Stephen Miller goes mega-viral for posting the reason why there was global peace only under Trump…

We were fortunate to experience four glorious years of peace and prosperity under President Trump’s leadership. Since his removal due to a very questionable pandemic and a wave of unverified mail-in ballots, the world has descended into mass chaos. We find ourselves back in the “status quo,” where establishment-driven globalists hold the reins and enrich themselves and their friends while the rest of us suffer.

 

However, we had a taste of the good life, and the majority of us yearned for more. Unfortunately, our government, which is deeply corrupted and rotten to its very core, couldn’t allow that, especially from outsiders. As a result, the United States is now facing skyrocketing crime rates, a cruddy economy, a planned invasion at the border, domestic policies that resemble North Korean-style communism, and wars and possible World War III erupting worldwide. None of this would’ve happened under Trump.

 

What we’re witnessing now is “establishment” politics at its very worst.

 

Trump loyalist Stephen Miller recently went mega-viral for explaining why world peace only happened during President Trump’s tenure. In these times, particularly in the wake of horrific terrorist attacks in Israel, both the nation and the world can benefit from Stephen’s perspective. Here’s what Miller said in his powerful X post:

 

Our world was at peace under President Trump.

 

His clear-eyed realism, raw projection of national strength, and his rejection of ideology in favor of pragmatism and national interest, brought us an unprecedented era of global harmony.

 

Whereas the DC set prattles on endlessly about the rules-based international order — the bloodless and esoteric obsession of the grad school credential class divorced from the iron laws of history — Trump understood the forces that shape world events: relationships, resources, rivalries, and the rational pursuit of self-interest and self-determination.

 

He understood you cannot impose an ideology over the essential nature of nation and man.

 

Instead of wasting away America’s diplomatic and financial assets trying to forcibly impose our values across the planet — which consistently yields the opposite effect — he focused on the formation of mutually-beneficial partnerships to foster global stability.

 

And he used our economic leverage as deterrence rather than fritter it away on nation building: knowing that a country which seeks to protect its own economic interests will always command more respect and find more common ground in its dealings with foreign powers.

 

Biden trashed it all. Set it all ablaze. His Administration’s toxic blend of idiocy, imbecility, incompetence and ideological extremism has turned calm into calamity. Peace into pandemonium. Harmony into hell.

 

The message sent and received by our our humiliation in Afghanistan, our cash bonfire in Ukraine, our internal repression as we preach “democracy,” our cultural self-flagellation, self-abasement and the self-annihilation of our own border, is that we are not a country to be taken seriously only taken advantage of. Over and over.

 

Under Biden, we are not a sovereign nation but a checkbook. A printing press. A mark. A punching bag. A sunken power. A spent power. A hollowed power. A rapidly declining power.

 

And as the torch of American liberty goes dark the world is lit instead by the fire of destruction.

By now, you may notice a recurring pattern in our state-run propaganda media where incidents involving black individuals harming white individuals are reported quite differently from cases involving blacks harming whites. When a white person is accused of harming a black person, it receives extensive coverage, with a strong emphasis on race and racism as the central focus of the story. However, when a black person harms a white person, it’s either rarely reported, or if it is, the possibility of a racist hate crime is seldom mentioned. In some cases, the media even conceals the identity of the black perp to prevent unwarranted attacks or ridicule. This is the propaganda that our media tries to pawn off as “news coverage” and reporting. In reality, it’s nothing more than the left trying desperately to control their narrative that white people are destroying the country with hate, violence, and racism. In reality, it’s black people who are more likely to be guilty of all the above.

 

There’s a story from Louisiana that illustrates this troubling situation. A white guy was walking down a bustling New Orleans street when he accidentally stepped on the foot of a black man. Rather than a simple apology and moving on, the black man, along with his black friend, proceeded to brutally assault the white guy. The attack was so severe that he was nearly killed, andhe now faces a severe brain injury and is still fighting for his life. The question arises: was this a racially motivated act? Well, don’t expect the media to address it, as they are refusing to raise such obvious questions when the story doesn’t fit their narrative.

 

The Messenger:

Scott Wagner, a New Orleans resident, was attacked after he stepped on another person’s shoes apparently by accident, according to a New Orleans Police Department statement and a family interview with 4WWL.

