26 Migrants Found Dead in One Texas County this Year

Texas sheriff’s deputies in a county located 80 miles north of the border with Mexico recovered the bodies or remains of at least 26 migrants so far this year. The migrants mostly died while crossing through ranches to circumvent a U.S. Border Patrol immigration checkpoint.

Brooks County Sheriff Benny Martinez told Breitbart Texas his deputies of 26 migrants between January 1 and July 1. Most of the recoveries involved the collection of skeletal remains scattered by animals and scavenger birds.

“Most of the time, that is all that is left,” Sheriff Martinez told Breitbart Texas. “It doesn’t take long with the animals and the heat for a human body to decay.”

Martinez said he is grateful the death rate is lower this year. In July 2022, Breitbart Texas reported Martinez’s deputies had recovered the bodies or remains of 55 migrants.

The circumstances surrounding body recoveries fall into several categories. Some die shortly before or just after law enforcement officials respond to emergency calls for help from the migrants or their families, the Texas sheriff said at the time. Others are either found days later by ranchers or Border Patrol agents or when they are reported by other migrants who are apprehended at a later time. Finally, he said, “Some have been consumed by animals and the elements and only bones remain to tell their stories.”

Martinez blamed the callous human smugglers for the deaths of the migrants. “These smugglers have no regard for the value of human life,” he explained. “Many migrants are not prepared for the strenuous conditions they face when trying to hike in this terrain. The soft sand on the ranches makes one mile feel like three.”

BBC expelled from Syria after platforming proscribed terrorist group in Idlib

On the 9th July the BBC published an article confirming that the Syrian government had canceled the BBC’s accreditation in Syria. The article made clear what I already knew that the final straw for the Syrian government had been the BBC Arabic Captagon report that claims to have found links between the Captagon drug trade and leading members of the ‘Syrian Armed forces and Mr Assad’s family’.

The Syrian government cited the BBC’s history of “biased and misleading reports” as the basis for the decision and stated that the BBC failed to adhere to professional standards.

It also said that the BBC was warned “more than once”, but “continued to broadcast its misleading reports based on statements… from terrorist entities and those hostile to Syria”.

The BBC said “it provided impartial, independent journalism” despite receiving funding from the UK regime. It also claimed that “we speak to people across the political spectrum to establish the facts”. This article will prove that this claim is not only false but that the BBC platformed a UK/US-proscribed terrorist organisation and individuals to criminalise the Syrian armed forces and Presidency.

Pentagon typo leaked millions of sensitive items to Russia-ally nation in Africa

President Joe Biden’s Defense Department accidentally sent millions of emails and messages with sensitive information to the Russian-ally nation of Mali, the Pentagon confirmed. Officials said the communications were misdirected due to a common typo.

If you picked the second option, congratulations: You've just described the folly of American drug policy for the past 40 years.

We've long known that MDMA, more popularly known as Molly or Ecstasy, is an effective treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Israel has used it for this purpose since 2019.

But there is also some preliminary evidence that the drug can turn haters into lovers, making it a powerful potential tool for deradicalization.

The FDA is expected to approve MDMA and psilocybin, also known as psychedelic mushrooms, for PTSD therapy within the next two years. But further progress on more experimental fronts has long been delayed by regulatory hurdles.

At a time when hate, extremism and intolerance threaten to tear America apart, it is mind-boggling that we are not pushing to better understand how MDMA and other psychedelics can bring people together, or aid efforts to deradicalize people lost to hate.

The most promising evidence of MDMA's effects on hate was discovered by accident. During the conclusion of a 2020 University of Chicago double blind study on the effect of MDMA on social touch, one participant known as "Brandon" revealed to researchers that he led the Midwest branch of Identity Evropa, a white nationalist group that played a key role in the 2017 "Unite the Right!" rally — and that taking MDMA had led him to a life-changing revelation.

A Muslim individual explained to Trudeau where the community was coming from, according to the video. "I ask you, Mr. Prime Minister, please protect our culture, our belief, the sin that you are doing to them."

He responded, "First of all, there is an awful lot of misinformation and disinformation out there [from] people on social media, particularly fueled by the American right-wing are spreading a lot of untruths about what is actually… in the curriculum."

Trudeau's office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

On June 25, in Calgary, Alberta, hundreds of protesters screamed "Leave our kids alone!" and "Our kids, our choice!"

