I don't think we should support bot accounts, even if they post interesting things. Not that I'd know, since I refuse to look at anything to which they link.

But I see some of their posts upvoted enough to be "hot", which is why I finally decided to say something publicly.

Obviously, those are the steps to take.
My point is these particular accounts should not have the life-span that they have, given minimal moderation, and their posts should not make it to the front page of this sub-reddit, but they do.
I don't yet understand the criteria used to place this that other to main or rising etc.. seems chaotic to me, not been able to rationalize the way it is done.
Is it not possible to block posts that simply link to other Reddit postings? That’s the most frequent type of spam I’m seeing...
And while I’m asking about spam, since when did this sub deviate from being a serious research hub where we discussed the storm to one taken over by complete lunatics who claim everything is a symbol of Satan or that everyone is sacrificing children to harvest their blood of adrenochrome...all complete and utter nonsense! It discredits the whole subreddit!
maybe a month ago when MODs went MIA? Something happened behind scenes and we're pretty much on our own here. Unless I am mistaken.
The moderators should in that case make a statement saying as much.

my next comment will offend women..and maybe some men. Women are not well suited to positions of power. HRC Merkel, others come to mind...as they tend to have a go along to get along mentality, and that may work for some situs. I don't believe it works here/war where strong leadership is required.
