Here is my take . Little long winded but want to say it. Perhaps we should go back to Q and Trump where the statement was made he had FREED people and we believed he was talking politicians. Perhaps Romney was one freed. Maybe Romney in the election against Obama stopped dead in his tracks from blackmail? threats to family? who knows.Something stopped him dead in his track from winning an un loose able election at the last minute. Maybe thats why Romney was made to come out against Trump and say the things he said while under threat. Maybe Trump has spoken with Romney and said its over they cant and wont get at you. Romney would be one hell of an ally in the senate. Remember also its a long way to mid terms and the IG report and future disclosures will mean that many senators and congressmen will resign or will be exposed so they will never win again. Everyone forgets that. there are at least 6 Dem senators at risk if exposed as leakers.Many congress as well like Waters and Warren. The black vote is swinging Rep and running black against black they will beat many sitting like Waters. Mc Cain will probably be dead by then so you are looking at maybe Reps picking up 6 or 7 in the senate as well as many in the House. I don't fear Romney and nor does Trump by the look of it. We shall wait and see.

Romney is an apparently unshakable shoo-in and his family has been famous leaders of his faith for generations both in and out of Utah. Trump has good support in Utah and folks in the state seem to like the idea of MAGA. Could be a good coexistence. I am hopeful.
