So, it turns out that not only did Rod Rosenstein want to overthrow the sitting President of the United States using the 25th Amendment, but so did Steve Bannon.

 

In September 2018, The New York Times reported that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein suggested secretly recording President Trump and discussed recruiting Cabinet members to invoke the 25th Amendment to overthrow him from office.

However, this has been criticised for allowing some victims to remain identifiable while shielding potential perpetrators.

 

-Data Set 11: Contains financial ledgers, flight manifests to Epstein’s island in the US Virgin Islands, and property seizure records.

 

-Data Set 12: Contains late productions and supplemental items of approximately 150 documents that require more detailed legal review.

A spokesman for Bannon confirmed that his interactions with Epstein were an attempt to ingratiate himself with him for the documentary.

Anderson Cooper is leaving 60 Minutes after turning down an offer from CBS News to renew his contract, reported Breaker’s Lachlan Cartwright on Monday.

 

Cooper, who also anchors his AC360 show weeknights on CNN and is a correspondent for the cable news network, has been a correspondent with 60 Minutes for nearly two decades. His reports for 60 Minutes have been nominated for multiple Emmys, winning four.

 

He was reportedly on CBS News editor-in-chief Bari Weiss’ short list for the next anchor to helm CBS Evening News, but now, according to Cartwright,Cooper has not only rebuffed Weiss’ efforts to recruit him to the evening anchor desk, he’s walking away from his role on 60 Minutes.

 

Citing sources “familiar with the matter,” Cartwright reported that Cooper had been offered a contract renewal, but “decided to pass,” and make his exit instead.

 

Cooper’s departure from 60 Minutes comes after a tumultuous year on the venerated television program, after several longtime staffers left, network brass pushed through a controversial settlement with President Donald Trump in order to help pave the way for CBS’s parent company Paramount’s merger with Skydance Media to get the administration’s approval, and Weiss’ decision to delay airing a segment on the Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo, abbreviated CECOT, a notorious maximum security prison in El Salvador where the Trump administration sent some undocumented immigrants in contravention of court orders.

 

Variety’s Brian Steinberg confirmed Cartwright’s reporting, noting that the end of Cooper’s tenure on 60 Minutes would also mean the end of one of show’s key promotion tactics, as his contract allowed him to use his segments on his CNN show as well.

 

“Being a correspondent at ’60 Minutes’ has been one of the highlights of my career. Newly released Department of Justice documents from the Epstein files have exposed a previously unknown connection between a 2012 White House advance-team scandal in Cartagena, Colombia, and Kathryn Ruemmler - the former Obama White House counsel who later became Goldman Sachs’ top lawyer.

 

Ruemmler resigned from Goldman late last week, after the latest Epstein document dump revealed her extensive, affectionate, and years-long correspondence with the convicted sex offender. The emails show she called him “Uncle Jeffrey,” accepted expensive gifts, and turned to him for advice on sensitive legal and reputational matters - including how to respond to a 2014 Washington Post report that accused her of helping suppress evidence of prostitution involving a rich kid White House aide whose daddy was a huge Obama donor.

 

The WaPo report, by all accounts, cost Ruemmler a job as Obama's Attorney General.

 

The 2012 Cartagena Prostitution Scandal

In April 2012, ahead of President Obama’s trip to the Summit of the Americas in Cartagena, Colombia, at least 20 Secret Service agents, military personnel, and others were involved in hiring prostitutes. The scandal led to multiple firings and disciplinary actions.

 

A lesser-known element involved Jonathan Dach, a 25-year-old Yale Law student and unpaid White House advance-team volunteer (son of prominent Democratic donor Leslie Dach). Hotel records obtained by investigators showed a prostitute was checked into Dach’s room at the Hilton Cartagena shortly after midnight on April 3, 2012.

 

Secret Service Director Mark Sullivan briefed White House counsel Kathryn Ruemmler on the evidence. The White House conducted a review, interviewed advance-team members (including Dach), and publicly declared “no indication of any misconduct” by White House personnel. Dach was later cleared and went on to work at the State Department.

 

More recently, Dach was found to have 'chronically violated state rules' in his role as former chief of staff to Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont (D) by using a state vehicle as his personal car for nearly two years "and driving at speeds constituting reckless driving under Connecticut law."

 

The 2014 Washington Post Revival and Ruemmler’s Response

In October 2014, while Ruemmler was in private practice at Latham & Watkins and reportedly under consideration to replace Eric Holder as Attorney General - WaPo published new details. Reporters Carol D. Leonnig and David Nakamura revealed that the White House had received specific evidence (hotel records and witness accounts) implicating a White House advance-team member but had not fully investigated or disclosed it.

 

On October 9, 2014, Epstein emailed Ruemmler: “Doing fine. Was talking to reporters until late in the morning last night. Trying to isolate/contain wapo.”

What are explained to the public as surprise attacks are often known in advance to some who capitalize on the coming event by selling short the stocks of companies likely to be adversely affected by the event.

Neither the official explanation of 911 nor the official explanation of October 7 is believable. Independent scientists have established that the three World Trade Center buildings were brought down by controlled demolition, certainly not an undertaking the alleged Muslim terrorists could have managed. Several Israeli military and intelligence figures have said publicly that it is impossible for the barriers between Israel and Gaza to have been penetrated without instantaneously setting off alarms, permitting no time for Hamas’ penetration into Israel.

 

The most likely explanation for 9/11 and October 7 is that they are orchestrated operations, one by the George W. Bush neoconservative regime in order to create the new Pearl Harbor that the neoconservatives needed to launch war on Israel’s opponents in the Middle East, and the other by the Israeli government to provide a justification for Israel’s genocidal assault on Gaza, which is now in its third year.