 

The victim’s family said he is suffering from a life-threatening traumatic brain injury and he may not survive.

 

The incident occurred in an area near the French Quarter on Sept. 24. After Wagner stepped on the man’s shoes, the attacker approached Wagner from the back and punched, causing Wagner to fall to the ground. The attacker then allegedly punched the Wagner several more times until he was unconscious.

 

According to reporting from 4WWL, Wagner moved to New Orleans two years. His family told the news outlet the Pittsburgh native “loved it here.”

 

His family was told that Wagner left his job at Mr. Ed’s Seafood in the French Quarter and went into Check Point Charlie, a bar and laundromat, when he was attacked and left unconscious.

 

Adding insult to injury, the police are not even responding to the family. The Messenger piece continues:

“It’s a horrible thing to see him like this, and we would like some answers, Gloria Cranmer, Wagner’s sister told the outlet. “We’ve called [police] 14 times and have not had one return call as to what is happening.”

 

Police told the news outlet in a statement that “The NOPD is actively investigating this incident as a second-degree battery. Upon arriving at the scene, the victim appeared to be alone and officer could not speak to him to get any information let alone contacts.”

 

Here’s an image of the suspects wanted in this possibly race-driven hate crime. Unfortunately, what happened to this poor man seems to have been met with a rather indifferent response.

 

Let’s pray the victim recovers and he and his family get the justice they deserve.

“I realize you don’t really know Buckley,” Susie Carlson wrote via email in 2014 to Hunter Biden, a Georgetown graduate and the son of the then-vice president. “Maybe you could meet or speak to him and he could send you a very brief resume with his interests and grades attached.”

 

Tucker Carlson offered that his son was a good squash player and an excellent fly fisherman. “He loves Washington for all the right reasons, I think,” Carlson added, “and really wants to go to school here.” When Biden agreed to write a letter of recommendation, Susie Carlson added a heap of praise: “Tucker and I have the greatest respect and admiration for you. Always!”

 

The Carlsons’ past entreaties to Biden may come as a surprise to many present-day viewers of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” the highly rated prime-time Fox News show on which the host has repeatedly ridiculed Biden for seeking to profit off his family connections and at times for his history of personal troubles and drug use.

 

The interactions reveal the extent to which Carlson was willing to turn on a former associate as he thrives in a hyperpartisan media world in which conservatives have made Biden a prime target for attack during his father’s presidency. They also show how Carlson once sought to benefit from the elite political circles in Washington that he now regularly rails against as the “ruling class.”

 

“When your dad is president, you get superpowers,” Carlson said in October 2021 during a segment about Biden pursuing a new career as an artist. “Maybe Hunter Biden will invent a new vaccine next we will be required to take. Who knows? You never know. The sky is the limit when your dad is in power.”

 

Some emails between Tucker Carlson and Biden, saved on a device copied from a laptop that Biden purportedly left at a Delaware computer repair shop in 2019, have been previously reported. The Washington Post has verified many of those emails through a forensic analysis and corroborated additional messages, including the correspondence with Carlson’s wife, with a person familiar with the communications.

 

Tucker Carlson, during a 15-minute phone interview, said that he was once close with Biden, as he has stated on his show.

 

“Hunter Biden was my neighbor. Our wives were friends. I knew him well. I talked to him many times about addiction, something I know a lot about,” Carlson said. “And I’ve said that. I think that Hunter Biden is an addict and that’s why his life is falling apart, and I feel bad for him. I’ve said that many times, and I mean it.”

Senior Hamas officials killed – Israeli military

The IDF described this neighborhood as a“nest of terror,” and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed that the airstrikes will “continue with full strength.”

 

Civilian casualties are reportedly high, with the Palestinian Health Ministry stating on Tuesday that 770 people have been killed and 4,000 others wounded in the strikes. There are 140 children among the dead, the ministry added.

 

The bombing campaign was launched in response to a full-scale assault on Israel by Hamas. Barrages of rockets were fired into the country from Gaza beginning on Saturday morning, with some hitting targets as far away as Tel Aviv. As air raid sirens blared across southern Israel, Hamas fighters poured across the border and stormed Jewish settlements near Gaza.

