Firm Says Obama Admin Helped China Steal Their Tech. New Legal Action Seeks To Shut Them Up.

 

A new video series from small tech firm ParkerVision claims that big tech giant Qualcomm stole their patented groundbreaking technology before offshoring it to China — all while allegedly colluding with the Obama administration to get away with it.

 

Part one of the four-part series, called “Against the Giants,” outlines how ParkerVision took Qualcomm to court in 2011, once they believed Qualcomm stole their patented chip. A unanimous jury verdict found Qualcomm guilty, but seven weeks later, the Obama-appointed judge decided to dismiss the entire case, citing “an insufficient evidentiary basis” over the alleged patent infringement. The shocking swing sparked ParkerVision to look further into the matter, allegedly finding collusion with the Obama administration.

 

Outlined as one piece of evidence in the series, ParkerVision says the Obama DOJ and the executive office of the president visited the company’s website and viewed ParkerVision’s litigation against Qualcomm before Obama flew to California to raise money for the DNC at the Qualcomm CEO’s home.

 

ParkerVision and Qualcomm are still enthralled in a legal battle to this day.

 

“Big tech’s betrayal of America — unveiled,” the X account for “Against the Giants” reads. “Inside the untold story of how big tech giant Qualcomm ripped-off one of the most important patented innovations in American history and shipped it off to China with the help from the US government. Did the Obama Admin provide cover?”

 

Since the video series has gained traction online, Qualcomm has filed a motion for “Against the Giants” social media to be shut down, ParkerVision says.

 

“Qualcomm has filed a 28 page motion to the court to shut down our social media on the basis that we are infringing on their ‘Constitutional right to a fair trial,'” an update posted Wednesday reads. “Qualcomm asks for ‘immediate court intervention’ that would result in a court order removing our posts.”

 

“ParkerVision will be responding to the court shortly with our opposition to Qualcomm’s motion,” the account added.

 

“Right now, China is cleaning our clock, because we’ve allowed these companies to steal innovation, take it to China, and now the Chinese are now making their own products from those innovations and we are no longer building our innovation economy like we used to, and those chickens are coming home to roost,” Jeffrey Parker, CEO of ParkerVision, said.

 

“We’re doing this because it’s the right thing to do,” Parker said of the ongoing litigation. “We’re fighting this so you don’t have to. We’re fighting this battle so that small innovators in America still have a future.”

Putin axes Yuri Borisov, head of Russia's space agency

 

Russia has a new space chief.

 

Russian President Vladimir Putin has dismissed Yuri Borisov after 2.5 years in charge of the nation's space agency Roscosmos, The Moscow Times reported today (Feb. 6).

 

His replacement is 39-year-old Dmitry Bakanov, who most recently served as Russia's deputy transport minister and led the state-backed Gonets satellite communications system from 2011 to 2019.

 

Borisov, 68, took Roscosmos' reins from the blustery Dmitry Rogozin in July 2022, five months after Russia invaded Ukraine. Many of Russia's former space partners cut or reduced their ties with the nation in the wake of that ongoing invasion, complicating Russia's launch business and exploration plans.

 

Borisov's relatively brief tenure was marked by turbulence and disappointment, including the August 2023 failure of Luna 25, the first moon mission in modern Russian history. (The most recent moon effort had been Luna 24, launched by the Soviet Union in 1976.)

 

Roscosmos "also faced corruption scandals, the loss of satellites and other spacecraft, as well as a lack of innovation" under Borisov, according to The Moscow Times, which is an independent newspaper based in Amsterdam.

Kash Patel, President Donald Trump’s pick to lead the FBI, holds more than $1 million of stock in a fashion company founded in China. He established a nonprofit that spent big on promotion but little on its mission. Patel entered Trump’s orbit as a congressional staffer of modest means. But the years since have been unquestionably lucrative as Patel parlayed proximity to Trump and a zeal for self-promotion into consulting contracts, corporate board seats and a role as a sought-after MAGA commentator. It all helped swell his net worth to as much as $15 million, according to an Associated Press analysis of his government financial disclosure forms.

 

As Patel awaits Senate confirmation to become the next FBI director, his private-sector work is drawing renewed scrutiny from ethics experts and Democrats who say the interests of his former clients could conflict with those of the law enforcement agency he’s likely to soon lead.

The scope of Patel’s business dealings with foreign entities is hard to fully discern because he in some instances disclosed only minimal information about the nature of his work. But they’re coming into focus at a time the Trump administration’s Justice Department intends to scale back enforcement of laws governing foreign lobbying. And they’re all the more notable because at least one client, the clothing company Shein, was established in China, a country U.S. authorities have described as a national security threat.

A spokeswoman for Patel did not respond to repeated requests for comment.

 

Craig Holman, a lobbyist for the Washington-based government watchdog Public Citizen, said Patel’s business dealings presented problems that need to be explored before he becomes FBI director. “The conflicts of interest seem very obvious to me,” Holman said.

 

From obscurity to prominence

Patel, 44, was not in Trump’s orbit when the Repubican was first elected to the White House. He had toiled as a public defender and Justice Department counterterrorism prosecutor before catching on with the Republican-led House Intelligence Committee during the FBI’s investigation into potential ties between Russia and the 2016 Trump campaign.

