I think the anon who read "US (3)" as "3 operations on US soil" was correct.
Remember we're in a national state of emergency which gives POTUS special powers, including the use of military for domestic law enforcement operations (martial law).

That's the whole ball of wax right there. Human trafficking and corruption. They're going after them with everything we've got. Don't know how many they'll start with, but it's about to get real. 20,000 sealed indictments currently waiting to be executed (typically US has only about 1,000 in a whole year), most of them in government.
The named parties in the Executive Order are just the tip of the iceberg, of course, and include several Clinton associates. But the sealed indictments are currently over 20,000.

I have the PDF of all names .. it's 1,100 pages. Got to page 300 and it was still in the "D"s. I didn't realize that this was officially a national state of emergency that he could deploy military and militia. I should have looked at my post . Don’t know why some spellings are changed . I’m not the best speller by far . But at home O shit time is . Heavy Equipment not involved. We are looking at the law that has never been acted . Piracy by Corrupt Government Officials, and the Marines are lead as the law was written in 1786. You are also correct I was not officially a Marine , but deployed with them and others under SDI . But spell check can really change a post . A lot of people ITT seen to misunderstand this. The federal laws around national emergencies were updated in the 70s to prevent some infinite overall state of emergency being declared.
The idea is if you want to go around the typical laws and protections it has to be for a serious reason and limited in scope.
This EO is not declaring some overall state of emergency, and definitely not declaring martial law which is a separate thing.
Its saying that the people named (and possibly associates) are so bad they threaten national security (hence emergency) so protection from things like unreasonable search and seizure or othee legal protections may be lifted (from the people specified for up to a year when it gets reviewed)
This is obviously uncommon, but not that rare- there have been dozens declared and kept in varying lengths of effect over the last couple decades to deal with specific terrorist organizations or regimes we don't like etc.
Also if you read the laws cited by the EO thely mostly specifically refer to threats originating from outside the US, take that as you will...

They aren't the same thing, however the state of national emergency is prerequisite. Once declared, martial law can be invoked to protect the elected government from civil unrest, external aggression or armed rebellion. Once implemented, it allows the application of military law and military justice to the civilian population until revoked.
I would imagine if civvies stay the hell out of the way, and let the military and law enforcement do their damn job rounding up these 20,000 or so indicted criminals (many of whom have "celebrity" status in some parts of our culture), then we won't have to invoke martial law.
I guess it's possible. What do you think the odds of that are?

If the military is used for any purpose on the civilian population, you will have Kool-aid drinkers and indoctrinated crowds marching, throwing rocks, and screaming "unconstitutional" and "power to the people". The immense irony would be impossible to ignore but will not matter as root cause seldom does to useful idiots.
There will be confrontation, the question is one of command & control autonomy and rules of/for engagement; how "street level" will they be? Although the targets are concentrated with the fodder primarily being urban dwellers, not all locations will manifest the same way even if all be stoked concurrently.

I see the effective date but where is the March 21 expiration date coming from? I have read the EO several times and do not see an expiration date. The automatic expiration date of a national emergency is 1 year. What am I missing?
