the severely arthritic hands of a 60-year-old woman were topically treated with a 14% aqueous solution of gallium nitrate for 90 min. Pain and inflammation from rheumatoid arthritis diminished rapidly, and neither pain nor inflammation returned during the following 2 years from that single treatment. A 61-year-old woman who had osteoarthritis in her left knee, shoulders and wrists was treated orally with 50 ml of a 1% gallium nitrate solution (120 mg elemental gallium) daily using a two week on and two week off protocol, resulting in almost total elimination of pain while on gallium nitrate, while pain partially returned during the two week off periods. I'm going to start today from the beginning.

 

It's important for everyone to understand why the courts refused to hear the cases brought before them concerning the 2020 election fraud.

 

People who hate Trump like to say that he lost all of the cases that were brought before the courts when in reality, the courts refused to hear the cases and here's why:

 

Standing is the legal right to initiate a lawsuit.

 

To do so, a person must be sufficiently affected by the matter at hand, and there must be a case or controversy that can be resolved by legal action.

 

The attorney's and those they represented didn't have "damage done to them" according to the court.

 

Now many of us disagreed with the courts because everyone is damaged by a fraudulent election and to prove that fraud occurred, we needed to prove it in court but we were denied the ability to present evidence, leaving the results in place.

 

President Trump didn't lose the cases brought to the courts, he was denied by the courts the right to present evidence to prove that fraud took place, until now.

 

In Jack Smith's haste to stick to a pre planned timeline that would tie Trump up in court on major event dates during the presidential campaign season, he charged president Trump with imaginary free speech crimes that any first year novice wouldn't have charged using the stolen 2020 election as his target opening the door for president Trump to exercise his due process rights, with subpoena power to finally litigate the 2020 election fraud in a court of law.

 

"Due process is a requirement that legal matters be resolved according to established rules and principles and that individuals be treated fairly. Due process applies to both civil and criminal matters."

Xbox sometimes spins up (used to do full power mode) for no reason.

Used to just turn it off.

Now, whatโ€™s happening is I can hear the hard disk thrashing despite the power cable being removed. It doesnโ€™t happen very often, you hear it more early doors when silence is about.

 

Went to double check and the power source was removed but the hdmi cable was still attached.

Removed cable and will see over the next coming daze if thatโ€™s killed it.

Pakistanโ€™s former prime minister Imran Khan has been arrested after a court in Islamabad sentenced him to three years in jail and disqualified him from politics for โ€œcorrupt practicesโ€ involving the sale of state gifts.

Khan, 70, was picked up by police from his home in Lahore on Saturday after a court ruled on the Toshakaha case, in which he was accused of illegally selling gifts from heads of state worth hundreds of millions of rupees.

The judge found Khan had โ€œdeliberately submitted fake detailsโ€ of the gifts to the court and had been involved in corruption. After expressing his displeasure that Khanโ€™s lawyers were not in court, he sentenced him to three years in prison and ordered him to be banned from politics for five years.

Police surrounded Khanโ€™s home and detained him almost immediately after the judgment was given. According to the state information minister, he was taken to Islamabad.

Khanโ€™s lawyer, Intezar Hussain Panjutha, said they would be appealing against the ruling, calling it a case of โ€œpolitical victimisationโ€.

โ€œKhan was not given an opportunity to defend himself and say his side of the story,โ€ he said. โ€œWe wanted to provide witnesses in his favour but he was not allowed this opportunity. Khan was not given a fair trial.โ€

The ruling and subsequent arrest are likely to be the final nail in the coffin for Khanโ€™s chances of contesting Pakistanโ€™s upcoming general elections, which are scheduled to take place in October or November.

Known for his populist politics, Khan was elected in 2018 with the backing of the countryโ€™s powerful military, but after losing their support he was toppled from power last year in a vote of no confidence.

This is the second time in just a few months that Khan has been arrested since his relationship with the military establishment soured and he began a public campaign against the countryโ€™s top brass, including accusing them of two attempts on his life.

Almost 100 paramilitary troops were involved in Khanโ€™s arrest in May as he entered Islamabad high court to appear in one of the dozens of cases filed against him. A few days later the supreme court ruled his arrest was illegal and ordered his release.

