German law enforcement has cracked down on an armed group that was allegedly plotting to seize power

 

German authorities have arrested dozens of persons who were allegedly plotting to overthrow the country’s government. Birgit Malsack-Winkemann, a former representative of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party in the Bundestag, is reportedly among those taken into custody.

 

The Federal Public prosecutor’s Office charged some 50 individuals with a range of crimes related to the suspected plot, local media reported on Wednesday. The group was described as part of the β€œReich Citizens” movement, which rejects the legitimacy of the modern German state in favor of the government that existed between 1871 to 1918.

 

The plotters reportedly wanted to storm the parliament building and wage a campaign of sabotage, with the ultimate goal of seizing power. German prosecutors described the scale of the operation to apprehend them, which involved simultaneous execution of some 25 arrest warrants, as unprecedented in the country’s modern history.

 

They have identified the head of the would-be ruling council as β€œHeinrich XIII.” German media is reporting that the man is Heinrich Reuss, a scion of a noble family from Frankfurt am Main, who has a real estate business. Another suspected ringleader, named β€œRudiger v. P.” by the German authorities, was described as a former paratroop commander.

 

The AfD lawmaker, Malsack-Winkemann, served as an MP in the federal parliament between 2017 and 2021. The 58-year-old was supposed to become justice minister in the new regime, according to reports.

 

Malsack-Winkemann made headlines in Germany recently due to a failed attempt by a politician in Berlin to bar her from retaking the office of a district court judge in the German capital after her tenure as MP was over. The politician's request was denied in October.

 

The party reacted to the news about the raid in a short statement, condemning the alleged plot and expressing confidence in the ability of the authorities to get to the bottom of the situation. Like most other people in Germany, party members learned about the alleged conspiracy from the media, AfD said.

Bali bomb maker released from jail early

 

The main bomb maker in the 2002 Bali bombings has been released early from jail in Indonesia.

 

Umar Patek served 12 years of his 20-year sentence for his role in the attack which killed 202 people.

 

He has been granted parole after completing a deradicalisation program.

With the GOP in control of the House, we may finally get some answers on what happened in Afghanistan.

 

According to anΒ Axios report, House Republicans are officially launching an investigation into Joe Biden’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal that leftΒ 13 Americans and roughly 200 Afghans dead.

Researchers hope to create a system that can help bolster future rooftop farm installations.

The CO2-filled air in busy classrooms at Boston University was recently put to good useβ€”as fertilizer for a rooftop garden, as part of a scientific study. Researchers repurposed the CO2 coming from a campus building’s exhaust to help grow plants in the experimental BIG GRO rooftop garden and found that spinach, in some cases, quadrupled in size compared to a nearby control group.

This would include all requests and/or actions taken to ban, suspend, shadowban, etc., the person's account and any requests for information about the account.

 

As transparency and a commitment to free speech in the virtual "public square" is allegedly Elon Musk's stated vision for Twitter, and also the primary reason he bought the company, and in consideration of the vile way the platform has been used to censor critics of the Deep State/Globalist/NWO/Uniparty and its narratives, and to manipulate public opinion, condition and brainwash the people of the World using its 10, 100 million "bot army" of fake account holders employing the most despicable psychological weapon of "Mass Formation", the best good faith move Elon Musk and Twitter could make would be creating a dedicated department to formally respond to every past and current account holder's request for information.

 

Twitter would formally treat all requests much the same manner as documents are furnished to citizens under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). All requests would be logged with an identifier and an immediate response would be given confirming the request noting its identification number and an expected response date.

 

Though such a department might appear burdensome, it would go a long way towards proving that Elon Musk is truly a man of his word and help Twitter to recoup the massive amount of public trust lost in the Platform at the hands of some very malicious actors.

 

Elon and Twitter must also disclose ALL misinformation and disinformation operations it had been directed to assist in including all materials furnished by state, quasi-state and private actors such as Bill Gates, Grorge Soros, etc. or any groups or entities on behalf or associated with such individuals.