"My brothers and my sisters. We cannot stay hidden anymore for [the issue is]… getting closer to each and every one of us," said Mahmoud Mourra at the event. However, one sword ought to be subordinated to the other and temporal authority, subjected to spiritual power. For since the Apostle said: ‘There is no power except from God and the things that are, are ordained of God‘ [Rom 13:1-2], but they would not be ordained if one sword were not subordinated to the other and if the inferior one, as it were, were not led upwards by the other.

For, according to the Blessed Dionysius, it is a law of the divinity that the lowest things reach the highest place by intermediaries. Then, according to the order of the universe, all things are not led back to order equally and immediately, but the lowest by the intermediary, and the inferior by the superior. Hence we must recognize the more clearly that spiritual power surpasses in dignity and in nobility any temporal power whatever, as spiritual things surpass the temporal. Like most legal defense teams in major criminal cases, Archer’s lawyers had the vast tranche of documents the FBI returned to them during trial discovery and digitized memos so they could be quickly searched in trial preparation.

“I was 11 and looked 9. She would choose me once every two or three times,” she recalls. “She would take me to her office, lock the door, and then draw the curtains. After which she would put me on her knees to make me read the gospel according to Saint Paul or another saint, while she squeezed me with one hand to her chest and pulled down my panties with the other hand. We were of course in pleated skirts and not in pants. It terrified me and paralyzed.”

“Marie” couldn’t talk to her devout Catholic parents about the abuse until a friend convinced her to do so. The result, she says, was catastrophic. “You are really a pervert, a vicious liar. How dare you say such things?” her parents told her. In fact, her parents had told the nuns that she was being sent to boarding school because she needed to be tamed. “I was truly [a gift] for this nun… because she knew full well that she did not risk anything.” The abuse lasted the whole year. The commission spent nearly three years combing through complaints and press reports and interviewing victims going back to the 1950s. Of the 3,000 abusers identified by the commission, two-thirds are priests. They found that priests and nuns alone abused around 216,000 children, but that the number climbs to 330,000 when they counted abuse at the hands of non-clergy who worked in Catholic schools and other institutions. The report only covers minors; the authors, who include scholars, psychologists, and law enforcement officials, say there could be many young men and women over the age of 18 who were also victims.

Their summary is damning, determining that the Catholic Church in France showed “a deep, cruel indifference toward victims.” Olivier Savignac was another of those victims. He wanted to believe the priest in his home parish in France was a devout man. But when the priest asked him to take off his clothes and lie on the bed in a room at a Catholic summer camp when he was 13 years old, he knew something wasn’t right. “I perceived this priest as someone who was good, a caring person who would not harm me,” said Savignac, who now heads a group for victims of clerical sex abuse. “But it was when I found myself on that bed half-naked and he was touching me that I realized something was wrong.” Savignac says the abuse, which went on for years, damaged him for life: “It’s like a growing cyst, it’s like gangrene inside the victim’s body and the victim’s psyche.”

Only 22 of the thousands of cases of criminal pedophilia qualify under French law for legal action. More than 40 cases that are past the statutes of limitations have been forwarded to the French Catholic Church in hopes that the perpetrators will be punished. On average, each perpetrator abused 70 children. The president of the French Conference of Bishops, Eric de Moulins-Beaufort, said the church is “appalled” by the report. “I wish on that day to ask for pardon, pardon to each of you,” he told the victims. Pope Francis also expressed “sorrow” over the findings, saying he will pray for those affected. “His first thoughts are with the victims, with great sadness for their wounds,” Francis said in a statement through his press office, adding that he hoped the French church would now “undertake a way of redemption.”

Survivor Francois Devaux, who founded the victims' group La Parole Liberee, attended the presentation of the report. “You are a disgrace to our humanity,” he said, addressing the church as a whole.

“In this hell, there have been abominable mass crimes… but there has been even worse: betrayal of trust, betrayal of morale, betrayal of children.”

A pod of 55 pilot whales have died following a “mass stranding” on a Scottish beach.

Marine rescuers swarmed the coastline at Traigh Mhor in North Tolsta, on the Isle of Lewis, to reports that dozens of the mammals were struggling in the area on Sunday morning.

Marine medics armed with first aid kits desperately tried to save the whales but only one was successfully swam back in the sea.

It is estimated at least 55 pilot whales washed up on the beach.

One of the dead whales appeared to have had a vaginal prolapse – so it’s currently suspected the whole pod stranded due to one female giving birth.