 

Deeply skeptical of the origins of that investigation, Patel helped author a document that identified problems with the investigation and faulted the FBI over its surveillance of a former Trump campaign adviser. The memo caught Trump’s attention, paving the way for Patel’s promotion to a series of increasingly high-profile roles in the administration.

 

After Trump’s defeat in 2020, Patel leveraged his connections to the former president to attain considerable wealth.

 

He wrote a book and became a ubiquitous presence in conservative media as one of Trump’s most outspoken loyalists, railing against so-called “government gangsters” while voicing an eagerness to go after Trump’s political enemies in a future administration.

He also launched a nonprofit, the Kash Foundation, that aimed to foster “a healthier relationship between the US federal government and American citizens.” The organization raised nearly $1.3 million in 2023 but spent only $212,821 providing “financial and legal assistance for whistle-blowers, needy families and education” that forms the core of its stated mission, according to its most recent tax returns. The group also sold “Fight With Kash” merchandise that included beanies, scarves, hoodies and playing cards.

 

The group held nearly $850,000 in reserve in 2023 while spending $332,000 on “advertising and promotion,” including $275,475 paid to One and Oh LLC, a company that was founded by the Kash Foundation’s vice president and that Patel also consulted for.

Exit Hate UK chief executive Nigel Bromage said the average age of referrals to his London-based organisation was 15 but they even had one as old as 68.

Mr Bromage, who spent 20 years in the far-right and co-founded the proscribed neo-Nazi group Combat 18, said it was 'often self-referrals or parents referring their children' and 'middle-class white children who feel lost'.

Those whose children were referred say they are often radicalised via memes - viral images that capture and distil ideals into an easily shareable format.

The group had just 11 annual referrals when he founded it in 2016 - but this has since increased to consistently between 100 and 150 per year, he told The Times.

Mr Bromage quit the far-right after growing increasingly uncomfortable with the violent rhetoric being spread by his peers. His activities also cost him his marriage.

He claimed excessive screen time was often linked to radicalisation, with Exit Hate seeing a 300 per cent rise in referrals during the pandemic.

He said: 'Our youngest ever referral has been nine years old but usually they are around 15, with the oldest we have ever had being 68 years old.

'It's often self-referrals or parents referring their children, and its often middle-class white children who feel lost. The majority are young and well-educated.

'They are worried that when they start talking about sex and immigration they will be called sexist or racist, and these far-right groups offer them a safe space to have those conversations.

'They are mainly far right, neo-Nazi and incel extremists that get referred to us and can spend as long as two years going through our deradicalisation programmes.'

Sarah Hardy, a mother who works with Exit Hate on training programmes, said her son John was first radicalised aged 14 with a meme shown by a friend on a phone.

The meme said: 'British soldiers are on the streets because immigrants are taking all the houses. They're just left to die.'

And Ms Hardy told The Times: 'As a mother you go through so many emotions: confusion, fear, grief. It's like losing your child. Physically, he was still there, but the John I knew and loved was gone.'

Social media and messaging platforms have been instrumental in allowing hate to flourish online - and the weapon of choice among its architects is the meme, a cover-all term for viral images that are copied and spread online.

Taking after the anthropological term for cultural ideas that are passed down from generation to generation, internet memes can capture large, complex ideas in a single image - and are easily remixed and shared on among online communities.

But this can extend to far-right ideas, such as white nationalism, toxic ideals of masculinity and women's role in society and racist stereotypes - all made palatable, digestible and easily spread in a matter of seconds.

But many have dark undertones - or have been co-opted and toxified by far-right movements. Pepe the Frog, a cartoon amphibian drawn by artist Matt Furie, was absorbed into hate movements around a decade ago, to Furie's dismay.

And 'wojak' memes - innocuous-looking Microsoft Paint drawings of cartoon faces - are often used to subtly promote these far-right ideals.

Other memes take the form of images with claims written on them in bold text, typically without a source, or use AI to generate racist images - such as a 'British' lion roaring at monkeys, a coded racist metaphor for people of colour.

But they carry currency in internet communities that will often take their claims at face value without question.

Experts say their innocuous appearance may be helping to shift the 'Overton window' - the frame within which certain political ideals are deemed acceptable - so far-right views are seen as acceptable.

This week, the UK's head of counterterrorism Matt Jukes compared the harm caused by social media use to 'cancer' - warning that the radicalisation of young people was forming a greater part of MI5 and counterterror police work.

He has suggested that the UK follow Australia in imposing a social media ban among under-16s - despite critics claiming it would be unenforceable.

He told the Times: 'If I give you a parallel with the harm caused by smoking, by 1950, it was clear that smoking was causing lung cancer and killing people.

'But it took decades for governments to decide to regulate, not even the supply of tobacco more closely, but even just the advertising of tobacco to young people in places where young people could see it.

'So that kind of delay of decades is what we can’t sustain against this challenge.'

And last year, MI5 boss Ken McCallum revealed the agency had reported a three-fold rise in children being investigated for terrorism, with memes typically playing a role in the youngsters' radicalisation.