 

Last, Elon Musk and Twitter must disclose EVERYTHING about Musk's own investigation into Twitter's "bot account" program including each and every instance where it was decided to allocate "bots" to specific narratives, campaigns, opposition campaigns, etc.

U.S. military personnel who were discharged over their refusal to take a COVID-19 vaccine injection will not return to service after last minute additions to an upcoming defense bill attempted to scrap the mandate. The Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps have discharged at least 8,400 active duty and reserve troops for refusing to take the vaccine, which was mandated for active-duty personnel following a DOD order in August 2021.

 

Despite the massive concession, current House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has framed the legislation as a big win. β€œThe end of President Biden’s military COVID vaccine mandate is a victory for our military and for common sense,” McCarthy said in a statement. β€œLast week, I told the president directly: it’s time to end the COVID vaccine mandate and rehire our service members.”

House Republicans threatened to vote against the bill if the mandate was left in, though they ultimately made the heavy concession of not allowing previously discharged troops to return to their posts.

 

A top Marine Corps general recently suggested that the vaccine mandate is a driving factor behind the military’s recent recruiting woes, which has led to shortages of manpower across all branches. β€œWhere it is having an impact for sure is on recruiting, where in parts of the country there’s still myths and misbeliefs about the back story behind it,” Marine Corps Commandant Gen. David Berger said on Saturday.

Over the weekend, former Department of Justice lawyer Ken Klukowski called on the Jan. 6 Committee to release the full transcript of his deposition testimony to correct the lies they told about him to the American public. Now The Federalist has exclusively obtained a statement from a former White House staffer confirming Klukowski’s claims.

 

Last Thursday, the Jan. 6, 2021 show trial continued, with the Democrat-stacked committee presenting testimony concerning a draft letter Jeff Clark, a former assistant attorney general in the Department of Justice, proposed sending to the Georgia legislature.

 

That draft letter, dated December 28, 2020, stated the Department of Justice was investigating the 2020 election and recommended the Georgia legislature convene a special session to β€œevaluate the irregularities in the 2020 election including violations of Georgia election law,” and β€œdetermine whether those violations show which candidate for President won the most legal votes in the November 3 election.” The draft letter then suggested the General Assembly could appoint an alternative set of electors based on its findings.

 

The draft letter’s signature line included spaces for Clark, Acting Attorney General Jeffrey A. Rosen, and Acting Deputy Attorney General Richard Donoghue. But when Clark pitched the idea of sending the letter to Georgia officials, Rosen and Donoghue rejected the idea out of hand, because it was β€œnot the department’s role to suggest or dictate to state legislatures how they should select their electors,” and β€œfor the department to insert itself into the political process this way,” Donoghue told the committee, β€œmay very well have spiraled us into a constitutional crisis.”

 

Donoghue was blunter with Clark in person, with Donoghue testifying he told Clark, β€œWhat you are doing is nothing less than the United States Justice

Department meddling in the outcome of a presidential election.”

 

While last Thursday’s hearing by the Jan. 6 Committee centered on Clark and his efforts to have the letter sent to the Georgia legislature, the committee connected another DOJ attorney to Clark’s efforts, Klukowskiβ€”

and did so by blatantly lying to the American public.

 

The Jan. 6 Committee Is Lying

Klukowski called out the Jan. 6 Committee’s fraud over the weekend in a public statement that began: β€œThe January 6 Committee falsely accused me on Thursday of being a go-between in a conspiracy to overturn the 2020 election. That accusation is false both in its broad outlines and its details. Since the Committee first contacted me, I have cooperated without hesitation, provided it with hundreds of documents, and sat for many hours of recorded depositions. The information produced from those efforts fully contradicts the Committee’s statements regarding my actions, yet the Committee has chosen to keep such information to itself rather than share it with the public.”

 

The former DOJ lawyer then detailed in his public statement four false accusations levied against him by the Jan.6 Committee. First, Klukowski exposed Rep. Liz Cheney’s false portrayal of him as being sent by John Eastman to work under Clark. While Cheney fraudulently told the country that Klukowski β€œwas specifically assigned to work under Jeff Clark,” Klukowski provided the committee documents establishing that his transfer to β€œthe Civil Division of the DOJ was in the works since July 2020, long before Jeff Clark was the acting head of that Division.”

