Let's back up a little.

 

California used to be a red state.

 

Republicans won 8 out of 9 presidential elections during the mid-1900s.

 

Even in L.A. itself, the GOP won 6 of 10 presidential elections

 

Then something changed.

 

In 1986, Reagan cut a deal with Dems and granted amnesty to MILLIONS of illegals, majority of them residing in CA.

 

This granted them the right to vote.

 

Since then, the GOP has not won a single presidential election in California.

 

If TX (40 electoral votes) goes the way of California, the GOP will cease to exist.

BREAKING: Wisconsin election integrity journalist Peter Bernegger was arrested last night and charged with a BOGUS crime. Bernegger has been revealing countless election law violations that have implicated many officials in the state

 

They charged him with “Simulating Legal Process” which has only been used TWICE since 1977

 

Bernegger teamed up with organization Wisconsin H.O.T to file 50 ethics complaints with the Wisconsin Elections Commission against both Democrats and Republican campaigns for allegedly accepting laundered funds

 

Wisconsin H.O.T also says the arrest itself was completely improper, "Despite the arrest warrant issued by Court Commissioner Mark Fremgen, there was never a summons issued to Bernegger that is required in a felony charge. Sonar Images Reveal Extent of Underwater Damage

 

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Baltimore District has released the first underwater sonar images of the collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge. The imagery, supplied by the the U.S. Navy’s Naval Sea System Command’s (NAVSEA) Supervisor of Salvage and Diving (SUPSALV), were captured using an underwater imaging tool known as “CODA Octopus,” which will help guide divers using real-time 3D sonar due to the reduced visibility of the water.

 

“With visibility clouded to just one to two feet because of the four to five feet of mud and loose bottom of the Patapsco River… divers must be guided via detailed verbal directions from operators in vessels topside viewing real-time CODA imagery,” USACE Baltimore wrote on X.

Russia Probes 'Ukraine, US Ties' To Terror Attack As Putin Says Gunmen Did It "For Money"

 

Russia is continuing to make arrests of alleged conspirators involved in the March 22 terror attack on Crocus City Hall in a Moscow suburb which left at least 140 dead and hundreds injured and wounded.

 

In addition to the four gunmen who were quickly detained, dozens of other alleged plotters have been rounded up amid an ongoing investigation. The Kremlin says it is probing Ukrainian and potential US links to the deadly attack.

 

Moscow previously announced "substantial evidence" of the attackers' financial links to Ukraine involving cryptocurrency transfers. President Putin has acknowledged that 'Islamic extremists' were behind it, yet said some other entity or even state was likely directing them.

 

In fresh statements translated to English in Russian state media, Putin said of the terrorists, "They’re doing anything for money, not guided by any religious or political considerations, only financial ones." He added that "any information can be easily bought and sold" in such a market. He vowed "We will definitely get them" – in apparent reference to those who ultimately masterminded the plot.

 

Washington has vehemently rejected any accusations against either Ukraine or the US or Western governments. Instead, it says the Biden White House tried to warn Russian authorities.

 

However, on Tuesday Russia’s spy chief, FSB head Sergei Naryshkin stated that US warnings were too broad and ambiguous. There wasn't enough info to prevent any attack, he said.

 

"The Federal Security Service [FSB] received some information from the U.S. intelligence services that such a thing was unfortunately possible," Naryshkin told a press briefing. "But as our Russian colleagues said, the information was too general and did not allow us to fully identify those who committed this terrible crime," he was cited by Interfax as saying.

 

Putin in his Tuesday comments also referenced the "mercenary terrorist attacks" which are "a weapon that is being used against Russia" but that in the end it will be a "double-edged weapon" blowing back on those who use it.

US Fumes Over IDF Strike On Aid Workers, But Still Refuses 'Conditions' On Military Transfers

 

Update(1635ET): In a Tuesday afternoon press briefing, National Security Council Communications Adviser John Kirby expressed that the US is "outraged" by the targeted strike on the World Central Kitchen (WCK) convoy overnight. "We were outraged to learn of an IDF strike that killed a number of civilian humanitarian workers yesterday from the World Central Kitchen, which has been relentlessly working to get food to those who are hungry in Gaza," he said.

 

Kirby laid out that the US expects Israel to conduct a broad and legitimate investigation: "We hope that those findings will be made public, and that there is appropriate accountability held," he told the briefing. Kirby vowed that the US "will continue to press Israel to do more" in protecting aid workers, and noted over 200 local and international aid workers have been killed since the Gaza war started.