Speaking at the Counter Terrorism Operations Centre in west London in October, he said: 'Sadly, 13 per cent of all those being investigated by MI5 for involvement in UK terrorism are under 18.

'That's a threefold increase in the last three years. Extreme right-wing terrorism in particular skews heavily towards young people, driven by propaganda that shows a canny understanding of online culture.'

WASHINGTON, D.C. — ICE director Tom Homan issued a stern warning to New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy, vowing that the federal government will take legal action against state and local officials who obstruct immigration enforcement efforts.

 

This comes after Murphy vowed to fight Trump “to the death” on rounding up illegal criminal aliens and days after the governor said he was harboring an illegal alien inside a garage apartment at his Middletown waterfront mansion.

Murphy later attempted to walk that claim back, but said he would like to see the feds try to, “come and get her.”

 

Homan said he is now working closely with the Department of Justice, said he is assessing when actions such as Murphy’s constitutes illegal interference.

 

“Once they impede operations, it becomes an issue,” he stated, emphasizing that such actions could lead to arrests.

 

“We will not tolerate these actions anymore,” he said. “Our job is hazardous for the men and women of ICE, Border Patrol, and other agencies. Interference poses significant risks, not just for our officers but also for the individuals involved.”

He added that figures like Murphy and other state leaders must recognize the seriousness of the situation or face potential prosecution.

Murphy has been vocal about his opposition to stricter immigration policies, supporting sanctuary state policies that limit state and local cooperation with federal authorities. Homan criticized this stance, arguing that it endangers law enforcement officers and weakens immigration enforcement efforts.

 

“Leaders like Phil Murphy set a concerning precedent that could endanger our officers,” he stated. “We must take strong action to hold individuals accountable, and this must change immediately.

 

“This morning, I reviewed the data showing that ICE has arrested nearly 12,000 individuals, mostly criminals posing public safety threats,” he said. “For any mayor or governor who opposes the removal of these threats from our communities, I find that hard to understand.”

 

He further warned that if state officials attempt to shield individuals from federal enforcement, they could face legal repercussions.

“We will proceed with or without their cooperation,” Homan stated. “However, I urge them not to hinder our operations or harbor illegal individuals, as we will pursue prosecution for such actions.”

Homan also pushed back against criticism that ICE targets non-criminal immigrants, emphasizing that enforcement efforts focus on individuals with criminal records who pose risks to public safety.

 

“Our goal is to make communities safer by targeting those with criminal records who are unlawfully present,” he said.

Former Republican National Committee spokesperson Madison Geslotto said it would have been highly difficult to have good optics for Biden, and argued that it is working for Trump because he is upholding his campaign promises.

 

“I think the reason the optics are working so well for President Trump is just because of what Abby said, he made all of these promises, whether you like them or not. This is what he promised to voters on the campaign trail throughout this cycle, he’s doing exactly what he said he’d do and not only is he doing it, he’s doing it at a speed that I don’t think a lot of Republicans expected,” Geslotto said==

 

During his campaign, Trump promised to carry out the largest mass deportation operation of illegal immigrants in U.S. history, reduce the size of the federal government, eliminate diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in the federal government and end birthright citizenship for children born to illegal immigrants.

 

Since Trump took office, ICE agents have carried out mass arrests throughout the U.S. and in sanctuary states, particularly those with heinous criminal records. Agents arrested over 7,400 illegal immigrants as of Saturday, though that number continues to climb.

 

The president signed executive orders on his first day in office to declare a national emergency at the southern border, revoke the birthright citizenship status for children born to illegal immigrants, end the Biden-era catch and release policy and reinstate the Remain in Mexico policy.

 

Footage and images have shown ICE agents and border czar Tom Homan conducting raids in several areas of the U.S., which has led to hundreds of arrests in a single day. One video showed ICE agents arresting a gang member from Haiti with 17 prior convictions in Boston, Massachusetts, along with several other illegal migrants who had been convicted of serious crimes.

You Can’t Hide From the Drone

February 7, 2025

 

Drone pilots and Swat Team members combined forces to locate a suspect last night in South Stafford, Virginia.

 

On February 6th at 8:08 p.m. deputies responded to a disturbance with a weapon on Taylors Hill Way. Deputies learned a 29-year-old resident was intoxicated and had fired several shots inside the home.

 

The suspect was identified as Franco Charles and deputies received conflicting information on whether he was inside the home or had fled on foot. A drone was flown into the residence and the suspect was not located.

The SWAT Team responded and the drone began flying over the area. Deputy C.M. Sterne located the suspect walking on Truslow Road and gave commands to surrender. Instead of stopping, Charles fled into the woods.

 

Drone operators focused on the latest sighting and quickly located the suspect in the woods.

Charles was subsequently taken into custody and charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling and reckless handling of a firearm. He was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.

 

Excellent teamwork to safely take the suspect into custody.

Everyone knows the world is under siege by a deep-seated conspiracy run by the globalist financial elite. The conspiracy began to take control of the U.S. with the creation of the National Security State—including founding of the CIA and NSA—by President Harry Truman right after World War II. When FDR died on April 12, 1945, he took with him his dream of world peace through a balance of power reflected in the make-up of the UN Security Council, consisting of the U.S., Great Britain, France, the Soviet Union, and China. But through Truman’s corrupt actions, it would now become the U.S. against the Soviets and anyone else who could be accused of leftist, communist, or even progressive tendencies. All would be labeled the “Cold War.”

