Here is a situation report from my mother who is a retired Mortgage Specialist who worked in banking for 25 years at a top bank in Canada re: immigrant take over.

 

-If the manager is Indian they will always try to turn the place into 99% Indian employees

-Indian Director was creating jobs for her relatives from India to join the bank that had 0% banking experience, broken English, literally fresh off the boat

-That bank she was working for is literally now going out of business because they cannot turn in profits

-Anytime the Bank would do a charity fundraiser, none of the Indian employees ever donated a penny

-She would take transit to the city often and found out the Indians would forge the train passes so they never had to pay; so they're taking up space but bankrupting the transportation system

-The Indian managers would purposefully give my mother, and other non-Indians, a poor rating even though she was top 5 in sales consistently

We can train our brain to focus on positive thoughts, improving our well being and reducing the impacts from stress and anxiety.

The brain cannot respond to anxiety and gratitude at the same time. It is an “either/or” situation. We can feel anxious and other negative feelings, or we can feel grateful and all of the positive emotions that are associated with it.

The purpose of the sympathetic mode is to protect us in life-threatening emergency situations, so our body can respond quickly (think hunter about to be attacked by a lion). However, in modern society, the constant stressors in our life can cause us to stay in the “sympathetic/fight or flight” mode. So, how do we train ourselves to move out of fight or flight and back to a restful, calm state? Being in a state of gratitude has a potent effect on moving us to a parasympathetic (rest or digest) stage. When we express gratitude and receive the same, our brain releases dopamine and serotonin, the two crucial neurotransmitters responsible for our emotions, and they make us feel better, immediately enhancing our mood.

There are a number of health benefits to regularly practicing gratitude. In Alex Korb’s article, “How Gratitude Shapes your Brain,” he shares how studies have shown that a consistent gratitude practice helps with the following:

Deming NM police officer arrested on child abuse charges

 

Deming (US/MX border town)

 

A police officer is facing more than a dozen charges after being arrested.

 

Jesus Lopez, 34, of Deming, is facing four counts of child abuse, along with asexual exploitation of childrencharge. He is employed with the Deming Police Department and he is suspended without pay.

 

Court documents show Lopez was investigated for crimes committed between March and the end of November 2024. Lopez also faces six counts of assault or battery of a household member.

 

New Mexico State Police investigated the case against Lopez. He also faces a false imprisonment charge, and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

A report from Spanish paper El Mundo (behind a paywall) shows the Western powers preparing a ‘golden exile’ in London for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

 

That would follow a ‘peace agreement’ with Russia, according to ‘rumors’ emanating from Ukrainian diplomats.

While there’s no official confirmation of this plan, it is significant that MSM is finally talking about the impending defeat by the Kiev regime, and the need for elections.

 

The reported plan also includes the swift admission of Ukraine to the European Union (EU) as well as deployment of European peacekeeping forces from the United Kingdom and France.

 

“General Keith Kellogg, appointed by Donald Trump as the special representative for Ukraine, had previously disclosed some plans for organizing negotiations. According to ‘El Mundo’, the plan suggests that future U.S. military aid to Ukraine will depend on Ukraine’s participation in peace talks with Russia.”

 

El Mundo’s sources also float a widely repeated – and doubtful – data point: If Russia does not agree to participate in peace talks, Trump means to supply Ukraine with more weapons than ever.

 

“On Thursday, December 5, the head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, stated that Ukraine is prepared to hold elections immediately after the war with Russia ends.”

 

Media has reported on Kellogg’s plan including the ‘diplomatic recovery’ of newly conquered Russian territories, and the indefinite suspension of Ukraine’s ascension to NATO.

 

“Kellogg also proposes partially easing sanctions against Russia in exchange for agreeing to a ceasefire, freezing the front line, and creating a demilitarized zone in Ukraine. NYC Mayor Eric Adams Doesn’t Rule Out Joining GOP After Democrats Turn on Him (VIDEO)

 

Democrat Mayor Eric Adams did not rule out switching parties in a recent interview after giving his support for Trump’s agenda on the border.

 

Formerly a Republican, Adams switched to Democrat in 2002.

 

The move would make sense as Adams has taken some based immigration positions after four years of Biden’s border crisis.