 

The White House also confirmed that President Biden called WCK founder José Andrés and expressed condolences for the seven staff members killed in the strike. The celebrity chef on Tuesday lashed out at Israel for its "indiscriminate killing" of his employees while they were delivering aid.

 

"The Israeli government needs to stop this indiscriminate killing. It needs to stop restricting humanitarian aid, stop killing civilians and aid workers, and stop using food as a weapon," Andrés said on X. Israel has called it "unintentional" and "tragic" - with PM Netanyahu earlier in the day expressing regret (see below).

 

The killing of the aid workers, which included three British nationals, an Australian, a Polish national, an American-Canadian dual citizen and a Palestinian, has been featured throughout the day by US news networks. For example for the early half of Tuesday it was the top frontpage story at CNN.com.

 

But despite the US expressing "outrage" over the attack, when members of the White House press pool got into Q&A with Kirby, he still passionately emphasized that Israel has not violated international humanitarian norms in Gaza. This was pointed out as several clips circulated of the heated exchange online..

Releasing a bizarre video, Mulvaney is in a bubble bath, clothed, with a tiered display of Bud Light cans in a corner as he sips the brew while somewhat dancing in the suds. In another Instagram post, Mulvaney announced the partnering comes as he celebrates “365 days of womanhood,” with a can emblazoned with his image and even a March Madness promotional contest. Whatever happened to QAnon?

The once-vocal group and its worldview have largely been folded into the broader Republican Party

As the 2020 election approached, then-President Donald Trump had two problematic groups of supporters that he didn’t want to alienate. One was the Proud Boys, an extremist group that had already earned a reputation for engaging in violence against opponents. The other was more loosely knit: adherents of the QAnon movement.

QAnon was problematic for very different reasons. While there had been crimes linked to the movement (including at least one killing), the political challenge was primarily that the most fervent supporters held views that were somewhere between bizarre and deranged. There’s an international cabal of prominent people in entertainment and the Democratic Party that worships Satan and traffics children to ingest a chemical they produce? Got it.

Those views sat at the extreme, certainly. But even more anodyne manifestations of QAnonism were dubious, centered on an anonymous figure, Q, who allegedly worked in the Trump administration and was helping the president combat the evil deeds of his enemies. Q began posting cryptic messages online a few months into Trump’s presidency, with tens of thousands of people subsequently parsing them for hidden meaning.

By mid-2018, QAnon was a prominent part of Trump rallies. Supporters held up signs or large “Q"s to get on camera, with success. By early 2019, after a spate of news stories drawing attention to the movement’s bizarre beliefs, adherents reported being asked to hide any Q insignia at the president’s rallies.

Then the election rolled around. Trump’s campaign slowly began to embrace members of the movement, recognizing its scale and loyalty to his politics. He refused to condemn even the more extreme forms the movement took and, only weeks before Election Day, even endorsed the idea that QAnon members were combating child trafficking.

Trump lost his reelection bid but worked fervently to avoid leaving the White House. That culminated in the riot at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, an event at which QAnon had a prominent presence.

And then the movement mostly evaporated. Adherents still existed; Trump began elevating their content on his social media platform with regularity. But QAnon simply wasn’t the same force that it had been when he was president.

To explore the reason QAnon lost so much energy — and to figure out where it went — I spoke with The Washington Post’s Will Sommer, author of the book “Trust the Plan: The Rise of QAnon and the Conspiracy That Unhinged America.”

Sommer points to 2020 as the height of the QAnon movement's size and influence. It wasn't just Trump's reelection bid, though that was important, given Trump's role in the purported fight against the elites. It was also the pandemic and the Black Lives Matter protests — and even the death of Jeffrey Epstein, a galvanizing point of skepticism about official narratives.

Then came the election and Trump's response to it — a response that was itself centered on a wide-ranging, unproven (and untrue) theory about a conspiracy fomented by Democratic elites to keep him out of power. QAnon adherents — who'd come to believe that there would soon be a “storm” in which their evildoing opponents were uprooted, jailed or killed — were paying attention.

“QAnon played a huge role in Jan. 6,” Sommer said. He noted that Ashli Babbitt, the woman killed by a law enforcement officer as she climbed through a window at the Capitol, embraced the movement. So did scores of others arrested for their involvement in the riot. If the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys aimed to be the spark for the unrest that began that day, Sommer explained, QAnon adherents served effectively as the gasoline.