 

The founding of the National Security State coincided with Truman’s recognition of the declared entity of Israel during its takeover and ethnic cleansing of Palestine in 1947-1948. Israel, largely funded by the Rothschilds and U.S. donors and spearheaded by Jewish radicals from Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union, would become the conspiracy’s island in the Middle East.[i]

Doctors Without Borders (MSF) has demanded Israel stop its "disproportionate violence" in the occupied West Bank in a new report investigating attacks on medical facilities.

 

The latest findings by the Swiss-based NGO, based on data collected between October 2023 and October 2024, found that Israeli military incursions into the West Bank had "intensified dramatically" since the start of the war.

 

The report draws its conclusion from 38 interviews and "obstruction patterns" witnessed by MSF teams in the cities of Jenin, Qalqilya, Tubas, and Tulkarm.

 

"MSF teams have witnessed the aftermath of several incursions where military operations target and destroy critical utilities, including water systems and electrical networks - thus creating long-lasting medical and humanitarian impacts on Palestinian communities and obstacles to reaching healthcare facilities or the movement of ambulances," the NGO stated in its findings.

 

According to MSF, the escalation in violent tactics started before the beginning of Israel's war on Gaza in October 2023, with forces attacking civilian areas with air strikes, a practice the group says was not used since the Second Intifada in the early 2000s, and military drones.

Lawmakers push for drone defense at nation's airports

As drones become more affordable and accessible, officials at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport say the risks they pose are increasing.

The airport's head of operations told lawmakers on Thursday that thousands of drones are tracked in the area each year, with many flagged for flying in restricted airspace.

 

In response, U.S. Rep. Troy Nehls (R-Texas) is advocating for law enforcement to use a new counter-drone device, the DeDrone Defender.

The device, which resembles a firearm, disrupts drones using radio waves rather than bullets. Nehls is pushing for the technology to be deployed at airports nationwide, regardless of size.

 

Federal aviation authorities have repeatedly warned of the dangers drones pose to commercial aircraft, particularly near busy airports like DFW.

The push for counter-drone measures comes amid growing concerns over aviation safety and security.

Authorities in Alaska are searching for a commercial passenger plane that went missing in freezing, windy conditions over the Bering Sea, the third major U.S. aviation incident in the past 10 days.

The single-engine plane operated by regional carrier Bering Air had nine passengers and a pilot on board when its position was lost at around 3:20 p.m. local time Thursday, according to the Alaska Department of Public Safety.

The Coast Guard, U.S. Air Force and National Guard were involved in an air and land search for the plane, which was roughly 12 miles offshore when its position was lost, authorities said.

The incident comes just over a week after 67 people were killed in a midair collision between an American Airlines passenger jet and a Black Hawk army helicopter in Washington, D.C. Two days later, seven people died when a medical transport jet crashed in a fiery explosion near a mall in northeast Philadelphia.

The missing plane was traveling from the city of Unalakleet to Nome, across the Norton Sound, an inlet of the Bering Sea on the western coast of Alaska. The flight usually takes less than an hour.

The plane departed Unalakleet, a small fishing village with a population of around 800 people, on schedule at 2:38 p.m. local time, according to flight data. After making its way west across the Norton Sound, the pilot told air-traffic controllers in Anchorage that he intended to enter a holding pattern while they waited for the runway at Nome to be cleared.

The temperature in the Nome area was around 9 degrees at the time with light snow, gusty winds and limited visibility, according to the National Weather Service.

Shortly after that call flight data shows the plane’s altitude drop before its position was lost just offshore.

The Nome Police Department had asked residents with boats to assist the search but later said it had received enough offers of help. The local fire department said weather conditions and visibility in the region were poor and warned residents against forming their own search parties.

Bering Air operates 39 aircraft, all small passenger and cargo planes and helicopters. The Nome-based carrier operates scheduled passenger and cargo flights seven days a week to 32 communities along the northwest coast of Alaska, according to the company website. The company didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.

The National Transportation Safety Board said it was monitoring the situation.

Sparsely-populated Alaska is more dependent on air travel than any other part of the U.S., with 82% of communities accessible only by air, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

Many of the aircraft in the state are smaller, often single engine planes without sophisticated weather or deicing systems, according to a 2021 report by the FAA into Alaskan aviation safety. There is also a lack of aviation infrastructure in the state, which, coupled with challenging terrain and extreme weather, can make flying in Alaska more dangerous than other places, the report said.

Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX, Tesla, and X, has declared that the future of warfare will be defined by artificial intelligence and drones.

In a video released Thursday, Musk emphasized the growing importance of unmanned systems in modern conflict.

Musk thinks the war in Ukraine is very much a drone war right now. He notes that If there’s a major power war, it will be a drone war.

 

Musk urges US to invest heavily in AI-powered drones

In a fireside chat with Brigadier General Shane Reeves, the Military Academy’s Dean of the Academic Board at West Point, Musk continued pushing for the U.S. to spend heavily on drones and build more at home.

