A 24-year-old Venezuelan man residing unlawfully in Perrysburg, Ohio, who was enrolled as a student at a local high school, has been sentenced to two years in federal prison for lying on immigration forms and on applications to purchase a firearm.

 

The subject is also subject to a detainer from the United States Border Patrol and will be taken into administrative immigration custody following the completion of his sentence.

 

The investigation was conducted by the FBI Toledo Resident Agency, along with U.S. Customs and Border Protection−Sandusky Bay Station, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the City of Perrysburg Police Department, and assistance from the Wood County Prosecutor’s Office.

Netanyahu: IDF soldiers paid with their lives due to US arms embargo

Jan. 28, 2026 / JNS)

 

Israel Defense Forces soldiers paid with their lives because of a weapons embargo that ended when U.S. President Donald Trump returned to the White House, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday.

“I have one more thing to tell you, you can get a translation,” Netanyahu said, speaking at the end of a Hebrew-language press briefing that focused on the return of the remains of Master Sgt. Ran Gvili, the last captive taken during the Hamas-led Oct. 7, 2023.

“I said we paid very heavy prices in the war—the fallen and wounded, truly heavy costs. Part of this is what happens during war,” the prime minister continued.

Netanyahu noted that Gaza was full of booby-trapped buildings.

 

After the IDF called on the civilian population to evacuate the combat zone, the military initially used artillery and airstrikes to eliminate terrorists who remained in structures rigged with explosives, the premier said.

However, “at a certain stage, we reached a stage where we did not have enough ammunition, and people fell—heroes fell,” he said.

Without explicitly naming the previous U.S. administration, he said that the shortage was in part caused by “the embargo.”

“This embargo situation changed beyond recognition with the entry of President Trump’s administration,” he added.

 

The Israeli premier said he was working on developing a strong domestic army industry “for maximal independence … so we don’t run out of weapons or ammunition.”

Biden suspended the delivery of 2,000-pound bombs to the IDF in May 2024 to discourage a ground offensive in Gaza’s southernmost city of Rafah, where Hamas terrorists had embedded itself among civilians.

“Civilians have been killed in Gaza as a consequence of those [2,000-pound] bombs and other ways in which they go after population centers,” the Democratic president told CNN at the time.

Pro-Israel U.S. politicians revealed that the White House had held up far more arms shipments, slow-walking deliveries via bureaucratic means.

 

Trump lifted all restrictions within a week after returning to office.

“We released them today,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One on Jan. 25, 2025. When asked why, he said: “Because they bought them.”

Netanyahu at the time thanked the president for keeping his promise of giving the Jewish state “the tools it needs to defend itself, to confront our common enemies and to secure a future of peace and prosperity.”

 

Amos Hochstein, a top adviser to Biden during his presidency, on Tuesday claimed that Netanyahu was being “ungrateful” to the former president.

“Netanyahu is both not telling the truth and ungrateful to a president that literally saved Israel at its most vulnerable moment,” the former official told Axios.

In a separate post on X, Hochstein charged that after $20 billion in U.S. military support to Israel, the deployment of two aircraft carriers to the region and efforts to help repel Iranian missile and drone attacks, the “only acceptable response” to Biden and America was “thank you.”

 

During the two-and-a-half-year-long War of Redemption that started after the Oct. 7 massacre, 924 IDF soldiers “fell in battle and fought with bravery in order to achieve the war’s goals and the moral duty to return the hostages,” according to a military statement on Monday evening.

Years after the tragedy, former NASA staffer Clark McClelland claimed his late colleague, Onizuka, once told him a startling story about aliens while preparing for a mission.

McClelland, who worked as an operator in the Space Shuttle program, recounted Onizuka's claims in an article titled "Alien Disclosure from an Astronaut."

 

Onizuka's tale began with the now-famous 1947 UFO encounter in Roswell, New Mexico.

The U.S. military had jolted the world that year by saying it had found the remains of a UFO that crash-landed in the New Mexico desert. But the next day, the government flipped its stance and claimed the object was actually a giant balloon.

In the decades since the infamous crash, witnesses and researchers have come forward with tales of how aliens really were found at the site – and claims of the debris being tightly guarded at Area 51 Air Force base.

 

The ex-NASA operator's account alleges Onizuka opened up about what he witnessed after first asking McClelland about his views on intelligent extraterrestrial life.

McClelland recalled his late co-worker having "a surprising experience along with other U.S. Air Force aerospace flight engineers and pilots while on military training duty" several years before his astronaut training.

"He and this group were at this base for specialized training when they were directed to report to a viewing room," McClelland recalled Onizuka's story.

"As they were seated, the room darkened, and a movie began without the usual official introduction by a USAF officer."

 

Onizuka's colleague said he was told the film shocked the audience with scenes of "what appeared to be some sort of medical examination room with small bodies lying on some sort of table or slab."

"The small, strange-looking creatures were humanoid in shape and appeared similar to those described by alleged witnesses at the well-known Roswell site," he explained.