 

Previously, Adams was targeted by Biden’s DOJ for alleged involvement in a web of corruption and illegal foreign donations, potentially implicating powerful interests spanning six foreign nations. The unidentified man remains at large in the wake of Wednesday's attack, which was described by police as "brazen, targeted" and "premeditated."

 

The FBI is assisting in a nationwide manhunt for the suspect, according to law enforcement sources.The bus the suspect is believed to have boarded out of the city made six or seven stops, and investigators have followed leads in multiple states, the sources said.

 

Police still do not have a name of the suspect, the sources said.

 

In another development in the investigation,police officers have recovered what is suspected to be the backpack carried by the suspected shooter, a source familiar with the case tells ABC News.

 

The bag was discovered Friday evening in Central Park, where the NYPD deployed an army of officers and drones to conduct a grid search, the source said.

 

=The suspect is seen in footage wearing a backpack prior to the shooting but does not appear to have it on in another video of him on a bike 15 minutes after the shooting.

The inbound bus originated in Atlantabut it was not immediately clear where the suspect boarded. Sources told ABC News he was spotted on board in Washington, D.C.

Police havecollected video of the suspect all over the city, including in the subway, in cabs and a McDonald’s, sources told ABC News.In each place, he paid with cash and he made sure to keep his mask on, which indicates to detectives he knew he was coming to New York City to commit the murder, sources said.

 

Police were able to find a surveillance image of the suspect without his face mask onbecause he was flirting with the woman who checked him into a hostel on Manhattan's Upper West Side, police sources said. As he stood at the check-in desk, the sources said the woman asked to see his smile. The shooter obliged, pulling down his mask long enough for the surveillance camera to capture his face.

 

Police have determined the suspectchecked into the hostel using a New Jersey license that wasn’t his own, police sources told ABC News.

 

The masked gunman shot Thompson at point-blank range at 6:44 a.m. Wednesday outside the New York Hilton Midtown, where Thompson was heading for his company's investors conference.

 

"The shooter then walks toward the victim and continues to shoot," NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said. "It appears that the gun malfunctions, as he clears the jam and begins to fire again."

 

Written on the shell casings were the words “deny,” “defend” and “depose,” according to police sources.

Canada bans an additional 324 firearms from public ownership, moves to seize them and ship them to Ukraine

According to a report out at Fox News today, Justin Trudeau’s government just took dictatorial action to outlaw hundreds of firearms, adding them to the growing list of what the Canadian people are not allowed to have, despite a God-given right to self defense. Leaders in Canada also said that they are working with the government of Ukraine to see how the guns can be donated to support the fight against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

 

For Trudeau and his progressive parliament sees it, the fight in Ukraine is all about defeating tyranny—and they arrived at the logical conclusion that defeating tyranny means arming the resisters. Trudeau is disarming his own tyrannized Canadian civilians… to arm Ukrainian civilians to fight “tyranny” — but who’s the real tyrant of this historical conflict?

Manslaughter charge against Daniel Penny dismissed

 

NEW YORK - A judge dismissed the second-degree manslaughter charge in the Daniel Penny trial after the jury said twice Friday that they were unable to reach a unanimous vote on it.

 

The dismissal of the charge clears the way for the jury to decide on the lesser charge of criminally negligent homicide, which carries up to four years in prison.

 

If convicted of manslaughter, Penny could have faced up to 15 years in prison. With the dismissal of that charge, that is no longer on the table.

 

Friday morning, the jury first informed the judge they were unable to reach unanimity on the manslaughter charge. The judge ordered them to keep deliberating. At around 3 p.m., the jury came back with a second note, saying they were still unable to reach a unanimous decision.

 

The defense moved for a mistrial, but the judge granted the prosecution's request to dismiss the charge, clearing the way for the jury to decide on criminally negligent homicide.

 

The jury was then sent home for the day, to return on Monday.

 

Penny initially charged with manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide

 

Penny, 26, is charged in the chokehold death of Jordan Neely aboard a subway last year. The Marine veteran pleaded not guilty to manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide charges.

 

The judge instructed the jury at the beginning of deliberations that they must agree on the manslaughter charge before they can even consider the second charge of criminally negligent homicide. The jury has been told all along that if they were to find Penny guilty of second-degree manslaughter, they would not have to issue a decision on the lesser count.

