actually silent on whether robots could deploy lethal force,” said Peskin. He added that he decided to approve of the SFPD’s caveated guidelines because the department had made the case that “there could be scenarios where deployment of lethal force was the only option.”

A court in the eastern Indian city of Ranchi sent a Missionaries of Charity nun to 14 days of judicial custody on July 5 after she was arrested on charges of child trafficking.

 

The nun, identified only as Concilia, was detained on July 4 with another nun from the congregation, set up by Mother Teresa, for questioning following complaints that babies had been sold to childless couples.

 

They are from the Nirmal Hriday (Tender Heart) home for unmarried mothers. A women staff member, Anima Indwar, was also arrested. However, police have released the second nun.

 

Police maintained that Jharkhand state’s Child Welfare Committee came to suspect that the charity home was involved in the illegal trading of children after a couple complained they were not given a child despite paying 120,000 rupees (US$1,850) as an adoption fee.

 

Police said they recovered 65,000 rupees in cash from Indwar that they suspected was part of the amount paid by the couple, Saurabh Kumar Agrawal and his wife Preeti Agrawal from Uttar Pradesh.

 

The couple came into contact with Anima through a relative in Ranchi before handing over the money, The New Indian Express reported.

 

Missionaries of Charity Superior General Sister Prema, in an official statement, expressed shock over the allegations and the police response but added: “We are carefully looking into this matter.”

 

Congregation spokesperson Sunita Kumar said the home was for unwed mothers and did not put children up for adoption as every child there was taken care of.

 

The congregation is examining the system to make sure that such complaints do not arise in the future, she added.

 

The charity home is part of the mission for children and unwed mothers of the Missionaries of Charity founded by St. Teresa of Kolkota in 1950.

 

The pro-Hindu Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) runs the government in Jharkhand state, where Christians accuse some Hindu groups of targeting Christians with tacit approval of the administration.

 

Some Christians view the arrest of the two nuns as being aimed at tarnishing the reputation of the church.

Employees complained Foxconn Technology Group changed the terms of wages offered to attract them to the factory in the central city of Zhengzhou. Foxconn is trying to rebuild the workforce after employees walked out last month over complaints about unsafe conditions.

 

Videos on social media showed police in white protective suits kicking and clubbing workers during the protest that erupted Tuesday and lasted into the next day.

US Announces $400 Million Weapons Package for Ukraine

 

The Pentagon says the US has pledged over $19 billion in arms for Ukraine since Russia invaded

 

The Pentagon announced on Wednesday a new $400 million weapons package for Ukraine, marking the 26th drawdown of equipment from US military stockpiles for the Ukrainians.

 

The package includes heavy machine guns meant to counter drones, ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), and munitions for National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (NASMS), an air defense system the US just began delivering to Ukraine.

 

According to the Pentagon, the package includes:

 

Additional munitions for NASMS

150 heavy machine guns with thermal imagery sights to counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)

Additional ammunition for HIMARS

200 precision-guided 155mm artillery rounds

10,000 120mm mortar rounds

High-speed Anti-radiation missiles (HARMs)

150 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWVs)

Over 100 light tactical vehicles

Over 20,000,000 rounds of small arms ammunition

Over 200 generators

Spare parts for 105mm Howitzers and other equipment

 

The $400 million is being sent to Ukraine through the Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA), which allows President Biden to send arms straight from US military stockpiles. According to the Pentagon, the US has pledged over $19 billion in military equipment for Ukraine since Russia invaded. That includes arms shipped using the PDA and equipment the US has said it will purchase for Kyiv, which takes longer to deliver.

 

Aid for Ukraine is still being pulled from the previous package that was approved in September. So far, the US has authorized about $67 billion in spending on the war, and the White House is asking Congress to approve a new massive aid package worth $37.7 billion.

 

The Pentagon on Wednesday also released a fact sheet detailing all of the arms the US has committed to Ukraine. The Biden administration is still holding out on some of the longer-range weapons Kyiv seeks over concerns of escalation.

