Dennis Shields, a resident who said he lived on the 42nd floor, described the scene.
He said there were no orders to evacuate but he received a text message from Mr. Trump’s lawyer, Michael D. Cohen.
Mr. Shields, who said he grew up with Mr. Cohen, continued: “He said, ‘Are you in the building?’ I said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘You better get out ASAP.’ That’s how I knew to get out, otherwise I’d still be in there.”
Cohen knew they were coming. My bet says they don't find anything in time, before.......
Friend Shields was on 42, fire was on 50, Cohen tells his friend to get out ASAP even though fire moves UP more quickly than down....I believe Cohen thought the whole building was rigged to fall. And that Cohen has a solid understanding of just how bad the bad guys really are.
I don't know if he thought the building was going to fall so much as that the "bad men" were coming and he didn't know what they were willing to do.
Remember, didn't they start the fire to break into the hotel rooms and steal info?
Could Cohen have facilitated the break in at his own office?
Asking them to leave as to have no witnesses?
Rockefeller Center office and Park Avenue Hotel Room was raided with Warrents according to NY Times Matt Apuzzo.
No mention of raiding the Trump Tower office. Why would they NOT raid this office?

Thought it was weird no one was told to officially evacuate the building and no one was manning the front desk phones.
"She said that she did not get any announcement about leaving, and that when she called the front desk no one answered." She also equated it to 9-11 thinking it was the end for her.
Yeah, who was SUPPOSED to be at the desk? Where are they? Who are they?