 

Deliberations cross 20 hours

 

The jury has deliberated for roughly 20 hours since beginning their talks on Tuesday.

 

The jury has sent several notes, requesting to watch cell phone and police bodycam footage of the incident, as well as Penny's interview at the police station. They also wanted to hear readback of the defense's cross examination of New York City Medical Examiner Dr. Cynthia Harris, who performed Neely's autopsy, and ruled his cause of death compression of the neck.

 

Jurors also asked for part of the judge's instructions, as well as the legal definitions of "recklessness" and "negligence," to be re-read to them. They also have asked the judge for clarification on the term "reasonable person."

 

Prosecutors have argued that while Penny's intentions were good in restraining Neely, he had him in a chokehold for too long. Penny's defense has argued he wasn't using pressure during the hold, just holding Neely down. A defense witness also disagreed with the Medical Examiner's cause of death determination, arguing Neely died due to a combination of factors including drugs and sickle cell crisis.

8:39 PM: Kennedy's plane departed. He had checked in with the FAA tower at Martha's Vineyard Airport in Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts, before take-off.

9:33 PM: The plane, still headed northeast, began descending from its cruising altitude of 5,500 feet.

9:38 PM: The plane while still descending began a slight turn to the right so that it was headed due east, lining itself up with the southern coast of Martha’s Vineyard. John Jr. always did this so he could fly over his late mother’s Red Gate Farm.

9:38 PM and 20 seconds: The plane completed the turn and stopped its descent, leveling off at 2200 feet. But it’s against FAA regulations for a plane to fly below 2,500 feet without first contacting the tower. So in a manner that’s typical of John’s carefulness and following procedures, he brought the plane back up to 2,500 feet.

9:38 PM and 50 seconds: With wings level, the plane was on final approach, with 14 miles to go to the airport. At 200 mph, the plane would land in about 5 minutes.

9:39 PM: John contacted the tower. He said he was 13 miles from the airport and 10 miles from the coast. He reportedly said he was making his final approach. In his final approach message, Kennedy told controllers at the airport that he planned to drop off his wife's sister and then take off again between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. for Hyannis Airport. (This information was provided by Coast Guard Petty Officer Todd Burgun, who said he got it from the FAA.)

9:40 PM and 15 seconds: The plane suddenly dove out of the sky, falling 2,500 feet in 45 seconds, crashing into the water at 200 mph.

10:00 PM: A well-dressed couple with a child who had come to the airport to meet Lauren Bessette grew concerned when the plane did not arrive as expected by 10 PM.

10:05 PM: Adam Budd, an employee at Martha’s Vineyard Airport is approached by the friends of Lauren Bessette, who said she should have arrive at 9:44 PM. Actually, Kennedy Jr.'s on board. He's, uh, they wanna know, uh, where he is, Budd told an unidentified FAA employee at the Bridgeport Automated Flight Service Station. Budd said:

During his conversation with the unidentified FAA employee, Budd asked if the FAA could track an airplane. Budd said he was with airport operations at Martha's Vineyard, then mentioned Kennedy's name and provided two possible aircraft numbers for Kennedy's plane.

The employee questioned Budd repeatedly about who he was and where he was calling from. After Budd gave his name, the FAA employee asked if he was, in fact, with airport operations. He ultimately told Budd, We don't give this information out to people over the phone.

11:00 PM: Senator Edward Kennedy contacted the FAA to let them know the plane was missing. The FAA officials did nothing.

Far-right white supremacist Nicholas Fuentes has reportedly found himself at the center of a doxxing incident, following his incendiary rant in the wake of the US election.

 

The 26-year-old triumphantly declared “your body, my choice” to women after Donald Trump’s victory in the presidential election last week, in an X post that’s since been viewed 91.2 million times and reposted by at least 35,000 people.

 

“Hey bitch, we control your bodies! Guess what? Guys win again. Okay? Men win again,” Fuentes continued in a blatantly misogynistic video spiel.

 

“There will never ever be a female president … It’s over. Glass ceiling? Dude, it’s the ceiling made of f–king bricks. You will never break it. Your stupid face keeps hitting the brick ceiling. We will keep you down forever. You will never control your own bodies.”

