JPMorgan board member Jim Crown dies in an accident

NEW YORK (Reuters) - JPMorgan Chase & Co. board member Jim Crown died on Sunday in an accident, it said in a memo from JPMorgan's CEO Jamie Dimon which was seen by Reuters.

 

"He was an integral part of JPMorgan Chase and our lives, and his presence will be deeply missed," Dimon said in a message to the board of directors.

 

The bank gave no further details on the accident.

Crown, 70, was also the chairman and chief executive officer of Henry Crown and Co, a privately owned company that invests in public and private securities, real estate, and operating companies.

 

He was also the chairman of The Aspen Institute, and trustee of the Museum of Science and Industry and the University of Chicago and served as a lead director of General Dynamics Corporation.

Billionaire James Crown dies in crash at Colorado racetrack

A prominent Chicago billionaire died in a car crash Sunday at a racetrack in Colorado, officials said.

 

James Crown, a businessman and socialite who was part of Chicago's wealthy Crown family, suffered evident blunt force trauma after failing to navigate a turn and hitting an impact barrier at Aspen Motorsports Park in Woody Creek, the Pitkin County Coroner's Office said in a news release. A final cause of death for Crown is still unknown pending an investigation by the coroner's office.

 

Crown, who owned the Aspen Skiing Company, among other business ventures, was 70 years old at the time of his death. The fatal crash has been ruled an accident by the coroner in Pitkin County, where Crown lived part time in addition to Chicago.

 

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson shared a statement with CBS Chicago in response to the news of Crown's death, telling the station that he was "devastated" when he heard about the crash.

 

"A lifelong Chicagoan, Jim gave back to the city through philanthropy and leadership on a number of civic and academic boards as he was deeply committed to investing in Chicago and its people," Johnson said in the statement.

 

"With his generosity, Jim truly embodied the soul of Chicago. I was especially grateful for his commitment to work collaboratively with my administration to build a safer Chicago, having met recently to share ideas. I send my deepest condolences to his wife, four children, grandchildren, and the entire Crown family and pray for their peace," the mayor continued.

 

Crown was a member of the Civic Committee of the Commercial Club of Chicago, a nonprofit community organization, according to CBS Chicago. He recently helped launch an initiative with the Civic Committee that aimed to raise tens of millions of dollars over the next several years to help reduce crime in Chicago by working with local organizations and leaders. Crown said earlier this month that the new initiative aims to improve safety throughout the city.

China comments on Wagner mutiny

Beijing has backed Moscow’s efforts to maintain national stability in light of the aborted rebellion

 

Beijing fully supports Russia’s efforts to stabilize the situation in the country following the aborted insurrection by the Wagner private military company, the Chinese Foreign Ministry has stated.

 

The ministry posted a response on its websiteon Sunday after journalists requested a statement on China’s official position on the matter.

 

“This is Russia’s internal affairs,” a spokesperson for the ministry said. “As a friendly neighbor and a comprehensive strategic partner of coordination in the new era, China supports Russia in maintaining national stability and achieving development and prosperity,” the official added.

 

On Sunday, Russia’s Foreign Ministry announced it had held talks with Beijing on a number of issues, including the rebellion. According to a statement on the ministry’s Telegram channel, Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko had met with Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang during a working trip to Beijing.

 

“The Chinese side expressed support for the efforts of the leadership of the Russian Federation to stabilize the situation in the country in connection with the events of June 24, and reaffirmed its interest in strengthening the cohesion and further prosperity of Russia,”the Russian ministry said in a statement.

 

It also noted that the two nations assessed the current state of relations highly, and confirmed their readiness to develop them even further.

 

The Wagner PMC launched its mutiny late on Friday. Its chief, Evgeny Prigozhin, announced a “march of justice” to Moscow after accusing the Russian military of striking one of the group’s field camps. The Russian Defense Ministry rejected his claim as a “provocation.”On Saturday, Wagner forces seized control of a military HQ in the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don and began moving towards the capital.

 

In an address to the nation on Saturday morning, Russian President Vladimir Putin labeled Wagner’s actions as treason and the “backstabbing of our country and our people.”

 

Later in the day, Prigozhin agreed to end the uprising and withdrew his forces in exchange for “security guarantees,” as part of a deal brokered by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. The Wagner chief cited the desire to avoid bloodshed as the reason behind the decision.

Ukraine has lost 15% of US-supplied Bradley fighting vehicles – NYT

The newspaper quoted anonymous officials as acknowledging that Kiev’s counteroffensive is “behind schedule”

 

Ukraine’s counteroffensive has already cost itmore than a dozen Bradley fighting vehiclesprovided by Washington, the New York Times has reported, citing anonymous US officials. Since Kiev began its operation at the start of June, the Russian Defense Ministry has claimed its forces have destroyed dozens of Ukrainian armored vehicles and tanks, including Western-made ones.

 

According to an article published by the NYT on Monday,17 of the 113 Bradleyssupplied to Ukraine by the US have been damaged or destroyed.

 

Particularly dangerous for advancing Ukrainian troops are extensive Russian minefields, the paper explained. The flat,open terrain in southeastern Ukraineis making the counteroffensive an arduous undertaking as Ukrainian troops effectively have nowhere to take cover.

 

The NYT claimed thatRussian KA-52 attack helicopters pose an additional threatas they have reportedly managed to conduct missile strikes from outside the range of Ukrainian air defense.

 

As a result, the Ukrainiancounteroffensive has ground to a haltin some areas, with soldiers reassessing their tactics, the newspaper claimed. Kiev’s forces have thus far managed to cover less than half the distance to Russia’s main line of defense, the report added.