Pilot whales are small whales characterised as part of the dolphin family.

A statement from the BDMLR on Sunday said: "This morning (Sunday 16th July 2023) around 7am, BDMLR were alerted to a mass stranding of around 55 pilot whales on the Isle of Lewis, Scotland.

"Unfortunately, none (apart from one that was refloated early on) survived the ordeal - the last animals were declared deceased at about 3:30pm.

"This was an incredibly complex rescue – the signal was extremely poor in such a remote area with our Medics often having to drive 1-5 miles to get service to communicate with Rescue Coordinators at Head Office.

"Medics from surrounding areas also prepared their kits and made their way to the island from the mainland.

"Rescue Coordinators even facilitated flying in more refloatation pontoons from various regions across England and Scotland via Civil Air Support."

The rescuers said earlier: “The reason for the whales stranding is currently unknown, but pilot whales are notorious for their strong social bonds, so often, when one whale gets into difficulty and strands, the rest follow, leading to more of them stranding."

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Officers are currently assisting partners with a number of stranded pilot whales on the beach at Tolsta, Stornoway.

“To allow the dolphins the best chance of survival, please avoid the area.”

ROME—A jarring report outlining decades of rampant child sex abuse at the hands of greedy nuns and perverted priests paints a troubling picture of systematic abuse in the German church.

The report is the byproduct of a lawsuit alleging that orphaned boys living in the boarding houses of the Order of the Sisters of the Divine Redeemer were sold or loaned for weeks at a time to predatory priests and businessmen in a sick rape trade. The men involved in the lawsuit say as boys they were denied being adopted out or sent to foster families because selling them for rape lined the sisters’ coffers for their “convent of horrors.” Some of the boys were then groomed to be sex slaves to perverts, the report claims.

The alleged abuse went on for years, with one of the males claiming the nuns even frequently visited their college dorms after they had left the convent. He said the nuns often drugged him and delivered him to predators’ apartments. The Order of Sisters of the Divine Redeemer did not answer multiple requests for comment about the allegations. A second lawsuit, first reported by Deutsche Welle last year, comes after a separate case against the German church led by 63-year-old Karl Haucke who demanded the Archdiocese of Cologne carry out a full investigation into clerical sex crimes, which it concluded in January 2021. But the details of that investigative report were so horrific that Archbishop Reiner Maria Woelki refused to make it public, demanding that any journalists who see it sign confidentiality agreements. Eight German journalists walked out of a press conference in January after being denied access to the church’s investigation unless they agreed not to publish its contents. Haucke says he was abused at least once a week between the ages of 11 and 14, often by more than one priest. “We had no words to describe what was being done to us. Nor did we know what it meant. And it did not stop at physical pain. We had a clear sense of humiliation and being used,” he told Deutsche Welle when the report was due to be released. He called the stifling of the report's release in January “scandalous” and said that denying the journalists the right to publish the report was “like being abused all over again.”

Several lawyers with access to the 560-page report on the nuns have shared segments with news outlets, including The Daily Beast. The report names various German businessmen and complicit clergy who “rented” the young boys from the nuns who ran a convent in Speyer, Germany between the 1960s and 1970s. Among the worst instances of abuse were gang bangs and orgies the young boys were forced to participate in before being returned to the convent where the nuns would then punish them for wrinkling their clothing or being covered in semen.

“Bishop Karl-Heinz Wiesmann, who now leads the archdiocese, said that the abuse report was ‘so gory’ it would be too shocking to make public.” The report finds that 175 people, mostly boys between the ages of 8 and 14, were abused over two decades. But it failed to blame the nuns directly, instead saying “systematic” management errors and “leniency” for those who were accused by the children enabled the abuse to continue.

Even if the US were to go as far as removing all of its troops from South Korea in exchange for permanent denuclearization by Pyongyang, it could redeploy strategic weapons to the peninsula within 10 hours and bring back enough soldiers to resume joint exercises within 20 days, Kim said. She added that any promises made by the current administrations in Washington and Seoul could be “instantly reversed” when their successors come to power,such as when Biden replaced Donald Trump in the White House.

Similarly, Kim said the US and its allies could easily renege on diplomatic concessions. “It is as easy as pie for the US political circles to exclude the DPRK from the list of ‘sponsors of terrorism’ today but re-list it tomorrow.”She claimed that tensions in the region have escalated on Biden’s watchto the point that “the possibility of an actual armed conflict and even the outbreak of a nuclear war is debated.”