Russian Strikes on Energy Infrastructure Leave Most of Ukraine Without Power

 

Ukraine told its Western backers last week that it might not be able to recover from more strikes on its power grid

 

Russian missiles pounded energy infrastructure across Ukraine again on Wednesday, leaving most Ukrainians without power, according to the country’s Energy Ministry.

 

“Today’s missile attack led to a temporary blackout of all nuclear, most thermal, and hydroelectric power plants. Power transmission facilities were also hit,” the Ukrainian Energy Ministry said, according to Interfax Ukraine.

 

The ministry said that as a result, the “vast majority” of electricity consumers in Ukraine are facing outages and emergency blackouts. It said that work was being done to repair the blackouts but said that it will take time.

 

Moldova also experienced blackouts as a result of the strikes, as much of its energy infrastructure is connected with Ukraine’s. “We have massive power outages across the country,” said Moldova’s Infrastructure Minister Andrei Spinu, according to The Associated Press.

 

Last week, Ukraine’s prime minister said Russian missile strikes across Ukraine disabled nearly half of the country’s energy infrastructure, and Kyiv reportedly told its Western backers that it might not be able to recover from more Russian strikes on the power grid.

 

Russia had previously avoided the large-scale targeting of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure but began employing the tactic in October after the truck bombing of the Kerch Bridge, which connects Crimea to the Russian mainland.

House GOP plans to turn tables from Trump tax return fight, track Hunter Biden's money to father

 

Fight for secret bank records aims to compare payments to presidential son from foreign interest to benefits to Joe Biden, key investigator says.

 

Still smarting from Democrats' protracted fight to get Donald Trump's private tax records, House Republicans are planning to turn the tables and fight for secret bank records showing the timing of suspicious foreign payments to Hunter Biden in hopes of determining if any such proceeds made their way to President Joe Biden.

 

Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), the incoming chairman of the House Oversight Committee, told Just the News that fighting the Biden administration for access to some 150 Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) filed by banks concerning Hunter Biden's financial transactions would allow investigators to determine to what extent, if any, Joe Biden benefited from his son's foreign influence peddling.

 

"This isn't a fishing expedition," Comer told the John Solomon Reports podcast this week. "We have every reason to believe that Hunter Biden was paying for living expenses for Joe Biden, a significant amount of living expenses. And we want to verify that."

 

Comer said the pursuit is ripped from the Democrats' playbook.

 

"The Democrats have set a precedent on this," he explained. "They filed suit forcing former President Trump to have to turn over his tax records. So the Democrats have already set a precedent for bank records and tax records."

 

Comer said he expects a fight from the Biden administration, which he said is now claiming SARs are exempt from congressional oversight. He is ready to use subpoenas to force the issue.

 

"When the White House will inevitably say, 'Well, Joe Biden wasn't benefiting from Hunter's shady business dealings,' there's gonna be a little 'Wait a minute now, who was paying for this, and who was paying for that? How did the President afford this? Who paid for that?'" he explained. "And that's why we need the bank records."

 

Just the News reported in April that emails on a Hunter Biden laptop seized by the FBI show Joe Biden was more involved in Hunter Biden's financial and business dealings than previously acknowledged and that the two commingled their finances at times.

 

For instance, the president allowed his son to pay some of his bills, diverted one of his tax refunds to Hunter, rubbed elbows with the first son's foreign clients and even directly referred a friend who wanted to "do some work" with his son.

 

A string of spring and summer 2010 emails, for example, show Hunter Biden and a partner at his Rosemont Seneca firm assisted the White House with documents for then-Vice President Joe Biden's tax returns after his first year in office. Afterwards, they chose to divert Joe Biden's Delaware state tax refund to Hunter Biden to pay off money the father owed his son, the emails state.

WEF’s Klaus Schwab Says China Will Be a ‘Role Model’ in the ‘Systemic Transformation’ of the World

 

The World Economic Forum’s Klaus Schwab proclaimed that Communist China will likely serve as a “role model” for many countries as the global community embarks upon a “systemic transformation of the world”.