 

Ukrainian service members told reporters that the Russians had “dug in, they mined, they are ready.”

 

“Given what the guys are saying, it’s not going as well as they show on TV,” a medic acknowledged.

 

Meanwhile, officials in Kiev, including President Vladimir Zelensky, have attempted to reassure the public that the main battles are still ahead.

 

While Kiev’s backers in the US are publicly calling for patience,one anonymous officialtold the NYT that theunderwhelming results of the Ukrainian counteroffensive have been “sobering.”

 

“They are behind schedule,” the senior administration official conceded, speaking privately to journalists.

 

However, unnamed officials also insisted that given the extensive Russian defenses, the slow pace of the Ukrainian advance was predictable, claiming it was still too early to draw any broad conclusions. (Kek!)

 

Since the start of June, the Russian Defense Ministry has claimed on several occasions that its troops have destroyed Western-supplied military hardware, with Ukraine losing thousands of service members in the process.

 

Moscow has released video clips apparently showing its troops destroying a German-made Leopard tank, French AMX-10 light tanks, and other vehicles.

Supreme Court Associate Justice Clarence Thomas reportedly failed to disclose a 2014 real estate deal with GOP megadonor Harlan Crow.

 

The billionaire then began making improvements to the home, where Thomas's mother was living. Crow indicated he believed the property to be of historical value, given that the justice grew up there.

 

"My intention is to one day create a public museum at the Thomas home dedicated to telling the story of our nation’s second black Supreme Court Justice," he said in a statement. "I approached the Thomas family about my desire to maintain this historic site so future generations could learn about the inspiring life of one of our greatest Americans."

 

Thomas's mother continued to live in the home until at least 2020.

 

News of the undisclosed sales of the Georgia properties follows reports from ProPublica that Thomas and his wife frequently went on vacations with Crow at the billionaire's expense. Thomas has insisted he was not required to report the trips.

Under rules that went into effect on March 14, 2023, justices must disclose many forms of gifts they receive; but exceptions exist if a gift of food, lodging, or entertainment is deemed "personal in nature" and the hospitality has been directly offered by an individual who has a personal relationship to the government official in question.[15] The new rules do however require disclosure of stays at commercial properties as well as private jet travel.[16]

Legal experts cited by ProPublica say that Thomas did not disclose the gifts, violating a financial disclosure law and ethical norms for judges.[14][17] According to Crow, he has "never sought to influence Justice Thomas on any legal or political issue".[3] Democratic lawmakers reacted to the revelations by demanding Thomas' resignation and calling for an investigation.[16]On April 13, 2023, ProPublica reported that Crow had quietly paid Thomas for property occupied by Thomas's mother's home, despite law requiring disclosure of property sales by public officials.[18]Crow said he bought the property with the intent of later turning the home into a public museum dedicated to Thomas. Mr. Dunham was promoted to serve as the FBI detailee for human intelligence matters at the CIA in 2011, and later that year served as an acting assistant legal attaché in Brussels. In mid-2012, Mr. Dunham again served as an acting assistant legal attaché, this time in Stockholm. In 2015, he was promoted to assistant special agent in charge for the Albany Field Office. He returned to FBI Headquarters in 2017 to serve as the section chief of the Leadership Development Program.

 

In 2018, Mr. Dunham was promoted to special agent in charge of the Washington Field Office’s Counterintelligence Division and then its Criminal Division. Mr. Dunham headed back to FBI Headquarters after his promotion to deputy assistant director for Criminal Investigative Division in 2020. In 2021, Mr. Dunham was named assistant director of the Training Division at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

 

Prior to his appointment with the FBI, Mr. Dunham practiced law in Richmond, Virginia. He holds a degree in accounting from the University of Richmond, a master’s degree in security studies from Georgetown University, and a master’s degree in business administration and a Juris Doctor from the College of William and Mary.

Republican Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz and Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene sent a letter Monday to House Appropriations Committee Chairwoman Rep. Kay Granger informing her they plan to use the Holman Rule to defund the Office of the Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in the next available appropriations period.

 

The Daily Caller first obtained a copy of the letter, in which the two GOP lawmakers slam the ATF and explain why they intend to use the Holman Rule to defund the director. The Holman Rule permits amendments to appropriations legislation that would cut the salary of or fire certain federal employees, or otherwise eliminate specific programs.

 

“The ATF has even made it a matter of official policy to shut down gun stores by making perfection the standard in record keeping – a standard the ATF itself could not meet,” the lawmakers wrote in the letter. “Since the Biden Administration has announced its new ‘zero tolerance’ policy in 2021, Federal Firearms Licensees have faced the highest revocation rate in 16 years. This policy has effectively become the death penalty for even the most innocent of clerical errors.”

The French journalist noted that the 2003 invasion of Iraq was an actual war of aggression, based on the lie that Baghdad secretly possessed weapons of mass destruction.

 

“No,” Kerry replied. “Because there’s never even been, you know, a process of direct accusation of President [George W.] Bush himself.”

Likewise, no connection between Baghdad and Al-Qaeda was ever established.

 

The 2003 invasion and the subsequent occupation of Iraq was carried out without UN approval, by what Bush called a ‘coalition of the willing’. The US, the UK, Australia and Poland provided troops for the attack, though Washington later claimed 44 more countries had offered some kind of support.

 

Kerry ran against Bush in 2004 but lost. He later served as secretary of state in the Barack Obama administration, and was appointed climate change ambassador by the current president, Joe Biden, in 2021.

