Why was the REAL ID Act created?'

 

In response to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced a plan for ensuring the safety of all Americans. The Federal REAL ID Act of 2005 passed by Congress created this requirement to implement the Act.

Some critics claimed that the Real ID Act violated the Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution as a federal legislation in an area that, under the terms of the Tenth Amendment, was the province of the states. Anthony Romero, the executive director of the ACLU, stated: "Real ID is an unfunded mandate that violates the Constitution's 10th Amendment on state powers, destroys states' dual sovereignty and consolidates every American's private information, leaving all of us far more vulnerable to identity thieves".[93]

ON MONDAY, THE WASHINGTON POST (OWNED JEFF BEZOS) SAID, “DEMOCRATS SPAR OVER REGISTRATION AS WORRIES OVER YOUNG AND MINORITY VOTERS GROW.

“The rise in Trump support among nonregistered voters has run up against a long-held Democratic policy priority of growing the voter rolls.”

It’s called the Trump Effect. After 4 years of FJB, young black people and young Hispanic people see what young white people see in him — a leader who cares about them. FJB only cares about the bribes.

Strauss said, “Indeed, if we were to blindly register nonvoters and get them on the rolls, we would be distinctly aiding Trump’s quest for a personal dictatorship.”

The story said, “He also warned that efforts to gain Democratic votes among younger and non-black people of color were often expensive — costing more than $1,200 per net vote in 2020, by one estimate — because the groups now include so many non-Democrats. Among voters of color, he wrote that ‘only African American registration is clearly a prime opportunity,’ adding that nettingDemocratic voters among Black people cost approximately $575 per vote in 2020.”

We are winning. Young people want to be on the winning team. People also know the 2020 election was not on the up-and-up. They are fixing that.

 

AP reported, “Private money to fund elections will be banned in Wisconsinafter voters approved a constitutional amendment on April 2 put forward by Republicans in reaction to grants received in 2020 that were funded by donations from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

“Voters also approved a second question put on the ballot by the Republican-controlled Legislature that amends the constitution to say that only election officials can administer elections. That’s already state law, but putting it in the constitution makes it more difficult to repeal or change.

“Democrats opposed both measures, which they argued would make it more difficult to conduct elections in the presidential battleground state.”

By more difficult to conduct elections, AP and the Democrat Party meant more difficult to steal elections.

It is not as if the election boards needed Zuckbucks. He ponied up $300 million — or less than 1% of the state government’s $49.7 billion ($49,700,000,000) budget.

No, the money was used by Democrats in key states to stuff the ballot boxes. Voters in Wisconsin saw through it like Jacqueline Bisset’s T-shirt in The Deep and voted accordingly.

Dumping the illegals on Democrats destroyed decades of propaganda. Conservatives win when they force Democrats to practice what they preach.

Our moon will cast a totality of its shadow in a path about 100 miles wide arcing from Del Rio Texas to Bangor Maine, with lesser effects outward on each side of the path so that night will seem to fall at mid-day over most of America east of the Big Muddy. I daresay most adult citizens of sore-beset America actually don’t care. . . can’t care, because they have trouble enough of their own keeping a roof overhead, a car on the road, and food on the table. The Woke-Marxist college kids are wailing over the actions of Israel in Gaza — as they will for anyone within their dumb-ass equation of victims-and-oppressors, especially involving brown and white people. It is a brutal operation in Gaza, for sure, but so was the Hamas act-of-war on October 7 that many want to forget about now. They still hold and torture hostages, you know.

 

I doubt that Israel wants to exterminate the Gazans, but at this point they would probably like to export them to other nations that share their Arab culture. Those other Arab nations are not eager to take in the Gazans. The fractious minority in the USA who militate against Israel because, you know, the Jews, never ask if the Palestinians have some other plan, some other position other than From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free! — meaning Death to Israel. Can you name any alternate proposal they have proffered? No, because there is none.

 

Not only have they no intention of getting along somehow with Israel, but they give every sign that they prefer to continue making war on her one way or another: rocket attacks, café bombings, rape and murder ops. Because they’re oppressed. They might have turned their 40 kilometers of Mediterranean beach-front into a world-beating resort, but instead they spent billions in international aid building a tunnel network and purchasing arms to wage war against Israel. And with October 7, they got war.