His woman-hating rallying cry was largely met with revulsion.

 

That he’s since been doxxed – the publication of a person’s private or identifying information, in Fuentes’ case, the address of his Chicago home – is nothing more than a much-needed helping of karma, some of his critics say.

 

One woman, Jewish activist Marla Rose, claimed in a Facebook post she’d taken it a step further and actually went to “neo-Nazi” Fuentes’ house only for him to allegedly attack her.

“I rang the doorbell, he immediately swung the door open like he was at damn Waco (the Branch Davidians’ compound in Texas), sprayed me with a burning liquid (Pepper spray? Mace?), and pushed me down the stairs onto his sidewalk,” Rose wrote, as seen in screenshots shared online.

 

“I rolled into a protective position because I was anticipating kicks or stomps, he grabbed my phone, ran back inside, bolted the door, and shut the blinds.”

 

The New York Daily News reports it has obtained video that “appears” to confirm the woman’s claims.

Police in Berwyn, Illinois, where the alleged incident took place, said neither party was cooperating in its investigation so no charges have been brought forth at this point, and that they had not been provided with Rose’s video.

 

Fuentes is yet to comment on the incident but did repost a message on X from fellow right-wing activist Tristan Tate, who, along with his brother Andrew Tate, is currently under house arrest in Romania after being charged with rape and human trafficking in 2022.

 

“If a man turned up at a ‘pro-choice’ woman’s house to confront her about her views she could literally shoot him dead and nobody would care,” he wrote.

 

“I’d also totally agree with her and her right to defend her home. Nobody should be turning up at any bodies (sic) house uninvited. Harassment.”

 

For some men, particularly the Gen Z cohort, Trump’s victory and Fuentes’ comments affirm that women will never have, and do not deserve, the right to their own bodily autonomy.

 

“Women threatening sex strikes like LMAO as if you have a say,” Jon Miller, who has more than 100,000 followers, wrote.

 

Or, as self-proclaimed misogynist and king of the manosphere Tate put it: “I saw a woman crossing the road today but I just kept my foot down. Right of way? You no longer have rights … The men are back in charge.”

 

The nonpartisan Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD), which tracks the spread of disinformation and propaganda online, found a spike in blatantly misogynistic statements following the election, according to a report it released on Friday.

“In a national election heavily focused on women and reproductive rights, women in the United States have faced an onslaught of online abuse, harassment, and denigration following Vice President Kamala Harris’s loss,” the report read.

 

“This is more than just a continuation of misogynist trends that ISD documented in both the run-up to this election and in the aftermath of previous cycles including 2020 and 2022.

“As an emboldened group of ‘manosphere’ influencers, extremist ideologues and politicians exploit Donald Trump’s election as a rebuke of both reproductive rights and women’s rights, the impact on women could extend into the next presidential election and beyond.”

The Biden administration has triggered another proxy war for Donald Trump to deal with when he becomes president next month.

 

The U.S. deep state is fighting a proxy war in Syria, which appears to be waged with the intention of further destabilizing the Middle East and stirring up another front in World War III.

 

Syria is collapsing under the weight of another U.S.-sponsored proxy Civil War, with the US, Israel and Sunni jihadists on one side and Russia, Iran, Assad, and Shiite jihadists on the other.

 

Al Nusra (which is comprised of Al-Qaida and ISIS affiliates) is taking over the country with the help of Turkey, a U.S. ally and key member of the NATO military alliance. These rebels have seized the city of Aleppo and many smaller towns and villages.

 

M. Dowling at The Independent Sentinel notes that “Jake Sullivan has said Al-Qaida is on our side in Syria.”

 

Jake Sullivan is Biden’s national security adviser and a key enabler, along with Secretary of State Antony Blinken, of the anti-Russia obsessed deep-state club that shares one thing in common. They all belong to the Trilateral Commission and the Council on Foreign Relations.

 

Dowling notes that Syria’s civil war started in 2011 after an uprising against President Bashar Assad’s rule. The U.S., Russia, Israel and Iran all have a military presence in Syria. Forces opposed to Assad, along with U.S.-backed rebels, control more than a third of the country and now Russia and Iran have launched a counter-offensive. Russia is very upset with Turkey for instigating the coup against Assad, likely with the direct assistance of the CIA.

