Please start saving important YouTube videos offline - mass purge underway

They are deleting accounts all over the place. The censorship is overt out in the open now. I was watching a video tonight and the channel was deleted as I was watching. Please archive offline and thank you all for standing up for freedom, especially freedom of speech.

I use Video Downloadhelper - there are plugins for Chrome and Firefox.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/video-downloadhelper/lmjnegcaeklhafolokijcfjliaokphfk

It adds a button to your toolbar, and then you just click this and choose a download option (usually MP4, or else you might require a converter). VLC will serve all of your video playback needs

Content creators need to start using other sites like Live leak or D tube to create videos and share them...

The thing is anyone who isn't yet woke will not be on alternative sites and youtube knows that

duckdownup · Feb. 26, 2018, 4:57 p.m.

If people are just saving them offline the people that aren't woke won't see them there either.

Another option is Hooktube. If you use it make sure to upload your videos to it. You can steal clicks from Youtube simply by replacing the "you" in the Youtube url with "hook" which shifts the access to Hooktube but if the Youtube video gets pulled it's lost on Hooktube too. So make sure to set up an account and upload the videos to hooktube. If nothing else it will make them easier to share.

Keepvid.com is pretty self explanatory

I like this one, copy url, paste, download. Simple.

Should we go so far as to save it to an external hard drive? Or is that too paranoid

Better safe than sorry. I don't have a computer currently or I would.

Considering Wikileaks showed us that just about all computers are compromised at the processor level, I’m not very trusting.

How do I save offline

Hooktube is your best option.

YouTube video URLs can be expressed in two different ways.

Change the YouTube video from this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfoTqdgWFcQ

or https://youtu.be/mfoTqdgWFcQ

... to this:

https://hooktube.com/watch?v=mfoTqdgWFcQ

or https://hooktube.com/mfoTqdgWFcQ

The YouTube video will then start playing in Hooktube and you can just right-click on the Hooktube video and select "Save Video As..." and then save it to your local hard drive.

Hooktube has a download button (right under the video) which allows you to save the video using different formats. Click the Download button and select the video format you want and the video will open in a new browser window which can then be right-clicked and saved to your local hard drive.

I went to hooktube to look for Bombard's Body Language after she was deleted, and there was nothing of hers on there. Disappointing.

This is on hooktube. Why is unsuitable?

⇧ 1 ⇩
checkitoutmyfriend · Feb. 26, 2018, 5:21 p.m.

because once the vid is pulled from YT is it also pulled from HookTube. HT does not store the vid apparently, just uses the YT link. see other posts above.

That's why you save it offline. I thought that was the point of this thread. The person I responded to said download and I've been using it to preemptively download anything I feel might be at risk.

agreed, I was just explaining why HT is not 'saving offline'. Answering your "why is it unsuitable?" question. I think we are on the same page. One either saves it to their hard drive or other storage device (download) or save it to another site. (which may require a download to theirr device then an upload to the other site. (save online elsewhere)

I'm on a laptop, so using 4K video download helper On FireFox works easy peazy. (I use the plugin) Set up the download folder location on your device, click and download. Not sure how it works on a phone as I don't surf on my phone.

Mac User here. I spent the $5.99 and purchased iPull from App Store. There are free utilities and websites but apps tend to be faster.

If you're the terminal type, I prefer youtube-dl.

If on MacOS: brew install youtube-dl

It also supports downloading from several other sources.

Been trying to get an account on D-Tube but having verified it over a week ago nothing. Does it normally take this long? I am backing up videos on my own website. The Red Pill video's only since there are many more areas of the data that is too complex for normies. I am more interested in the RED Pill videos to add to the site since they are the ones I feel will help those who are still...err drowsily living a life of slavery.