Until very recently, you can think of earth as a farm run by demons and hostile extraterrestrials. The beings who were being farmed were humans, and they were being farmed for their negative emotions. Hence all the division and needless suffering.

 

Could you create a system that creates as much suffering as the system on Earth does, while this suffering-creating-system is operated by mostly good-hearted beings who have to believe in the validity of the system or else they’d revolt? And if you think this is monstrous, well it is. We are working to dismantle that system.

 

But also, there is not that huge of a difference from our point of view between demons farming humans, and humans engaging in factory-farming of animals. In both cases, the beings who are farmed are mistreated horribly.

 

If you are eating products that come from animal factory-farming, and if you are reasonably able to get animal products from non-factory-farming sources, then you might want to reflect on the fact that you are contributing to a system of horrible animal suffering, while at the same time perhaps complaining about certain people in positions of power who are contributing to a system of horrible human suffering.

 

We’re not saying that these things are exactly the same amount of immoral. But still. You can’t create a love-based society if you abuse the most vulnerable among you, and on Earth that’s animals.

 

We’re not just saying this to hopefully encourage some people to stop buying products that come from animal farming. We are also saying this to help you understand how the people in power could be so heartless. In both cases, it’s just people prioritizing their convenience and comfort over the well-being of others, because they don’t mentally think of those others as being who matter, and beings who are on some level part of them and connected to them.

 

Humans are willing to cull their animal herds if that’s convenient, or if that makes the herd easier to manage. Similarly, your so-called elites are willing to cull human herds if that’s convenient, or if that makes the herd easier to manage. Indeed right now they are trying to reduce the human population, in various ways, in order to make the people of Earth easier to manage.

 

Note that the morality of the elite comes from literal hostile aliens and demons, who don’t see themselves as humans (because they’re not) and hence don’t feel bad to treat humans inhumanely. Nowadays the hostile galactics and demons have mostly been cleared up and so it’s mostly humans in charge, but these humans still maintain the morality that they are different from normal humans and that normal human beings can be treated as cattle.

 

So if you are wondering why the elites could treat people so inhumanely, or if you are getting cognitive dissonance from the thought that elites want to reduce the human population, keep in mind that they simply don’t really see themselves as being the same race as you. They see you as something like a sheep-human and see themselves as something like a superior wolf-human. To them, it’s partly just culling the animal herd to make them easier to manage, and partly it’s the natural order of things that wolves eat the sheep.

IMF Proposes Global Central Bank Digital Currency in Move Toward Cashless Society – So They Can Control the People

 

In a development that seems more dystopian than dynamic, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) announced its plans to develop a global Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) platform. This decision raises significant questions about monetary sovereignty, financial privacy, and global equity.

 

While IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva argued for the need for global CBDCs at a conference attended by African central banks in Rabat, Morocco, critics are skeptical.

 

“CBDCs should not be fragmented national propositions… To have more efficient and fairer transactions we need systems that connect countries: we need interoperability,” Georgieva told a conference.

 

“For this reason at the IMF, we are working on the concept of a global CBDC platform,” she said.

The IMF wants central banks to agree on a common regulatory framework for digital currencies that will allow global interoperability. Failure to agree on a common platform would create a vacuum that would likely be filled by cryptocurrencies, she said.

 

A CBDC is a digital currency controlled by the central bank, while cryptocurrencies are nearly always decentralised.

 

Already 114 central banks are at some stage of CBDC exploration, “with about 10 already crossing the finish line”, she said.

 

“If countries develop CDBCs only for domestic deployment we are underutilizing their capacity,” she added.

 

CBDCs could also help promote financial inclusion and make remittances cheaper, she said, noting that the average cost of money transfers stands at 6.3% amounting to $44 billion annually.

 

Georgieva stressed that CBDCs should be backed by assets and added that cryptocurrencies are an investment opportunity when backed by assets, but when they are not they are a “speculative investment.

Relations between the nuclear superpowers in the last century were based on the assumption that any use would lead to all-out war and the destruction of civilization. The certainty of the inevitability of such a scenario and the fear of its realization meant that atomic bombs were not considered to be battlefield weapons.

Former president and current 2024 frontrunner for the Republican presidential election, Donald Trump, has once again called for principals to be elected so parents can fire them.

Trump discussed his position on the issue during a Saturday speech at the Faith & Freedom Coalition convention in Georgia.

 

“Another top priority will be to expel the communists and these terrible people that have taken over our education system,” Trump said. “I will immediately signed a new executive order to cut federal funding for any school pushing Critical Race Theory, transgender insanity, and other inappropriate racial, sexual or political content on our children.”

 

Trump continued, “I always say this. Can you believe this? Can you imagine saying this 10 or 15 years ago? I will fight for parents’ rights. Of course you fight. The candidate said that he will fight for school choice and give parents more control by making the principal an elected position.

That’s why I will fight for the direct election of school principals by the parents, the parents of the school. If any principal is not getting the job done, the parents should be able to fire them immediately and select someone who will.”

“All New Yorkers deserve to breathe healthy air and wood and coal-fired stoves are among the largest contributors of harmful pollutants in neighborhoods with poor air quality,” DEP spokesman Ted Timbers said in a statement Sunday. “This common-sense rule, developed with restaurant and environmental justice groups, requires a professional review of whether installing emission controls is feasible.”

 

The rule could require pizzerias with such ovens installed prior to May 2016 to buy pricey emission-control devices — with the owner of one Brooklyn joint saying he’s already tossed $20,000 on an air filter system in anticipation of the new mandate.

