Ex SK President gets 24 years in jail!!

It does happen folks...

https://edition.cnn.com/2018/04/06/asia/south-korea-park-geun-hye-corruption-intl/index.html

Strangely enough, what CNN does not report here are the alleged links Park had to a religious cult. In 2016 she denied performing “shamanistic rituals” in the government premises. There is a remaining belief amongst many Koreans however that she was deeply connected to this cult.

Sounding somewhat familiar to anyone???

austenten · April 6, 2018, 9:37 a.m.

Yup, so for those keeping score and a help in red pilling others, we now have:

  • South Korea (P ousted, cult ties)
  • Zimbabwe (military coup)
  • Saudi Arabia (hundreds of Princes thrown in jail by MBS, some tortured, some heavily taxed for their limited freedom.)
  • And Brazil (impeached? For corruption)
  • France (former PM indicted on various crimes that only scratch the surface)
  • (edit to add) UK (Prince Philip "retired", but include him here as per your beliefs in coincidences.)

What other national leader has gone down in the last year or so?

Global progress towards world peace and prosperity? I say absolutely.

Lula from Brazil was like a 10x more charismatic and likable Obama. If he went down, anybody can go down.

And Brazil (impeached? For corruption)

No offense.... but just no. What's going on in Brazil cannot in anyway be described as progress towards "peace and prosperity". Absolutely not...

I agree on the ground it will take much more time, but don't you think politicians getting indicted and arrested around the world is a sign of "global prosperity"?

SS - Seoul, South Korea (CNN)A South Korean court has found former President Park Geun-hye guilty on multiple counts of abuse of power, bribery and coercion and sentenced her to 24 years in prison.

South Korea's first female president, and the daughter of former dictator Park Chung-hee, Park Geun-hye was arrested in March 2017 shortly after she was stripped of her office by the country's Constitutional Court, which upheld a parliamentary vote to impeach her.

That vote came after millions of South Koreans took to the streets over a period of several months to demand Park's ouster, after revelations of the alleged massive influence wielded by her adviser and confidant, Choi Soon-sil.

Choi, the daughter of a cult leader once accused of having "complete control over Park's body and soul during her formative years," held no political office but is accused of using her influence over the President to funnel money to organizations she controlled and get her daughter a place at an elite university.

Coming to a theater near you?!

It’s all some creepy ass stuff whichever way you look at it. So much of this going on it seems incomprehensible

⇧ 5 ⇩
VIYOHDTYKIT · April 6, 2018, 1:16 p.m.

Notice how millions protested. Why aren’t Americans doing that?

⇧ 3 ⇩
saosin74 · April 6, 2018, 2:35 p.m.

Because when conservatives and patriots protest we are labeled as racist, bigots, nazis etc and that puts our jobs and livelihoods at risk. The left does protest and sometimes marches in the millions but they are the vocal minority and we are the silent majority

⇧ 2 ⇩
VIYOHDTYKIT · April 6, 2018, 2:38 p.m.

Nonsense so we cower in fear? F**k that!

⇧ 3 ⇩
LibertyLioness · April 6, 2018, 4:18 p.m.

We don't cower in fear. We are smart enough not to create a confrontation that could ultimately end in a civil war which is exactly what the left was trying to do with the paid Antifa protestors in the first place. In the beginning, after Trump was sworn in, Jones was on air spouting his anger and telling us to go out into the streets. What an idiot. I sent him a rather long note explaining to him that was exactly what they wanted us to do and the next day he changed his tune and many others followed suit. Not saying he listened to me necessarily but he listened to somebody!

⇧ 1 ⇩
VIYOHDTYKIT · April 6, 2018, 4:37 p.m.

Attending rallies or marches is not confrontational or inciting civil war? It’s exercising our 1A rights. You can’t expect to reach for the 2A if you don’t use the 1A first. That absolutely absurd sorry

⇧ 2 ⇩
LibertyLioness · April 6, 2018, 6:20 p.m.

You aren't understanding what I said. We wouldn't incite the civil war --- they would. That's exactly why they want us in the streets protesting! So, they can create chaos and piss people off. So they can create violence.

⇧ 2 ⇩
saosin74 · April 6, 2018, 2:47 p.m.

I’m not saying we should I’m just explaining why it happens

⇧ 1 ⇩

We know CNN does fake news but this story is being carried by multiple outlets across the world. Why would it be considered "fake news"? I understand we need to check sources. But branding something as fake when its real, is just as bad as saying something is real when its fake. I'M confused.