He said nations that can develop and use highly advanced drones will be important in future wars.

 

Musk, the billionaire business owner, has gradually emerged as one of the most powerful Americans in the government, primarily due to his friendship with former President Donald Trump.

He gave the West Point cadets his view of the changing nature of warfare. He emphasized that drones are fast, agile, and inexpensive and may be better than big military machines.

 

This has been illustrated by the war in Ukraine, where autonomous aerial vehicles have been used for missile launches, and even as part of complex coordinated attacks, for surveillance, as well as for drone-launched missiles.

Musk’s comments come as the use of drones in conflicts around the world has become increasingly prevalent.

 

The 40-minute conversation, which Musk posted a link to on X late on Thursday, ranged well beyond military technology, but AI and drones in warfare dominated his message.

Their strategic significance in the 21st century is why Musk is calling for the U.S. to increase its investment in these technologies.

Musk expands AI influence to reshape government operations

The Department of Government Efficiency (D.O.G.E) has recently implemented AI tools within federal agencies, including the Department of Education, to analyze spending and recommend where cuts can be made.

This suggests a wider plan by Musk to use the technological advantages of AI not only in the field of defense but also in the formation of government policies and management of resources.

 

While Musk preaches the gospel of AI efficiency, some analysts have a rather skeptical take on the manner and consequences of AI’s implementation in government.

The use of personal and financial information to train AI models without adequate protection leaves much to be desired.

Moreover, specialists are concerned about the risks of AI mistakes that may result in crucial and detrimental decisions, especially in budgeting and people management.

FBI Finally Hands Over Names Of Employees Involved In Jan 6 Cases To DOJ

The FBI complied with President Donald Trump’s Department of Justice (DOJ) and turned over the names of employees who investigated cases relating to Jan. 6, according to an email.The FBI relayed the names with a classified system so employees would not be identified publicly, the email sent by acting Director Brian Driscoll and obtained by FBI whistleblower Garret O’Boyle said.

 

The FBI referred the Daily Caller to the DOJ, which did not get back to the Caller at the time of publication.

 

“I want to be clear that as of now we do not have information indicating the Department of Justice intends to disseminate these lists publicly, and they are fully aware of the risks we believe are inherent in doing so,” Driscoll wrote in the email.

 

The email also advises employees to “mitigate [their] digital footprint” to avoid potential safety risks.

The email was reported by CNN. The outlet previously learned that the FBI initially handed over details of certain employees — but not their names. The FBI provided the DOJ with the ID numbers, job titles and any roles employees had in Jan. 6 investigations, a source told the outlet.

 

“The FBI should’ve handed over the names when they were first asked,”O’Boyle told the Caller. “They knew the request of information was legal, yet they failed to comply. When they did finally comply, they only provided employee identification numbers, and not the names that DOJ requested.”

 

“Now, the FBI ‘leadership’ has finally complied with what originally was a simple, legal request by their governing department,” he added.

 

An email sent from FBI Chicago’s Special Agent in Charge (SAC), according to O’Boyle, told employees the DOJ request for information about “cases and personnel” is lawful. Notably, the FBI is a component within the DOJ.

 

While the FBI adhered to the DOJ’s latest request,Driscoll has not always complied with their orders.

 

He refused to adhere to a DOJ directive ordering that he aid in the dismissal of agents involved in Jan. 6 cases, several current and former FBI officials told NBC News. However, according to Driscoll, he complied with an order to dismiss eight senior officials.

 

Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove stated in a Wednesday memo that FBI employees who acted ethically would not be terminated.

 

“Let me be clear:No FBI employee who simply followed orders and carried out their duties in an ethical manner with respect to January 6 investigations is at risk of termination or other penalties,” the email obtained by CNN said.

Bove slammed employees who engaged in weaponization and “acted with corrupt or partisan intent” in the memo.

 

Trump has made it a priority to end government weaponization, and he signed a day one executive order targeting politicization of the DOJ and the intelligence community.

 

The Senate Judiciary Committee delayed the vote on Trump’s nominee for FBI director, Kash Patel, Thursday. Democrats and chair of the committee, Republican Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley, agreed to delay the vote for a week.

Republican Louisiana Sen. John Kennedy noted during the committee’s meeting that many of the Jan. 6 defendants have been overcharged, according to the U.S. Supreme Court.

 

“I do not see anything wrong with the Department of Justice under new leadership finding out, or trying to find out, why that happened,” Sen. Kennedy stated.

The Nome Fire department, National Guard and Coast Guard are currently responding to reports of a missing Bering Air caravan. According to reports the plane was 12 miles offshore transiting from Unalakleet to Nome when its position was lost, according to the USCG. The Nome Volunteer fire department released a statement saying:

 

" We do not have any updated information on the location of the missing aircraft. Crews are still searching on the ground, canvassing as much area as possible. The National Guard C-130 reported they found nothing found so far. The Airforce also sent a C-130 resumed the search and also have reported no visuals, and have one hour of flight search time remaining. If nothing further is reported, the next update will be at 9am."

Closing UAP Information Gaps to Advance National Security: Some Suggestions for Congress and the New Administration

The U.S. government has made significant strides in addressing the longstanding enigma of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) in recent years.