In the aftermath, Khan and members of his political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), have faced a major crackdown. Thousands, including some of the partyโ€™s most senior members, have been arrested. Khan has alleged that the military is behind the attempts to dismantle his party in order to prevent him from running in the next election, and has accused its leader, Gen Asim Munir, of bearing a personal grudge against him.

'Such a restriction is particularly important in this case because the defendant has previously issued public statements on social media regarding witnesses, judges, attorneys and others associated with legal matters pending against him.

'And in recent days, regarding this case, the defendant has issued multiple posts - either specifically or by implication - including the following, which the defendant posted just hours ago.'

Smith then included a screenshot of the Truth Social post.

A Trump spokesperson said the post was 'political speech' and dismissed claims that it was threatening.

'The Truth post cited is the definition of political speech and was in response to the RINO, China-loving, dishonest special interest groups and Super PACs, like the ones funded by the Koch Brothers and the Club for No Growth,' they said.

Feds' Foreign-Corruption Double Standard: They Protected Bidens Even as They Bore Down on Trumpworld

At the same time that Department of Justice officials were using spying and corruption statutes to aggressively pursue Donald Trumpโ€™s allies based on what turned out to be rumor and innuendo, they declined to use those same laws to investigate evidence of wrongdoing involving Biden family members and one of their corrupt Chinese business partners, DOJ documents and federal court records reveal.

 

In 2016-2017, the evidence shows, the FBI raided the offices and intercepted the communications of Chi Ping โ€œPatrickโ€ Ho, a Chinese national suspected of espionage even as he was negotiating business deals with former Vice President Joe Bidenโ€™s son Hunter and brother James.

 

DOJ later used information obtained from the searches and wiretaps โ€“ which included conversations with the current Presidentโ€™s son and brother โ€“ to convict Ho of bribery and money laundering, as part of a separate corruption case involving United Nations officials. But it declined to tap into its trove of evidence โ€“ including โ€œover 100,000 emailsโ€ โ€“ to explore the connections between Ho and the Bidens, who received millions of dollars from Ho and a Chinese intelligence front and discussed sharing office space.

 

At Hoโ€™s 2018 trial, prosecutors hid Hunterโ€™s connection to Ho, redacting his name from court exhibits (see sidebar) while describing Ho as โ€œthe person who flies around the world paying bribes to advance the interest of the oil company [CEFC China Energy],โ€ according to hearing transcripts.

A federal database shows the Bidens failed to register as foreign agents while engaged in activities on behalf of CEFC, a state-owned entity suspected of being a front for Chinese intelligence. Federal anti-spying laws require anyone acting as a lobbyist for a foreign power to register with the Justice Department under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).

 

The DOJ did not prosecute either Biden family member for potential violations of FARA for representing the interests of the Chinese.

This stands in stark contrast to the DOJ's aggressive pursuit of alleged FARA violations involving no fewer than six Trump campaign officials. In August of 2016, shortly after receiving a tip that a low-level Trump campaign volunteer, George Papadopoulos, had allegedly been told that the Russians might have dirt on Hillary Clinton, the bureau opened FARA investigations into Papadopoulos and three other Trump associates with no clear ties to Papadopoulos: national security adviser Michael Flynn; campaign manager Paul Manafort; and campaign adviser Carter Page. The FBI subsequently investigated Manafort's deputy Rick Gates; and Trump's Mideast adviser Walid Phares under the same statute.

 

As RCI has previously reported, the FBI used FARA as the basis for a wide-ranging probe that included tailing them, staking out their homes, digging through their trash, and using confidential sources to secretly record them. Only one of the six was convicted for FARA-related violations, and none was charged with any espionage or conspiracy crimes involving Russia.

Deception by Redaction: More FBI FISA Abuses, This Time Using Fake News in the Washington Post

FBI Director Christopher Wray just last month told Congress he has instituted reforms in response to FISA surveillance abuses, yet at the same time he appears to have tried to hide the full extent of those abuses under redactions.

 

The FBIโ€™s efforts to mislead a federal court in order to wiretap an adviser to the Trump campaign were more extensive than previously reported, according to classified documents described to RealClearInvestigations.

