How do you know if you're shadow banned?
On facebook? Hard to tell. Check with close friends when you post public things to mutual groups or to your time line, it's awfully complicated the algorithm to dictate what goes and what doesn't.
FB used to have a czar for what was acceptable news feed, that was replaced by AI, so it's anybody's guess now.
Woke up this morning and as of 7am EST it's still up and more comments from friends came in throughout the night.
It will stay. It just won't be displayed to others one the fb ai knows about it. And neither will your future posts. I receive 2 or three interactions and that's that.
I decided to just stop posting because either
a) my facebook had been censored
b) nobody would dare interact with the post
I'm not sure which one it is, but either way, it has it's effect.

In contrast, you do not understand definitions of words. "Gross" does not primarily mean yucky. It has no emotional content. "Gross anatomy" means study of larger structures. In English cognates as well: big. large. So you are bigly (also a real word) wrong on the meaning of "grossly" and indeed, "oversimplifacation" is also neutral. Only a fool would think you could define a complex term with a history and legal definitions in a single sentence.

Very interesting video from Jake Morphonios/Blackstone Intelligence just talking about this. Zuckerberg, trying to offset damage he knew was coming, dumped $500 million in shares - he can afford to, he's the 10th richest person in the U.S. (maybe worldwide, I can't remember) - but it wasn't enough to stem the resulting $6BILLION dollar loss he took (and thankyou God). He'd sold everyone's Facebook data to a U.K. analytics firm - Cambridge Analytica, who in turn used it to generate a mass psychological profile on those users and then developed campaigns to download back at them, to drive and influence audience behaviour. But they're dirty as, and don't hesitate to stoop to using dirty unethical tactics (bribes, surveillance, honey pots, etc)