 

So, the rest of the world is very concerned now that this will lead to World War Three, world wars being the grand prize at the end of many historical cycles. Of course, the Iranians have been chanting Death to Israel in so many words for decades, so no one can mistake Iran’s intentions. And Iran has funded and deployed Hezbollah military bases on Israel’s northern frontier with Lebanon. They are said to have thousands of high-tech rockets capable of decimating Tel Aviv. Everybody knows that launching such an operation could result, ten minutes later, in Tehran becoming an ashtray.

 

And what if Mr. Netanyahu launches a peremptory attack against southern Lebanon to destroy those bases? Does Iran ride to the rescue? And does Russia ride to Iran’s rescue? And does China rush in to secure the sea lanes in the Persian Gulf and the oil refineries of Iran that Israel doesn’t manage to blow up? And what does the USA do? While certified solar eclipse glasses are the preferred method for viewing the eclipse, alternative methods do exist that don't necessarily sacrifice one's safety.

But beware: The most common welding goggles and helmets aren't typically strong enough to adequately withstand the sun's powerful rays and protect your vulnerable eyes.

A 64-year-old New Jersey man who operates a Trump RV was brutally beaten with a hammer on Friday and airlifted to a local hospital in critical condition.

 

Rocky Granata of Edison, a beloved father and grandfather, was well-known in the region and across the nation for his Trump RV.

 

Granata attended Trump rallies, traveled across the country in his Trump RV and sold merchandise.

 

The suspect, Michael Gonzales, 36, was charged with attempted murder.

 

The Asbury Park Press reported:

 

A 64-year-old man from Edison was hospitalized after he was struck with a sledgehammer during an attack at Crown Tire on Route 36 in the Port Monmouth section on Friday, according to police.

 

Michael Gonzales, 36, of Philadelphia, was charged with attempted murder. He was detained by witnesses at the scene and taken into police custody upon their arrival, said Middletown Deputy Police Chief Paul J. Bailey.

 

The victim suffered “significant injuries to his head” and was taken by helicopter to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, Bailey said.

 

An investigation has determined that Gonzales struck the victim in the head multiple times with a hand-held sledgehammer, Bailey said.

Now, as we enter the fourth year of the great experiment, America is $35 trillion in debt, borrowing $1 trillion every 100 days. Home mortgages are at 7 percent. Key prices for food, insurance, rent, and fuels are 30-40 percent higher than when Biden entered office.

 

The nation has been humiliated and emasculated abroad. Racial relations are the worst in a half-century. The military is in virtual receivership. Biden is polling about 40 percent approval and is behind in key swing states in most of the 2024 polls.

 

As a result, the Biden administration [regime] is furiously trying to find a way to release more of its hated oil and natural gas on the world market. It stopped refilling the strategic petroleum reserve that it had earlier drained to lower gas prices before the 2022 midterms.

 

So it will quietly pump more oil and gas, appease Iran in fear of a war in the oil-producing Middle East, plead with the once “pariah” Saudis, and order the Ukrainians not to hit Russian oil installations—all to get more oil produced to lower November 2024 gas prices.

 

It will head nod to eliminating fossil fuels, mandating EVs, banning natural gas stoves, and subsidizing more inefficient wind and solar farms. But it now realizes that its green agenda on its watch will wreck the United States economy and throw the left out of power. So it pivots to an old-fashioned “Drill, World, Drill” mantra—at least until the election is over.

 

Biden fulfilled his agenda of getting 10 million illegal aliens into the United States by destroying the southern border. The point was to swarm America with poor, unaudited migrants, all in need of massive federal and state assistance, all supposedly now loyal to their entitlement benefactors. Who could stop them from voting as repayment to their enablers in the new age of 70 percent mail-in ballots, same-day registration, inadequate authentication and audit of ballots, third-party vote harvesting, ballot curing, and Zuckbucks pouring into key precincts to absorb the work of the registrars?