Congress’s establishment of the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) and its demand for annual unclassified reports on the subject were crucial steps toward transparency and accountability.

 

However, there are still major air and space surveillance information stovepipes that bypass AARO and Congress, preventing these organizations from fully understanding what is occurring and how best to respond.

Here, I will describe the problem and provide pragmatic options for enhancing Congressional oversight, strengthening public trust, and advancing our understanding of these phenomena.

 

Tactical Reporting, Strategic Silence

Since Congress established AARO in 2022, over 1,200 official new UAP reports have been submitted to AARO.

This represents great progress, but the frequency of these “tactical” reports makes it hard to understand the near-total absence of UAP reporting from the massive radar and space surveillance systems operated by the U.S. military and Intelligence Community.

The examples below should help Congress and the public better appreciate the disconnect between tactical UAP reporting, primarily from military personnel aboard ships and aircraft, and what appears to be an embargo on UAP reporting to AARO and Congress from America’s massive aerospace monitoring systems.

 

As I have described elsewhere, a few examples include the Space Fence, NORAD’s Solid-State Phased Array Radars (SSPAR), the Global Electro-Optical Deep Space Surveillance System (GEODSS), the Space-Based Infrared Monitoring System (SBIRS), the Global Infrasound Monitoring System, and the Navy’s Integrated Undersea Surveillance System (IUSS), among others.

The 2024 AARO report acknowledges that “During the reporting period, AARO did not receive any UAP reports collected through national GEOINT, SIGINT, or MASINT platforms.”

It is not that we should expect routine UAP detection from all these systems; still, the total absence of reporting from national systems, while tactical radars and other sensors routinely detect and report UAP, raises serious questions about support for AARO and compliance with Congressional UAP reporting requirements.

 

What is the basis for thinking UAP-related information from these systems is not being shared with AARO or Congress?

As I have described elsewhere, a few examples include the Space Fence, NORAD’s Solid-State Phased Array Radars (SSPAR), the Global Electro-Optical Deep Space Surveillance System (GEODSS), the Space-Based Infrared Monitoring System (SBIRS), the Global Infrasound Monitoring System, and the Navy’s Integrated Undersea Surveillance System (IUSS), among others.

For example, on October 25, 2018, two F-15s based in Portland, Oregon, were scrambled in an attempt to intercept a fast, high-flying unidentified object that had penetrated U.S. airspace from the Pacific.

I checked with AARO and confirmed that the Air Force failed to submit a report about this incident.

Another case involving an even more anomalous object came to light in November 2023 when someone in the Air Force made a “protected disclosure” to their local Representative, former Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL).

This intriguing case involved an Air Force fighter intercept of one of 4 objects detected hovering in a diamond-shaped formation off the coast of Florida near Eglin Air Force Base.

 

The UAP reportedly interfered with the fighter’s onboard sensor systems, a pattern observed on numerous other occasions, including the famous Nimitz incident.

The object also had a bizarre, bulky configuration, reminding the pilot of a lunar lander. Both cases came to light by chance; the first was due to an alert reporter who learned from FAA sources of the incident over Oregon, and the latter was due to a rare “protected disclosure.”

The FBI is requesting a list of all its personnel involved in helping the Justice Department prosecute Jan. 6 cases.

 

The notice sent within the bureau Friday asked for the names of all agents and supervisors across the country involved in investigating and helping to prosecute people who breached the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

 

The Domestic Threat Operations Center is requesting the names from all the field offices. The FBI declined to comment.

 

Reaction at the bureau is panic, because a wave of terminations at the agency occurred on Thursday. FBI personnel are not sure about the extent of the order, and whether it applies to every FBI employee who ever came across a Jan. 6 case in some way, according to agency sources.

 

The request for the list came one day after FBI employees were terminated or forced to quit within hours of FBI director nominee Kash Patel’s testimony at his confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

 

Sources say FBI Acting Director Brian Driscoll, a veteran agent whom President Trump appointed to lead the agency until Mr. Patel is confirmed and sworn in, did not approve of the planned mass terminations.

 

Mr. Driscoll sent out a bureau-wide memo to FBI employees Friday night informing them that acting Deputy Attorney General, Emil Bove, had asked for a list of all FBI employees who worked on January 6 cases for “a review process to determine whether any additional personnel actions are necessary.”

 

At least 20 FBI executive assistant directors, assistant directors and special agents in charge from throughout the U.S. were forced out of the agency on Thursday, according to sources. Field offices where top officials lost their posts included Miami, New Orleans, Las Vegas and Washington, D.C.

 

The Times also learned that squads of FBI agents were walked out from field offices located in New York, Washington, D.C., and Miami. Agents who were walked out of the Miami office were involved in the Mar-a-Lago classified documents case.

 

The memo directed Mr. Driscoll to provide this information to Mr. Bove’s office by noon on Tuesday.

 

The FBI Agents Association called the planned terminations “outrageous.”

“If true, these outrageous actions by acting officials are fundamentally at odds with the law enforcement objectives outlined by President Trump and his support for FBI Agents,” the association said in a statement.