Blinken Hints At More Russia Unrest To Come: "We Haven't Seen The Last Act"

Secretary of State Antony Blinken suggested on Sunday that the US was expecting more unrest in Russia following Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin’s two-day uprising.

 

“I think we’re in the midst of a moving picture. We haven’t seen the last act. We’re watching it very closely and carefully,” Blinken told CBS News on Sunday.

 

When asked if the US was in touch with Russia about the crisis, Blinken said he instructed his team to engage with Russia to ensure “they understood their responsibilities in terms of protecting our own personnel.” There’s no sign Blinken has attempted to speak with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov about the incident.

 

Blinken said Prigozhin’s dissent showed “real cracks” in Russia. “It was a direct challenge to Putin’s authority. So this raises profound questions. It shows real cracks. We can’t speculate or know exactly where that’s gonna go. We do know that Putin has a lot more to answer for in the weeks and months ahead,” he said.

 

French President Emmanuel Macron made similar comments on Sunday, saying the mutiny shows “the divisions that exist within the Russian camp, and the fragility of both its military and its auxillary forces.”

 

Macron said the crisis justifies Western support for Kyiv. “All this should make us very vigilant, and fully justifies the support that we are giving to the Ukrainians in their resistance,” he said.

 

Also on Sunday, President Biden spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about the situation in Russia. “Yesterday’s events exposed the weakness of Putin’s regime,” Zelensky said, according to a press release from his office.

Biden, Zelenskyy Discuss Wagner Mercenary Uprising in Russia

 

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told President Joe Biden about Russian President Vladimir Putin’s weakness, in a phone call on Sunday following the Wagner mercenary group’s military rebellion.

 

“Yesterday’s events exposed the weakness of Putin’s regime,” Zelenskyy said he told Biden, according to a June 25 statement from Ukraine’s presidential office.

 

Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin and his forces seized Rostov-on-Don, a crucial logistical hub for Russia’s war efforts in Ukraine, after accusing Russian military forces of killing a large number of Wagner soldiers at their field camps in Ukraine. The mercenaries then advanced hundreds of miles toward Moscow, but their march was halted after a deal to withdraw was reached.

 

Under the deal, Prigozhin agreed to leave Russia for Belarus and criminal charges against him would be dropped. However, prior to the deal, Putin vowed the rebels would face “inevitable punishment.”

 

Zelenskyy described his conversation with Biden as “positive and inspiring” on Twitter, and thanked the president for the “unflagging support” of Ukraine.

 

“We discussed the course of hostilities and the processes taking place in Russia. The world must put pressure on Russia until international order is restored,” Zelenskyy wrote. “We discussed further expansion of defense cooperation, with an emphasis on long-range weapons.”

 

Zelenskyy said he thanked Biden for providing Ukraine with Patriot defense systems, as well as the president’s support of the “fighter jet coalition.”

 

“It is important to further increase [Ukraine’s] capabilities to protect our skies. In this context, I also thanked him for the support of the fighter jet coalition,” Zelenskyy added.

 

According to a White House readout, Biden and Zelenskyy talked about “recent events” in Russia.

 

“They discussed Ukraine’s ongoing counter-offensive, and President Biden reaffirmed unwavering U.S. support, including through continued security, economic, and humanitarian aid,” the White House said.

 

‘Weakness’

Oleksii Reznikov, Ukraine’s defense minister, also talked with Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin on Sunday.

 

Reznikov wrote on Twitter that he and his U.S. counterpart “talked about recent events in russia.”

 

“We agree that the russian authorities are weak and that withdrawing russian troops from Ukraine is the best choice for the kremlin,” Reznikov wrote. “We also discussed the #UAarmy’s counteroffensive and the next steps in strengthening our Defense Forces.

 

“Things are moving in the right direction. Ukraine will win.”

Sunday Talks – Anthony Blinken Spins a Tale of Woe for Vladimir Putin

Well, I have not written about the events with Wagner in Russia, in part because coincidentallyI have a good source in St Petersburg who told me several days ago to look out for something with Wagner and Putin. Wagner’s leader, Yevgeny Prigozhin, was born in St Pete (Leningrad).

 

Born in 1961, Prigozhin grew up as a somewhat snarky Soviet Robin Hood, a street urchin who flowed invisibly between Finland and Leningrad in a black-market social circle that, well, let’s just say I am familiar with.

 

When he was 20, Prigozhin was arrested for a heist and federally imprisoned for 9 years while the Soviet Union collapsed. When he exited prison Russia was different, and with St Pete now becoming a tourist destination, he joined the capitalist opportunity with a street food vending business.

 

Prigozhin is hard as nails, snarky as hell and very tricky.

 

He is one of the apex gremlins and very much still connected to the streets, very connected. He was never connected to the towers of Russian politics as the West portrays. Prigozhin doesn’t have the pedigree nor the disposition for political power.

 

Let me put it this way, no one knows how to play gremlin mind games against the West better than Yevgeny Prigozhin.He’s a little bit like a less refined Oleg Deripaska, and much scruffier. Also remember, in February 2018, Prigozhin was one of 13 Russians indicted by Andrew Weissmann and Rod Rosenstein for interfering in the American election through the Internet Research Agency, lol {insert eyeroll}.

 

Here’s where it gets interesting. Don’t share this; it’s for CTH audience only. Back in April of this year, a blogger in St Pete named Vladlen Tatarsky (real name Maxim Fomin) was killed by a bomb disguised as a gift for his work reporting on behalf of free people in Russia. The bomb was inside a bust of Tatarsky given to him shortly before he was giving a speech in a cafe. A 26-year-old woman named Darya Trepova gave him the gift; she was arrested and disappeared.

