Belarusian embassy vandalized in the Netherlands

 

The building was daubed in graffiti calling President Alexander Lukasheko a “terrorist”

 

Dutch police have arrested one suspect after the Belarusian embassy in The Hague was vandalized. The building’s windows were smashed and its facade sprayed with graffiti.

 

A 31-year-old man was arrested outside the embassy on Saturday night, the Omroep West news network reported on Sunday. It is unclear whether anyone else was involved in the vandalism.

 

The Belarusian Foreign Ministry confirmed the incident to Sputnik Belarus.

 

Several windows were smashed and slogans were sprayed onto the building with black and red paint. One read “Luka – Terrorist,” referring to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, while another read “Long live Belarus.”

VoterGA announced today that it is calling on Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to unplug the Dominion voting system found by expert witness, Dr. Alex Halderman, to have grossly inadequate security controls. co-founder, Garland Favorito, released a detailed statement to explain the problem and solutions:

 

“The recently unsealed Halderman Security Analysis explains that the Dominion voting system was not designed, engineered or tested with the necessary security provisions and cannot be retrofitted to satisfactorily include them. We, at VoterGA, have whole-heartedly promoted similar viewpoints for years.

 

Secretary Raffensperger has misled legislators and county election officials by touting an unsigned Mitre report that was funded by Dominion and produced without access to the voting system. It has been discredited by 29 cyber security experts and computer science professors on grounds that the entire report is based on a ‘ridiculous’ false assumption that all current physical access controls cannot be compromised.

 

No patch will ensure our voting system is secure because the Secretary continues to fight to keep the paper ballots it produces secret. Our scanners are as unsecure as the Ballot Marking Devices and more dangerous because they control what is tabulated. The Halderman analysis shows our scanners accept photocopied ballots. Evidence shows photocopies were scanned and accepted in 2020 and 2022 elections. We also determined thousands of low-resolution Dominion ballot images were electronically altered prior to the 2020 election certification.

 

The solution to this problem is to unplug Georgia from the voting system. Voters must cast hand-marked, security grade paper ballots, hand counted in public at polling locations. The Secretary refuses to do this because he purchased the system. That system is unverifiable to the voter and it was declared illegal by the U.S. District Court prior to the 2020 election.

 

If Secretary Raffensperger continues refusing to unplug this system, the only other solution is to unseal all paper ballots the system has produced and will produce in the future. Publicly available ballots are necessary to verify electronic results and detect counterfeit ballots as soon as results are certified. Therefore, we call upon Secretary Raffensperger to immediately request Superior Courts statewide to unseal all paper ballots for the 2020, 2022, and 2024 elections. Georgians deserves honest proof of secure, transparent elections.”

Socialist Boston City Council Member Wrecks Car With Son Inside While Driving on Suspended License

 

A Boston City Council member, who hails herself as a socialist Democrat, has been accused of wrecking her car into a home in the Jamaica Plains District while driving uninsured, in an unregistered vehicle and while have her license suspended.

 

Kendra Lara, who has publicly called for the Democratic party to shift towards Socialism, totaled her Honda Civic when she ran through a metal fence, bushes and proceeded to hit the left side of a Jamaica Plain’s home.

 

Lara’s 4-year-old son, who was not in a booster seat, was also in the car at the time of the crash and had to be sent to Boston Children’s Hospital to receive several stitches.

 

A witness to the crash said he was driving at the normal speed limit when he saw Lara’ Civic zoom past him and take a hard left into a house.

Doctors Group Files Federal Lawsuit Against HHS and FDA Over Unlawful Attempt to Ban Ivermectin for COVID Treatment

 

A group of doctors has filed a federal lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) over the agencies’ unlawful attempts to block the use of ivermectin in treating COVID-19, The Texan reported.

 

The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. Southern District of Texas in Galveston, argues that the FDA has overstepped its authority and unjustifiably interfered with their medical practice.

 

The plaintiffs, Drs. Mary Talley Bowden, Paul E. Marik, and Robert L. Apter, are contesting the FDA’s portrayal of ivermectin as dangerous for human consumption. They note that the FDA has approved ivermectin for human use since 1996 for a variety of diseases. However, they allege that with the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, the FDA began releasing documents and social media posts discouraging the use of the anti-viral drug for COVID-19 treatment.

 

“We’re suing the FDA for lying to the public about ivermectin,” said Dr. Bowden.

 

U.S. law is cited in the complaint, including the provision that the FDA “may not interfere with the authority of a health care provider to prescribe or administer any legally marked device to a patient for any condition or disease within a legitimate health care practitioner-patient relationship.”

 

“The cited statements were not directives,” said Isaac Belfer, one of the lawyers. “They were not mandatory. They were recommendations. They said what parties should do. They said, for example, why you should not take ivermectin to treat COVID-19. They did not say you may not do it, you must not do it. They did not say it’s prohibited or it’s unlawful. They also did not say that doctors may not prescribe ivermectin.”

 

“They use informal language, that is true… It’s conversational but not mandatory,” he continued.

 

However, the statement from the lawyer contradicted to FDA’s social media post, stating, “Hold your horses, y’all. Ivermectin may be trending, but it still isn’t authorized or approved to treat COVID-19.”

