Same here. But we have lots of new visitors that maybe still have some anonymity to protect. Young folks especially can be influenced by bravado, and we need them clean to enter politics and other public service. Anything they can be tainted with can be used to character-assassinate them.

Yes, anon, bravery is admirable. But there is also a time for discretion when being strategic. I have been far more vocal than discrete in my life, so I'm not criticizing you for your choice–I've made the same one! I'm trying to explain why our rules against self-doxxing are in effect. We have few rules, but this is one of them. Even if you're willing to risk IDEN, we don't want a precedent where that's seen as an individual's choice here, which is why at least one Anon will call it out when it happens. On this board, we are Anon. Protecting the environment is what has allowed it to continue, and we want it to continue.