 

As of Tuesday, at least 800 Israelis have been killed and more than 2,000 wounded. Hamas is believed to be holding at least 150 Israelis as hostages and has threatened to execute these captives on live television if Israel continues launching no-warning airstrikes on Gaza.

 

Israeli officials have shown no signs of backing down. “Human animals must be treated as such,” Israeli Major General Ghassan Alian said on Tuesday, referring to residents of the Palestinian enclave. “There will be no electricity and no water [in Gaza], there will only be destruction. You wanted hell, you will get hell,” he warned in a video message.

The Ukrainian leader visited Romania on Tuesday to meet with President Klaus Iohannis and discuss bilateral ties

 

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky did not address the Romanian Parliament during his visit to the EU state on Tuesday. Local media reports suggested that the speech had beeninexplicably canceled.

 

The news outlet G4media initially claimed that Zelensky’s speech, which was supposed to take place at 5pm on Tuesday before a joint plenary session of the two chambers of parliament, had been called off or postponed by parliamentary leaders, with some sources citing security concerns as the reason for the cancellation.

 

Alfred Simonis, the acting president of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies, later told Agerpres that he did not know why Zelensky’s address had been canceled but noted that it wasn’t the lawmakers who ultimately planned the Ukrainian president’s speeches.

 

“We are not making President Zelensky’s program,” Simonis stressed, adding that the decision to cancel his appearance in parliament did not come from the Chamber of Deputies. “I cannot answer for a change made by Mr. Zelensky’s staff,” he said.

 

Nevertheless, Simonis insisted that whatever the reason for Zelensky’s change of plans was, it was not linked to any threats by “some extremists.”

She also brought out a map depicting the “real” Romania with lands “stolen” by Ukraine. “Return our territory, Mr. Zelensky,” Sosoaca demanded, adding that Kiev had been cracking down on Romanian nationals in Ukraine by banning the Romanian language, prohibiting Romanian churches, and “killing”Romanian children.

 

In a press briefing following a meeting with his Romanian counterpart, Zelensky told reporters that he never planned to address Romanian lawmakers. “I arrived on a visit to the people of Romania, to express our gratitude, and talk strategically with President Iohannis,” he was quoted as saying by the European Pravda news outlet.

 

The head of state added that he also intends to meet with the Romanian prime minister, parliamentary chamber heads, and lawmakers but did not have any speech ready. “Perhaps someone is against it – but I was not ready,”he said, noting that he would be “happy” to deliver it next time.

Officials with the Utah Department of Agriculture confirmed the outbreak last week and told the TV station that 142,000 turkeys have already been killed or died from the disease on a single farm that has been affected in Sanpete County, south of Salt Lake City.

 

The announcement called the “depopulation” unfortunate. Utah is among the larger turkey farm producers in the U.S., UADF spokesperson Bailee Woolstenhulme said, “And so, we’re hoping it doesn’t spread throughout any more of our farms.”

 

It’s too soon to tell if the outbreak will have an effect on turkey sales during the holidays, she said. Last year, the flu led to a rise in turkey prices to about $2 a pound, Utah Public Radio reported.

 

“We were hoping that we were going to get by this year without seeing any cases,” said UDAF spokeswoman Bailee Woolstenhulme. “Unfortunately, it was a larger turkey farm down there in Sanpete County that contracted the disease.”

 

Federal and state teams are testing farms around the area to make sure the disease has not spread. The disease is spread by affected wild turkeys who carry it to domesticated turkeys.

 

There are so far no human cases of this particular strain of flu in America, but officials still warned consumers to properly cook eggs and poultry to stay safe. Bird owners and farmers in Sanpete County have been asked to keep a close eye on flocks for any sign of avian flu.

UN to investigate ‘war crimes’ by Israel and Hamas

The international body has said it already has “clear evidence” of violations by both sides

 

The UN has announced an investigation into potential war crimes committed during the latest escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The international body stated on Tuesday that it had “clear evidence” of serious violations by both sides, and called on them to adhere to international human rights law.

 

The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry, which is tasked with investigating violations of international law in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, said in a statement that it “has been collecting and preserving evidence of war crimes committed by all sides since 7 October 2023.”

