US Navy Destroyer Intercepts Missiles and Drones Off Yemen

Oct 19 (Reuters) – A U.S. Navy warship on Thursday intercepted three cruise missiles and several drones launched by the Iran-aligned Houthi movement from Yemen potentially toward Israel, the Pentagon said.

 

Washington is on heightened alert for activity by Iran-backed groups as regional tensions soar during the Israel-Hamas war.

 

The Pentagon said the destroyer USS Carney was operating in the northern Red Sea on Thursday when it brought down the projectiles and there were no injuries.

 

“We cannot say for certain what these missiles and drones were targeting, but they were launched from Yemen heading north along the Red Sea, potentially towards targets in Israel,” Pentagon spokesman Brigadier General Patrick Ryder told reporters.

 

A U.S. official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said it did not appear that the warship was the target.

 

The U.S. has sent a significant amount of naval power to the Middle East in the past week, including two aircraft carriers, their support ships and about 2,000 Marines.

 

While the White House says there are “no plans or intentions” for their use, it means U.S. military assets would be in place to protect U.S. national security interests if needed. The U.S. also has an array of bases in the Middle East with troops, fighter aircraft and warships.

Deutsche Bank reveals new emissions targets for shipping, coal mining, and cement

Deutsche Bank has announced emissions reduction targets for loans to clients in the shipping, coal mining, and cement sectors with 55% of the bank’s loans now covered with a net zero plan.

 

Deutsche Bank today published its initial Transition Plan and consolidates its path to net zero by 2050. This Plan focuses on the bank’s operations (Scope 1 and 2), supply chain (Scope 3), and financing provided to clients (Scope 3).

 

With today’s publication of additional sectoral targets for shipping, coal mining, and cement, 55% of the financed emissions in Deutsche Bank’s €107bn ($112.8bn) corporate loan portfolio are now covered by net zero pathways. Published financed emissions figures totalling 34.4m tonnes of CO2 emissions per year now cover approximately 60% of the bank’s total loan exposure of €489bn as of 31 December 2022.

 

The Transition Plan outlines additional targets for the three sectors. Namely, coal mining will have a 49% reduction in Scope 3 financed emissions by 2030 and a 97% reduction by 2050. Cement will have a 29% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 physical emission intensity by 2030 and a 98% reduction by 2050 while shipping will have a Scope 1 score of 0% achieved by 2030 and 2050 based on the Poseidon Principles Portfolio Level Alignment Score.

 

The Plan sets out Deutsche Bank’s three-pronged approach to implementation that includes financing the development and scale-up of clean energy technologies, engaging with high-emitting clients to support and finance their transition, and steadily phasing out businesses with not-to-abate industries such as thermal coal, and with clients not willing to align to the bank’s transition pathway.

 

Since its creation in November 2022, Deutsche Bank’s Net Zero Forum reviewed 41 transactions in carbon-intensive industries. The Net Zero Forum assesses incremental and renewed transactions for in-scope sectors above the threshold of €25m which would lead to an increase of more than 1% in the sectoral financed emissions metric and/or the net zero target metric for target sectors.

 

The Transition Plan also sets out Deutsche Bank’s progress and targets in decarbonising its operations (Scope 1 and 2 emissions), which have been cut by 64%, or more than 95,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year since 2019.

The post highlights the media’s glaring silence on a document endorsed by 11 former FBI agents and two former CIA agents. This document alleges that the CIA was not only aware of the 9/11 hijackers but actively recruited them and hid their plans from the FBI.

 

Wow, this news might come as a shock, but believe it or not, some folks have been saying this for decades.

That’s what happened this week when a federal judge granted Joe Biden administration prosecutors the gag order they requested to silence his political rival, the forty-fifth President of the United States. And still, Donald Trump is climbing in the polls. It must be a miracle, right? No, it’s just evidence that no matter how much the ruling class tries to hide its corruption, Americans see the truth: Our ruling class is corrupt, inept, and pathological. In the upside-down world they’ve built, what’s bad is good, adversaries are partners, and terrorism is not only acceptable but estimable.

 

But that can’t hide that Joe Biden has a hostage crisis on his hands. It’s the worst since Islamic revolutionaries stormed the U.S. Embassy in Iran in 1979 and captured 52 Americans. This time, it’s Iran’s Palestinian asset Hamas that’s holding more than a dozen Americans, after the terror group killed 30 U.S. citizens among the 1400 Israelis it slaughtered October 7th.

 

The media has good reason to try to bury Biden’s hostage crisis since the 1979 version cost another incumbent Democratic Party president, Jimmy Carter, a second term in office.

 

But unlike Carter, Biden has staffed his administration with activists who support Iran and their terror assets. For instance, the White House’s Iran envoy, Robert Malley, facilitated an Iranian spy ring and inserted one of its agents into high-level national security positions. Yes, hard as it may be to believe, a U.S. official hired an Iranian agent of influence named Ariane Tabatabai for a job at the State Department. She’d been in regular contact with high-ranking Iranian officials, including members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards, the organization that plots against America and its allies. Malley has been put on leave without pay, but Tabatabai is still in the U.S. government. She’s chief of staff to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations.

 

Other Biden officials are frustrated that the White House isn’t more pro-Iran, more pro-Hamas. Even after Biden went to Jerusalem to pledge $100 million to rebuild Gaza, and thus rebuild Hamas, and warn longtime U.S. ally Israel to go easy on the terrorists that murdered 1400 people, that’s not enough for the radical faction he leads. They demand more.