 

In an interview with the Chinese state-run television network CGTN, World Economic Forum (WEF) chairman and founder Klaus Schwab heaped praise on the communist government in Beijing for being a leading figure in his vision of a Great Reset of capitalism to usher in the “world of tomorrow”.

 

“I respect China’s achievements, which are tremendous over the last over 40 years, I think it’s a role model for many countries,” the Davos chief said, adding that while he believes countries should be able to choose the system they prefer to live under, the “Chinese model is certainly a very attractive model for quite a number of countries.”

 

“I look very much forward to having a strong Chinese voice in Davos to explain even better to the world what it means to see the party Congress which laid down the principles of the policy [and] what it really means for global collaboration and for global development,” Schwab added.

 

He concluded by saying that he has taken “great satisfaction” in seeing the European Union become more “unified” in its thinking following the Chinese virus and the war in Ukraine and that this could lead to deeper ties between Brussels and Beijing.

 

“I’m very pleased that we speak not only about Chinese-U.S. relations but also again about European-Chinese relations, and I feel despite all the question marks and to a certain extent cautious approach which we see in Europe, I think that very close ties can be established again between China and Europe because there’s such an interwoven economy.”

 

The comments from the WEF boss followed his attendance at the G20 summit last week in Indonesia, in which Chinese President Xi Jinping finally met with Western leaders after a hiatus in direct contact following the outbreak of the Wuhan virus. At the meeting, world leaders agreed to seek to expand the health security state at the international level.

 

“We support continued international dialogue and collaboration on the establishment of trusted global digital health networks as part of the efforts to strengthen prevention and response to future pandemics, that should capitalize and build on the success of the existing standards and digital COVID-19 certificates,” the leaders of the G2o nations said in a joint statement.

 

Though Schwab praised the summit coming to a statement of agreement, he called for more action, saying: “We have to go one step further, we have to have a strategic mood, we have to construct the world of tomorrow. It’s a systemic transformation of the world, so we have to define how the world should look like when we come out of this transformation period.”

 

China has been at the forefront of implementing a bio-security state since the outbreak of the coronavirus, implementing one of the first vaccine passport apps in the world in March of 2021, after previously imposing a mandatory health mobile phone application, which in addition to sharing health status of individuals with the government also allegedly shared other data collected with police.

 

China also seems to be in broad agreement with the World Economic Forum on using the issue of climate change to usher in radical changes.

 

For example, at this year’s WEF summit in Davos, the president of the Alibaba Group Chinese tech giant, J. Michael Evans said the firm, which like all other companies in Communist China is closely linked to the state, will be seeking to implement an “individual carbon footprint tracker” to monitor the behaviour of individuals in terms of their supposed environmental impact.

 

“We are developing through technology the ability for consumers to measure their own carbon footprint… where are they travelling, how are they travelling, what are they eating, what are they consuming on the platform,” Evans said.

Secret CDC Report reveals at least 1.1 Million Americans have ‘Died Suddenly’ since the COVID Vaccine roll-out & another Government Report proves the COVID Vaccines are to blame

 

The Covid-19 injections were meant to reduce the sudden surge of deaths the USA recorded in 2020 due to the alleged Covid-19 pandemic. But unfortunately, the official figures prove that the opposite has happened.

 

Official reports quietly published by the United States Centers for Disease Control (CDC) confirm that over 6 million Americans have died ever since the U.S. Food & Drug Administration granted emergency use authorisation to a Covid-19 vaccine in December 2020; with 2021 being a record-breaking year for deaths.

 

This sadly means that at least 1.1 million Americans may have ‘died suddenly’ during this time frame because according to the CDC reports there have been 1,106,079 excess deaths compared to the 2015-2019 five-year average.

 

And with further official Government figures confirming that mortality rates per 100,000 are highest among the vaccinated population in every single age group, it would appear Covid-19 vaccination is almost entirely to blame.