 

The commission was established under a UN Human Rights Council resolution in May 2021. It condemned the Hamas attack on Israel launched on Saturday, stating that the discriminatory killing of unarmed civilians and hostage-taking “cannot be tolerated” and amounts to “war crimes.”

 

It also expressed “grave concern” over Israel’s response, saying that its attack on Gaza and the “complete siege” of theexclave “constitutes collective punishment.”

 

The commission vowed to ensure “legal accountability” of all those responsible for violations of international law. It added that it would identify anyone linked to war crimes on both sides, including in command positions, and that the relevant information would be shared with judicial authorities, including the International Criminal Court.

 

The UN body urged all sides to refrain from further violence and called for “the unconditional and safe release of all individuals who have been taken hostage by Palestinian armed groups.” It also insisted that the only way to end the conflict was to address its “root causes,” including the illegal occupation of Palestinian territory and recognizing the right of Palestinians to self-determination.

 

Militant group Hamas launched a massive attack on Israel on Saturday, firing thousands of rockets and briefly overrunning Israeli settlements bordering Gaza. According to the Israeli authorities, the attack and subsequent fighting have claimed the lives at least 900 Israelis, including 123 members of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

Because birds use magnetic fields to navigate at night during long-distance migrations, severe space weather can throw them off course.

 

New research indicates that severe space weather events, such as solar flares, disrupt birds' navigational skills during long migrations.

 

Previous research has indicated that when flying at night, birds (and many other animals) use Earth's magnetic field for navigation. Because solar events disrupt the magnetic field — as well as produce auroras — birds have more difficulty navigating during them.

 

The new study analyzed images taken from 37 NEXRAD Doppler weather radar stations, which can detect groups of migrating birds, as well as data from ground-based magnetometers, to study 23 years of bird migration across the U.S. Great Plains. The 1,000-mile (1,600-kilometer) span from North Dakota to Texas is considered a major migratory corridor for birds.

 

"The biggest challenge was trying to distill such a large dataset — years and years of ground magnetic field observations — into a geomagnetic disturbance index for each radar site," Daniel Welling, University of Michigan space scientist said in a statement. "There was a lot of heavy lifting in terms of assessing data quality and validating our final data product to ensure that it was appropriate for this study."

 

The work paid off. The researchers discovered that the number of migrating birds in this region decreases by 9 to 17 percent during severe space weather events. They also noticed increased rates of birds becoming lost during migration, a phenomenon known as migratory bird vagrancy.

 

"Our findings highlight how animal decisions are dependent on environmental conditions — including those that we as humans cannot perceive, such as geomagnetic disturbances — and that these behaviors influence population-level patterns of animal movement," Eric Gulson-Castillo, a doctoral student at the University of Michigan Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, who served as lead author on a study about the research, said in the same statement.

 

Interestingly, severe space weather events can also throw off human navigation. Solar outbursts affect satellite communications, disrupting technology like GPS. We can expect more extreme space weather events as the sun builds towards a peak in its 11-year solar activity cycle, expected to occur in 2025. But like weather on Earth, space weather is a fickle fellow and predictions can turn on a dime.

 

The team's findings were published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences on Oct. 9.

During a press conference, Finnish President Sauli Niinisto suggested that the pipeline and telecoms cable had been damaged in what may have been a deliberate act.

 

“It is likely that damage to both the gas pipeline and the communication cable is the result of outside activity. The cause of the damage is not yet clear, the investigation continues in cooperation between Finland and Estonia,” Niinisto said in a statement.

 

Finland’s energy supply remains stable, according to Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo. He added that leakage from the pipeline was “worrying,” but the damage to the telecommunications cable did not affect the country’s connectivity.

 

“It is too early to draw conclusions on who or what caused the damage,” Orpo told a press conference.

 

The Balticconnector pipeline was shut down on Sunday morning due to a suspected leakage. Commenting on the stoppage, a senior executive at Finnish state-run energy company Gasgrid Janne Gronlund said that the link may remain offline up to the end of the upcoming winter.