 

Speculation, strong speculation, was that the cafe bomb was a CIA operation, because Tatarsky was considered an enemy of Ukraine. His death was a hit to the pro-Russia morale inside the region. The target, Vladlen Tatarsky, and the head of the Wagner mercenary military units, Yevgeny Prigozhin, were good friends.

 

Prigozhin wanted to go avenge Tatarsky’s death and remove any limits on rules of war/engagement in Ukraine. Prigozhin was willing to create massive civilian casualties in his revenge operation against the Ukraine military (lots of Nazi’s) and the CIA operatives that work with them.

James “Jim” Crown, the 70-year-old businessman, socialite and member of the billionaire Crown family who owns Aspen Skiing Co., died Sunday in a crash at the Aspen Motorsports Park in Woody Creek.

 

The Pitkin County Coroner’s Office says he collided with an impact barrier at the member-owned, country club motorsports park. The club’s website says it offers a track for racing cars as well as a go-kart track.

 

“The official cause of death is pending autopsy although multiple blunt force trauma is evident,” the coroner’s office said in a news release. “The manner is accident.”

 

The crash is being investigated by the coroner’s office, as well as the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office and the Colorado State Patrol. A spokesman for the State Patrol said the agency was called to the scene at about 2:45 p.m.

 

“Due to the ongoing investigation, no further details will be released at this time,” the news release said.

At the time of his death, Crown — who lived in Chicago but frequented Colorado — was the chairman emeritus of the board overseeing the Aspen Institute, which this week is hosting the Aspen Ideas Festival in Aspen. He was also a managing partner of Aspen Skiing Co.

“The Crown family is deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Jim Crown in an accident earlier today,” Aspen Skiing Co. said in a written statement released Sunday. “The family requests that their privacy be respected at this difficult time. Further details regarding plans for a memorial to remember Jim’s remarkable life will be released at a later date.”

 

Crown is survived by his wife, as well as four children. He is also survived by his parents.

 

The Aspen Daily News reports Sunday was Crown’s 70th birthday.

Why are NATO intelligence assets and heavy weapons in South Ukraine Nuclear Power Plant?

 

Amid numerous disturbing reports about possible false flag operations involving nuclear devices and weapons, the Kiev regime seems to be escalating its actions in this regard. According to various local sources, the South Ukraine Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), located in the city of Yuzhnoukrainsk in the Nikolayev region (oblast), has been effectively taken over by the Neo-Nazi junta forces. Worse yet, the “guards” are offering no explanation for their behavior, nor does anyone else, be it the military or civilian authorities. In essence, nobody really knows for sure, but many people are skeptical (to say the least). The “guards” have even placed what can only be described as ammunition crates inside the NPP. And it doesn’t seem to be small arms ammunition, but something much bigger, such as shells or even rockets, all of which have foreign markings. For over a year, there have been numerous reports about the Kiev regime hiding NATO-sourced weapons there, obviously in an attempt to prevent their destruction. Needless to say, having any sort of weapons at a nuclear facility of any kind is suicidal in and of itself, but having shells and rockets stored there is simply criminal.

 

This is particularly dangerous as the political West and the Neo-Nazi junta have been insisting that Russia is supposedly planning to use a tactical nuclear weapon in Ukraine, supposedly due to mythical “battlefield losses”. On the other hand, Moscow has repeatedly issued warnings about the Kiev regime’s plans to build a so-called “dirty bomb”, for which it has more than enough enriched uranium stored in several Soviet-era NPPs across Ukraine. The previous scenario is extremely unlikely, as it’s not in Russia’s interest to use nuclear weapons. However, Moscow’s “dirty bomb” warnings are certainly not to be dismissed, as the Neo-Nazi junta has been threatening to acquire nuclear weapons for years. This includes threats by the Kiev regime frontman Volodymyr Zelensky himself.

In a truly awful case, Dana Rivers, a male killer, was sentenced to life without parole for brutally murdering a lesbian couple and their son. Despite the depravity of the crime, Rivers, who now identifies as a woman, was sent to a women’s prison. In 2016, Dana Rivers, a once-feted campaigner for ‘trans rights’, brutally murdered a middle-aged lesbian couple and their teenage son in Oakland, California. Last week, after years in custody and countless legal delays, Rivers (formerly known as David Chester Warfield) was finally sentenced to life without parole. And then came a particularly grim twist. This male killer of two women was sent to a women-only prison to live out his days.

 

If anything captures the dangerous grip gender ideology now has over American public life it is surely this: a man who murdered a lesbian couple being sent to a women-only jail. And what makes it worse is that the Rivers trial has almost been completely ignored by the wider media, activists and politicians.

 

This was a particularly gruesome case. Prosecutors say Rivers used a handgun, equipped with a silencer, to shoot Charlotte Reed, Patricia Wright and their son, Benny Diambu-Wright. He then stabbed Reed 47 times before setting the family’s garage on fire in an attempt to cover his tracks. The killings were said to be motivated by Reed’s departure from an ‘all-female’ biker gang. Rivers was reportedly the gang’s enforcer.

 

Reflecting on the evidence, the judge said: “This is the most depraved crime I ever handled in the criminal-justice system in 33 years.” And yet despite the sensational nature of the case, it has only been patchily covered by the media and largely ignored by politicians and activists.

 

In any other circumstances the brutal murder of a lesbian couple and their son would have provoked widespread outrage – and Reed, Wright and Diambu-Wright would have been tragic household names. But not here. The perpetrator’s trans identity has not only allowed him access to a women-only prison – it also seems to have insulated him from public scrutiny.