 

In an interview with The Federalist over the weekend, Klukowski stressed that during questioning by the Jan. 6 Committeeβ€”which exceeded more than 12 total hoursβ€”he made clear that he had been working on the transfer since mid-summer, hoping to move to the DOJ civil division to obtain more litigation experience, and that the transfer had been preliminarily approved in September 2020. Klukowski added that he also provided the committee detailed information that would allow them to confirm his testimony.

 

β€œI told the committee that I spoke with Camellia Delaplane, then a DOJ liaison to the White House who handled personnel placement, and provided the House Committee the date, September 10, 2020,” Klukowski told The Federalist. β€œI also suggested the committee review our email exchanges confirming my testimony, since they clearly had access to that information.”

Evidence Backs Up Klukowski’s Statements

Klukowski added that even before he met with Delaplane he sat down in July with the White House staffer responsible for coordinating senior DOJ appointments, Andrew Kloster.

 

Klukowski told The Federalist that he shared with Kloster his desire to move to the DOJ civil division.

 

When reached by telephone yesterday, Kloster confirmed these details, adding even more texture to Klukowski’s recollection of the meeting.

 

β€œAs a part of my oversight over the senior legal hires, I reached out to Ken, because I knew he had been one of our best at the Office of Management and Budget. Ken told me that he wanted to pivot to conservative public interest litigation, so rather than heading to be an agency deputy general counsel or general counsel in a Trump term two, I pushed to move him to DOJ’s Civil Division,” Kloster told The Federalist. Kloster added, β€œthat meant a lot of back end process that took time, including speaking with Klukowski’s boss, with other White House officials, and with the Department of Justice.”’

 

β€œKen’s transfer had nothing to do with the election,” Kloster confirmed, telling The Federalist his discussions with Klukowski occurred months earlier. Kloster then took aim at the House committee: β€œThe January 6th investigation is all about attacking mid-level and senior staff like Ken, to ensure that we don’t have a farm team in 2024, no matter who the president is. This isn’t about truth, but about making it impossible for conservatives to successfully enter and leave government.”

 

Public Record Confirms Klukowski’s Account

Not only did Kloser confirm Klukowski’s account, as did the various documents accessible to the Jan. 6 Committee concerning the timing and purpose of the transfer, the public record confirms Klukowski sought litigation experience in the civil division. Specifically, in the brief 36 days that Klukowski served in the civil divisionβ€”a fact Cheney presented as suspiciousβ€”Klukowski argued and won two federal appeals (completely unrelated to election issues) in the Ninth Circuit, including a complex and important case involving abstention.

 

Klukowski also denounced the committee for falsely suggesting he was working with Eastman to convince Vice President Mike Pence that Pence had the power to reject electors from various states based on β€œongoing disputes” over the election. The committee spun that narrative by highlighting β€œan email recommending that Mr. Klukowski and Dr. Eastman brief Vice President Pence and his staff,” apparently on that theory.

 

However, as Klukowski detailed in his public statement, he β€œnever briefed or advised Vice President Pence, or his staff, regarding any matter, including the 2020 election or the January 6 joint session of Congress,” and any β€œoutside suggestion that [he] do so was not made with my involvement.” Klukowski went further, though, noting that β€œhad anyone, including the Vice President, asked, I would have expressed my view that I disagreed with John Eastman’s theory on the powers of the Vice President at the January 6 joint session of Congress.”

 

During his weekend interview with The Federalist, Klukowski countered the Eastman theory, stating that β€œthe opinion of Justices Rehnquist, Scalia, and Thomas in Bush v. Gore explains what the Constitution has to say about how electors are appointed in presidential elections. Consistent with that opinion, my view has always been that December 14, 2020, was the deadline for appointing all such electors.”

 

In the statement Klukowski issued in response to the committee’s Thursday hearing, he stressed that he had told the committee those views in his β€œsworn testimony,” and had provided the committee β€œdocuments reflecting my expression of such views.”