 

Yesterday (Oct. 18), thousands of pro-Palestinian radicals stormed Capitol Hill to demand Congress impose a ceasefire and stop Israel from uprooting Hamas. Hundreds were led away in handcuffs. They’re charged with the same category of minor offenses that have put January 6 protestors in jail, but the pro-Palestinian mobs will walk away with a slap on the wrist, at best. They’re the elites’ foot soldiers, for their cause is that of the establishment — anything that undoes American peace and prosperity is good for America’s corrupt, inept, and pathological ruling class.

 

It’s time we take back our ship and cast the mutineers overboard. Stand strong and say the truth, especially when our self-appointed betters try to muzzle us.

Samuel Pisar, the stepfather of Biden regime Secretary of State Antony Blinken, was a close confidant and lawyer for Ghislaine Maxwell’s father Robert Maxwell. Blinken’s stepfather was reportedly the last person to speak to Maxwell before he mysteriously fell to his death off the Lady Ghislaine while cruising near Spain’s Canary Islands in 1991.

 

Most Americans may know Secretary of State Antony Blinken for his major role in the devastating Biden administration Afghanistan Disaster, or perhaps for his warmongering while working for the Bush and Obama administrations. However, many may not know that he has connections to the convicted pedophile, ritualistic sex predator, and international elite human trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, who was identified as a Mossad agent who blackmailed world leaders with underage sex traps by former high-ranking Israeli intelligence officials.

 

Ghislaine Maxwell’s father Robert Maxwell was well-known in intelligence circles as a top confidant of Mossad leadership, National File Senior Reporter Patrick Howley revealed. Samuel Pisar, Secretary Blinken’s stepfather, was a close confidant and lawyer for Robert Maxwell.

 

Secretary Blinken attended the Dalton School until 1971. National File reported in June that the prestigious New York prep school employed Epstein in a teaching position only a few years later, in 1974. The school has a long and prestigious history of educating the children of wealthy families, and has employed several noteworthy figures including William Barr, erotic novel author and father of disgraced former Attorney General Bill Barr, who previously served as the school’s headmaster and hired Epstein.

 

Epstein purchased a $56 million mansion located just a mile south of Dalton School, where prosecutors at his sex trafficking trial alleged he paid “numerous” underage girls for sexual services. During his time at Dalton, Epstein’s strange behavior around young girls attracted attention. “It was weird,” one student said. “Everyone talked about it.”

 

Secretary Blinken’s stepfather was a close confidant and lawyer for Ghislaine Maxwell’s father, Robert Maxwell, who mysteriously fell to his death off the Lady Ghislaine in 1991. Pisar is reportedly one of the last people to have spoken to Maxwell before his death, according to the New York Times.

 

Among those arguing against any signs of despair are Mr. Maxwell’s son Ian and his lawyer and confidant, Samuel Pisar. They are among the last people, aside from the crew members, to talk to Mr. Maxwell. Both men spoke to him by phone aboard his yacht, around 11 P.M., about an hour after he returned from a solitary dinner in a restaurant in the port city of Santa Cruz.

 

Mr. Pisar said Mr. Maxwell seemed his normal, confident self and discussed plans and appointments. Ian Maxwell told reporters that his father had planned to travel to London the following day and that their conversation ended with Ian saying, “See you tomorrow, then,” and his father replying, “You bet.”

 

From 1994 to 2001, Secretary Blinken served on the National Security Council staff. Leah Pisar, his stepsister, also served on the National Security Council staff during the Clinton administration. She also worked for the State Department, the U.S. Embassy in Paris, France, and was a communications director for President Clinton.

 

Readers may find it interesting that Secretary Blinken had once served as the director of a nonprofit organization now known as Action Against Abduction from 2001-2002, according to opencorporates, a global database of the corporate world. The organization was originally called The International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children and then, Parents and Abducted Children Together, before changing their name to Action Against Abduction in 2015.

MARINE CORPS AIR STATION CHERRY POINT, N.C. (Oct. 19, 2023) — Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point will conduct its annual full-scale exercise on Oct. 24, 2023, to prove effectiveness and validity of its plans and procedures for responding to real-world emergencies.

 

Officials aboard the installation will put the air station staff and its tenant organizations

through tests during the training exercise, named Sudden Crisis.

 

During the exercise, those at and near the installation should expect to see heightened law enforcement, fire and emergency medical services personnel, and participants with mock injuries responding to simulated emergency scenarios that include assorted security breaches, unauthorized actions, and an active shooter emergency.

 

Further, the installation will maintain normal operations and gate hours. However, residents and boaters should be aware that the federal waterside boundaries of Slocum and Hancock Creek, and the Neuse River will be closed to the public. Recreational boaters are advised to avoid the area due to heightened military presence.

 

The training event is an annual requirement to exercise command and control, reporting,

interoperability with external organizations, and validate tactics, techniques, and procedures, in

the event the air station needs to elevate its force protection condition to safeguard personnel or national security interests.

 

The commanding officer has the authority to restrict access in accordance with Code of Federal Regulations Title 33, Chapter 2, Part 334, Section 334.430. Restricted access signs are posted throughout the waterways and a map of federal jurisdiction lines can be found at

I believe it is a major psyop and from what I can tell, it or they or whatever or whoever is “running this op” has done a major disservice.

What I see are a bunch of people sitting and waiting for something to happen instead of doing what I have been calling for now for quite some time (LOCAL ACTION).

The nonsense about trump is still the president and the military is coming to the rescue is just that…nonsense.