It is June 6 1969 and Spain is living through the final years of Franco’s dictatorship. At a clinic in Madrid, a woman gives birth to a baby girl she will never see again.

Little is known about what happened to that mother – but almost 50 years later, her daughter Inés Madrigal has just given evidence in a shocking trial.

In the dock was Dr Eduardo Vela, an 85-year-old former gynaecologist accused of stealing Inés from her biological mother.

Vela is alleged to have given the baby as a “gift” to a couple, the Madrigals, who were unable to have their own children. He denies the charges.

Despite the cinematic plot, this is not an isolated case. A network of baby trafficking is believed to have involved a vast network of doctors, nurses, nuns and priests.

Although there is no official figure, the SOS Stolen Babies association estimates that as many as 300,000 babies were taken from their parents in Spain between 1939 and the 1990s.

Now 49, Inés Madrigal works for the association and is the first “stolen baby” to successfully take an alleged perpetrator of one of these crimes to court.

Top official defends Budapest’s anti-LGBTQ policies

A Foreign Ministry official blasted Western ambassadors who signed a joint call for the Hungarian government to repeal LGBTQ propaganda laws

A senior official from Hungary’s Foreign Ministry has blasted foreign embassies in Budapest for interfering in the country’s internal affairs – after ambassadors from Germany, the US, and 36 other countries signed a joint statement calling on Viktor Orban’s government to repeal anti-LGBTQ laws.

Ahead of an LGBTQ Pride event in Budapest on Saturday, Tamas Menczer, the secretary of state responsible for bilateral relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, released a ten-point response to the Western ambassadors,vowing to protect Hungarian children from LGBTQ propaganda“even if they put pressure on us and attack us.”

Menczer went on to say that instead of worrying about LGBTQ laws in Hungary, countries such as France, Sweden, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Germany, and the US should address their own problems, such as migrant riots, rising crime, drugs, andquestionable elections.

“I could go on and on with the countries of all the signatory ambassadors,” the MP wrote, adding that the foreign ambassadors “are not governors here, andHungary is not a colony.”

“I am amazed that, despite the serious problems of democracy mentioned above in their country, they deal with the internal affairs of another country,” Menczer said.

The official added that “such behavior is completely foreign to Hungarian foreign policy”and stressed that Hungarian ambassadors “always treat the host country with respect and never comment on internal affairs.”

Viktor Orban’s 2021 anti-LGBTQ propaganda law has been the topic of heated debate in the EU, with the European Commission, European Parliament, and over a dozen EU states filing a joint lawsuit against Hungary, arguing that the law violates the rights of LGBTQ individuals and infringes on free speech.

Orban’s government insists that the law only aims to protect children and does not target the LGBTQ community.

The Children Protection Act, which was originally designed to tackle pedophilia and safeguard children’s wellbeing, prohibits the display of content depicting or promoting homosexuality and gender reassignment to those under the age of 18.

Senate Democrats are advancing a doomed Supreme Court “ethics” bill that would withhold $10 million in funding from Chief Justice John Roberts until the Supreme Court has “put into effect a code” for all justices.

The Senate doesn’t have the power to dictate how the Supreme Court conducts its business — any more than SCOTUS has the power to prescribe rules for the Senate. They know it. Then again, the effort to intimidate and delegitimize the court is meant to corrode constitutional governance, so perhaps the bill makes a certain amount of perverse sense.

Of course, turning to the likes of Sheldon Whitehouse and Dick Durbin for ethical guidance is much like seeking truth from Adam Schiff. And much like the Russia-collusion hoax, the effort to destroy the Supreme Court is a highly coordinated partisan scheme.

First, anti-court left-wing activist groups cook up some ethics “scandals.” These accusations are then laundered by complicit or credulous leftist media outlets for public consumption. Then, the bogus scoops are held up by partisans as proof of alleged wrongdoing. Everyone, other than perhaps the most gullible partisan hysteric, understands what’s happening.

Each week another ethics “scandal” emerges, one dumber than the next. The stories are divvied out among numerous outlets to saturate the news and create a perception of widespread wrongdoing. Some, such as ProPublica, are paid by pack-the-court groups. Others, such as Politico, Slate, and The New York Times, do it for free.