A Mountain of Lies

Klukowski also took issue with the committee’s portrayal of him as an author of the letter, when in fact his role as Clark’s β€œsubordinate was to commit his dictations and outline to writing and fill in legal citations at the direction of my then-boss over the course of a single day.” Klukowski said he had no knowledge that any of the statements included in the letter were false, nor that Rosen and Donoghue did not intend to sign the letter.

 

Nor was there anything in the content of the letter that suggested it represented part of a plan to execute Eastman’s theory to reject the electors. Again, Klukowski stressed that he β€œprovided all of this information to the committee during [his] depositions.”

 

β€œI was concerned the committee might make cynical assumptions during its investigation of January 6,” Klukowski told The Federalist, β€œbut, I was stunned that the committee would make claims about me for which it had a mountain of evidence establishing, for certain, those statements were false.”

 

Klukowski added that his deposition testimonyβ€”which easily ran in the hundreds of pagesβ€”would fully expose the committee’s presentation as fraudulent. Klukowski, however, told The Federalist that he does not have a copy of the transcript, which is why he called on the Jan. 6 Committee to release it to the public.

 

The Federalist contacted Cheney’s office to inquire whether the committee would release the full transcript of Klukowski’s deposition testimony, as requested, or if not, why not. The Federalist also asked whether she disputed any aspect of Klukowski’s statement, which when compared to the Jan. 6

 

Committee’s Thursday proceedings leaves but one conclusion: The committee fraudulently portrayed an innocent DOJ attorney as complicit in a conspiracy to overturn the 2020 election, and did so with malice.

 

Cheney’s spokesman did not respond to The Federalist’s questions. House Republicans, however, should not let the atrocious slurs spun by Cheney and the committee go unanswered, especially since the immunity provided by the Speech and Debate Clause prevents Klukowski from obtaining any sort of recompense from those who slandered him.

 

Republican leaders in the House should demand that the Jan. 6 Committee immediately release the full deposition transcripts for all witnessesβ€”because if they fabricated Klukowski’s role in the alleged conspiracy, they likely lied about what other witnesses said as well.

It’s a trap: mooted gas cap plays into the hands of the cartel, locks in high energy prices

 

National Cabinet is to consider capping the gas price at $12 when National Cabinet meets Friday. At that high price, the government is gifting super profits to the gas cartel at the expense of Australian customers and industry. A price of $7, new research shows, still leaves solid profits for gas producers.

 

National Cabinet will meet this Friday to discuss putting a $12 per gigajoule price cap on gas. But a new report released by the Institute of Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA) shows that the right price for a cap is $7 dollar, not $12. The research will be released today.

 

Coupled with the Labor Government’s six months of equivocation and inaction on high energy prices, and a gas cartel that have exploited that hesitation and delay to normalise extraordinarily high gas prices, a $12 cap might seem like a win for Australian consumers and industry, but it won’t be. $12 will be a price that plays into the hands of the cartel.

$12 plucked from thick air

 

The $12 figure that’s been bandied about is number that lacks explanation. It appears to be a figure plucked from the thick air, or rather the thick political smog, that surrounds the issue.

 

The gas cartel has been very active in its advocacy of the need to let its super profits flow, with much airtime being given to its arguments by commercial media which will benefit from the cartel’s threatened advertising campaign.

 

The media mantras are flowing thick and fast: β€œWe’re charging fair prices” … β€œWe’ve signed a heads-of-agreement” … β€œIt’s the international market” … β€œWe need more local supply” … β€œSovereign risk!” … β€œHere comes a Rudd tax campaign” … β€œa price cap will artificially stimulate demand and tend to restrict supply, leading to gas shortages”.

Why is gas half the price in WA?

 

Of course, anyone who has looked into the effects of the gas reservation scheme in Western Australia, will see that reservation schemes work in ensuring plentiful supply and affordable prices, and that investment is not stifled. Gas prices in Western Australia range between $5 and $7 per gigajoule.

 

The gas industry’s quotes in the media are just phrases from the cartels’ greed play book – each designed to scare members of the public and those gullible and fearful in Government.