The effort to block Joe Biden's presidency failed. Trump moved to Florida. Q — generally believed to be a man named Ron Watkins — stopped posting new messages.

“You end up with a sort of reformulated QAnon that is sort of ‘QAnon in the wilderness,’ ” Sommer explained. “It’s no longer ‘this is at hand, the storm,’ but it becomes, you know, perhaps that Trump is secretly still in power or the Biden presidency is being filmed at Tyler Perry Studios or that the election was stolen.”

It was certainly harder to think that Trump was still fighting the satanic cabal from the cozy confines of Mar-a-Lago. But that wasn’t the only reason that QAnon lost steam. Its energy was also co-opted.

“QAnon and these conspiratorial beliefs and a lot of the ideas that were at the core of it … that has become more mainstreamed in the Republican Party,” Sommer explained. “It's not that the Republican Party rejected QAnon, but that QAnon sort of assimilated into the GOP.”

It was long the case that Trump embraced conspiratorial thinking, even before the advent of QAnon (or even his presidency). This created an unusual dynamic. As one researcher of conspiracy theories explained when I spoke to him in 2017, “the permission that having a conspiracy-theorist-in-chief offers suggests that [conspiracy theorizing] can be much more explicit than it previously was.” Trump’s rhetoric about how he is the target of conspiratorial actors served helped serve as groundwork for QAnon and QAnon-like thinking, and that thinking remained robust even after the QAnon framework fell away.

Sommer notes that this was in part intentional. “QAnon” as a term became toxic in the public eye, giving adherents a reason to abandon the term.

There's a good example of the evolution that followed Biden's ascent to the presidency: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.).

“This is someone who was posting on Facebook constantly about QAnon,” Sommer explained. “Her posts about QAnon were really intricate. She was debating the veracity of, what’s a legitimate Q clue? That’s the kind of thing where you don’t just inadvertently tweet ‘where we go one, we go all,’ ” — a QAnon slogan that became a shorthand for signaling at least some alliance with the movement.

Greene won her 2020 bid for the House and stepped away from that past affiliation. But she still embraces extremist claims. And part of her focus during the Republican effort to investigate Joe Biden and his family was that his son was somehow involved in sex trafficking.

For many adherents, the conspiracy simply metastasized.

“If you believe the election was stolen, there's a whole host of other things you can believe in and QAnon has really provided a buffet of options,” Sommer said. “That's when it becomes this slide into, 'Everything is a psy-op.' 'The Baltimore bridge collapsing is a psy-op.' This reflexive suspicion.”

The question then becomes what happens should Trump win reelection to the White House.

Sommer notes that the movement first emerged when Trump's administration was struggling in late 2017. QAnon presented an alternative picture.

“I think the reason Q took off was that it offered a different world where Trump was constantly winning and fulfilling his promises,” he explained. “Also, it gives you that taste of a political campaign, like, 'oh, we're still waging war on those Democrats,' rather than 'we're debating tax cuts.' ”

As one adherent I spoke to in 2018 put it, “I view it as hope. … Despite all the chaos the country is going through, there is a backbone of what’s taking place behind the scenes.”

Should Trump return to the White House, then, he might bring Q with him — figuratively, at least. The galaxy of voices who promoted QAnon the first time around still exists — voices like “X22 Report,” which has recently hosted figures close to Trumpworld. There's an army of people who believe that Trump is engaged in a ferocious, clandestine battle against an oppressive, powerful cabal of elites and who will readily elevate that idea given the opportunity or inclination to do so.

Trump would no doubt once again be happy to have their support.

If someone wished to destroy America, could he do anything more catastrophic than what we currently see and hear each day?

What would an existential enemy do that we have not already done to ourselves?

 

Here are eleven now familiar steps to civilizational destruction:

 

1) Wipe out a 2,000-mile border. Allow 10 million foreign nationals to enter unlawfully. Have no audit of any; nullify all federal immigration laws. Let toxic drugs in that kill 100,000 Americans a year. Give free support for those millions who broke the law. Smear any objectors as racists and xenophobes.

 

2) Run up $35 trillion in national debt. Keep adding $1 trillion to it each 100 days. Defame anyone wishing to cut wild spending as cruel and inhumane.