The embattled bureau tried to hide its misconduct by redacting information about its actions under the guise that it involved sensitive intelligence information. RCI has learned that at least some of the redacted material, included in a โ€œClassified Appendixโ€ to Special Counsel John Durhamโ€™s final report, has nothing to do with protecting โ€œsources and methodsโ€ and other โ€œsensitiveโ€ investigative techniques.

 

Instead, it covers up additional improper behavior by the FBI brass, which initiated and signed off on all four of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act applications to spy on former Trump adviser Carter Page and his contacts within the Trump campaign and presidency in 2016 and 2017.

 

For example, the FBI tried to justify continuing to spy on Page in early 2017 by indicating to the secret FISA court that it had verified a rumor aboutโ€ฏPage receiving dirt on Hillary Clinton from the Russian government and facilitating a โ€œwell-developed conspiracy of cooperationโ€ with the Kremlin to swing the 2016 election in Trumpโ€™s favor.โ€ฏBut the bureau had corroborated no such thing. Its source was a front-page report in the Washington Post โ€“ one the newspaper later retracted after determining it was false,โ€ฏaccording to two formerโ€ฏU.S. officials who have seen the original, unredacted FISA applications and described the passages to RCI.

The embarrassing revelation hasnโ€™t been previously reported thanks to redactions blacking out references to the Washington Post article in the still-partially classified applications. The officials confirmed to RCI that the censored section covers up the FBIโ€™s reliance on the bogus Post story,โ€ฏpublished in March 2017, as purported evidence supporting probable cause to continue spying on Trumpโ€™s former aide.โ€ฏIn the sections of the FISAโ€ฏrenewal applications blacking out references to the Post, the officials said, the FBI claimed the underlying text was โ€œsensitive information.โ€โ€ฏThe officialsโ€ฏspoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss still-classified sections of the FISA warrant affidavits.

 

The FBIโ€™s references to the Post story are contained in the April and June 2017 FISA applications. These applications were so tainted by badโ€ฏinformation, politics, and glaring exculpatory omissions that after an inspector generalโ€™s probe, the Justice Department years later had to secretly concede to a federal surveillance courtโ€ฏthat they were โ€œinsufficientโ€ to establish probable cause to spy on Page and thereforeโ€ฏโ€œwere not valid.โ€

 

FBI Director Christopher Wray recently told Congress he has instituted a number of reforms in response to the FISA surveillance abuses, yet at the same time, he appears to have tried to hide the full extent of those abuses under redactions.

An FBI spokeswoman said, โ€œWe decline comment on this matter." Attempts to reach Durham, who has closed his office looking into FBI malfeasance, were unsuccessful.

This is not the only instance in which the FBI misrepresented unconfirmed news reports to secure authorization to spy on the Trump campaign. The bureauโ€™s FISA applications also referenced a September 2016 Yahoo Newsโ€ฏaccountโ€ฏto substantiate the false claim that Page had met with Kremlin officials in Moscow during the presidential campaign.

That Yahoo article by Michael Isikoff said the allegations had been confirmed by a โ€œwell-placed Western intelligence source.โ€โ€ฏIsikoff later revealed that the source, former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele, had concocted the false allegation about Page in a series of now-debunked memos financed by Hillary Clintonโ€™s campaign. Hence, Steele was โ€œcorroboratingโ€ his own shoddy work. Instead of following the law and verifying this material before including it in the FISA application, the FBI simply repeated it as fact. In 2018, Isikoff said it was โ€œa bit beyond meโ€ why the bureau referenced his article.

 

The officials who spoke to RCI said the inclusion of the since-retracted Post story may be even more egregious because it was unsourced,โ€ฏwhich should have sent red flags flying at the FBI. Post reporters said a key source of the dossierโ€™s allegations was a Belarusian-American businessman named Sergei Millian. The Post, however, provided no source for this blockbuster claim, which Millian vociferously denied.

The FBIโ€™s reliance on the false Post story was โ€œan act of desperation,โ€ noted one of the officials. In late March 2017, he said the FBIโ€™s Crossfireโ€ฏHurricane team investigating possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia faced a dilemma. A court deadline to reapply for a warrantโ€ฏto spy on Page was fast approaching, and it still hadnโ€™t verified the sourcing for the key โ€œconspiracyโ€ charge against him and the Trump campaign.