 

Most of the illegals went to Texas and Florida, key swing states that the left still thinks it can flip to blue status. Long term, the 10 million will recalibrate congressional districts to favor neo-socialist agendas. Short-term, millions of new arrivals unlawfully may still try to vote in 2024.

In all these cases, the woke genie left the bottle—and won’t go back in. So it will be hard for the administration to assure a long-suffering public that things are just wonderful, much less to reverse these policies, if indeed they are reversible, before November.

 

Expect instead nonstop distraction as the left beats the January 6 horse to death, calls for abortion on demand, and waits for its underling judges, prosecutors, and juries to jail or bankrupt Trump and therefore do what balloting cannot.

NEJM Study Reveals Pfizer’s Antiviral Drug Paxlovid Does ‘Little or Nothing’ Against COVID-19

 

A new study published in the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) raises serious questions about the efficacy of Pfizer’s antiviral drug Paxlovid, which was previously authorized for emergency use to treat mild to moderate COVID-19 cases.

 

Paxlovid received emergency use authorization in December 2021 as the first at-home treatment for COVID-19 in the United States. It was touted as a cost-effective and efficient method to combat early COVID-19 infections.

 

Pfizer reported that Paxlovid significantly reduced the risk of COVID-19-related hospitalization or death by 88% in their press release.

 

The Gateway Pundit has been covering the inefficacy and adverse reactions associated with Pfizer’s antiviral drug.

 

Scientific documentation about post-Paxlovid relapse has been available since the fall of 2022. Pfizer’s application to the FDA for emergency use authorization of Paxlovid stated that in the placebo-controlled clinical trial — which included 2,246 participants — “several subjects appeared to have a rebound in SARS-CoV-2 RNA levels around Day 10 or Day 14” after beginning treatment, NBC reported.

 

Following this report, Pfizer released a statement admitting that it failed to reduce the risk of confirmed and symptomatic COVID-19 infection in adults living with someone who had been exposed to the virus.

 

“We designed the clinical development program for PAXLOVID to be comprehensive and ambitious with the aim of being able to help combat COVID-19 in a very broad population of patients,” said Albert Bourla, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Pfizer.

 

“While we are disappointed in the outcome of this particular study, these results do not impact the strong efficacy and safety data we’ve observed in our earlier trial for the treatment of COVID-19 patients at high risk of developing severe illness, and we are pleased to see the growing global use of PAXLOVID in that population,” Bourla added.

 

It can be recalled that Paxlovid was increasingly linked to instances of rebound infections. Notably, several high-profile figures such as Dr. Anthony Fauci, Joe Biden, Jill Biden, and former CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky have reported experiencing a resurgence of COVID-19 symptoms following treatment with the drug.

 

The majority of these individuals had received two initial doses of the vaccine and two booster shots, with Dr. Walensky having received an additional third booster.

Democrat Abigail Spanberger Complains About Having to Talk to Constituents for 30 Minutes.

 

Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA),a former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) spook, has complained about having to talk to her constituents, according to a recent interview.“Conversations become very lengthy… We ended up spending 30 minutes inside my constituent’s home,” Spanberger lamented, noting some issues she’s run into while campaigning alongside Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD).

 

Raskin, one of the chief Trump critics among Congressional Democrats and propagators of the Russia Collusion hoax, has hit the national campaign trail to help boost the electoral prospects of Democrats like Spanberger by energizing the anti-Donald Trump vote in their races. In Spanberger’s case, the Virginia Democrat is foregoing re-election in Congress and instead seeking her party’s nomination for Virginia governor in 2025.Some have seen Spanberger’s move as a tacit admission that she would be unable to hold her vulnerable House seat in Virginia’s 7th Congressional District. While the district went to President Joe Biden by nearly seven points in 2020, Spanberger’s lack of responsiveness to her constituents and out-of-step liberal voting record on immigration has led to the partisan-lean narrowing. Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R-VA) won the district by five points in 2021.Spanberger’s background as a CIA officer made her an appealing candidate in 2018 — especially as national Democrats hyped up conspiracies about then-President Donald Trump and Russian collusion in the 2016 election.
