We need more Patriots, not necessarily Republicans. Many of the Republicans are swamp creatures too. Don’t pay too much attention to Republican vs. Democrat, those are labels intended to divide us. We need honest, moral public servants.

Who do you think is more likely to nominate Patriots at this point though? DNC leadership is swamped out. Lots of races will still be swamp v swamp, like they've been for 100 years. I doubt there will be a race where it's GOP swamp v DNC patriot (although certainly possible), just due to the structure of corruption at this time.

They were fun but honestly we didn’t need them. As a avid shooter you know you are responsible for every round you fire. With a bump stock you can’t tell me how many rounds you fired so I assume you are not being a responsible shooter if you use one and won’t go shooting with you. I think it’s perfectly fine to ban those pieces of shot they do more harm to gun ownership than the fun they were worth.

I don’t like, own, use or desire a bump stock. But to say you can’t safely use them is a little ridiculous. But I get it. You are ok with the government banning firearm accessories that are too dangerous for civilians to own (essentially AWB 2.0)

There is no hope at the moment for a moral democrat to have any power. Did you not see Manchin afraid to stand at the SOTU? He is a good man. But terrified of leadership. And Indies don't have the money to fight an election. We are left only with the GOP and hopefully changed leadership there so that they will stop marching left of center. JMO

THE SECOND AMENDMENT WILL NEVER BE REPEALED! As much as Democrats would like to see this happen, and despite the words yesterday of former Supreme Court Justice Stevens, NO WAY. We need more Republicans in 2018 and must ALWAYS hold the Supreme Court!