CURE OF CANCER DR PERRY NICHOLS

 

Interesting old leather bound medical book: CANCER IT'S PROPER TREATMENT AND CURE, Escharotic Treatment Founded in 1896 by Perry Nichols, M. D., Dr. Nichols Sanatorium, Savannah, Missouri. Published 1929. It is in good condition with some discoloring and wear to be expected at its age. T is a name written in ink in the front of the book, "Mrs. M. L. Whitten book". It measures 9 1/2 "X 6 1/2". Dr. Nichols was an interesting character who claimed to have found the cure for cancer. The title page of the book: "The Value of ESCHAROTICS, Medicines which will destroy any living or fungus tissue in the treatment of Cancer & Lupus Sarcoma or any other form of malignancy." The first pages of the book have wonderful black and white photos of Dr. Nichols, the directors, doctors and nurses at the sanatorium plus pictures of the rooms and beautiful grounds. Some of the chapter titles are: Cause of Cancer Pathology of Cancer Bad Method of Treatment Vs. Escharotics The Cure of Cancer The majority of the book (pg. 55-267) is devoted to testimonials and references. T is also an expense page at the back with charges for a stay at the sanatorium. $10. PER WEEK or $12 if food was delivered to the room! Plus the fees for treatment which varied from case to case but usually ranging from $25. to $300.!! This is an intriguing old book and a great medical collectible. It was in 1895, at age 32, that Nichols, already a successful farmer and real estate agent, first learned of escharotic treatment of skin cancer from two doctors practicing at an Iowa clinic called the Cherokee Sanatorium. After talking to patients convinced they were cured, Nichols set to work on his own escharotic formula, which he kept secret. In 1896, he spent time working with the same two physicians, and claimed to have treated 40 to 50 patients successfully. By November of that year, he had opened his own practice. Hampered by the lack of a medical degree, he hired a physician in 1897, and pursued his own M.D. degree, which he received from the University of the South-Sewanee in 1901. Sideline becomes main business Nichols moved to South Dakota intending to open a general medical practice. However, his sideline of escharotic cancer treatment quickly became his main business. In 1905 he was recruited to the city of Hot Springs to head an 80-bed sanatorium. In 1911, a branch was opened in Excelsior Springs, Mo., and a year later, Nichols was recruited to Savannah, Mo., a location he liked for its central location, available land, and good transportation, including an interurban railway to bring patients to and from St. Joseph. It was that Nichols' practice thrived, and in 1924, construction was started on a new brick building that had at least 200 beds. Nichols became ill and died of congestive heart failure in August 1925, but the clinic didn't close until 1956.

Hells Angels Teach Etiquette to Antifa

 

Antifa attempted to recruit Hells Angels in Sturgis. This backfired on them as one foolish protester kicked the bike of a Hells Angel in jest. He had a man bun. Everyone knows not to touch the BIKE of a Hells Angel. It’s like poking a bear. Police were able to protect the offender however.

 

As a result of this incident, the bikers are going en mass to Portland to re-educate antifa on Etiquette. State Police are leaving Portland and allowing the Hells Angels to provide that education in a non-threatening environment.

 

Lesson One: Protesters showed up on bicycles for instruction. It’s like bringing a knife to a gun fight. And never ever kick or in any way deface a Motorcycle or a Motaur.

 

Lesson Two: Don’t arrive with identifiable clothes or appearance. Any man bun that is observed will be cut off. Clearly, man buns have no place in a civilized society. Biker attire is permitted if you are a biker, to create fear.

 

Lesson Three: When removing a protester from his/her vehicle to beat them up, do so politely. Do not use bad language. Communication is key, say please and thank you.

 

Lesson Four: It is considered impolite to honk your horn at a biker; they will respond appropriately now that state police are not in Portland.

 

Lesson Five: Create good will by making eye contact and smiling. This will work for police or storm troopers as well. Throwing bricks, etc. will receive a positive response when delivered with a smile.

 

Lesson Six: Close the door when you leave! Just like your mom and dad taught you, don’t let the cold air inside! Exception is made if you remove or breakdown the door.

 

Lesson Seven: Proper coffee drinking is taught. Raise a glass of delicious local beer as well. Do not waste coffee or beer by throwing them at a building or a policeman. Use liquor which can be confiscated in many stores. Make a Molotov cocktail for this purpose.

 

Lesson Eight: Dogfaceponies are a protected species. Anyone causing injury or death of a pony will suffer the wrath of Bikers and federal law enforcement (gestapo).

The 36-page report raises three familiar issues: first, government actors worked with third parties to overturn the First Amendment; second, censors prioritized political narratives over truthfulness; and third, an unaccountable bureaucracy hijacked American society.

 

CISA’s Collusion to Overturn the First Amendment

The House Report reveals that CISA, a branch of the Department of Homeland Security, worked with social media platforms to censor posts it considered dis-, mis-, or malinformation. Brian Scully, the head of CISA’s censorship team, conceded that this process, known as “switchboarding,” would “trigger content moderation.”

 

Additionally, CISA funded the nonprofit EI-ISAC in 2020 to bolster its censorship operations. EI-ISAC worked to report and track “misinformation across all channels and platforms.” In launching the nonprofit, the government boasted that it “leverage[d] DHS CISA’s relationship with social media organizations to ensure priority treatment of misinformation reports.”

 

The switchboard programs directly contradict sworn testimony from CISA Director Jen Easterly. “We don’t censor anything… we don’t flag anything to social media organizations at all,” Esterly told Congress in March. “We don’t do any censorship.” Her statement was more than a lie; it omitted the institutionalization of the practice she denied. The agency’s initiatives relied on a collusive apparatus of private-public partnerships designed to suppress unapproved information.

 

This should sound familiar.