 

The silence from organisations that you’d normally expect to rally to the cause of gay and lesbian rights has been striking. Indeed, just two days after Rivers began his 150-year stretch inside, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) chose to tweet instead about the supposedly unfair treatment of Duane Owen – another trans murderer who had been denied ‘gender-affirming care’ by the state of Florida before his execution. And even the handful of American outlets willing to cover the Rivers trial have politely referred to the murderous man as ‘she’ and ‘her’.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to visit China next month, signaling growing impatience with Washington, as Beijing increasingly throws its weight around in the region, Israeli sources said Monday.

 

While there, the premier is slated to meet with President Xi Jinping and other Chinese leaders. Advanced contacts have been held in recent days between the two leaders’ offices to arrange the visit, the sources said.

 

No dates for the trip were given and no plans for a visit have been announced by Jerusalem or Washington. The Prime Minister’s Office said it had “no comment at present” when contacted. The Chinese embassy in Tel Aviv did not immediately respond to a request for confirmation.

 

The visit is intended, among other reasons, to signal to Washington that Netanyahu has other diplomatic opportunities to pursue, Israeli diplomatic sources told Zman Yisrael, The Times of Israel’s Hebrew sister site on Monday.

 

US President Joe Biden has publicly kept Netanyahu at arm’s length; in March, he said Netanyahu would not be invited in the near term, in the context of the swirling protests in Israel against the government’s plans to remake the judiciary.

 

“Netanyahu is not going to stand and wait for an invitation that is not forthcoming to visit the White House. He is also working in parallel channels,” one diplomatic source said.

 

“China has stepped up its involvement in the Middle East of late, and the prime minister needs to be there in order to represent Israel’s interests,” the source added.

 

China brokered the resumption of diplomatic relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia in March.

Decades-low eighth-grade reading and math scores are no reason to be discouraged, Education Secretary Miguel Cardona said Wednesday, because the Biden administration's "historic" COVID-era school spending is poised to turn the tide. In many districts, a large portion of those funds have already been spent on lucrative staff bonuses.

 

A National Assessment of Educational Progress report published Wednesday found that math and reading scores among U.S. 13-year-olds are at their lowest levels in decades. Cardona responded to those findings by praising "positive results" in student achievement, arguing that the "historic investments and resources" provided by President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan would "reverse the damage." In school districts across the country, however, a large portion of those funds did not go to more tutoring or new school materials. Instead, they funded bonuses for teachers and administrators.

 

In North Carolina, for example, the Wake County Public School System from March 2020 to April 2023 spent 78.5 percent of its total pandemic relief funding on salaries and employee benefits, according to the district. Chicago Public Schools—a district where union teachers repeatedly refused to return to the classroom during COVID—similarly spent 77 percent of its pandemic money on staff bonuses, salaries, and benefits. In Tennessee, meanwhile, the state's comptroller found that a district funneled nearly $28,000 to one administrator alone. And in Nebraska, Lincoln Public Schools attempted to use COVID relief dollars to issue across-the-board teacher bonuses, but the state's Department of Education said no.

 

The use of so-called emergency COVID funds to pay for five-figure staff bonuses reflects the stark divide between Republicans and Democrats on education policy. Democrats generally balk at school choice, shooting down taxpayer funding for charter schools in favor of additional public school spending. For Republicans, that spending is already at an all-time high with little to show for it and showcases the need to pursue alternative options rather than funneling more money to powerful teachers' unions working to pay out their members.

Photojournalist brutally attacked with glass bottle at NYC Pride, suffers brain bleed

 

NJEG Media was transported to a local hospital where he is currently being treated for his injuries, which include a brain bleed as well as glass in his head.

 

While filming in New York City’s Washington Square Park on Sunday evening, following the city’s Pride celebrations, photojournalist and The Post Millennial contributor NJEG Media was attacked, with someone smashing a bottle on the back of his head.

 

"I was filming a fight that broke out while police were starting to clear the area. A person got thrown into me and knocked me down, as soon as I hit the ground someone came up behind me and smashed a large bottle over my head. Then my camera was stolen in the process," NJEG Media told The Post Millennial.

 

He believes that the attack was "random," but was also "intentional."

Catholic Church in California grapples with more than 3,000 lawsuits, alleging child sex abuse

At least a third of the 12 Roman Catholic dioceses in California have either filed for bankruptcy or are contemplating doing so to deal with an influx of lawsuits filed by survivors of childhood sexual abuse after a state law opened a three-year window in which cases were exempted from age limits.

 

More than 3,000 lawsuits have been filed against the Catholic Church in California under a 2019 state law that allowed alleged victims to sue up to the age of 40.

 

Advocates have been stunned by the number of cases that surfaced during the window, which closed at the end of December.

Maybe, in a lifetime gone by, those now choosing to be in the chorus were the Greatest Warriors. The Light of their Being shines most Brightly in a ‘back seat’ position this time around … For perhaps the Soul is weary.

With respect, if this is the case, would it not have been better for such souls to remain in other realms, munching on some chill pills, and let the ones who are raring to get up and at ‘em, take their place?

Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered a choice to the soldiers of the Wagner private military company involved in Saturday's failed armed rebellion. They can either sign a contract with Russia’s Defense Ministry Ministry or other security agencies, return home or move to neighboring Belarus, the Russian leader said in a televised addressed.