 

If the National Cabinet agrees to $12, they need to come clean on how that price was selected.

House Financial Services Committee Chairwoman Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) told a group of Democrats that she doesn’t plan to subpoena former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried to testify at a hearing on the crypto exchange’s collapse next week, according to a report from CNBC.

Waters told members of the committee about her decision at a meeting with SEC Chair Gary Gensler on Tuesday, according to CNBC’s sources.

The sources said Waters prefers to try to persuade Bankman-Fried to testify voluntarily rather than subpoena him.

Waters and Bankman-Fried have been tweeting at each other, with Waters inviting him to testify at the hearing on Tuesday. Bankman-Fried replied he felt that it was his β€œduty” to appear before the committee once he’s β€œfinished learning and reviewing what happened.” But he noted that β€œI’m not sure that will happen by [Dec. 13].”

Though not yet formally charged with any wrongdoing, Bankman-Fried is reportedly being probed by both U.S. federal prosecutors and the Securities and Exchange Commission for his actions with respect to FTX and its sister company, Alameda Research.

A spokesperson for Waters did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the CNBC report.

How a Religious Jew Aids the Ukrainian Army

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak published on his Facebook page a rare photo of a young Ukrainian officer in a black Jewish kippah.

The photo featured Natan Khazin, one of creators and commanders of the "Aerorozvidka" (aerial reconnaissance) unit. Khazin became one of the symbols of Jewish support for Ukraine during and after the "Revolution of Dignity" in 2014-2016.

Khazin is a religious Jew, well known in the Central Brodsky Synagogue in Kyiv. After the beginning of the events on the Маidan in January 2014, Khazin managed one of the β€œhundreds” (β€œsotnya”) units of the Maidan. In particular, he managed an operation to release the "Ukrainian House" on Khreshchatyk. After the victory of the Maidan, Khazin left for the АВО (anti-terrorist operation) zone and participated in the liberation of the city of Mariupol from Russian-backed separatists in the spring of 2014.

When military operations began in Donbas, Khazin and his friends Yaroslav Gonchar, Volodymyr Kochetkov-Sukach, and Dmytro Lisenbart created the volunteer "Aerorozvidka" unit. At the time they did not have either sufficient technical equipment or support from the Ministry of Defense.

The "Aerorozvidka" unit is now an official Ukrainian subdivision that conducts reconnaissance by means of pilotless flying vehicles and video monitoring complexes. Similar units are used in the armies of the U.S., Great Britain, and Israel. Currently the "Aerorozvidka" unit monitors on-line around the clock three fourths of the battlefront by video cameras that are co-ordinated into one system, and this increases the efficiency of military operations considerably. The "Aerorozvidka" unit has saved the lives of hundreds of Ukrainian fighters.

For this very reason Ukraine’s defense minister visited Khazin’s unit and rewarded many soldiers.

After this meeting Poltorak wrote in his Facebook page: "Pleasantly staggered by those results that they have already succeeded in attaining. During the meeting rewarded servicemen and volunteers. Ready to render all-round support of the unit. They work for the sake of a extremely important goal, and I am, in turn, ready to work with them!"

In response to my question about what he exactly showed Stepan Poltorak, Khazin answered: "I showed the Minister a video that, because of unit, enabled a hostile target to be struck from the air."

Khazin, who received adviser status to the chief of the general staff of the Ukrainian army in November 2016, constantly advocates the strengthening of collaboration between Ukraine and Israel, and between the Ukrainian and Jewish peoples.

I don't know if it is my attention span in part, but it seems to me that important people and subjects are victims of the news cycle or something. Haven't heard squat from or about L Lin Wood in such a long time. Did he turn out to have issues? Just a little bit ago, I was shocked but not surprised at the jailing of Gregg Philipps and Katherine Englebrecht, but now that they are out what is going on? The House Ethics Committee is investigating Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the congressional panel confirmed Wednesday.

Indiana sues TikTok for allegedly pushing adult content toward teens

 

Indiana's suits come on the same day that Maryland Republican Gov. Larry Hogan banned TikTok, among other Chinese and Russian apps, from state devices due to security concerns.