 

Alex Berenson gained access to thousands of Twitter communications that uncovered concrete evidence that government actors – including White House Covid Advisor Andy Slavitt – worked to censor him for criticizing Biden’s Covid policies.

 

White House Director of Digital Strategy Rob Flaherty privately lobbied social media groups to remove a video of Tucker Carlson reporting the link between Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine and blood clots.

An after-action report has blamed the failed evacuation from Kabul on the insistence of both Trump and Biden to quickly end the war

 

The US State Department released its long-awaited after-action report on the botched 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan on Friday.

 

The assessment blamed the snafu primarily on the insistence of Presidents Donald Trump and Joe Biden on going ahead with a full military withdrawal. The decision to “end the US military mission in Afghanistan had serious consequences for the viability of the Afghan government and its security,” it stated.

 

The loss of military “enablers” put Washington’s diplomatic presence in the country at risk, while the departure deadlines set first by the Trump and then the Biden administrations were not accompanied by a sufficiently detailed exit plan, according to the report.

 

Failure to prepare for disaster scenarios compounded the difficulties. “Crisis preparation and planning” were lacking, the report stated, because the State Department did not want to send the wrong “signals” to its Afghan counterparts. “Anything that might suggest the United States had lost confidence in the Afghan government” was to be avoided lest it “contribute to its collapse,” it explained.

 

No one, it suggests, could have predicted that the Afghan military– equipped with billions of dollars in US weapons and training – would lay down their arms almost immediately upon confronting the Taliban. They were expected to hold Kabul for “weeks, if not months.”

 

The report slammed the decision to turn over Bagram Air Base to the Afghan government, pointing out that this left only Hamid Karzai International Airport available for evacuations. Opting not to halt the routine annual personnel rotation at the embassy was also highlighted as a failure, as the report noted that this increased confusion on the ground.

A Ukrainian military commander has reportedly raised concerns that light combat tanks supplied to the former Soviet republic by France aren’t suitable for attacks against Russian defensive lines because their thin armor can easily be pierced by artillery shells and other weapons.

 

Touted earlier this year by Ukrainian DefenseMinister Aleksey Reznikov as a “sniper rifle on fast wheels,” the French AMX-10 RC armored fighting vehicle has proven “impractical” during Kiev’s current counteroffensive against Russian forces, Agence-France Presse (AFP)reported on Sunday. One four-man crew has died because of the tank’s thin armor, which can easily be pierced by Russian weaponry, a Ukrainian battalion commander told the media outlet.

 

“Unfortunately, there was one case when the crew died in the vehicle,” said the 34-year-old Ukrainian major, whom AFP identified only by his call sign, Spartanets. “There was artillery shelling, and a shell exploded near the vehicle. The fragments pierced the armor, and the ammunition set detonated.”

Kosovo PM planning new attack on Serbs – Vucic

Albin Kurti views himself as “the new Zelensky,” the Serbian president has said

 

Kosovo’s prime minister,Albin Kurti, is preparing to launch an attack against the province’s Serb minorityto coincide with a renewed counteroffensive by Kiev’s forces in Ukraine, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic warned on Sunday.

 

“Kurti just wants to be the new Zelensky,”Vucic told reporters. “When the offensive of Ukraine starts, then you will see an additional offensive of Kurti in the Republic of Kosovo. I ask the people of the Republic of Kosovo to be careful, to just take shelter for a while.I am afraid that this terror will become even fiercer.”

 

Tensions have run high in Kosovo since April, when ethnic Albanian mayors were elected in four majority-Serb towns in the province’s north without Serb participation in the vote. Despite the mayors winning with a turnout of less than 4%, Kurti sent police and special forces to install them into office in May, backed by NATO forces. Riots broke out, with one brawl resulting in the injury of around 50 Serb demonstrators and 25 NATO personnel.

 

Despite rebukes and threats of sanctions from his US and EU backers, Kurti sent ethnic Albanian special forces into northern Kosovo to detain more than a dozen ethnic Serbs. Meanwhile, the Serbian authorities arrested several members of the Kosovo special forces on the Serbian side of the border with Kosovo.

 

Belgrade has since released the detained Albanians, yetPristina has not released the arrested Serbs. Vucic has demanded that Kurti release them, as well as almost 100 others in custody for the last two years.

 

“I am afraid of Albin Kurti’s completely irrational and anti-Serbian moves,” Vucic said on Sunday. “I will do my best to prevent this from happening. But not at the cost of a pogrom of the Serbian people.”

 

General Milan Mojsilovic, the head of the Serbian General Staff, called on NATO last month to prevent attacks on Kosovo’s Serb population by Kurti’s forces. Should the West fail to “protect the Serbs and their right to exist,” Mojsilovic warned that the Serbian military would “carry out its mission to the fullest.”

 

NATO took control of Kosovo in 1999, after waging a 78-day air war against Serbia on behalf of ethnic Albanian separatists. Though UN Security Council Resolution 1244 affirmed Serbia’s territorial integrity, the provisional government in Pristina declared independence in 2008. Belarusian embassy vandalized in the Netherlands

The building was daubed in graffiti calling President Alexander Lukasheko a “terrorist”

 

Dutch police have arrested one suspect after the Belarusian embassy in The Hague was vandalized. The building’s windows were smashed and its facade sprayed with graffiti.

 

A 31-year-old man was arrested outside the embassy on Saturday night, the Omroep West news network reported on Sunday. It is unclear whether anyone else was involved in the vandalism.

 

The Belarusian Foreign Ministry confirmed the incident to Sputnik Belarus.