 

3). Appease or subsidize enemies like Iran and China. Demonize allies like Israel. Allow terrorists to attack Americans without response. See Islam as either similar or superior to Christianity. Make amends to leftist governments for supposedly past toxic American international behavior. Follow the lead of international agencies like the UN, ICC, and WHO to atone for past American neocolonial and imperialist behavior. Recede to second-tier international status, befitting American decline.

 

4) In a multiracial democracy, redefine identity only as one’s tribal affiliation. Ensure each identity group rivals the other for victimhood and the state spoils it confers. Redefine all political issues by race and sex oppressors and oppressed. Destroy all meritocratic standards of admission, retention, promotion, and commendation.

5) Redefine violent crime as understandable, cry-of-the-heart expressions of social justice. Ensure no bail and same-day release for arrested, repeat violent felons. Empathize with the violent killer and rapist; ignore their victims, especially if slain police-officers.

 

6). Emasculate the military by using non-meritocratic standards of race, gender, and sexual orientation to determine promotion and commendation. 7) Reinvent the justice system to indict, bankrupt, convict, jail and eliminate political opponents. Use ballot removal, impeachment, civil suits, and state and federal indictments rather than elections to defeat an opponent. Mob the homes of non-compliant Supreme Court Justices, attack them personally by name.

 

8) Encourage the fusion of the bureaucratic state with the electric media to form a powerful force for political audit, surveillance, censorship, and coercion. Marry the FBI to Silicon Valley and hire its contractors to warp the news and hound supposed enemies of the people.

 

9.) Make war on affordable gasoline and natural gas. Substitute inefficient, unreliable, and expensive wind and solar power, even as energy prices bankrupt the middle class.

 

10.) Marry late, but preferably not at all. Consider males toxic, especially boys. Have no children, or as few as possible. Otherwise, assure children they are entitled, and must be sheltered. Raise them to have grievances against past generations and current norms.

 

11.) Turn world-class universities into indoctrination centers. Suspend the Bill of Rights on campuses. Train youth to graduate despising their own culture and civilization. Recruit foreign students from hostile nations to subsidize campus commissarbloat. Replace the curriculum with therapeutic propaganda. Ban the SAT/ACT and do not evaluate high school GPAs. Ensure merit does not select the student body. Charge tuition higher than the rate of inflation. Bill the government when students default on their loans.

 

So why are those controlling Biden using him to advance much of such a destructive agenda that would end America as we know it?

 

1) They are delusional and think their socialist and globalist agendas are working and will save us.

 

2) They are raging nihilists who do not like the U.S. and deliberately want it destroyed as a service to the world. A ruined U.S. is preferable to a strong America.

 

3) They are Jacobin revolutionaries who are intentionally erasing the old United States as a prerequisite for creating an entirely new America that will arise from the ashes with no trace or even memory of its past.

 

4) They have no agenda. They are aimless fools, and utter incompetents. These bunglers just wing it day-to-day, in response to what their radical media, academic, and political masters dictate is necessary for them to retain power. They have no idea of the damage they are doing.

Cherry Point to host diverse military exercises throughout April

 

Craven County, NC — Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point will be conducting a variety of military training exercises this month.

 

MCAS Cherry Point officials say a large-force ground exercise will be done at the Outlying Landing Field Oak Grove from Monday, April 1-4, 8-12 and 18-23. A separate exercise will be done at the Marine Corps Outlying Field Atlantic from April 18-23.

 

Two parachute operations will take place later in the month that will last as late as 10:00 p.m.

 

The first parachute operation will take place on April 17-18 at the Marine Corps Outlying Landing Field Bogue. The second parachute operation will be held at Oak Grove from April 23-24.

 

MCAS officials say between April 28-30 special boat teams will be operating in and around the Cherry Point neighboring waterways and in and out of Bombing Target 9, conducting live-fire operations until 10:00 p.m.

 

Residents or businesses near the area can expect to hear a series of loud noises along with an increase in military vehicles and aviation.

 

Explosive ordnance training will be conducted at various times on Cherry Point throughout the month of April.

According to the newly released data, leading fast food restaurants increased prices by about 60% between 2014 and 2024. That is nearly double the rate of inflation. According to the consumer price index, the general cost of goods and services has gone up 31% in the past decade. The data shows that prices have doubled at McDonald's over that time. FinanceBuzz noted that the average price of a McDouble increased from $1.19 in 2014 to $3.19 currently.