A recent Guardian hit piece on Clarence Thomas, for example, offers a good example of how all this works. The justice, the paper excitedly reports, received “seven payments” through Venmo accounts in November and December 2019 from lawyers who had once clerked for the justice. Though the amounts were not disclosed — one strongly suspects the minuscule sums would make the story even more preposterous — The Guardian explains that “the purpose of each payment is listed as either ‘Christmas party’, ‘Thomas Christmas Party’, ‘CT Christmas Party’ or ‘CT Xmas party.’”

Now, I’m going to take a wild stab at cracking this whodunnit and speculate that a bunch of people chipped in for a Christmas party. The implication that Thomas threw cases or was paid off or felt an obligation to side with former clerks because they bought him a taco and a beer at a reunion is incomprehensibly stupid. Putin vows retaliation for new Crimean Bridge strike

The blast was yet another “pointless and brutal” terrorist attack by the Kiev regime, the Russian president says

Russian President Vladimir Putin has vowed retaliation for a new strike on the Crimean Bridge, targeted by two Ukrainian naval drones overnight.Exact retaliatory measures are currently being weighed by the country’s Defense Ministry, he said during an extraordinary meeting with senior officials on Monday.

“The incident is a yet another terrorist attack by the Kiev regime. This crime is pointless from the military point of view, since the Crimean Bridge has long not been used for military transport, and brutal, since only innocent civilians were killed and injured,” the president stressed.

Putin said Moscow would retaliate harshly for the attack. The Russian Defense Ministry is already preparing “necessary proposals” for such measures, he added.

The president also urged officials to ramp up security measures around the bridge, noting that this marks the second such blow against it. Both the road and railway sections were heavily damaged last October, when a truck packed with explosives was detonated on the bridge.

“I am waiting for specific proposals to improve the security of this strategically important transport facility,” Putin added.

The bridge received considerable damage in the new attack, with one of its road sections “completely destroyed,” Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, tasked with organizing repairs to the structure, said during the meeting. However, he told the president that the bridge’s pillars had not been damaged in the blast.

“That’s good news. If we can speak about some good news here at all. But the fact that the pillars are not damaged is the most important thing,” Putin replied.

The morning blasts, believed to have been caused by seaborne drones, killed two Russian civilians who were traveling across the bridge in a vehicle, and left their now orphaned 14-year-old daughter injured.

(Note: Russia has never spoke about retaliation before.)

Scotland: “Non-binary” Man Found Guilty of “Indecent Assault” of a Minor Given No Jail Time, Despite Being Repeat Sex Offender

A 32 year old “non-binary” man has been convicted of charges relating to the repeated sexual abuse of a 15 year old boy that began in 2010. The victim was just 15, a minor, at the time the crimes began, while Lucas Cole, or Oliver James Bond as he is now known, was 20. Bond sexually assaulted the minor three times over a six year period from 2010 through 2016.

During the first assault in 2010, Bond “sexually attacked the boy while he was sleeping. The youth woke up to Bond’s penis in his mouth.” During the second attack, Bond grabbed the victim’s genitals and overpowered him. He then pulled down his pants and performed a “sex act” on him. And during the third assault, Bond once again assaulted the victim while he was sleeping.

Bond was convicted on all charges, however, he will not face any time in prison despite being a repeat offender involving sex crimes. In 2018, Bond was convicted of sexually assaulting an intoxicated transgender man. After the incident, Bond changed his own gender-identity to “non-binary”.

In 2018, Bond was found guilty of sexually abusing a trans-identified male in Perth while the victim was intoxicated and could not consent. The court heard that the victim has been sleeping and awoke to find Bond, then known as Lucas Cole, carrying out a sex act on him. Following his 2018 conviction, Bond was handed no jail time and instead was ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work.

The victim was called to provide a statement to the court during the most recent proceedings in order to establish Bond’s history of predatory sexual behavior.

But despite acknowledging that the matter was “serious,” and stating that Bond did not seem to fully grasp the consequences of his criminal behavior, Sheriff David Hall spared Bond any jail time.

“With some hesitation I am going to allow you to remain at liberty. You were convicted by the jury of all three charges,” Hall said, instead placing Bond on the sex offenders register for five years.

Much like his 2018 conviction, Bond will have to perform just 250 hours of unpaid work and complete 18 months of social work supervision. He will also have a curfew for six months. Bond will not serve any jail time, once again. A years-long sexual assault, resulting in a conviction, that began when the victim was a minor, a second occurrence of such a sex crime, and he will walk free.