 

Indiana announced a pair of lawsuits against embattled Chinese-owned social media platform TikTok on Wednesday, alleging that the app is both pushing harmful content to age inappropriate users and that the app is deceiving customers about the security of their user data.

 

"TikTok is actively exposing our children to drug use, alcohol abuse, profanity and sexually explicit material at a young age," Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita said, per the Wall Street Journal. "TikTok is deceiving Indiana parents."

 

The first suit focuses on claims that the app's algorithm is aimed at addicting younger users to its use and is pushing age inappropriate content toward them to that end. It further asserts that the company incorrectly presents itself as age appropriate for individuals aged 12 and older, violating the state's consumer-protection laws.

 

The second suit addresses data security concerns, alleging that the company is in the thrall of the Chinese government and that the communist dictatorship may secure access to American user data and potentially spy on or blackmail users through it.

 

TikTok has long faced questions about its storage of American user data and potential Chinese access to it. ByteDance, the platform's parent company, operates of out China, though TikTok itself is banned in the country. Federal officials in multiple agencies, including the FBI, and the Federal Communications Commission, have warned of the security risk the app poses. Former President Donald Trump unsuccessfully attempted to ban the app outright.

White House: Rescinding Military Coronavirus Vaccine Mandate β€˜a Mistake’

 

 

The White House criticized House Republicans on Wednesday for working to rescind the coronavirus vaccine mandate for the military.

 

β€œWe believe that it is a mistake,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said to reporters at the daily briefing.

 

House Democrats conceded to Republicans on Tuesday, allowing language rescinding the coronavirus vaccine mandate into National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

 

β€œNot later than 30 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall rescind the mandate that members of the Armed Forces be vaccinated against COVID-19,” the bill reads.

 

Biden’s decision to mandate coronavirus vaccines for the military resulted in more than 8,000 troops getting kicked out of the military.

 

β€œRepublicans in Congress have decided that they’d rather fight against the health and wellbeing of our troops than protecting them,” Jean-Pierre said.

 

Jean-Pierre defended the vaccine mandate as β€œmaking sure our troops are prepared and ready for service.”

 

β€œVaccinations work and save the lives of our service members,” she said.

 

The White House stopped short of saying the president would veto the bill if it included the provision, saying that Biden would review the legislative process.

 

β€œThe president’s going to look at the NDAA in its entirety and make his judgment on that,” Jean-Pierre said.

The United Nations General Assembly affirmed that Israel must give up its nuclear weapons in a 149-6 vote taken on Wednesday.

 

An earlier version of the text was approved in the UNGA's Fifth Committee in October with a 152-5 vote.

 

Ukraine had voted against Israel in the Fifth Committee, but this time around was absent from the proceedings after it had been criticized for standing against Israel.

 

Those who opposed the resolution were: Canada, Israel, Micronesia, Palau and the United States. Liberia, which had been absent from the vote in October, changed its position and opposed the text.

 

Another 26 countries, including India and many European states, abstained from the resolution which is part of an annual package of over 15 anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian texts the UNGA approves.Β

The Jewish state is believed to be the only one of nine countries to possess nuclear weapons and the only one in the region, even though it has never admitted to having such an arsenal.

 

The resolution presumes that Israel has such weapons. It calls on Israel to "not to develop, produce, test or others acquire nuclear weapons" and to "renounce possession of nuclear weapons."

The resolution was put forward by the Palestinian Authority and 20 countries, including Israel's allies in the Middle East such as Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain, Morocco, Sudan and the United Arab Emirates.Β 

 

It was voted on just as Israel's Ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan and his Emirati counterpart are leading a joint mission of ambassadors to the UN on a visit to the Jewish state.Β 

 

The resolution itself was part of a slew of dozens of texts that deal with the issue of nuclear weapons and nuclear proliferation, in which Israel at times opposed or abstained.

 

It was the only country to vote against a resolution calling for the establishment of a nuclear-free zone in the Middle East, a text that had the support of 175 out of the UN 193 nations.

 

Two countries obtained from that vote, the United States and Singapore.
