I have a solution to giving bakers IDs it offers the following advantages;

a. doesn't require constant monitoring

b. easy to set up built into the platform

c. carries between breads

d. is not easy to forge

e. baker's choice to post with or without ID

f. easily removed from bad actors

I think most would agree that just because an anon wants to bake that doesn't mean they should.

Until we can positively ID bakers we'll have a recurring problem with poor quality breads

I'm hoping BO will solve the baker ID problem and a TC is one way to do it

as long as having ID isn't made into a requirement to bake and a baker can choose to post with it or without it we will not run into the problems of the dreaded baker's union

As long as a baker doesn't do either one I think it's a good way to ID bakers

The BO can whitelist baker tripcodes and if the baker misbehaves the BO can easily remove that TC.