 

Both the United States and Israeli governments claim to be democracies, but there is no transparency. The elites that control governments have agendas different from the agendas of citizens. Orchestrated events are used in order to launch these agendas into operation. The absence of media investigation, and the absence of questioning on the part of the public ensures the success of the concocted acts of violence that create the opportunity for secret agendas to be achieved.

 

As people everywhere should know, governments are not truthful. Governments represent the interest of those elites who control them.

Roughly 100 American troops arrived in Nigeria today to help train and support the country’s military, a U.S. official confirmed to Task & Purpose.

 

The deployment comes nearly two months after the United States carried out a series of strikes in Nigeria’s Sokoto state on Christmas, targeting Islamic State-linked militants. Earlier today a spokesperson for Nigeria’s armed forces said that U.S. service members arrived at Bauchi Airfield in northern Nigeria. Their mission is to help Nigerian troops “effectively identify and neutralize extremist terrorist groups seeking to destabilize the nation.”

 

“The collaboration will provide access to specialized technical capabilities aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s ability to deter terrorists threats and enhance the protection of vulnerable communities across the country,” Maj. Gen. Samaila Uba, a spokesperson for Nigeria’s Defense Headquarters, said in a statement.

 

The deployment follows a formal request by the Nigerian government for training, technical support and intelligence sharing. A spokesperson for U.S. Africa Command said that the forces are there to support Nigerian-led counter-terror operations, but did not say where the deployed troops were coming from or what units they are with. Nigeria’s statement stressed that the Americans are not a combat force and will strictly serve as advisers.

 

Last week Reuters reported that the U.S. military plans to send a total of 200 troops to the central African country. The first wave began flying in over the weekend. It’s unclear when the remainder of that force will deploy to Nigeria.

 

Last fall the Trump administration repeatedly threatened military action in Nigeria, claiming there was large-scale violence against Christians in the country and that the government was not doing enough to stop it. Nigeria has refuted that claim, saying extremists have targeted people of all faiths. The massive country has seen several ongoing internal conflicts, although experts say much of that fighting is focused on economic disputes. Northern Nigeria is largely Muslim, and Muslim Nigerians have repeatedly been targeted by extremist groups.

 

On Christmas, a Navy destroyer fired several Tomahawk missiles at suspected camps for ISIS and Lakuwara, an affiliated group in Sokoto State. Some of the missiles failed to explode. It is unclear how many people were killed in the attacks. In January President Donald Trump threatened additional strikes.

 

The United States has been heavily involved in combat operations in Africa, with airstrikes against ISIS and other militant groups like al-Shabaab hitting record levels over the past year.

Former Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak used the Boko Haram threat to pilot Israeli facial recognition scanning in Nigeria, while Jeffrey Epstein facilitated oil and logistics deals.

 

The year before Jeffrey Epstein’s suspicious death in a Manhattan jail, the financier was working to broker an infrastructure deal for Emirati logistics conglomerate DP World in Nigeria, according to a massive trove of emails released by the Justice Department last month.

 

In an email exchange from the summer of 2018, Epstein facilitated talks between then-chair of Nigeria’s sovereign investment fund, Jide Zeitlin, and DP World’s ex-chairman, Sultan Ahmad bin Sulayem, on possible shipping terminals in Lagos and Badagry. Sulayem resigned from DP World on February 13, 2026 amid fallout from the revelation of his intimate friendship with Epstein.

 

DP World’s leadership was reluctant to invest in an industrial zone in Nigeria unless they could own the surrounding port outright, and talks with previous Nigerian presidents, since 2005, had led nowhere. Zeitlin informed Sulayem that he was close to then-President Muhammadu Buhari and billionaire shipping magnate Gabriele Volpi—the owner of Intels, Nigeria’s largest logistics company, which services the country’s massive oil & gas sector. Epstein, in turn, offered to involve Kathryn Ruemmler, former White House counsel under President Barack Obama. Ruemmler recently announced her resignation as chief legal officer of Goldman Sachs.

 

Sulayem and Epstein worked together for more than a decade, cultivating a friendship between Israel and the United Arab Emirates long before the Abraham Accords agreement in 2020. Zeitlin wrote to Epstein in September 2018, after Djibouti nationalized DP World’s main hub in East Africa, “I hope your pal’s sojourn in Tel Aviv … was more effective than his efforts on the African continent.” After Epstein’s death, DP World acquired a controlling stake in a Nigerian logistics provider in 2022 and began expanding its footprint in Lagos as of last year.

 

Epstein was keen to profit from armed conflicts on the African continent. While negotiating DP World’s access to Nigeria, he was also helping Zeitlin navigate around U.S. sanctions on Ivan Glasenberg, the Israeli-South African CEO of mining giant Glencore, and Oleg Deripaska, then-chairman of the Russian aluminum titan Rusal. Glencore’s operations had been disrupted by a fraud probe into their dealings with Israeli mining kingpin Dan Gertler in Congo-Kinshasa. “Do you know Oleg Deripaska or Ivan Glasenberg?” Zeitlin asked Epstein. “Easy,” Epstein replied.

 

The American financier had deep ties to Israeli mining and military outfits in Africa, which he helped support alongside former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak—a close associate with whom Epstein corresponded almost daily. “With civil unrest exploding in ukraine syria, somolia, libya, and the desperation of those in power,” Epstein wrote in a 2014 email to Barak, “isn’t this perfect for you.” Barak replied, “You’re right [in] a way. But not simple to transform it into a cash flow.”