 

"The overwhelming majority of the fighters and commanders of the Wagner group are also Russian patriots, devoted to their people and country. They proved this with their courage on the battlefield,” Putin said in his address on Monday evening.

 

The organizers of the insurrection “kept them in the dark and tried using them against their brothers in arms, with whom they fought shoulder to shoulder for the sake of the country and its future,” he said.

 

TheRussian leader thanked the Wagner soldiers and commanders, who “stopped at the last line” and didn’t allow the “fratricidal bloodshed”to take place. He added that the promise he gave during negotiations to settle the crisis will be kept.

 

“You have the opportunity to sign a contract with the Defense Ministry and other law enforcement agencies or return to your family and friends.Anyone, who wants to, can go to Belarus,” Putin said, addressing the members of the private military company.

 

Wagner launched a major mutiny late on Friday on the order of its head, businessman Evgeny Prigozhin. The rebelling troops seized control of the Russian military’s Southern District headquarters in the city of Rostov-on-Don and sent a convoy towards Moscow.

 

Therevolt came to a halt on Saturday night as Prigozhin announced that his men would be returning to their field campsfollowing talks with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. According to Minsk, the negotiations took place in close coordination with Putin.

 

Prigozhin, who said that he launched the insurrection because “they [the Defense Ministry] wanted to disband Wagner PMC,” will leave Russia and “go to Belarus” as a result of the deal, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said. The criminal case against Prigozhin will be dropped, with Wagner fighters, who took part in the mutiny, also avoiding prosecution, he added.

‘Tough Noogies’ – Georgia Won’t Fix Its Dominion Machines. PhD Scientists Are Mortified.

 

Technology experts are warning that the state of Georgia’s election results will continue to be viewed with suspicion if Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger refuses to address the grave concerns published in the recently released Halderman report.

 

“Raffensperger has lumped us with the election deniers,” David Jefferson, a computer scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and an expert on election technology told POLITICO. “But we cannot, out of fear of that confusion, stop talking about these vulnerabilities. They are real, they are there, and they must be addressed.”

 

The Halderman report uncovered nine “critical vulnerabilities” in Dominion Voting Systems’ machines and found that a “dishonest election worker…with just brief access to the scanner’s memory card could violate ballot secrecy and determine how individual voters voted.”

 

But Raffensperger, who is ultimately in charge of election oversight, doesn’t seem concerned, issuing a statement last week claiming, “It’s more likely that I could win the lottery without buying a ticket,” than someone being able to tamper with his Dominion machines undetected. His spokesman, Mike Hassinger, went even further: “If the PhDs don’t like being put in the same category as the Pillow salesman, tough noogies. They should stop saying similar things.”

 

Prof. Alex Halderman himself expressed his disappointment in Raffensperger’s response, calling it “the height of irresponsibility.” Georgia is the only state in the country that mandates the use of Dominion’s ICX system since 2019, instead of simply having it on hand amongst other methods of voting. Texas refused to use it at all, after it failed security tests.

 

John Poulos, the CEO of Dominion, recently predicted the company’s collapse because so many states have lost confidence in Dominion machines since the 2020 presidential election. Governor Ron DeSantis hosted a fundraiser at Dominion’s lawyers’ offices on Friday evening in Washington, D.C.

Barack Obama's Crown Dynasty Connection

 

Chicago's Crown Dynasty financially backs U.S. federal candidate Barack Obama.

Under U.S. federal law an ultra-rich person is not supposed to make a campaign contribution of more than $2,300 per election each year to any one candidate for U.S. federal office. Yet in recent years members of an ultra-rich Chicago-based family, the Crown Dynasty, have apparently been making individual campaign contributions of more than $2,300 per election each year to a federal candidate named Barack Obama. According to the Center for Responsive Politics web site, for instance:

 

In its 1980 edition, Everybody’s Business: An Almanac (by Milton Moskowitz, Michael Katz and Robert Levering) made the following reference to the Crown family of Chicago ’s history of making money from General Dynamics’ weapons manufacturing activity:

 

“General Dynamics, more than any other aerospace company, is dependent on the Pentagon; government defense contracts account for two-thirds of their sales…The power behind the scenes is Henry Crown, a Chicago financier and one of the richest, but least known, men in the country. A group headed by Crown, who was 83 in 1980, owns about 20% of the company. His associates, who sit on the General Dynamics board with him, are his son, Lester Crown, and Chicago industrialist Nathan Cummings, founder of Consolidated Foods…”

 

After Henry Crown's death, General Dynamics sold its F-16 fighter jet production unit and the Crown family reduced its ownership stake in General Dynamics from 20% to 8%. But, according to the General Dynamics web site at www.generaldynamics.com/, in 2005 "General Dynamics Combat Systems” was “becoming the world's preferred supplier of land and amphibious combat systems development, production and support;" and "its product line” included “a full spectrum of armored vehicles, light wheeled reconnaissance vehicles, suspensions, engine transmissions, guns and ammunition handling systems, turret drive systems, and reactive armor and ordnance."

 

The General Dynamics web site also indicated in 2005 that members of the Crown family like Henry Crown & Company President James Crown and Henry Crown & Company Chairman Lester Crown still sat on the General Dynamics corporate board in 2005—between retired Pentagon officials (like former U.S. Under-Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Technology Paul Kaminski, former U.S. Naval Chief of Naval Operations Jay Johnson, former U.S. Army Chief of Staff John Keane, Retired U.S. General George Joulwan and former U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff Lester Lyles) and a former Royal Navy Vice-Admiral for the UK Ministry of Defense named Robert Walmsley.