 

Launched in 2019, the 77-kilometer (47-mile) pipeline link that is used to transfer gas from a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) import terminal in Finland to Estonia has an annual capacity of 2.6 billion cubic meters.

 

President Niinisto said earlier that Helsinki was in constant contact with its allies and partners, Yle News reported.

 

“I had a conversation with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg today. NATO is ready to assist in the investigations,” the head of state told the media.

 

The investigation has revived concerns about the vulnerability of undersea infrastructure following explosions at the nearby Nord Stream pipelines. The natural gas pipeline linking Russia to Germany was blown up in an apparent act of sabotage last year. European countries have since stepped up security of infrastructure in response.

 

European gas prices rose as much as 12.7% on Tuesday, reaching the highest level in around two weeks. The latest surge is attributed to the news about the Balticconnector shutdown, as well as the halt of production at a field in Israel by the US energy giant Chevron.

ROME — Secretary of State Mike Pompeo recently published a sharp letter excoriating the Vatican’s plans to renew an agreement with the Chinese government on Church operations in China. He promoted the article in a tweet, concluding, “The Vatican endangers its moral authority, should it renew the deal.”

 

An indignant Vatican took the article more as a calculated affront than a diplomatic gesture. The friction broke into the open on Wednesday as Mr. Pompeo arrived in Rome and met with prelates and others who are hostile to Pope Francis, while the Vatican denied him a meeting with the pontiff and rebuffed his efforts to derail the deal with China.

 

“Pompeo asked to meet” the pope, who turned him down because Francis had “clearly said that he does not receive political figures ahead of the elections,” Cardinal Pietro Parolin, who, as secretary of state, is the Vatican’s second-ranking official, told reporters.

 

But to some observers on both sides of the tensions between the Roman Catholic Church and the Trump administration, Mr. Pompeo’s visit is as much about the coming presidential election as about China policy. Mr. Pompeo dismissed that suggestion as absurd, but intended or not, his trip signals that President Trump is on the side of those conservative American Catholics who worry about the church’s direction under Francis and think he is soft on China.

 

Francis and Mr. Trump, who have exchanged sharp words in the past, present starkly different visions on issues ranging from the environment to immigration to the threat of populism. In appealing to the Vatican’s support for religious freedom as a reason to drop its China agreement, Mr. Pompeo seemed to seek common ground, but in a way that upset the pope’s chief allies and delighted his chief critics.

 

Cardinal Parolin said Mr. Pompeo’s article had caused “surprise” at the Vatican, because this visit to Rome by the secretary and the meetings with high officials at the Holy See had already been in the works and would have been a “more opportune” forum for airing grievances. He added that Mr. Pompeo’s choice to publish in First Things, a conservative Christian magazine that has called Francis a failure as Pope, also mattered.

Bannon, executive chairman of right-wing news outlet Breitbart News, served as Trump campaign chief executive during the final months of the election.

He is credited with helping to hone Trump’s nationalism and economic populism as a candidate and president.

 

Bannon was forced out of the White House in August and eventually returned to Breitbart. He championed Republican Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore, who defeated incumbent Sen.

Luther Strange in the GOP primary before losing to now-Democratic Sen. Doug Jones in a special election in December.

 

Trump first supported Strange, then supported Moore over Jones.

 

In his statement, Trump said Bannon “had everything to do with the loss of a Senate seat in Alabama held for more than thirty years by Republicans.”

 

Trump Jr. piled on in later tweets, mocking Bannon for Moore’s loss and for the response to his back-and-forth with the president on the Breitbart website.

 

Bannon had heavily criticized the June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower, which the president’s eldest son helped to set up.

Attendees included Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, Trump advisor and son-in-law Jared Kushner and campaign chairman Paul Manafort.

Alien spaceship spotted in Lagos? How Nigerians reacted

Many people were stunned this week when they spotted an unidentified flying object hovering around the sky early in the night in areas like Surulere and Maryland in Lagos.

 

Passers by at the Leisure Mall in Surulere had mixed reactions when they spotted a spaceship looking object flying over different buildings and leaving a large shadow of bright purple light in the sky. “Abi dem don come for us ni”, “Wetin be dis one like this” were some of the expressions of confusion and curiosity of eye witnesses at the locations the UFO was sighted.