 

Moreover, agents had reason to be skeptical about the information, which formed the cornerstone of their case.

 

Over the previous two months, the FBI had conducted a series of interviews with Igor Danchenko, a Russia-born Washington-based researcher who helpedโ€ฏcompile Steeleโ€™s dossier of derogatory information about Trumpโ€™s alleged ties to Russia, including the core โ€œconspiracyโ€ assertion. During theโ€ฏdebriefings, Danchenko confessed he couldnโ€™t be sure his alleged source, Millian, actually told himโ€ฏwhat he attributed to him about Page in the dossier.โ€ฏ

The FBI needed the explosive allegation to be true because it was the heart of the factual information supporting probable cause to electronicallyโ€ฏmonitor Page as a supposed Russian collaborator under the authority of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. The FISA law, initially enacted in 1978 and broadened in the aftermath of 9/11, is now under intense scrutiny on Capitol Hillโ€ฏin light of previously exposed FBI abuses of the congressionally granted surveillance power. The bureau included the information in earlierโ€ฏrequests for wiretaps, but they were set to expire in early April 2017. To justify renewing them another 90 days, the FBI was under pressure toโ€ฏshow FISA judges additional evidence to support its suspicions about Page. Validating Millian as the main source of the dossier was critical, but the agents had come up empty, developing no evidence that corroborated the allegations.

 

Just in time, the Washington Post published aโ€ฏstoryโ€ฏonline on March 29, 2017, that supposedly โ€œconfirmedโ€ Millian was the source of the allegations against Page and the core claim of a Trump-Kremlin conspiracy. The strangelyโ€ฏunsourced article carried the headline, โ€œWho is โ€˜Source Dโ€™? The man said to be behind the Trump-Russia dossierโ€™s most salacious claim: The story of Sergei Millian.โ€ The next day, the Post ran the same story on Page One of the paper, but under the headline: โ€œInsider or opportunist? A wild card in Russia story: Businessman said to be source of spy dossierโ€™s salacious claim about Trump.โ€ The above-the-fold article appeared just eight days prior to the April 7 deadline the FBI faced to resubmit an application to the FISA court for a fresh warrant to secretly monitorโ€ฏPage.

In its April 7 affidavit requesting a renewal of the warrant, FBI headquarters advised the FISA court that the Post had confirmed that Millian was the source forโ€ฏthe dossierโ€™s allegation that the Kremlin was โ€œfeedingโ€ the Trump campaign โ€œvery helpfulโ€ dirt on Clinton through Page. It also cited the article to buttress the dossierโ€™s linchpin allegation of a โ€œconspiracy of cooperationโ€ between the Trump campaign and the Russian leadership,โ€ฏaccording to the two officials who have seen what is behind the blacked-out section of the swornโ€ฏaffidavit, which runs more than 100 pages. The references to the Post appear on page 22 of the FISA document.

As a result, the FISA court renewed the wiretaps. It approved them again on June 29, 2017, based in part on the same supposedly corroborativeโ€ฏWashington Post article, according to the two officials, who have also seen the original, unredacted June application. On the strength of essentiallyโ€ฏfake news, surveillance court judges permitted the FBI to continue to vacuum up all of Pageโ€™s communications through Sept. 22, 2017.

 

The Post was forced to retract its storyโ€ฏin November 2021 when Durham proved in a court filing that Danchenko had never actually spoken to Millian and simply invented him as his source โ€“ andโ€ฏtherefore made up the โ€œconspiracyโ€ allegation and everything else he attributed to Millian. A week after Durham debunked the Millian hoax, Washington Post Executive Editor Sally Buzbee saidโ€ฏthe Post could no longer stand behind the accuracy of the story and ordered the newspaper to print a retraction.