 

Several windows were smashed and slogans were sprayed onto the building with black and red paint.One read “Luka – Terrorist,”referring to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, while another read “Long live Belarus.”

 

The incident was condemned by liberal politician Sjoerd Sjoerdsma. “No matter how rightly angry you are at the regime of Belarus, Russia or other countries, do not attack their embassies or residences,” he wrote on Twitter, adding that such attacks make “our diplomats in those countries less safe.”

 

Russian consulates and embassies have been targeted by vandalsin several Western countries since the start of Moscow’s military operation in Ukraine last February. Belarus’ diplomatic outposts, however, have not been targeted since 2021, when a group of anti-Lukashenko protesters defaced the country’s embassy in London and injured a member of its staff.

 

Lukashenko is a staunch ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Minsk has been placed under many of the same Western sanctions as Moscow since Lukashenko allowed Russian forces to launch an offensive on Kiev from Belarusian territory last year.

 

The Belarusian leader made international headlines in May when he agreed to host Russian nuclear missiles in Belarus, and again last week when he brokered a deal that ended Wagner Group leader Evgeny Prigozhin’s short-lived mutiny and march on Moscow.

Viktor Bout to enter politics

The businessman who spent some 12 years in US prison will run for a local legislature in Russia

Russian businessman Viktor Bout has been nominated as a candidate for the local legislature in the western Russian city of Ulyanovsk. He will run representing Russia’s right-wing Liberal Democratic Party (LDPR).

 

Bout was nominated by secret ballot during a regional party gathering on Sunday. His candidacy was announced after the vote by Dmitry Grachev, leader of the LDPR faction in the Ulyanovsk legislature.

 

The businessman spent more than 14 years behind bars, including 12 years in US prisons. Bout was taken into custody in 2008 during a sting operation in Thailand and was ultimately convicted by a US court on drug trafficking charges and sentenced to 25 years.

 

Bout has always maintained his innocence, insisting he had been merely caught up in geopolitics. He has told RT previously that he believes the case was an “experiment” by the US targeting him and his home country alike with sanctions.

 

Ultimately, the businessman ended up being swapped for US women’s basketball star Brittney Griner. The two-time Olympic gold medalist was arrested in Russia when banned cannabis vape oil cartridges were found in her luggage at a Moscow airport. Russian businessman Viktor Bout has officially become a member of the right-wing Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR), days after he was exchanged in a prisoner swap for US basketball player Brittney Griner. He was personally handed his membership card by the party’s leader during the LDPR’s 33rd anniversary on Monday.

 

“I am sure that Viktor Bout, a strong-willed and courageous person, will take a worthy place in [the party]. Welcome to our ranks,” said LDPR leader Leonid Slutsky. He previously stated the businessman would also be invited to a meeting of the Duma (lower house of parliament) Committee on International Affairs and the LDPR faction.

Last week, Moscow and Washington conducted a high-level prisoner swap, exchanging Bout for jailed WNBA star Brittney Griner. The athlete had previously been sentenced to a penal colony in Russia on drug smuggling charges, while Bout had spent over 14 years behind bars, including 12 years in US prisons, as part of a 25-year sentence for arms-trafficking. Bombings in DC Target Three Businesses Overnight

 

Three businesses in Northeast Washington, D.C. were bombed early Sunday morning according to D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department. Supreme Court Agrees To Hear Major Gun Rights Case This Fall

 

The US Supreme Court on Friday agreed to take on another major Second Amendment case, this time evaluating the constitutionality of a federal law barring gun possession by people subject to a domestic violence restraining order.

 

Following years of relentless refusals to hear gun rights cases to the point that Justice Clarence Thomas chided his peers for a "decade-long failure to protect the Second Amendment" the Supreme Court is now showing a revived appetite for questions about the right to armed self-defense.

 

Last year brought the enormously impactful decision in New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen. In that ruling, the court declared that gun control laws are only constitutional if they are "consistent with this nation's historical tradition of firearm regulation."

 

The application of that new test has already led judges across the country to reject many gun control laws, though different outcomes have been observed as different courts evaluate similar gun laws. By taking this new case, the Supreme Court is demonstrating its interest in clarifying how the "historical tradition" test should be applied.

 

Unlike many recent high-profile legal challenges to gun control measures, the case that will be heard this fall United States v Rahimi isn't led by any gun-rights organizations. It also centers on a character, Zackey Rahimi, that few people across the political spectrum will sympathize with.

He also allegedly lit at least one fire on August 25, 2020 and obstructed a police investigation. Kenosha Police asked the Kenosha DA, Michael Graveley (D), to charge Ziminski with (1) Second Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, (2) Resisting/Obstructing an Officer, (3) Disorderly Conduct, (4) Bail-Jumping, and (5) Arson. Graveley’s office charged Ziminski with only one count of misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct. Only after community outrage, did the office add felony arson to the charges.

On August 26, 2022, while out on bail for the riot-related crimes, Ziminski and his wife burglarized and robbed a man at knifepoint, took him around the city to ATM’s with the intent to steal the man’s money. He was charged with 6 felonies and one misdemeanor. He faced many decades in prison.

Today, Kenosha County Prosecutor T. Clair Binger dismissed all of the criminal charges from August 25, 2020. He made a plea deal with Ziminski that included both of these felony files. Today in court, Ziminski plead guilty to one count of armed robbery and one count of armed burglary.

T. Clair Binger will recommend, as part of the deal, that Ziminski only spends five years behind bars, followed by five years of extended supervision.

