A shocking new Gallup poll showed that 84% of Americans SUPPORT requiring photo ID to vote.

 

This includes 67% of DEMOCRATS who support the measure.

 

This makes sense because you need an ID to:

• Board a plane

• Open a bank account

• Start a new job

• Or practically any interaction that involves other parties

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that voters who cast faulty mail-in ballots can subsequently cast provisional votes.

 

In a four-to-three decision, the state Supreme Court determined that the Butler County Board of Elections must count the provisional ballots of voters whose mail-in ballots were rejected for not following instructions properly. Voters whose mail-in ballots were rejected for lacking the secrecy envelope, missing information, or containing inaccurate information are now allowed to vote using provisional ballots, the Washington Examiner reported.

Trump claims he would have prevented the Hamas attack on Israel

 

When he was president, he made sure Tehran had no money to fund its proxies, the Republican candidate has told Joe Rogan

 

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has told podcaster Joe Rogan that if he had been in office, he would have prevented last year’s October 7 Hamas incursion into Israel.

 

During his much-hyped appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast on Saturday, Trump said that when he had been US president between 2017 and 2021, his approach was to “do things that… do not necessarily make me so popular… just do what is right.” According to the 78-year-old, one of the examples of that approach was his treatment of Iran.

 

In 2018, Trump unilaterally withdrew Washington from the landmark Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), which saw Iran giving up on its military nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of international sanctions, and instead imposed a bevy of new restrictions on Tehran.

 

"Iran was broke. I told China if you buy [oil from Tehran] you cannot do business in the US under any circumstances. I was going… to go cold turkey with China. Some people think that would have been a good idea anyway,” the former president said.

He claimed that he had also warned “many” other countries that if they purchase even “one barrel of oil” from Iran they would be barred from the US market.

 

Because of this, “Iran was broke. They had no money for Hezbollah; they had no money for Hamas,” Trump said.

 

"We would have never had the attack on Israel at all” if he had been president, the Republican nominee insisted, referring to the October 7, 2023 strike.

 

During the Hamas incursion into Israel, approximately 1,200 people were killed and 250 others were taken hostage. The ongoing military operation which West Jerusalem launched in Gaza in response to the attack has left at least 42,847 people dead and 100,544 others wounded so far, according to the enclave’s health ministry.

 

Early on Saturday, October 26, the Israeli military announced that it had carried out strikes on Iran, hitting approximately 20 military sites in the country in retaliation for Tehran’s missile attack on Israel earlier this month. Iran has confirmed that the bombardment took place, but said it only resulted in “limited damage.”

On October 1, Iran fired nearly 200 ballistic missiles at Israel in response to the killing of the Hamas and Hezbollah leaders as well as an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) general.

A focus group of eight purportedly undecided voters in Pennsylvania told Mark Halperin’s 2WAY that they aren’t swayed by accusations that former President Donald Trump is “a fascist" who praised Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler.

 

Vice President Kamala Harris said during a CNN town hall on Wednesday that she thinks Trump is “a fascist” after Trump’s former White House chief of staff John Kelly said in interviews that Trump praised Adolf Hitler and his generals. The Trump campaign has denied these allegations.

 

Halperin asked the focus group if they had heard Harris’s comment and when the attendees confirmed that they had all heard her remarks, each shook their heads “no” when asked if “it’s valuable” or “important” for Harris to bring up the accusations Kelly made.

 

One voter named Josh Cantor said that Harris “obviously thinks it’s going to help her. I don’t think it does it all,” adding, “I don’t know why, if it was Kelly who heard the president say that, I’m not saying he did or he didn’t, I don’t think he’d lie — I think you said that, Mark, on an episode — but I think that he had a responsibility to resign the day that was said if that’s true. I don’t think that’s the case.”

 

Another voter, Karsten Chu, said, “I think part of the reason why I’m being pushed towards Trump so strongly is that I find that the Democrats and the left just keep going straight to Hitler all of the time with everything.”

 

Chu added that people on the right often make references to Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin when referring to the left, saying, “it’s like we’re fighting World War II every single day for every single election so it’s so exhausting. Israel warned Iran ahead of latest strike – Axios

 

IDF warplanes launched multiple missiles early on Saturday, targeting a number of facilities in the Islamic Republic

 

Israel relayed a warning to Iran through several third parties ahead of its missile strike against the Islamic Republic on Saturday, Axios has reported, citing three anonymous sources. According to the media outlet, West Jerusalem indicated what type of targets it would attack, while cautioning Tehran against retaliating.

