Anons,

There is no cause to brutally criticize bakers w/o simply providing clear explanations and suggestions for fixes, if not outright assists for those fixes. Anyone who hasn't baked has no idea how difficult it is to do a good job. To assume incompetence or lack of care when mistakes are made is to behave in very bad faith. Bakers work many hours a week, every week, for free. This summer, I averaged between 40-60 hrs/week. Now, I continue to bake many hours a day while also working IRL for pay. I do it for love of the cause, but w/o question, the worst part of the job is the abuse taken by "anons." Some are shills, but some aren't. Some is "friendly fire" that can and should be suppressed by personal responsibility on the part of the whiners.

The reason bakers attack baker-critics as shills is it's frankly very shilly behavior. If you want to see a different style, or a higher standard, of baking, then step up and provide that superior service yourself. Otherwise, kindly either assist your bakers as equals, or STFU.