"They all had large heads, large eyes, slight torsos, arms, and legs. They did not appear to be of earthly origin."

 

McClelland noted Onizuka saying the video "may have been a test" by the Air Force on the servicemen "to see how they reacted."

He recalled the late astronaut wondering, "Perhaps it was a planned USAF psychological test. NASA may have evaluated it in my selection as an astronaut in 1978. You know, what would my reaction be if I actually saw an alien?"

Onizuka said after the video played, the group was returned to their tasks and were not allowed to discuss what they saw.

Sadly, McClelland said he and Onizuka had plans to meet and discuss the video further, but never got the chance because of the 1986 disaster.

As a Generation X'er, here's some unsolicited advice for the younger generations. Want to buy a house? Stop saying it's impossible for your generation.

 

There have always been lazy people who complain that houses cost too much. People say the Greatest generation bought their homes for $12,000 after fighting 4 years in WWII. Their children, the Baby Boom generation bought homes for $75,000. Well, their children, Generation X'ers bought their homes for $200,000 by EARNING and WORKING for $3.35 and hour. Let that sink in! THREE DOLLARS and THIRTY FIVE CENTS an hour. Gen X earned $21.44 AFTER TAXES per day for a full 8 hours work plus 1 hour lunch. 9 hours at work plus commute for $21. That's $107.20 per week and $428.80 per month and $5,145.60 per year. Gen X NEVER ate out, never spent a dime on anything. Lived at home working from ages 16 to 28 years old, buying a $200,000 home with $20,000 down. They invested every penny in secure stocks others invested in more risky stocks, so that the money they earned, earned money. Gen X had the same lazy, bitter and slack-jawed idiots that would always talk about how it was impossible to buy a home and when their Gen X friends bought their first homes, their lazy friends looked at them like they were insane, saying "ha ha, now you're STUCK in that location and can never move anywhere else until you're free of this house." Then as years went on, the lazy people had kids, who they raised to be bitter, believing that they can't buy a home either. All this talk about not being able to buy a house is coming from the same losers that have been in every generation. I still work minimum wage jobs, and it's a blessing how much they pay now! $16.50 an hour is $105.60 AFTER TAXES. Investing wisely and saving every penny gets you into a house. In my minimum wage jobs, 90% of the employees in their early 20's are all buying a coffee in the morning, buying snacks and a drink from the liquor store during their break, buying fast food for lunch, buying another snack for their second break and then buying fast food for dinner, INSANELY STUPID. I tried to help a couple youngsters with advice but no one asked any of the older people for advice, they thought WE were losers working at this job at our age, not realizing we have homes and the money from this job was all extra, all gravy. These "kids" are woking jobs they hate just to spend it all on snacks, crap, drinks, fast food, rent, leasing a new car, the best weed and partying. That's the poor mindset. When I was a kid, I asked EVERY ADULT I would encounter for advice on saving and on life in general. Talking to the butcher at the market, the repair men, and EVERY GRANDPARENT of every friend I'd meet. Not because I wanted to be rich, but because I knew there was something interesting about them that I could learn and many gave great advice on investing. Generation X LOVES the Baby Boom generation because they were so kind in answering all of our questions for advice. This younger generation has constant contempt for the Baby Boom generation because they never asked them questions for advice and never got to know them from a place of respect. This young generation walks around with a SMUG expression thinking that everybody's an idiot except them because they’re “so good” with COMPUTERS. My generation made the mistake by trying to build these younger generation’s self-esteem by saying "You're SO good with computers, I could never do that." Instead of building a little self-esteem, it created CONTEMPT in their hearts for my generation and an inflated sense of ability. STOP COMPLAINING about how much stuff costs, and smarten up! Work 2 jobs and SACRIFICE for 10-15 years starting at age 16 or 18 all the way to age 30. Then, at 30, you’ll hear everybody complaining while you’ll be grateful and in a good position to buy a home. And you'll always APPRECIATE everything you earn rather than build a growing resentment for your boss. You'll be grateful for your boss. Young people who don't RESPECT their ELDERS are the worst people on earth and they have a horrible, rude awakening coming as they realize that they've made stupid decisions throughout their lives and no one will want to help them because people can sense their lack of respect. Smarten up, work hard, ask questions and get grateful!

LA Fires: Trump Issues Order to Override California Permitting and Rebuilding in Wildfire Damaged Areas

 

President Donald Trump signed an executive order this week directing federal agencies to override California and local permitting rules to accelerate rebuilding Pacific Palisades and Eaton Canyon wildfires that began on January 7, 2025. Gov. Gavin Newsom and other Los Angeles County leaders criticized the move. Newsom declared the area an emergency zone last year and had full control over it, but there have been continual delays in permitting.