 

Compared to other countries, the U.S. Government has been terrible at publishing relevant and up-to-date data allowing us to analyse the consequences of rolling out the Covid-19 injections. However, we have finally managed to stumble upon it thanks to an institution known as the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OEC).

 

The OEC is an intergovernmental organisation with 38 member countries founded in 1961 to stimulate economic progress and world trade. And for some reason, they host a wealth of data on excess deaths. You can find that data for yourself here.

 

The following chart has been created using the figures found in the OEC database. Figures that have been provided to the OEC by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC). And it shows excess deaths across the USA by week in 2022 up to week 38 (25th September).

 

According to the CDC, by week 52 of 2020, America had suffered 3,355,807 deaths. But the following year, in 2021, the CDC confirms that America suffered 3,457,518 deaths.

 

This means 101,711 more people died in 2021 following the Covid-19 vaccine roll-out than they did in 2020 prior to the Covid-19 vaccine roll-out.

 

It also means America suffered 674,951 excess deaths in 2021 compared to the 2015-2019 five-year average.

 

The first Covid-19 injection was administered in the USA on December 14th 2020, and according to the quietly published figures provided by the CDC, 6,090,716 Americans sadly lost their lives after this date up until week 38 of 2022.

Musk to Release Twitter Internal Discussions on Censoring Hunter Biden Laptop Story

 

Late on Wednesday, Elon Musk said it is “essential” to release internal communications regarding Twitter’s censoring of the New York Post exposé on Hunter Biden’s laptop before the 2020 election.

 

Weeks before the 2020 presidential election, the New York Post‘s Twitter account was suspended over its bombshell report detailing the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop. Hunter had left the laptop unclaimed at a Delaware computer repair shop. Not only did Twitter lock out the Post’s account, it censored the story, preventing it from being shared on their platform, claiming it fell under their policy not to allow for the distribution of “hacked materials.”

 

A Twitter user called on Twitter CEO Elon Musk to release the details of the company’s internal discussions “in the interest of transparency,” and Musk agreed, saying such a move “is necessary to restore public trust.”

 

It wasn’t until well after the 2020 election that the mainstream media eventually conceded that the laptop was authentic.

 

This should get interesting. I suspect that if the communications have been destroyed by BleachBit Musk will release them.

Action against criminal website that offered ‘spoofing’ services to fraudsters: 142 arrests

 

Judicial and law enforcement authorities in Europe, Australia, the United States, Ukraine, and Canada have taken down a website that allowed fraudsters to impersonate trusted corporations or contacts to access sensitive information from victims, a type of cybercrime known as ‘spoofing’. The website is believed to have caused an estimated worldwide loss in excess of GBP 100 million (EUR 115 million).

 

In a coordinated action led by the United Kingdom and supported by Europol and Eurojust, 142 suspects have been arrested, including the main administrator of the website.

 

London’s Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley stated:

 

The exploitation of technology by organised criminals is one of the greatest challenges for law enforcement in the 21st century. Together with the support of partners across UK policing and internationally, we are reinventing the way fraud is investigated. The Met is targeting the criminals at the centre of these illicit webs that cause misery to thousands. By taking away the tools and systems that have enabled fraudsters to cheat innocent people at scale, this operation shows how we are determined to target corrupt individuals intent on exploiting often vulnerable people.

 

Eurojust President Mr Ladislav Hamran said:

 

As cybercrime knows no borders, effective judicial cooperation across jurisdictions is key in bringing its perpetrators to court. Eurojust supports national authorities in their efforts to protect citizens against online and offline threats, and to help see that justice gets done.

 

Europol’s Executive Director Ms Catherine De Bolle said:

 

The arrests today send a message to cybercriminals that they can no longer hide behind perceived international anonymity. Europol coordinated the law enforcement community, enriched the information picture and brought criminal intelligence into ongoing operations to target the criminals wherever they are located. Together with our international partners, we will continue to relentlessly push the envelope to bring criminals to justice.