 

But in 2017, the story served the FBIโ€™s purposes, even as agents came to doubt the Millian sourcing because of Danchenkoโ€™sโ€ฏdissembling (yet, agents nonetheless swore to the FISA court that Danchenkoโ€ฏhad been โ€œtruthful and cooperativeโ€).โ€ฏHeadquarters had toโ€ฏhang on to the slim chance it could be true because the Millian-sourced allegations were central to their case for spying on the Trump campaign.โ€ฏWithout them, the case would have collapsed. Former FBI officials say itโ€™s highly unlikely the bureau would have been able to convince the spy courtโ€ฏto continue to grant permission to monitor Page.

 

The FBI also relied on other allegations sourced to Millian as both โ€œSource Eโ€ and โ€œSource Dโ€ in the Steele dossier,โ€ฏincluding the made-up story thatโ€ฏRussian President Vladimir Putin had a compromising sex tape of Trump cavorting with prostitutes in a Moscow hotel. The entire dossierโ€ฏturned out to be a series ofโ€ฏinvented rumors or outright fabrications that the FBI knew at the time were underwritten by the Hillary Clinton campaign as political opposition research.

FBI veterans who have sworn out affidavits for FISA wiretaps told RCI they have never known the bureau to cite media stories as evidence toโ€ฏcorroborate leads or support probable cause to obtain such all-invasive warrants from the spy court.

 

โ€œAbsolutely not,โ€ said former assistant FBI Director Chris Swecker. โ€œI signed scores of FISA orders as they moved up the chain of command from theโ€ฏfield office up to headquarters for final approval. None of them included that type of information, which is absolutely malpractice and incompetence,โ€ฏor worse.โ€

 

โ€œNever, ever, ever,โ€ added 27-year FBI veteran special agent Michael Biasello. โ€œThe FISA verification process known as the Woods Procedures was createdโ€ฏto eliminate this problem, but [then-FBI Director James] Comeyโ€™s hand-picked bunch at headquarters did not follow them. They were a bunch of arrogant investigators relyingโ€ฏon erroneous and tainted information from Washington reporters rather than a traditional, responsible investigation gathering the facts.โ€

 

Biasello said resorting to using such a murky newspaper story to backstop the main thrust of the FBIโ€™s surveillance case suggests its case was more of aโ€ฏpolitical fishing expedition than a legitimate national security matter. He added that the FBI and DOJ are now trying to cover up the full breadth of theirโ€ฏFISA scandal through unjustified redactions and classifications.

 

The FBI and DOJ refuse to fully declassify the documents, which Senate Republicans managed to release to the public in 2020, albeit with large sections blackedโ€ฏout. Whole pages of the renewal applications remain secret, even though the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court invalidated the warrants in theโ€ฏwake of a scathing 2019 inspectorโ€™s general report. The IG found the spy warrants were based on allegations fabricated by Clinton-fundedโ€ฏresearchers and had omitted exculpatory information proving the innocence of Page, a former U.S. Navyโ€ฏlieutenant, whom the FBI knew wasโ€ฏworking for U.S., not Russian, intelligence.

 

Special Counsel Durham did not uncover whatโ€™s lurking beneath the FISA redactions in a recently released report of his four-year criminalโ€ฏinvestigation of FBI misconduct in the Russiagate probe. He explained that because of the โ€œsensitive and classified natureโ€ of certain โ€œportionsโ€ ofโ€ฏthe FISA applications, he was compelled to discuss them only in a Classified Appendix to the report. He said the classification effort wasโ€ฏโ€œcoordinatedโ€ with the FBI.

 

In other words, much of the FBIโ€™s wrongdoing remains shielded from public view.

Instead of appending a correction, the paper, which won a Pulitzer Prize for its Trump-Russia reporting,โ€ฏremoved all references to Millian as theโ€ฏdossierโ€™s source in online and archived versions of the original article, including all citations cataloged in the Lexis-Nexis database of news articles. Itโ€ฏalso took down a video that accompanied the story. The paper then reposted a newโ€ฏarticleโ€ฏwith a different headline โ€“โ€ฏโ€œSergei Millian: High-levelโ€ฏaccess to Trump or unwitting bystander?โ€โ€ฏโ€“โ€ฏbut under the same bylines of Tom Hamburger and Rosalind Helderman, whoโ€ฏsharedโ€ฏtheโ€ฏcontroversialโ€ฏ2018 Pulitzer (although the Millian article was not part of its entry).