 

UFOs are usually reported as being sighted mostly in America but never in Nigeria so of course, it had people wondering and talking on social media and blogs in no time.

 

The so called “Purple Beings” also announced their arrival with a 3D Video on LED billboards around Lagos that shows their spaceship flying over Nigerian monuments like the Abuja City Gate, Dolphin Estate and Ikoyi Bridge before finally hovering over the atlantic ocean and opening its spaceship door to see purple looking creatures quickly descend and disappear into the ocean. Scary!!!

 

You can only imagine the relief many Nigerians must have felt when they saw posts from Instablog9ja, Tunde Ednut and Pulse revealing that “Alien Invasion” was just the wild creation of some creative guys just having fun.

 

Apparently the “Alien Invasion” was Intense Group; a marketing, media and technology firm’s way of launching “Purple Stardust”, their new Creative Agency into the subconscious of Nigerians.

Unfazed by the bombs, undeterred by the warnings, and in the face of the raging conflict, more than 35,000 ultra-Orthodox Jews from across the world have journeyed to Uman, Ukraine, to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year.

 

“Going to celebrate in a war zone en masse is crazy,” said Azoulay Ruben, a 22-year-old trainee dentist from Paris. “But at the same time, it’s a beautiful thing.”

 

Rosh Hashanah is a two-day holiday that falls in September or October, marking the beginning of the high holy days. In Israel, it is usually celebrated with family visits and food: traditionally, apples dipped in honey are eaten to symbolise hopes for a “sweet” year ahead.

 

For followers of the rabbi Nachman of Breslov, however, Rosh Hashanah is a chance to party. Nachman, a great-grandson of the founder of what is today broadly known as Hassidic Judaism, a branch of ultra-Orthodoxy, spent the final months of his life in the Ukrainian city of Uman, 125 miles (200km) south of Kyiv, and died in 1810.

 

In 1941, the Germans deported the entire Jewish community in Uman, murdering 17,000 Jews and destroying the local Jewish cemetery, including the burial place of Nachman, which was eventually recovered and relocated. About 1 million Ukrainian Jews were killed in the Holocaust.

 

More than 200 years after Breslov’s death, the sect still makes pilgrimages to his tomb on Rosh Hashanah, when it is believed those who pray over it will be atoned for their sins. Today the celebrations often involve loud music, trance-like dancing and heavy use of alcohol and drugs. Ukrainian police on Friday arrested four Israeli nationals suspected of drug possession at a crossing point outside the western Ukrainian city of Vinnytsia, Ynet reported.

 

“Many come here to pray,” says Natan Ben Noon, the chief rabbi of Uman. “But I assure you that 80% of the visitors are not religious. They come here just to have fun.”

 

Each year it is as if an ultra-Orthodox slice of Jerusalem had been transported to the quiet city of Uman, with its population of 80,000. The streets are filled with shops that gladly accept payments in shekels, men are dressed in long black coats or white prayer robes, and advertisements and street signs are written in Hebrew. However, before turning on the techno music, at midday it is time to gather in prayer on the street for the Tikkun HaKlali (the general remedy), with thousands of worshippers reciting in unison a set of 10 verses from the Psalms.

 

Israeli and Ukrainian officials pleaded for worshippers to stay away this year. Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, who is also Jewish, spoke last week in a conversation in which the Ukrainian leader made it clear that there were “not enough shelters in Uman for local residents, let alone foreign tourists”.

 

The city was last hit by Russian missiles in June, while in April 23 civilians were killed, including three children, after more than 20 long-range Russian missiles struck a residential neighbourhood.

 

“Israeli citizens who are travelling to Ukraine need to act responsibly regarding their trips at this time,” Netanyahu said in a statement. “God hasn’t always shielded us, especially in Europe … It must be understood that in Israel, when missiles fall on us, citizens enter shelters and there is protection. There, there are no shelters and no protection.”

 

Despite the warnings, as of Wednesday more than 35,000 foreign visitors had arrived in Uman, the majority from Israel, and others from France and the US.

Navy Reports the USS Louisiana Launched a Nuclear-Capable Missile Off San Diego

 

The Navy reported that the submarine USS Louisiana successfully launched a nuclear-capable Trident II D5 intercontinental ballistic missile while submerged in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego.