 

Early on Saturday, IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari reported that Israeli forces were conducting “precise strikes on military targets” in Iran. The operation, reportedly codenamed ‘Days of Repentance,’ was being launched “in response to months of continuous attacks from the regime in Iran against the State of Israel,” he clarified.

 

The “Israelis made it clear to the Iranians in advance what they are going to attack in general and what they are not going to attack,” Axios reported. The US media outlet asserted that this reflected an “attempt to limit the ongoing exchange of attacks between Israel and Iran and prevent a wider escalation.”

 

According to the report, Israel also warned the Islamic Republic against responding to its attack, threatening a more devastating strike if Tehran does retaliate.

Axios claimed that Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp was one of the channels used by Israel to convey its message to Iran. In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, the diplomat confirmed that he had spoken “with the Iranian Foreign Minister about war and the heightened tensions in the region.” He added that he had urged Tehran to exercise restraint.

 

“IAF aircraft struck missile manufacturing facilities used to produce the missiles that Iran fired at the State of Israel over the last year,” according to an IDF statement. Moreover, the Jewish State claims to have struck the Islamic Republic’s surface-to-air missile capabilities.

 

Iran reopened its airspace at 9am local time (6am GMT), with the country’s National Air Defense Headquarters reporting that Israel’s “provocative” attack had resulted in “limited damage… in certain areas,” and that a more detailed assessment was still underway.

 

“The country’s integrated air defense system successfully intercepted and countered this aggressive action,” officials in Tehran asserted.

 

On October 1, Iran fired nearly 200 ballistic missiles at Israel in response to the killing of the Hamas and Hezbollah leaders as well as an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) general.

I I thought Joe did a decent job, very respectful and did the best job explaining the weave. He mentioned 17 about 4 times, one time after stating the same number was 10 earlier. Texas business leader "Joe from Texas" Penland Sr., who has been asking candidates to sign onto the "Contract from the American People," a 10-point initiative to fight the spiraling national debt, told Newsmax that he's endorsing former President Donald Trump, saying his platform to revive the economy closely matches what Americans are demanding.

 

"If you look at Donald Trump's platform, what he has, about eight of these 10 [on the contract] are on his 15-point script that he has," Penland told Newsmax's National Report Friday.

 

Still, Penland said he and others working with the initiative didn't support Trump from day one because two years ago, they didn't know who would be in the election.

 

"We held off until we talked to thousands of people to see what they really want," said Penland, explaining that the contract contains demands that make sense to the American people, and politicians are being asked to sign on and take the pledge to better the country.

 

Penland told Newsmax that the economy has gotten worse for the "last several presidents."

 

He added that when the election started, he got requests for money for campaigns, and decided to "take the money that they want" and launch an investigation into what is going on with debt and other problems.

 

"We hired some people and we put a team together and we started researching, and as you researched it, it got a lot worse than what you hear on the news or reading the paper," said Penland.

 

And while on tour around the country, Penland said the group learned that "people are really further into this than what the politicians give us credit."

"This contract is not from me and is not from Dave Walker, who's the former comptroller general of the United States who helped author it," he said. "This is from the American people. This is what the American people want. And the politicians need to listen to that."

 

The national debt is now at almost $36 trillion, and Penland pointed out that the Congressional Budget Office has projected that the United States will go $2 trillion more in the hole per year for the next 10 years.

 

"That would be $56 trillion," he said. "We'll pay $2 trillion a year in interest. That money should be helping children go to school, should be helping elderly people, should be taking care of our streets and our border.

The clandestine sharing of gun buyers’ identities — without their knowledge and consent — marked a significant departure for an industry that has long prided itself on thwarting efforts to track who owns firearms in America.

 

At least 10 gun industry businesses, including Glock, Smith & Wesson, Remington, Marlin and Mossberg, handed over names, addresses and other private data to the gun industry’s chief lobbying group, the National Shooting Sports Foundation.The NSSF then entered the gun owners’ details into what would become a massive database.

 

The data initially came from decades of warranty cards filled out by customers and returned to gun manufacturers for rebates and repair or replacement programs.