 

The newโ€ฏversionโ€ฏof the story contains an โ€œEditorโ€™s Noteโ€ noting the date when the original was published, but oddly, it does not link to it. In aโ€ฏstoryโ€ฏthe Post ranโ€ฏreporting on its โ€œunusual step of correcting and removing large portionsโ€ of the article, it also failed to link to the original version of the article and onlyโ€ฏlinked to the retooled one.โ€ฏThe original version has beenโ€ฏscrubbed from Google and Twitter.

Journalism historians say they are not aware of another major newspaper making wholesale changes to a story four years afterward andโ€ฏrepublishing an edited version of the story.

In a statement to RCI, a spokeswoman for the Post shrugged off criticism. โ€œThe Post handled this correction with complete transparency,โ€ said Kathy Baird, the paperโ€™s chief communications officer. "As you can see in the Editorโ€™s Note, portions of the story and an accompanying video were removed and the headline was changed,โ€ she added. "This is consistent with the principles and practices we follow when issuing corrections for our readers so that all published information is up-to-date and accurate."

 

Another curious aspect of the story is how it got through Post editors without any sourcing or attribution. Normally such a sensitive story, whichโ€ฏpotentially libeled Millian, would require intense scrutiny, if not a legal review.โ€ฏ

Millian shared emails with RCI showing he tried to steer the Post reporters off the story, insisting it was โ€œa vicious lieโ€ and a smear campaign againstโ€ฏhim and the incoming Republican president. But the newspaper nonetheless reported he was the source for the most explosive parts of the dossierโ€ฏand neverโ€ฏprinted his rebuttals at length after reaching out to him by email. The Post did note that Millian denied in a Russian TV interview having โ€œany compromising informationโ€ about Trump, and that Trump aides โ€œvehementlyโ€ rejected claims Millian had close ties to Trump. (The Postโ€™s description โ€’ โ€œvehementlyโ€ โ€’ appears in the FBIโ€™s application, the two officials told RCI, but the word is hidden under a redaction, the only word blacked out in the sentence. There is no explanation provided for censoring โ€œvehementlyโ€ in the document, but the officials posit the FBI was worried it would too easily connect to the Post story if left unredacted.)

 

โ€œThe liberal press never printed my statements,โ€ Millian said. โ€œThey all just went along with Steeleโ€™s lies.โ€ After the Post story ran, Millian said he demandedโ€ฏretractions from the paper, arguing its article was โ€œrecklessโ€ and โ€œdefamatory,โ€ but the Post refused to retract it or run a correction or clarification until November 2021, when Durham exposed the lies in an indictment.

 

โ€œAfter I demanded the Washington Post to retract, they informed me that they believe their source and will not delete the story,โ€ he added. โ€œI askedโ€ฏwho is their source? They did not answer who.โ€

 

Whoever it was, the Post had great faith in it and felt confident enough in its authority to run a story without citing any sources to back up itsโ€ฏsupposed scoop thatโ€ฏMillian was behind the most explosive claims in the dossier.

Did it come from the FBI or officials working with the FBI? Again, the Post and FBI are mum. โ€œWe do not disclose information on our sources,โ€ the Postโ€™s Baird said. However, the Post was talking to federal investigators at โ€ฏthe time.

On April 11, 2017, just four days after the FISA warrant was re-approved, the Post broke the story about the FBI surveilling Page under the headline,โ€ฏโ€œFBI obtained FISA warrant to monitor former Trump adviser Carter Page,โ€โ€ฏand attributed the story to โ€œlaw enforcement and other U.S. officials.โ€ Itโ€ฏadded: โ€œThis is the clearest evidence so far that the FBI had reason to believe during the 2016 presidential campaign that a Trump associate was inโ€ฏtouch with Russian agents,โ€ helping the FBI justify its unprecedented investigation of the Trump campaign.

 

Current FBI Director Wray has said the bureau โ€œregrets the errors and omissionsโ€ in the FISA applications, and he hasโ€ฏpromised to reform how agents seek such warrants under the spy program. In the meantime, Wray has been lobbying Congress to renew FISA authority before it expires at the end of the year, arguing itโ€™s a critical toolโ€ฏfor protecting Americans from foreign terrorists and spies.