At least 30 people were injured, two fatally, when a mass shooting erupted early Sunday in Baltimore, turning what had been a festive neighborhood block party into what one witness described as a "war zone."

An 18-year-old girl was found dead at the scene from a gunshot wound and a 20-year-old man was taken to a hospital, where he died, authorities said. Three of the injured people were in critical condition, officials said.

"It was a war zone. It was definitively a warzone,” one witness, who only wanted to be identified by her initials L.N. because she feels unsafe in Baltimore, told ABC News.

The mass shooting unfolded around 12:30 a.m. in the Brooklyn Homes neighborhood in the southern district of the city. Acting Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley said police officers rushed to the scene when numerous 911 callers reported shots being fired.

Worley said the barrage of gunfire broke out during a large block party at a housing development in the 800 block of Gretna Court.

"When officers got here, we located multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds," Worley said.

No suspects have been arrested in the violence Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott described as "a reckless, cowardly act."

"This morning, all of Baltimore is grieving the lives that were lost here, and our hearts are with those who are recovering as a result of this mass shooting," Scott said at a news conference near the crime scene. “We will not stop until we find those cowards who decided to just shoot dozens of people, causing people to lose their lives."

Worley said investigators are combing through security video in an attempt to identify suspects. He said a motive also remains under investigation.

Directing his comments to the assailants, Scott said, "I want those responsible to hear me clearly, we will not stop until we find you. And, we will find you."

"Until then, I hope that with every single breath you take, you think about the lives that you took and you think about the lives that you impacted here tonight."

Both the mayor and Worley asked for the community's help in finding the perpetrators.

"If you saw anything or know anything, please call 911," Worley said.

Scott added, "Treat this as if it were your family, how you would want to be treated if you were mourning, if this was your neighborhood, if this was an event in your community."

The names of the slain victims were not immediately identified.

The witness, L.N., told ABC News that she was leaving the annual "Brooklyn Day" neighborhood block party and as she was walking to her car, she heard what she immediately recognized as gunfire.

"I mean, it was it was loud," said L.N. "It was messy, all these people were running around the building running everywhere. It was just … oh my god, all these young people running."

L.N. said two young women who had been shot approached her and asked for help. She said she put both shooting victims in her car and drove to MedStar Harbor Hospital, running red lights along the way. She said one of the wounded women in her car "kept screaming every time I hit a bump."

"I wanted them babies to be OK. They are babies. These are young people, very young people, that were out there," L.N. said.

Worley said nine people, including the young man who died, were taken to area hospitals by ambulance. Additionally, 20 other victims walked into hospital emergency rooms throughout the region seeking treatment for gunshot wounds, he said.

"This is an extensive crime scene," Worley said. "Our detectives will be here quite a while."

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore released a statement Sunday, condemning "yet another mass shooting (to) strike our community where a celebratory gathering turned deadly."

"Maryland has had enough of watching gun violence continue to ravage our state and our nation," Moore said. "The fact that these horrific shootings continue to take place is abominable. We as a state will continue to do everything we can to prevent senseless acts of violence like the one we saw last night."

So what does this all mean?

 

Essentially, the U.S. (and by extension the G7 at large) have or are about to hit the point where their fiscal situation is behind their control. To fight inflation would require them to collapse their economy in a repeat of 2008 because a decade of low interest rates created too many distortions that can’t be fixed…or they’re going to have to let inflation be in the double digits on a sustained basis.

 

Neither are good for long term political stability.

RFK Jr. Throws Moms for Liberty Under the Woke School Bus, Touts Pro-LGBTQ Stance

Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has garnered support from both leftists and conservatives. But conservatives who admire RFK Jr. for speaking hard truths should also be aware of how he back-stabbed a parental rights group on TV in order to pander to an intolerant homosexual activist who wants LGBTQ propaganda in schools.

The group Kennedy rejected was Moms for Liberty, which just held a summit featuring 2024 Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Ron DeSantis. But not Kennedy.

Moms for Liberty’s mission statement reads, “Moms for Liberty is dedicated to fighting for the survival of America by unifying, educating and empowering parents to defend their parental rights at all levels of government.” All they want to do is prevent the government-enforced indoctrination and sexualization of children in schools and make sure parents are made aware of such tremendously important things as whether their children are masquerading as the opposite sex at school. The group does not attack LGBTQ people — indeed, LGBTQ activists are the onesharassing Moms for Liberty.

At a town hall on Wednesday, News Nation allowed audience members to ask Kennedy questions. James Williams, the CEO of a social media consulting firm, asked the candidate why he agreed to and then drew back from an invitation to speak at a Moms for Liberty conference. While Moms for Liberty is specifically geared toward preventing parents from being pressured into letting their kids be indoctrinated, Williams claimed Moms for Liberty tries to tell people how to raise their children.

Williams then brought up the immensely corrupt and sexually licentious Sen. Ted Kennedy, RFK’s uncle (Chappaquiddick, anyone?) and Williams’s former boss. He said there was “no bigger champion or stalwart for LGBTQ equality” than “the late Ted Kennedy.” Practically crying, Williams demanded to know why he should vote for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. when the latter originally agreed to speak at a conference with a group “that wants to ban my marriage and tell…other parents how to treat their children” (again, a misunderstanding of Moms for Liberty’s goals).

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. rushed to reassure the intolerant activist that he “didn’t speak at that group.” RFK began, ”When somebody on my staff accepted that invitation, and I was unaware of it —”

Williams, too worked up to let Kennedy actually finish his sentence, jumped in and self-righteously announced that, as a former congressional staffer, he thinks blaming staff is “the wrong answer.”