 

The services of the website allowed those who sign up and pay for the service to anonymously make spoofed calls, send recorded messages, and intercept one-time passwords. The users were able to impersonate an infinite number of entities (such as banks, retail companies and government institutions) for financial gain and substantial losses to victims.

 

The investigations showed that the website has earned over EUR 3.7 million in 16 months. According to UK authorities, losses to victims at present are GBP 43 million (EUR 49 million), with estimated worldwide losses in excess of GBP 100 million (EUR 115 million).

 

In an international coordinated action carried out in November 2022, 142 users and administrators of the website were arrested across the world. The main administrator of the website was arrested in the UK on 6 November.

On 8 November 2022, the website and server was seized and taken offline by US and Ukrainian authorities.

 

The case was opened at Eurojust in October 2021 at the request of the UK authorities. National authorities from ten countries, including European Union Member States and third countries, supported the investigation. The Agency played a key role in facilitating the judicial cross-border cooperation among all parties involved. Two coordination meetings were hosted by Eurojust to coordinate the national investigations and to prepare for the action.

 

On a request of the United Kingdom, Europol started supporting the case earlier that same summer (August 2021). Since then, Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) has been providing continuous intelligence development to the national investigators through the Joint Cybercrime Action Taskforce (J-CAT). In addition, EC3 provided a secure platform for law enforcement to exchange large packages of evidence. In the framework of its analytical work, Europol was able to identify additional users of the iSpoof service, a number of which were already known for their involvement in other high-profile cybercrime investigations at the European level.

Trump Issues Executive Orders To Slash Insulin, EpiPen Prices; End ‘Global Freeloading’

President Donald Trump signed four executive orders on Friday designed to significantly lower prescription drug prices for Americans, including insulin and epinephrine.

 

The directives to the secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) will “[e]nd a shadowy system of kickbacks by middlemen that lurks behind the high out-of-pocket costs many Americans face at the pharmacy counter,” the department announced Friday, and said they will provide Americans more options on purchasing the drugs.

 

During the signing ceremony on Friday, the president said that the high price of insulin and EpiPens have cut off low-income people in “desperate” need of the treatments.

 

“The four orders I’m signing today will be on the prescription drug market in terms of pricing and everything else to make these medications affordable and accessible for all Americans,” said Trump, surrounded by health care professionals. “The first order will require federal community health centers to pass the giant discounts they received from drug companies on insulin and EpiPens directly to their patients. You know insulin became so expensive people weren’t able to use it. They desperately needed it.”

 

“We have it to a level that you’re not going to believe,” he continued. “EpiPens — likewise you have been hearing horrible stories about EpiPens over the last six or seven years, horrible, horrible, horrible increases for where they went to almost nothing to massive amounts of money. We’re changing that right now.”

Biden Administration Rescinds Trump Administration Insulin Pricing Rule

One of the final healthcare actions made by the Trump Administration has been rescinded by the Biden Administration. On December 23, 2020, the Trump Administration finalized a rule that directed the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to take action to require that federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) make insulin and injectable epinephrine available to certain patients at 340B prices. The Biden Administration delayed the rule twice before it became effective on July 20, 2021, and the first opportunity for HHS to impose the requirements of the rule would have been through grants awarded in fiscal year 2022. So, while the rule has been in effect since July, it has yet to be implemented.

 

In the Federal Register notice rescinding the rule, HHS noted that the rule would have resulted in “excessive administrative costs and burdens” on health centers. Specifically, the agency took issue with the requirement that health centers would need to create and maintain new practices to determine patients’ eligibility to receive drugs at or below the discounted price paid by the health center, plus a minimal fee. HHS also noted its belief that the implementation of the Rule would have resulted in “reduced resources available to support critical services to health center patients – including those who use insulin and injectable epinephrine.

 

HHS further acknowledged concerns expressed “by the vast majority of commenters” that the “low income” definition of 350% of the federal poverty level would have “created significant administrative challenges for health centers” and that those challenges would have resulted in a diversion of resources from patient care in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