Galileo Project Ramps Up Scientific Search for UAP Evidence

The project is focused on creating an advanced ground-based observatory that continuously monitors the sky using a multi-modal, multi-spectral approach.

By running a long-term aerial survey, researchers aim to collect extensive data on UAP, helping to build a clearer understanding of these phenomena.

 

Concerns over the lack of high-quality UAP data have been echoed by US federal agencies, including the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).

ODNI's annual reports have repeatedly called for better data collection, while a 2023 NASA study emphasized the need for precision-calibrated sensors and AI-driven detection methods.

 

The Galileo Project is addressing these concerns by deploying multiple sensor types over extended periods, allowing researchers to track seasonal variations and long-term trends—an approach that sets it apart from previous studies.

At its Massachusetts observatory, the Galileo Project has assembled a sophisticated array of instruments.

The focal point is an all-sky infrared camera system featuring eight uncooled long-wave infrared FLIR Boson 640 cameras.

These cameras use both intrinsic and extrinsic calibration techniques, incorporating real-time Automatic Dependent Surveillance–Broadcast (ADS-B) data to improve tracking accuracy.

 

To analyze aerial activity, the project relies on state-of-the-art computer vision technology.

A machine learning model called You Only Look Once (YOLO) identifies objects, while the Simple Online and Realtime Tracking (SORT) algorithm reconstructs trajectories.

Over five months, the system recorded approximately 500,000 aerial trajectories, with detection efficiency influenced by weather conditions, detection range, and aircraft size.

 

Researchers are using an outlier detection approach to flag unusual trajectories. So far, about 16 % of the data has been identified as potential anomalies, triggering manual review for further analysis.

Initial findings from the Galileo Project indicate a 41 % detection acceptance rate for ADS-B-equipped aircraft, with a frame-by-frame detection efficiency of 36 %.

The system's overall aircraft reconstruction rate stands at 13.4 %, forming a foundation for future refinements in tracking and detection technology.

 

Among the 80,000 flagged outliers, 144 trajectories remain ambiguous.

While most likely represent ordinary objects, the lack of detailed data—such as precise distance and kinematics—hinders further classification.

Moving forward, the project will focus on validating its findings and improving classification methods.

 

Beyond detection, the Galileo Project aims to statistically analyze UAP patterns over time and across various regions.

Plans are in place to expand the observatory network, enhance data collection, and reinforce the scientific rigor of UAP research.

 

Positioned at the forefront of UAP research, the Galileo Project is leveraging advanced sensor technology and AI-driven data analysis to address longstanding knowledge gaps.

By refining detection methods and expanding its observational reach, the project is setting a new standard for aerospace anomaly research.

As investigations continue, the findings could reshape our understanding of aerial phenomena, challenge existing theories, and inspire deeper discussions within the aerospace community.

Opponents of President Donald Trump are suffering severe health issues after his November victory, according to Glenn Burnett, an internal doctor from Wyoming.

 

Burnett said he advises his patients to turn off computers and televisions to restore their mental health.

 

Burnett, who spoke with journalist Mark Halprin Thursday night,disclosed many of his Democrat patients are experiencing a number of severe mental health issues due to former Vice President Kamala Harris being defeated.

 

“We are dealing with depression, anxiety, all kinds of medical problems that are related to that, like insomnia, chest pain, chest pressure,” he told Halprin. “And then people are that there’s some genuine fear, panic.”

 

“I think it has a lot to do with Donald Trump and the fears of what he’s going to do or what’s happening in the country,” he said.

 

“When Biden was the president,” he said, “I had all kinds of stuff from the other side, but it has been extremely intense … after the election.”

 

In October,Halprin predicted the loser of the 2024 election might “cause of the greatest mental health crisis in the history of the country,” telling Tucker Carlson:

 

I think tens of millions of people will question their connection to the nation, their connection to other human beings, their connection to their vision of what their future for them and their children could be like. And I think that it will require an enormous amount of access to mental health professionals.I think it’ll lead to trauma in the workplace, … I think there’ll be alcoholism. There’ll be broken marriages.

 

Burnett said to help his patients, he advises a detox from political news.

 

“The first thing I tell them to do is to turn their computers off and turn their televisions off,” he said. “The next thing I tell them to do is, if you have had an issue with your family and a lot of them have that, that is so much more important than Kamala Harris or Donald Trump,” he said, “and you need to begin to make amends.”

 

“I am really hesitant to give people medication for this because I think it’s a grief problem, mainly.

President Trump mocked Time magazine on Friday, saying he didn’t even know it was still in business, after the publication used an image of Elon Musk sitting at the Resolute Desk on its cover.

 

A reporter asked Trump for his reaction to the Time cover, which features Musk sitting in the president’s chair. The cover story headlined, "Inside Elon Musk’s War on Washington," comes as critics of President Trump have suggested Musk has too much power as he’s tasked with leading Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

 

"Is Time magazine still in business? I didn't even know that," Trump said as laughter could be heard in the room.

 

"Elon is doing a great job. He's finding tremendous fraud and corruption and waste. You see it with the USAID, but you're going to see it even more so with other agencies and other parts of government. He's got a staff that's fantastic," Trump added. "He's wanted to be able to do this for a long time."