Instead of respectfully but firmly telling Williams not to lecture and talk over him, RFK hastened to appease the overwrought leftist. Since he’s at the start of his campaign, he has no “long-term staff,” Kennedy explained. “When I found out that that was [Moms for Liberty’s] position,” Kennedy went on, not explaining what that position was and presumably referring back to James’s misrepresentation of the group, “I declined to go.”

So is RFK saying he doesn’t support parental rights? That he supports the sexualization of children in schools? That would seem to be what he affirmed here. That’s deeply concerning.

”There will be nobody in the Oval Office who is more supportive of LGBTQ rights than I am,” Kennedy went on, apparently forgetting (as his family has so often forgotten before) that he is a Catholic and therefore cannot, religiously speaking, support homosexual marriage. “I was with Teddie campaigning…in 1980. We — it was the first political, presidential campaign that ever courted the gay vote…it’s very important to me, it’s a civil right…my family has stood for, has fought for [these rights], and I will do the same”

Kennedy then delivered what amounted to an apology. “I made a mistake by accepting that invitation, and when I found out those positions,” (said again without any clarification), “I didn’t show up.” But apparently, that sickening statement wasn’t good enough for Williams, who demanded Kennedy “denounce” what Moms for Liberty “stand[s] for.” Kennedy at least refused to do that, but he added, “I don’t agree with anybody who says that we shouldn’t respect gay rights, or anybody else’s rights.” Except parental rights, evidently.

“Everybody should respect [gay rights], and, you know, I’m going to do everything I can to make sure that they’re — those are protected, and I always have,” . Our children are too important for any compromise with LGBTQ crazies.

You Can’t Make This Up: U.S. Army Celebrates Trans Major Rachel Jones’ Journey from Depression to Authenticity in Celebration of LGBTQ+ Pride

 

The U.S. Army has chosen to spotlight the personal journey of Maj. Rachel Jones, a transgender ‘woman’ and head of the U.S. Army Sustainment Command’s Cyber Division.

 

According to a recent Army publication, it was Jones’ transition from male to female that brought her back from the brink of severe depression and suicidal tendencies. Amidst international tensions and potential conflicts, it seems the U.S. Army has found the time to delve into the realm of personal storytelling and LGBTQ+ advocacy.

 

Last month, in observance of Pride Month, they’ve chosen to parade Maj. Jones’ tale as a testament to their inclusivity and, seemingly, as proof of their commitment to personnel welfare.

 

The U.S. Army Sustainment Command Cyber Division chief, G6 (Information Management), struggled with depression and suicidal ideation for most of her life. Today, she is living her truth and is no longer battling depression or suicidal thoughts.

 

The road to self-acceptance was not easy for Jones. Before coming out privately to her therapist, Jones lived every day deeply depressed and suicidal.

 

“When I was growing up in the 80s and 90s there was a lot of anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric. I don’t think many people meant to do that, but it’s something I heard as I was growing up repeatedly. So much so that I was convinced I was inherently evil for being transgender,” said Jones. “The pressure of hiding all of the time was so bad I grew up depressed and suicidal to the point that I always had a plan to end my life.”

 

Jones, however, feels lucky to be alive today. “Even when deployed, the greatest threat to my own safety was myself,” she said.

 

The risk of depression, post-traumatic stress and suicidal ideation is twice as high for LGBTQ+ veterans and Soldiers who have concealed their true selves than non-LGBTQ+ veterans and Soldiers, explained master resilience trainer, Stephanie Allers, who serves as a program specialist and suicide prevention liaison in the ASC G1 (Human Resources) Readiness and Resilience Division.

Narcissism is the soul of wit — and progressivism

 

One of the more ridiculous side effects of this moment in history is the trend of so many friends and family members refusing to acknowledge one another over politics. By most people’s reckoning, this issue is far more prevalent on the Left than on the Right. And as it is still more or less a free country, people are free to do whatever petty, destructive, bone-headed things they wish.

 

On the other hand, if you are going to banish someone from the family because they lean conservative, you have to accept all of the consequences. Consider this recent letter to advice columnist Amy Dickinson, which recently appeared in The Chicago Tribune:

 

Dear Amy: Four months before my daughter’s wedding, she told me that her uncle (my brother, “Dave”) would make her feel unsafe if he was a guest. She asked me not to invite him.

 

My daughter is very politically progressive, as are many of her friends, and although she and Dave have always had a good relationship (I thought), he is a conservative voter and has supported candidates we all abhor.

 

Dave has always been very nice, so my daughter’s request surprised me.

 

I wrote Dave a very nice note, telling him that we would not be comfortable with him at the wedding and that he would not be invited.

 

Dave did not respond and did not attend.

 

Afterward, I sent him a card and pictures from the wedding, all in an effort to make him feel like he was not being totally left out.

 

I have not heard from Dave since then. When my siblings found out what I had done they were angry with me.

 

That is just one problem.

 

Another problem is that Dave has not sent my daughter and son-in-law a wedding gift.

 

In the past, Dave has given family members wedding checks in excess of $1,000.

 

She says she was counting on receiving the same type of gift.

 

My husband says I should drop it – but I can’t. Dave’s behavior is upsetting and embarrassing to me.

 

How can I get my brother to recognize and change his petty behavior?

 

Please don’t tell me that I’m the one who started this by not inviting my brother to the wedding. After all, he’s a grown man, while my daughter is young and just starting out.

