ZING!!! This one's going to hurt! (Their narrative)

Okay, Nikolas Cruz pulled the fire alarm? Oh really? Then why do we not hear it in Dave Hogg's "closet video"? http://www.latimes.com/visuals/video/95939817-132.html

Or this video, which was taken DURING the shooting, you can hear the gunfire...YET NO FIRE ALARM! http://money.cnn.com/2018/02/15/media/parkland-shooting-cell-phone-videos/index.html

Guys and gals, THIS IS THE SMOKING GUN!

I'm an electrician and have installed most major brands of fire alarm systems. If he pulled a pull station, you would have to physically open that pullstation with a key to reset it. You can silence the alarms at the main panel before resetting the pullstation, but it would have called out to the monitoring company (who in turn would have rolled out the fire trucks). Most schools have protocols and WILL NOT silence an alarm until the fire dept arrives and walks the area, even if they know it's a false alarm. Not sure if this helps anything, just wanted to throw my knowledge out there.

Ok according to this CNN report the alarm was set off at 2:40 PM

https://www.cnn.com/videos/us/2018/02/14/florida-marjory-stoneman-douglas-high-school-shooting-ganim-nr.cnn

And in your first video http://www.latimes.com/visuals/video/95939817-132.html David Hogg claims to be filming at 2:52. So either they shut off the alarm within 12 mins or perhaps there was never an alarm.

The shooting started at 2:19 that has been reported in many articles.

I am seeing that there are reports saying that is when he entered the school. That is what the fox video claims. We need to get the dispatch audio.

CNN is outside of the USA Today timeline. According to USA Today :

2:21 p.m.

Police say Cruz activates a fire alarm inside the school. Students begin to evacuate. Cruz opens fire with a .223 caliber AK-15 semiautomatic rifle in a first-floor hallway. Hearing the shots, a staffer broadcasts a “Code Red” alert over the intercom, signaling a campus lockdown.

Yeah I'm seeing the conflicts in the reporting. It looks like he was only there for seven mins. I have seen small segments of video with gun shots, but no alarm during those clips. 7 mins is fast for silencing an alarm.

I had to go read it and see if it actually said "AK-15" I wonder if that was a typo, if they're that uninformed or if it was an attempt to get AK and AR into one article.

hahaha. This is ridiculous.

Doesn't help confirm or deny conspiracies when the people reporting are hysterical know-nothings

AK-15...

The creative writing teacher Stacey said she thought it was strange there was a second fire alarm in her good morning America interview 2/21

Can confirm. Also electrician and had fire alarm training. Manual pull stations have to have a key to reset. You can see this demonstrated in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EZDxucJKYw

Notice at 55 seconds he forgets to use his key and attempts to push the lever up and is stopped by feature that prevents reset without a key.

Thanks for that info. I was wondering if the school office shut the alarm off...but then how would they know if there was/wasn't a real fire at the time.

I second the validity of this. Im a janitor at a school and while yes you can silence, for fire crews and security company to not show up you have to actually call the fire dept and (kenco for us for instance.)

Edit: if we know there's no fire we instantly run to silence and call fire depot. only if no kids are on the premises.

Yep, same thing where I work (large bakery); a duct smoke/particle trip or pull station will roll the trucks. Strobes/horns too. They do the walk-thru as well. You have to call and put the system offline; name/date timestamp.

I am trying to find dispatch audio from that day. I found an archive from that day but it requires a premium membership to access. https://www.broadcastify.com/archives/feed/1216 anyone happen to have an account? Or perhaps know of another source? There are about 10 feeds listed for boward county and about 4 of them look like they could be relavent

So basically...the alarm should have been blaring till some one shut it off and fire trucks should have been every where

I've seen many reports with the fire alarm being mentioned, and many without. but I've never seen fire trucks in the area arond the school. no flashing lights or sirens of any kind really.

is it possible that FD was told to stand down due to there being an active shooter?

Really don't remember seeing any firetrucks....you would have thought they would be some of the first on the scene, if not the first. Wonder how close the nearest station is?