 

A 2003 press release of the General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems business unit in St. Petersburg, Florida also noted that it had formed "a strategic alliance with Aeronautics Defense Systems, Ltd.," an Israeli firm based in Yavne. Aeronautics Defense Systems Ltd. is the firm that developed the Unmanned Multi-Application System (UMASa) aerial surveillance tool which the Israeli military uses to "provide a real-time 'bird's eye view' of the surveillance area to combatant commanders and airborne command posts." According to then-Israeli Deputy Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, the agreement between General Dynamics and Aeronautics Defense Systems to bring together "both companies' state-of-the art technologies in defense and homeland security" was "additional proof of the technological and commercial benefits that alliances between industries from the U.S. and Israel can produce."

From its investments in Pentagon war contractors like General Dynamics and U.S. real estate, the Crown family has accumulated a family fortune of $3.6 billion, according to a 2004 Forbes magazine estimate. The Jerusalem Post also noted in its February 27, 2005 issue that “the Crown family of Chicago ” is also “well-known for its support of sectarian Jewish causes.” In addition, long-time General Dynamics board member Lester Crown was also a member of the Advisory board of Medis Technologies, a joint venture business partner of Israel Aircraft Industries Ltd. in recent years.

 

Yet, ironically, the 2008 presidential candidate who apparently is being financially backed by the next generation of the Crown Dynasty seems to be marketing himself these days as "the next generation's anti-war candidate."

In the days when i knew him well, I valued his friendshp highly. i still have a very high opinion of him and his family, even if his German Shepherd did bite me once. Nevertheless i think that he is mistaken about the need for a US war with Iran and I suspect that he has had some effect in causing the US to sponsor an all but hopeless negotiation between Natanyahu and Abbas.

The Crowns are a family worth over 4 billion dollars – Chicago real estate, shares of General Dynamics and owning all four ski areas doesn’t seem to be enough. They own the Little Nell Hotel and recently purchased the Limelight, a huge hotel, and how about all their holdings in Snowmass? They have a dozen or more restaurants, ski and ski rental shops and many other holdings. They are a conglomerate almost impossible to compete with.

 

If you, Mister Ski Instructor or your children or your grandchildren ever want to own a ski shop, start a small hotel, or maybe a restaurant, you will not be able to do so, because the Crown’s have such a monopoly in Aspen. You will not be able to give all the special packages that come with their hotel rooms for ski tickets, ski equipment and rentals, food discounts, etc.. It is not only unfair what the Crowns are doing, it should not be legal. Think further than your present job today.

The three simple electric charge characteristics as it relates to an antenna specifically a dipole antenna are:

The newly isolated moving looped electric field lines of force create magnetic lines of force that are in phase and have the same sign of magnitude. In the electromagnetic field the electric and magnetic fields are combined and in phase but 90 degrees apart or perpendicular to each other in space.

 

The local antenna electric and magnetic fields are called near field which along with properly timed new incoming charges allow for this creation of electromagnetic radiation which becomes the far field. The voltage versus current 90 degree phase relationship in the antenna and new charge timing allow this far field radiation to occur.

Putin addresses Wagner ‘betrayal’

Any attempts at fomenting turmoil among Russians are doomed, the president said

 

Russian President Vladimir Putin credited the patriotic spirit of the nation for avoiding bloodshed over the weekend and again condemned the “treasonous” mutiny by the private military company Wagner, in a speech on Monday evening.

 

Putin thanked President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus for his “contribution to the peaceful resolution of the situation.” He also confirmed the deal struck on Saturday that Wagner members who wish to do so can leave for Belarus, can go home, or can re-enlist with the Russian military.

 

“The promise I made will be fulfilled,” Putin said. “The choice is yours, but I am sure it will be the choice of Russian soldiers who have realized their tragic mistake.”

 

The president thanked the people of Russia for their “endurance, unity and patriotism” and for showing “firm, unambiguous support for the constitutional order.” Attempts to foment internal unrest in Russia are “doomed to failure,” Putin added.

 

The mutiny would have been put down in any case, Putin noted,accusing its organizers of betrayingnot just the country, but their own men, leading them astray into criminal fratricide. (He never names the organizers and doesn’t name Prigozhin, so that means the people who told him that Russia was going to disband Wagner were caught)

 

“They [the West and Ukraine] wanted Russian soldiers to kill each other, so that soldiers and civilians would die, so that in the end Russia would lose, and our society would break apart and choke on bloody civil strife,” the president said. “They rubbed their hands, dreaming of getting revenge for their failures at the front and during the so-called counteroffensive, but they miscalculated.”

 

Putin thanked all of the soldiers, police and special services who remained true to their oath, and noted the “courage and self-sacrifice of the heroic fallen pilots” who saved Russia from tragedy.

 

According to multiple reports, anywhere from two to 20 airmen died after Wagner allegedly shot down a military helicopter and an airplane. TheRussian Defense Ministry has not, however, published an official death toll. (And they won’t there is no death toll, there’s no evidence anything happened! Keeping the FF alive!)

 

According to the president, the “overwhelming majority” of Wagner fighters and commanders are also Russian patriots, who “proved it with their courage on the battlefield, liberating Donbass and Novorossiya.” He said he personally ordered measures intended to avoid bloodshed and to allow those who made a mistake time to rethink their actions. He thanked those Wagner members who “made the right decision, who stopped before crossing the line into fratricidal bloodshed.”

 

On Saturday, as Wagner troops occupied Rostov-on-Don, Putin accused the private military company’s leadership of delivering a “stab in the back” comparable to that of 1917, and of giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