Anon thinks anon just had a major stoke, woke up on the floor having another seizure. Head was pounding before this happen, it started last night, I woke up on the set of stairs holding head in pain, was walking up and fell down.

 

Anon started too see colors and patterns but only in the right eye. Head hurt lots before anon went to bed, was in one spot in the brain. Today whole brain pounding. All these occurrences statred on friday after opening a package that was trapped in customs since May, what I ordered, I order once a month and it comes that week. California Teachers' Union Threatens Local School Board With Legal Action Over Flag Policy

 

California’s statewide teachers’ union sent a letter June 27 to the Chino Valley Unified School board criticizing its recent decision to allow only government flags on school property—and threatening to take legal action against the board if the policy is not reversed.

The board voted 4–1 June 15 to allow only the California and U.S. flags on school property.

 

The California Teachers Association—with more than 300,000 members—in partnership with local union Associated Chino Teachers alleges in the letter the decision violates teachers’ right to free speech under the First Amendment as well as a state employment law.

 

The union also said the district further violated state employment laws because it made a decision that affected the current status quo for teachers without giving the local union proper notice or a chance to negotiate terms.

Suspects and Vehicle Sought in Destruction of Property Offenses in the District

 

Sunday, July 2, 2023

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division and Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Washington Field Division seek the public’s assistance in identifying suspects and a vehicle in reference to Destruction of Property offenses that occurred on Sunday, July 2, 2023, in the District.

 

  • At approximately 4:30 am, the suspect detonated an explosive device on the sidewalk outside of the ATM at the Truist Bank located in the 2300 block of Washington Place, Northeast then fled the scene in a vehicle. The explosive device caused damage to the location. CCN: 23-106-401

 

  • At approximately 4:36 am, the suspect detonated an explosive device on the sidewalk in front of the doors at the Nike Store located in the 700 block of H Street, Northeast, then fled the scene in a vehicle. The explosive device caused damage to the location. CCN: 23-106-429

 

  • At approximately 4:45 am, the suspect threw a Molotov cocktail style object at the Safeway store located in the 300 block of 40th Street, Northeast then fled the scene in a vehicle. The Molotov cocktail caused damage to the location. CCN: 23-106-412

 

In each of these offenses, it appears the suspect targeted commercial establishments and it does not appear the suspect was targeting any members of the public. The establishments were closed at the time of the offenses. There were no reported injuries as a result of these offenses.

Pornhub Closes up Shop in Virginia

As I mentioned yesterday, winning back the nation is not going to happen in the space of a day, week, or even a year. It is going to have to be done almost on a person-by-person basis, or in this case, state-by-state.

 

Pornhub has announced that it will no longer offer its “services” to residents of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Following in the footsteps of Louisiana, Utah, Mississippi, and Arkansas, Virginiapassed a law mandating age verification for people who want to access adult websites. The law goes into effect tomorrow, July 1, 2023. This is not good news for companies like Pornhub. TV station WRICin Virginia had the statement from Pornhub’s parent company, MindGeek:

 

The safety of our users is one of our biggest concerns. We believe that the best and most effective solution for protecting children and adults alike is to identify users by their device and allow access to age-restricted materials and websites based on that identification. Until a real solution is offered, we have made the difficult decision to completely disable access to our website in Virginia. [sic]

 

According to the station, the company also had a message that appeared when Virginia users tried to access the site.

 

Dear user,

 

As you may know, your elected officials in Virginia are requiring us to verify your age before allowing you access to our website. While safety and compliance are at the forefront of our mission, giving your ID card every time you want to visit an adult platform is not the most effective solution for protecting our users, and in fact, will put children and your privacy at risk.

 

In addition, mandating age verification without proper enforcement gives platforms the opportunity to choose whether or not to comply. As we’ve seen in other states, this just drives traffic to sites with far fewer safety measures in place. Very few sites are able to compare to the robust Trust and Safety measures we currently have in place. To protect children and user privacy, any legislation must be enforced against all platforms offering adult content.

 

Trust and safety? Tell that to the women highlighted by The Washington Post andother outlets who sued the company over allegations that Pornhub was “a ‘classic criminal enterprise’ that profits from content showing rape, child pornography, sex trafficking, and other nonconsensual activity.” Tell that to anyone who had to endure having their most intimate moments or barbaric abuse at the hands of another displayed across a massive platform. Tell that to anyone who has lost a loved one to porn through trafficking, deception, willing participation, or through using it.

 

Recently I wrote about a lawsuit by the Free Speech Coalition against the State of Utah over a similar law in the Beehive State.The Free Speech Coalition also represents Pornhub; however, the group has not decided if it will file a suit in Virginia. WRIC reports that back in March, Alison Boden, who is the coalition’s executive director, sent a letter to Gov. Glenn Youngkin urging him to veto the original bill. The letter said in part, “Adult content — even material harmful to minors — is First Amendment-protected speech and the Supreme Court has ruled repeatedly that restrictions on its production and consumption face the highest legal bar: strict scrutiny.”

 

MindGeek doesn’t care about free speech. Porn is big money, and MindGeek and its associates want as much of that money as they can get, no matter what the human damage may be.

Study: 10K More Babies Born After Texas Pro-Life Law

A new study estimated that almost 10,000 more babies were born after the Texas Heartbeat Law went into effect, indicating a causal relationship. Pro-life legislation saves lives!

A recent estimate said that up to 200,000 babies have been saved from abortion since the Dobbs v. Jackson Supreme Court ruling overturned Roe v. Wade and Casey. But it’s not just federal government rulings that have saved lives. Thousands of unborn babies are also being saved through pro-life state laws restricting or banning abortions.