Wildfires destroyed an estimated 16,000 structures, but Los Angeles city and county officials have only issued 2,600 permits to rebuild so far. In all, less than 15% of all homes destroyed by the fires have received necessary approvals to move forward. Trump’s order is designed to “preempt” the building permit process — and empower the federal government to maneuver around the needless obstacles imposed by Democratic leaders.

 

For years, the fire department said to cut the brush around the power lines, but the warnings were ignored, and the power lines should have been turned off during the high winds. The reservoir that was built just for fires in the area was drained – authorities said that it was filled, but drone video shows it is empty. There are many other instances of fraud, intentional neglect and incompetence that we have reported on over the past year and can be accessed in the archives.

At approximately 1732Z on 2025-01-27, while cruising at 36,000 ft northwest of Sitka after passing BKA VOR and proceeding direct LAIRE, the pilot observed through the R1 window what initially appeared to be oncoming traffic not on TCAS. A

 

s it came abeam, the object was seen ~1,000 ft below and ~0.5 NM to the right.

 

It was described as a saucer-shaped craft ~60–70 ft long with a long, telescopic/segmented vertical structure fixed underneath, estimated ~20 ft in length.

 

The surface was very reflective, aluminum-metallic, with no visible lights. Relative motion appeared slow or stationary compared to a normal crossing airplane. Size was judged as about half a Boeing 737.

 

Total on-scene observation was 5–7 seconds. No emissions, interaction with surroundings, or electromagnetic effects were noted.

RIPLEY, W.Va. (WOWK) — A Ripley woman was arrested following an investigation into “a social media recruitment of individuals to pursue and assassinate President Trump,” a Sunday Facebook post from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said.

 

Sheriff Ross Mellinger said in the post that Morgan L. Morrow, 39, of Ripley, was arrested and transported to South Central Regional Jail as part of the investigation by the Sheriff’s Office and the Jackson County Bureau of Investigations.

 

According to the criminal complaint, Morrow is charged with one count of threats of terroristic acts.

 

The criminal complaint filed in Jackson County Magistrate Court says that on Jan. 25, 2026, deputies learned of an alleged threat of violence “directed toward an unknown individual, which was believed to be a public official.”

 

“When you saddle up on the horse of stupidity, you have to be prepared for the ride that follows,” Mellinger said. “We’re just trying to do our part in making sure that it’s not acted upon, and there’s no one that’s following her footsteps to try to carry out the plan.”

According to the complaint, deputies said they learned that the reported threat had originated from a public TikTok account allegedly belonging to Morrow, who was a librarian at the Jackson County Public Library.

 

The complaint goes on to say that the TikTok post included the sentence “Surely a sn!per [sniper] with a terminal illness can’t be a big ask out of 343 million.” According to the complaint, authorities reviewed the content, context, and wording of the post, and interpreted the statement to be a message to encourage and advocate for the assassination of U.S. President Donald Trump.

 

According to the complaint, Jackson County deputies, the Jackson County Bureau of Investigations and the Ravenswood Police Department responded to Morrow’s home, where she was detained and taken to the sheriff’s department for further investigation.

 

The complaint states that after Morrow was read her Miranda rights, she allegedly admitted in an interview with police that she had written and posted the statement on TikTok and claimed it was “intended as a threat directed toward President Donald J. Trump.” The complaint then says Morrow told authorities her “personal reasons for wishing harm upon the President,” but the complaint did not disclose those reasons.

 

In the complaint, deputies say that while Morrow allegedly claimed she had no intention to personally carry out a threat, statements such as the one made on TikTok are “designed to encourage, inspire or entice others to carry out the threatened act, regardless of whether the speaker publicly intends to personally do so.”

 

Mellinger told 13 News that this type of behavior cannot be tolerated, regardless of political affiliation.

 

“It’s okay to be critical of the government. It’s okay to be critical of things you don’t agree with, Mellinger said, “but when you start promoting the violence and you’re promoting a plan to carry out the violence and recruiting other people to carry out the plan for you, that’s clearly crossing the line.”

 

Mellinger said on Sunday in his Facebook post that Morrow’s arrest is not a political statement, as making threatening statements about any public official is illegal according to West Virginia State code.

 

“This is not meant to be a political – oriented statement. This is an active criminal investigation with documented and troubling concerns,” Sheriff Mellinger said.

 

Following the announcement of Morrow’s arrest, the Jackson County Public Library released a statement on social media saying that they were addressing the matter internally.

 

“The comments recently made by an employee do not reflect the mission, values, or standards of conduct of our organization. We take our responsibilities to the public and our supporters seriously and are committed to professionalism, respect, and integrity in all that we do.

The views expressed are made in an individual capacity and do not represent the position of the organization. We are addressing the matter internally in accordance to our established policies and procedures.

I'm sorry to say this but our POTUS has let a can of worms get opened in MSP and now this country is going to see what is happening there, spread like a virus to other sanctuary cities and states.

Well here's your problem. A few days before Pretti went to hell, he damaged an ICE vehicle, was wrestling with agents afterwards, and then was let go.
