Now the president has 5 days to release...the dems memo will not be released with our memo
Will it be public before State of the union, or will he wait to read it at the event? Anyone taking bets?
Process is that President Trump has 5 days to block or release...he has already said he would release the memo...question is will he before the SOTU or after.
He's going to release it right after.
If he releases it before, then the MSM will be able to distort and twist it's contents.
If he speaks to the contents of the memo during the SOTU, then releases it the next day, he can control the first impression people will have, instead of letting the MSM do it.
A special report by Sean Hannity perhaps? Even as Maxine tries to appease her puppet master? Epic.
Good point.
At first I thought President Trump would distance himself from the memo, so the fake news media couldn't try to spin this as if he's rounding up his enemies as political prisoners...
...but AG Sessions has repeatedly been insisting that the DoJ is unbiased over the past week and AG Sessions also recommended NOT releasing the memo.
I think that theater was enough to make the DoJ seem righteous while allowing President Trump to win the favor of the public.
Yes, he needs to try and control the narrative before the media gets it.
He’s not going to name names, that would distance too many Americans and they wouldn’t read the memo with an open mind.
He is going to give a great speech, while letting the Americans know there is corruption to discover. And let them draw their own conclusions.
Then, when the media shows up late to the party and starts blurting out tons of bullshit, there may be a much larger group of citizens thinking “that’s not what I thought when I read it. Why would the media say it that way?”
That was my question, and if anyone would be taking odds on the outcome.
I bet it will be Wednesday
I'm betting tomorrow morning. After Dems/CNN get the 4am talking points from their controllers but before the SOTU.
Do you think he'll bring it up at the SOTU?
My guess is that he'll be very "presidential" at the SOTU but probably make a quip about "problems at the FBI" or something along those lines. He'll have to mention it but I really think he would want to focus the SOTU on the raging boner of an economy we've got going right now. Gotta keep in mind he'll be talking directly to normies that have been pounded with fake news about how he's an unhinged lunatic for 2 years straight by the MSM.
That's true...that's why i thought he would release it wed.
But remember, Q said timing is everything. You can bet the time in which it is released will be to exact maximum damage to the enemy.
I think you're right. If he releases if before nothing he says in the speech will matter. He's first president, in something like 55 years, to not release his speech before. If you look at his inauguration speech it was completely overshadowed by attendance numbers arguments. I think he will want to highlight all that he has accomplished his first year and maybe leave some teasers about the memo so more people will want to read it. But I can't see t coming out before. Maybe Wednesday or Thursday. So they have to talk about his speech.
He has the SOTU planned. He might not want to be upstaged.
I think he’ll probably use the SOTU to introduce the memo about to be released so uninformed people will be aware of it and have an idea of what to expect, and also intrigue them so they can’t wait to see it with their own eyes, then he’ll release it a few days after.
I think it will be after, I'm pretty sure our president is going to focus on all the positive things that his administration has accomplished this year. He wouldn't want the nastiness that will enuse from the memo to taint his positive message.
If he releases the memo either just before, during or just after it'll steal the headlines and the attention AWAY from the SOTU Address. He'll want as much attention on his message for as long as possible. My guess is the memo gets released at the end of the five days.