 

The new Johns Hopkins study published on the American Medical Association’s JAMA Network found an increase of thousands of babies born in Texas following the Texas Heartbeat Bill becoming law in 2021. While that is not a complete establishment of a causal relationship, the study definitely showed a link. Disturbingly, however, the researchers were upset at the findings, arguing that the increase in the number of babies not aborted was indicative of a problem. From the study summary:

 

Texas’ Senate Bill 8 (SB8) became law on September 1, 2021, banning abortions as early as 5 weeks after the start of one’s last menstrual period. In the first month after SB8 went into effect, the total number of facility-based abortions provided to pregnant Texas residents in Texas or 1 of the 6 adjacent states decreased by 38% (2171 fewer abortions)…This study evaluated changes in the number of births in Texas associated with Texas’ SB8 policy.

 

LifeNews reported on the full study, which is not directly accessible to the public. The outlet quoted one study author, Alison Gemmill, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Bloomberg School’s Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health, as saying, “Although our study doesn’t detail why these extra births occurred, our findings strongly suggest that a considerable number of pregnant individuals in Texas were unable to overcome barriers to abortion access.” It’s amazing how doctors can be sorry that more precious, irreplaceable humans were born.

 

As the first state allowed to enforce a “pre-viability abortion ban” since Roe in 1973, Texas was banning “elective abortions” on babies with detectable heartbeats a full ten months before the historic Dobbs decision, LifeNews explained.

 

During that time period, the study from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health suggests at least 9,799 unborn babies were saved from abortion and later were born in 2022…the research suggests the Texas law saved about 1,225 babies from abortion every month. Six more months have passed since December, meaning approximately 7,350 more babies likely also have been spared from violent abortion deaths.

 

The Johns Hopkins researchers used all 50 United States’ “monthly live birth data” during their research. LifeNews quotes from Johns Hopkins, “The researchers calculated that there would have been 287,289 live births in Texas from April to December 2022 had the abortion ban not gone into effect in September 2021. The number of observed births during this period was 297,088, a difference of 9,799.”

 

Unfortunately, the researchers saw this pro-life victory as a problem. More “birthing people” are carrying “unwanted” pregnancies to term, one woke researcher mourned.

 

Imagine if all the resources poured into advertising and performing abortions were used instead to help women facing unplanned pregnancies. Why do leftists always demand more baby murder as a solution instead of actually trying to help the mothers and babies?

 

What if more women knew that there’s actually a waiting list of two million couples wanting to adopt babies in America (that includes Down syndrome babies)? What if more aid were given to the pro-life crisis pregnancy centers that already outnumber abortion clinics by an estimated 3 to 1 across America? How many women are informed that having an abortion puts women at risk of mental health issues, suicide, and other serious issues, and that abortion is never necessary to save a mother’s life?

 

Abortion is not a solution — it’s murder. And it is wonderful that Texas and other pro-life states are saving thousands of babies from abortion.

Michigan Could Put You in Prison for ‘Misgendering’

In Canada “misgendering” an individual is considered a hate crime ever since the Canadian Human Rights Act and the Criminal Code were amended in 2017 to include “gender identity” and “gender expression” as protected classes. In 2019, a father in British Columbia was found guilty of “family violence” for not referring to his daughter by her preferred pronouns.

 

We can’t write this off as Canadian craziness anymore. A recently passed bill in Michigan, HB 4474, seeks to make it a felony to “intimidate” someone by using the “wrong pronouns,” also known as “misgendering.”

 

According to the bill, “‘Intimidate’ means a willful course of conduct involving repeated or continuing harassment of another individual that would cause a reasonable individual to feel terrorized, frightened, or threatened, and that actually causes the victim to feel terrorized, frightened, or threatened.”

 

The bill does not define harassment but defines gender identity or expression as “having or being perceived as having a gender-related self-identity or expression whether or not associated with an individual’s assigned sex at birth.”

 

In other words, the state literally wants to force citizens to “affirm” the gender identity of transgender people. If the bill becomes law and you don’t affirm the gender identity of transgender or non-binary people, you risk a fine of $10,000 or as much as five years in prison.

 

Those accused of misgendering people could potentially get their sentence reduced if they submit to woke re-education. The bill states that a sentence can be reduced by no more than 20% if the defendant agrees to community service “intended to enhance the offender’s understanding of the impact of the offense upon the victim and wider community.”

 

In a vote of 59-50, the bill was successfully passed by the Democrat-controlled state House and now moves to the Democrat-controlled State Senate, where it will likely pass, and inevitably Gov. Gretchen Whitmer will sign it.

 

So Michigan could throw you in prison if you refuse to use someone’s “preferred pronouns.” If you’re like me, you couldn’t care less what someone’s preferred pronouns are, so if you encounter a person who is a biological male, you’ll refer to him as such. If she’s a biological female, you’ll do the same.

 

While I’m sure that, if the law passes, it will immediately face challenges in the courts, the idea that such a bill could pass in a state house is disconcerting. Whenever it has the power to do so, the radical left seeks to not only ban certain forms of speech but also to compel speech. Frankly, this isn’t anything new.

 

The Supreme Court just decided on Friday that Colorado’s anti-discrimination law effectively compelled speech by forcing a graphic designer to create wedding websites for same-sex marriages against her religious beliefs. Make no mistake about it: the radical left will keep trying things like this, and if we don’t fight like hell to preserve a conservative majority on the Supreme Court, free speech will be a relic of the past.