 

The false narrative being proffered by the US mockingbird media is that a rag-tag coalition of so-called “noble rebels” has somehow organically emerged to save Syria from the dictator Assad. No, what we have here are Sunni jihadists backed by the U.S. and NATO fighting Shia jihadists backed by Russia.

 

As Dowling points out, “All jihadists are bad guys.” They are bad because as soon as they get in power one of the first things they do is start raping the Christian women and executing the Christian men. It happened in Iraq after Saddam Hussein was overthrown and it’s happening now in Syria.

 

Congress funded jihadist rebels in Syria for years. The chief war whores of the military-industrial complex, Senators Lindsey Graham and John McCain, led the way.

 

Graham is now turning on Trump’s pick for Defense Secretary, Pete Hegseth, because he’s afraid the Fox News host might not be fully on board with the U.S. forever wars.

 

Dowling quotes Joe Kent, a former chief warrant officer in the U.S. Army special forces, saying that the U.S. is “in an endless cycle of violence” and a “regime-change war” in Syria that the US has pushed.

 

The world is aflame and the regime in Washington appears to be dowsing it with gasoline in anticipation of handing the chaos over to Donald Trump to deal with as the 47th president.

 

Dowling ends her article with this truth bomb:

 

“We need to be out of Syria. We’re helping no one, certainly not Americans. This is another spear in World War III.”

 

The U.S. is also stirring the pot in the Eastern European country of Georgia, where protesters continue to be out in the streets. The U.S. is complicit in the deaths of more than half a million Ukrainians.

 

I would say we need to be out of every country in the world where there is no direct compelling national interest for America’s national security. Rein in the CIA and limit its actions strictly to intelligence gathering (no more fomenting of revolutions and coups) bring our boys home and return the concept of “defense” to our U.S. Department of Defense.

For over a week, insurgents have been battling Syrian regime forces and their allies in a lightning uprising, taking control of Aleppo and Hama, respectively the country’s second and fourth largest city, and pushing toward Homs, a key crossroads city linking the capital Damascus to Assad’s coastal heartlands.

The assault has registered unexpected advances as it engendered a “domino effect,” according to a Syrian journalist based in Aleppo who spoke to The Times of Israel on condition of anonymity, as contingents loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad retreated one after the other upon hearing of the insurgents’ first achievements.

Pro-government forces backed by intense Russian airstrikes have been trying to halt the insurgents’ advance, but Assad is now in dire straits, as his traditional allies Moscow and Tehran are mired in conflicts of their own, while the Shiite terror group Hezbollah, which assisted him in staving off the civil war and allowed him to maintain his grip on power, has been decimated by the Israel Defense Forces in Lebanon.

This week, The Times of Israel spoke with a rebel commander from the Free Syrian Army, a secular coalition of opposition forces founded by mainly Sunni defectors from the Syrian military at the outbreak of the civil war in 2011.

Its primary goal is to organize resistance against the Assad regime. Over a decade ago, the group positioned itself as a moderate alternative to more extremist factions, advocating for a democratic and secular Syria.

The FSA gained international attention at the outbreak of the civil war by taking control of significant territories in northern Syria, including parts of Aleppo. At the time it was seen as the primary opposition force against Assad. It began receiving arms and aid from Western and Gulf countries, including the US, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, but over time, Turkey became its main backer.

However, as ISIS and other jihadist groups gained prominence, the FSA struggled to maintain relevance and became embroiled in clashes with other rebel factions. In recent years, the FSA has morphed into a loose coalition of various factions with differing ideologies, leading to challenges in maintaining cohesion and a unified command structure.

The commander interviewed by The Times of Israel participated in the recent seizure of Aleppo and his troops are now fighting government forces, Hezbollah and Iran-backed militias in the area, and pushing south.

The rebel leader, in his early 60s, agreed to be interviewed by phone on condition of anonymity and spoke of the objectives of the ongoing campaign, his vision for the future of Syria and relations with Israel, and the role the Jewish state can play, in his view, in support of the rebels.