Jack Smith Did Not Review Crucial Records That Dispel Indictment Narrative

Special Counsel Jack Smithโ€™s office may not have reviewed thousands of pages of records that were turned over by New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik before seeking an indictment of former President Donald Trump, according to a report from CBS News. The records reportedly contain information that would dispel the DOJโ€™s narrative that Trump did not believe their claims of election fraud.

 

Kerik had turned the documents over to Smithโ€™s office on July 23 as part of his investigation into Trumpโ€™s objections to the 2020 election. A source close to Kerikโ€™s legal team told CBS that the records contain sworn affidavits from people tied to the election objections that show there was genuine intent to investigate claims of voter fraud.

 

In an August 2 email to Tim Parlatore, Kerikโ€™s attorney, a prosecutor with Smithโ€™s office requested โ€œresponsive documents as to which the Trump campaign is no longer asserting a privilege,โ€ referring to the Kerik records that were previously provided. Parlatore said he was โ€œstunnedโ€ when the special counselโ€™s office inquired about the documents he had already provided after the indictment was handed down.

 

The attorney told CBS the โ€œrecords are absolutely exculpatory.โ€

 

โ€œThey bear directly on the essential element of whether Rudy Giuliani, and therefore Donald Trump, knew that their claims of election fraud were false,โ€ Parlatore said. โ€œGood- faith reliance upon claims of fraud, even if they later turn out to be false, is very different from pushing fraud claims that you know to be false at the time.โ€

 

Parlatore previously told CBS News that he expected Kerik to be interviewed by investigators โ€œsoon,โ€ but that has not yet happened. Parlatore was among the key lawyers working for Trump in the Justice Departmentโ€™s investigations, though he left the legal team in May.

 

A spokesperson for the special counsel declined to comment Thursday when asked if they had reviewed the material.

Jack Smith's Jan. 6 Indictments Are an Attack on Political Speech

 

If recklessly lying to voters were a crime, most everyone in D.C. would be serving life in solitary confinement at Supermax. But in a liberal democracy, as frustrating as it often is, political misconduct is settled by voters and elections, not partisan prosecutors or rioters.

 

Feel free to campaign and vote against Donald Trump if you like. I'm certainly no fan. If Trump wins in 2024, Congress can impeach and remove him if they choose. But just as there was no special set of rules that could keep Trump in the White House in 2020, there shouldn't be an exclusive set of rules to keep him out, either.

 

Yet Special Counsel Jack Smith's indictments over Jan. 6 read like a political oppo document cobbled together by some partisan House staffers who perfunctorily tacked on the last-minute novel legal reasoning.

 

Though numerous commentators who have an aversion to Trump have pointed out the weakness of the indictments, it's quite telling how little media-approved historians and legal "experts" even bother defending the underlying legal case. Trump is evil, a threat to "democracy," and really what else is there to discuss? In the Trump-addled politics of our age, it is virtually impossible for either side to compartmentalize the process and the person if that person happens to be Trump.

 

In this case, the precedent would criminalize and chill political speech. People keep assuring me the indictments aren't really about the expression but rather about defrauding the government. Sorry, the entire case is predicated on the things Trump said or believed or didn't say or didn't believe. All of it should be protected under the First Amendment. "Spreading lies" prosecutors leaned on the thesaurus hard, finding about two dozen ways of repeating this fact or entertaining theories offered by crackpot lawyers, or trying to convince faithless electors to do things that people have been trying to convince faithless electors to do for a long time, are all unethical, not criminal.

So to the average woman, we would suggest becoming comfortable with choosing to follow most of the time in relationship context, and to the average man we would suggest becoming comfortable with leading most of the time in relationship context. At times itโ€™s fine if no one leads, or if the other person leads. Of course weโ€™re not suggesting that women shouldnโ€™t have rights. We suggest that women have rights and women freely choose to follow.

 

7: Finally, weโ€™ll discuss how to create a relationship where one person leads and one person follows.

The WEA portion of the test will be directed to all consumer cell phones. This will be the third