 

The launch, which was the 191st successful launch of a Trident II since 1989, came at 2:10 p.m. on Sept. 27, the Navy said.

 

The missile was unarmed, but typically would have four independently targetable nuclear warheads.

 

Trident IIs are carried by 14 U.S. Ohio-class submarines and 4 British Vanguard-class submarines. The U.S. submarines typically have 20 of the missiles, which have a range of over 7,500 miles. The make up sea-based part of the U.S. strategic weapons triad.

 

Vice Adm. Johnny Wolfe Jr., director of strategic systems programs, called the test flight a “historic milestone” for the weapons system.

 

He said the Navy plans to “sustain this unmatched weapons system while developing the next generation strategic weapons system to ensure our nation’s sea-based strategic deterrence capability through 2084.”

According to the statement from Netanyahu's office, the two leaders discussed?several topics, including the situation of Ukrainian refugees in Israel, continuing Israeli aid to Ukraine and the deployment of civil defense systems in Ukraine.?

I spoke with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy. We talked about continuing Israeli aid to Ukraine, including to refugees from Ukraine staying in Israel, and about continuing to promote aid and the development and promotion of civil defense systems. I raised the need to ensure as much as possible the arrival of worshipers to Uman this year in order to ensure freedom of worship, said the statement.

Netanyahu also raised the issue of Israeli pilgrims traveling to the Ukrainian city of Uman for Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year that celebrated Sept. 16-17.

An unnamed Ukrainian official was quoted by Ynet earlier in the day as saying that Netanyahu was the one pushing for a call, citing pressure by Israeli ultra-Orthodox parties who want him to facilitate the visit of thousands of pilgrims to Uman. For more than a century, Jewish pilgrims have been traveling to Uman to pray at the tomb of Rabbi Nachman of Breslow.?

Israel's N12 news outlet reported on Wednesday that Mossad chief David Barnea had spoken by phone with Zelenskyy earlier in the week to help prepare for the pilgrims' arrival.

Train carrying military vehicles derails south of downtown Colorado Springs

 

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - All roads have reopened south of downtown Colorado Springs following a train derailment Monday evening, but cleanup is likely to last for days.

 

The train was hauling heavy military equipment when it tipped over along Las Vegas Street, just south of Circle Drive.

 

Union Pacific confirmed with 11 News that eight railcars were involved in the incident.

 

“There were no injuries and no releases of hazardous materials. Union Pacific crews are responding to the incident, which is under investigation,” read a statement in part from Union Pacific.

General Michael Flynn is calling for the arrest of former CIA director Michael Hayden after Hayden made an apparent threat against U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn).

 

Hayden posted on social media that Tuberville should be “removed” from the human race because of his months-long hold on military promotions due to the Pentagon’s policy to pay for service women’s travel to get an abortion out of state.

Biden Tells Americans To Book Their Own Flights Out Of Israel Hours After Airlines Announced Mass Cancellations

 

Major airlines began canceling their services out of Israel just hours before President Joe Biden told Americans remaining in the country to book a commercial flight if they want to leave after the terrorist organization Hamas invaded.

 

Biden advised Americans left within Israel Monday to book a commercial flight or utilize ground options if they wish to leave the country. As of Monday evening, American, Delta, United Airlines and Air France have all halted services in and out of Israel after the country declared war on Hamas, according to the Associated Press.

 

“For American citizens who are currently in Israel, the State Department is providing consular assistance as well as updated security alerts. For those who desire to leave, commercial flights and ground options are still available,” Biden wrote. “Please also take sensible precautions in the days ahead and follow the guidance of local authorities.”

 

Biden announced late Monday afternoon that at least 11 Americans have been killed in Hamas’ attack and more are believed to have been taken hostage.

 

American Airlines had stopped its services in and out of Israel through Friday but alerted customers whose flights were canceled of “additional flexibility,” the AP reported. Delta Airlines has halted its flights through the rest of the month but will be monitoring the war and will make adjustments to its guidance as needed.

 

Several other airlines such as Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Swiss and Brussels Airlines have paused its services until Saturday while the war in Israel develops, The AP reported.