Data Centers Are Sending Global Electricity Demand Soaring

 

The rapid growth of data centers to support AI is significantly increasing global electricity demand.

This surge in demand threatens to outpace the development of renewable energy sources.

 

International regulations are needed to ensure tech companies use clean energy and minimize their impact on climate goals.

 

The global electricity demand is expected to grow exponentially in the coming decades, largely due to an increased demand from tech companies for new data centers to support the rollout of high-energy-consuming advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI). As governments worldwide introduce new climate policies and pump billions into alternative energy sources and clean tech, these efforts may be quashed by the increased electricity demand from data centers unless greater international regulatory action is taken to ensure that tech companies invest in clean energy sources and do not use fossil fuels for power.

 

The International Energy Agency (IEA) released a report in October entitled “What the data centre and AI boom could mean for the energy sector”. It showed that with investment in new data centers surging over the past two years, particularly in the U.S., the electricity demand is increasing rapidly – a trend that is set to continue.

 

The report states that in the U.S., annual investment in data center construction has doubled in the past two years alone. China and the European Union are also seeing investment in data centers increase rapidly. In 2023, the overall capital investment by tech leaders Google, Microsoft, and Amazon was greater than that of the U.S. oil and gas industry, at approximately 0.5 percent of the U.S. GDP.

 

The tech sector expects to deploy AI technologies more widely in the coming decades as the technology is improved and becomes more ingrained in everyday life. This is just one of several advanced technologies expected to contribute to the rise in demand for power worldwide in the coming decades.

 

Global aggregate electricity demand is set to increase by 6,750 terawatt-hours (TWh) by 2030, per the IEA’s Stated Policies Scenario. This is spurred by several factors including digitalization, economic growth, electric vehicles, air conditioners, and the rising importance of electricity-intensive manufacturing. In large economies such as the U.S., China, and the EU, data centers contribute around 2 to 4 percent of total electricity consumption at present. However, the sector has already surpassed 10 percent of electricity consumption in at least five U.S. states. Meanwhile, in Ireland, it contributes more than 20 percent of all electricity consumption.

Astute observers of history are aware that for every notable event there will usually be at least one, often several, wild conspiracy theories which spring up around it. “The CIA killed Hendrix,” “The Pope had John Lennon murdered,” “Hitler was half werewolf,” “Space aliens replaced Nixon with a clone,” etc, etc. The bigger the event, the more ridiculous and more numerous are the fanciful rantings which circulate in relation to it.

 

So its hardly surprising that the events of Sept 11 2001 have spawned their fair share of these ludicrous fairy tales. And as always, there is—sadly—a small but gullible percentage of the population eager to lap up these tall tales, regardless of facts or rational analysis.

 

One of the wilder stories circulating about Sept 11, and one that has attracted something of a cult following amongst conspiracy buffs is that it was carried out by 19 fanatical Arab hijackers, masterminded by an evil genius named Osama bin Laden, with no apparent motivation other than that they “hate our freedoms.”

 

Never a group of people to be bothered by facts, the perpetrators of this cartoon fantasy have constructed an elaborately woven web of delusions and unsubstantiated hearsay in order to promote this garbage across the internet and the media to the extent that a number of otherwise rational people have actually fallen under its spell.

 

Normally I don’t even bother debunking this kind of junk, but the effect that this paranoid myth is beginning to have requires a little rational analysis, in order to consign it to the same rubbish bin as all such silly conspiracy theories.

 

These crackpots even contend that the extremist Bush regime was caught unawares by the attacks, had no hand in organizing them, and actually would have stopped them if it had been able. Blindly ignoring the stand down of the US air-force, the insider trading on airline stocks—linked to the CIA, the complicit behavior of Bush on the morning of the attacks, the controlled demolition of the WTC, the firing of a missile into the Pentagon and a host of other documented proofs that the Bush regime was behind the attacks, the conspiracy theorists stick doggedly to a silly story about 19 Arab hijackers somehow managing to commandeer 4 planes simultaneously and fly them around US airspace for nearly 2 hours ,crashing them into important buildings, without the US intelligence services having any idea that it was coming, and without the Air Force knowing what to do.