 

Musk has gone after the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) when cracking down on government spending. Trump said he is pleased with the progress and said other government agencies will also be impacted by DOGE.

 

"The whole thing is a fraud. Very little being put to good use. Every single line that I look at, in terms of events and transactions, is either corrupt or ridiculous and we're going to be doing that throughout government, and I think we're going to be very close to balancing budgets for the first time in many years," Trump said.

 

"He's doing a very good job," Trump continued. "I'm very happy with it."

 

Trump was named Time magazine's Person of the Year for 2024. Last month, the magazine’s cover featured Trump wiping former President Biden’s items off the Oval Office the Resolute Desk with the headline, "He’s Back."

Finland has been calling on its population to prepare for a military confrontation, according Russia’s envoy

 

The Finnish authorities have been churning up an atmosphere of “war psychosis” and urging people to prepare for a possible war with Russia, according to Moscow’s ambassador to the EU country, Pavel Kuznetsov.

 

In an interview with RIA Novosti published on Thursday,Kuznetsov said that Finland’s leadership is instilling fear in the population using claims of “Russia’s aggressive plans.”

 

Helsinki is promoting various initiatives to strengthen military preparedness among civilians, the envoy said.

 

“There is increased media coverage of bomb shelter renovations, the expansion of shooting club networks, and the extension of the maximum age for reservists,” Kuznetsov observed, adding that such measures are being “widely promoted.”

 

According to the ambassador, such actions are part of the Finnish government’s attempt to justify the country’s “hasty” NATO accession and increased defense spending.

 

Finland, which shares an almost 1,300-kilometer-long border with Russia, officially joined the US-led military bloc in April 2023 following the escalation of the Ukraine conflict. The Finnish government has since strengthened its defense policies, including expanding military training and civil preparedness programs.

 

Multiple outlets have reported a sharp rise in interest among Finns in weapons training. Shooting ranges have seen membership soar, and the government has announced plans to open more than 300 new shooting facilities to encourage the trend.

 

In November 2024, Finland issued guidance on how to prepare for an armed conflict, emphasizing the importance of readiness in the face of potential threats.Several other Nordic countries have also published information advising their populations on how to prepare for a possible war or other unexpected crises.

 

Sweden has sent out millions of updated booklets entitled “In case of crisis or war,” while Norway has issued pamphlets urging people to be prepared to survive on their own for a week in the event of extreme weather, war, or other threats.

 

Denmark’s emergency management agency has informed the public how much water, food, and medicine individuals need to get through a crisis lasting three days. In December, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen told a local broadcaster that she has been stocking canned food and other essentials in case of a Russian attack.

 

NATO has long declared Russia to be a direct threat, and Western officials have repeatedly claimed that if Moscow wins the Ukraine conflict, it could attack other European countries.

 

Russian President Vladimir Putin has dismissed any possibility of a military advance against NATO as “nonsense.”

 

Putin told US journalist Tucker Carlson last February that the bloc’s leaders are trying to scare their people with an imaginary threat from Moscow, but that “smart people understand perfectly well that this is a fake.”

At the same time, Russia has repeatedly warned against what it describes as NATO’s unprecedented military activity near its western borders in recent years.

ICC (that’s Corrupt as Hell) reacts to Trump’s sanctions

The statement comes after the US president imposed punitive measures on the court for going after Israel’s PM and ex-defense chief

 

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has said it will continue to operate despite being sanctioned by US President Donald Trump.

 

The Hague-based ICC was established through the 2002 Rome Statute, to which 125 countries are parties.The US, Israel, Russia, China, India and others do not recognize the court’s jurisdiction.

 

In a statement on Friday, theICC said it “condemns the issuance by the US of an Executive Order seeking to impose sanctions on its officials.” The entity stressed that it “stands firmly by its personnel and pledges to continue providing justice and hope to millions of innocent victims of atrocities across the world.”

 

That same day, 79 nations, including Brazil, France, Germany, South Africa and Spain issued a joint statement, expressing “regret” at “attempts to undermine the court’s independence, integrity and impartiality.” The signatories reaffirmed their “continued and unwavering support” for the ICC. (They are not and never were independent.)

 

President Trump signed the executive order imposing sanctions on the ICC on Thursday.The document states that the court has “set a dangerous precedent”by targeting US nationals as well as senior Israeli officials.(They also did this to Putin.)

 

The entity “abused its power by issuing baseless arrest warrants targeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Former Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant,” the order clarified, referring to the ICC’s decision in November. The international body accuses the two of using starvation as a method of warfare in Gaza. (But they say nothing of Ukraine soldiers and leaders killing Ethnic Russians that live in Ukraine all their lives.)

 

Trump believes that the ICC’s actions undermine the “critical national security and foreign policy work of the United States government and our allies, including Israel.”

 

The executive orderenvisages financial and visa-related sanctions on individuals and the immediate family members of those who support ICC investigations into citizens of the US or its allies.

 

The Guardian, citing sources within the organization, reported last month thatWashington’s measures could affect the ICC’s access to banking systems, IT infrastructure, and insurance providers, posing an “existential threat” to its operations.

 

The US previously slapped sanctions on then-ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda after the court attempted to investigate alleged American war crimes in Afghanistan in 2020.