Donald Trump’s side is becoming ever more confident of victory. In recent weeks, RealClearPolitics Polling Averages show Harris’ national lead evaporating while Trump has moved slightly ahead in all six battleground states. Betting markets are now giving Trump the edge.

 

Still, the polls are very close, and Harris may win. If Trump could insist that he won the 2020 race when all the polls predicted his defeat, just imagine his response if he fails when he appeared to be succeeding. He will not go quietly into the good night.

 

Kamala Harris, meanwhile, has settled on a closing argument that focuses on Trump’s alleged unsuitability for office. As the candidate herself describes her opponent as an unstable threat to the Constitution, her surrogates are once again comparing him to Hitler, Stalin, and Mussolini. They honestly believe this rhetoric, which will make it impossible for them to bow to his ascension.

 

We have seen this movie before. The Democrats refused to accept Trump’s victory in 2016; he still won’t concede that President Biden won in 2020. As before, neither side will blame themselves for defeat; they will lash out at their perceived enemies. Each will advance their favored conspiracy theory – Trump will rail against the press and deep state, Democrats against foreign influence and misinformation – but both will cast the result as illegitimate.

 

This is what happens when you are controlled by tribal emotion, when your politics are governed by psychology rather than policy. People have too much invested in the outcome – literally, their sense of self – to engage in soul searching (at least in the short run).

 

Because of the different structures of each party, a Harris loss would be far more destructive to the country.

Hollywood star Zachary Levi revealed that there were “plenty of people” in Hollywood who had expressed fear of announcing their support for former President Donald Trump.

 

In a video on Instagram, Levi addressed claims from ABC’s The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg, that Hollywood had “always been a very right-leaning town,”revealing that “plenty of people” in the entertainment industry had told him they were scared to reveal they supported Trumpbecause there were “ramifications for” that, according to Variety.

 

“There are plenty, and by the way, they’ve sent me lots of messages, plenty of people in my industry, in Hollywood, who are terrified to publicly say they would vote for Donald Trump or be conservative in any way,” Levi said in the video. “That’s why you don’t see them. That’s why they’re not very prevalent or prominent. They know there’s ramifications for this kind of shit.”

 

Levi’s words came after Goldberg claimed that Hollywood was “a mixed bunch” and that it sometimes seems as if “there’s more Democrats and sometimes it seems like there’s more Republicans,” according to the outlet.

 

Goldberg referred to actors Dennis Quad and Jon Voight, who have been outspoken supporters of Trump.

 

In September, Levi announced that he was endorsingTrump, noting that he was a candidate who would be able to “take back this country.” Levi’s endorsement of Trump came after he previously endorsed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for president.

ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith revealed to Fox News’s Sean Hannity that he is voting for Kamala Harris this year even as he admitted that Harris lied to the country about Joe Biden’s serious mental decline.

 

Appearing on Fox News on Thursday on the Sean Hannity Show, Smith blasted Donald Trump’s mental state, according to the Daily Mail.

 

Hannity tried to drag out of Smith who he was voting for, but instead of directly endorsing Harris, he said who he could not vote for.

 

“I’d have voted almost for any Republican but him. Nikki Haley. Chris Christie. But not him,” Smith said.

 

But Hannity was astounded that Smith had ignored all of Harris’ problems.

 

“She has to give us word salads because she won’t tell us how she really feels. She’s hiding her true beliefs,” Hannity said outraged. “Donald Trump doesn’t do that.”

 

However, Smith struck back, averring that it is Trump who is less than cogent.

 

“I know you’re not talking about someone being lucid and cogent and enunciating their thoughts with clarity, and you’re bragging about Donald Trump,’ Smith said. ‘We can’t be watching the same stuff if that’s what you’re doing,” Smith retorted. “You’re not gonna do that today.”

 

Hannity also sparred with Smith after the sports broadcaster insisted that he would never have expected Kamala Harris to admit openly that Joe Biden was suffering from diminished mental capacity.

 

Still, Smith claimed that he wasn’t against Republicans.

 

“When you bring up issues in terms of character, or in terms of being truthful, or whatever, let me tell you something right now: You can bring a whole bunch of Republicans, and I’ll be cool with it,” Smith said. “You can’t bring up Trump to make a case against somebody else using those arguments.”