 

The huge difficulties with such a stupid story force them to invent even more preposturous stories to distract from its core silliness, and thus the tale has escalated into a mythic fantasy of truly gargantuan proportions.

"It’s difficult to apply rational analysis to such unmitigated stupidity, but that is the task which I take on in this article. However, it should be noted that one of the curious characteristics of conspiracy theorists is that they effortlessly change their so called evidence in response to each aspect which is debunked. As soon as one delusion is unmasked, they simply invent another to replace it, and deny that the first ever existed.

 

Eventually, when they have turned full circle through this endlessly changing fantasy fog , they then re-invent the original delusion and deny that you ever debunked it, thus beginning the circle once more. This technique is known as “the fruit loop” and saves the conspiracy theorist from ever having to see any of their ideas through to their (ill)logical conclusions.

 

According to the practitioners of the fruit loop, 19 Arabs took over the 4 planes by subduing the passengers and crew through the use of guns,knives,box cutters and gas, and then used electronic guidance systems which they had smuggled on board to fly the planes to their targets.

 

The suspension of disbelief required for this outrageous concoction is only for the hard core conspiracy theorist. For a start, they conveniently skip over the awkward fact that there weren’t any Arabs on the planes. If there were, one must speculate that they somehow got on board without being filmed by any of the security cameras and without being registered on the passenger lists. But the curly question of how they are supposed to have got on board is all too mundane for the exciting world of the conspiracy theorist.

 

With vague mumblings that they must have been using false ID ( but never specifying which IDs they are alleged to have used, or how these were traced to their real identities), they quickly bypass this problem, to relate exciting and sinister tales about how some of the fictitious fiends were actually searched before boarding because they looked suspicious.

 

However, as inevitably happens with any web of lies, this simply paints them into an even more difficult corner. How are they supposed to have got on board with all that stuff if they were searched ? And if they used gas in a confined space, they would have been affected themselves unless they also had masks in their luggage.

 

“Excuse me sir, why do you have a boxcutter, a gun, a container of gas, a gas mask and an electronic guidance unit in your luggage?”

 

“A present for your grandmother? Very well sir, on you get.”

 

“Very strange”, thinks the security officer. “That’s the fourth Arabic man without an Arabic name who just got on board with a knife, gun or boxcutter and gas mask. And why does that security camera keep flicking off every time one these characters shows up? Must be one of those days I guess…”

 

Asking any of these basic questions to a conspiracy theorist is likely to cause a sudden leap to the claim that we know that they were on board because they left a credit card trail for the tickets they had purchased and cars they had rented. So if they used credit cards that identified them, how does that reconcile with the claim that they used false IDs to get on to the plane? But by this time ,the fruit loop is in full swing, as the conspiracy theorist tries to stay one jump ahead of this annoying and awkward rational analysis.They will allege that the hijackers’ passports were found at the crash scenes. “So there!” they exalt triumphantly, their fanatical faces lighting up with that deranged look of one who has just a revelation of questionable sanity.

 

The public's belief in what they are told is so strong, they fail to bother to look for themselves.

In the first half of the program, John B. Wells was joined by author Alex Constantine, detailed his research into the potential assassinations of subversive rock stars. Constantine cited a government intelligence memorandum which advised agents on a variety of methods to disrupt the lives of popular musicians. This document, revealed in 1976, suggested tactics such as destroying marriages, planting disparaging newspaper articles, and fostering rivalries amongst competing artists. "Every one of these guys talked about revolution," Constantine observed about the counterculture musicians of the 1960's, "and the people at the top don't want to hear this." He contended that this message of revolt was so disturbing to the 'powers that be' that they decided to eliminate popular artists who expressed it.

 

Amongst the artists that he suspected were assassinated at the behest of the government were popular musicians like Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, and Mama Cass. Regarding the death of Hendrix, Constantine explained that, despite newspaper reports which blamed a heroin overdose, physicians who treated him reported red wine gushed out of his lungs and that he actually died from drowning. According to Constantine, Marley was "definitely killed by the CIA" via a surreptitious injection of cancer-causing compounds and Cass was felled by the government because of her "encyclopedic knowledge of the Nixon administration." Ultimately, Constantine surmised that the agenda behind this spate of secret assassinations was to "kill off the political musicians and replace them with, basically, disco."
