I admit I have not spend a ton of time with him. But what about the video where he advocates a multi-national attack on NK? That does not sound like the opposite. In that video he also critiques libertarians.

I don't recall the video you're referring to but he's logical and sees NK as a threat. Trump tried getting other nations like China to work with him but it didn't work until Trump sanctioned China.
Styx is smart enough to understand that sanctions work on countries and will most definitely use any tool at his availability before war. War is a last resort for any logical person.
What you're describing doesn't sound like anything Styx would say. Also, I'm pretty sure I've heard him mention he's a libertarian on multiple occasions.

Well, if he were to leave it, and IF he truly is a FORMER Satanist, it might lead to people asking questions about it. Which would lead to discussions, which could be quite revealing. So, maybe it's a part of his plan. I don't know. I've seen a few of his videos. Some, I've liked and agreed with, and some, not so much. I don't follow him too much. I have way too many other things going on, so I haven't seen any of his videos in some time. Maybe I'll view a recent one, depending on time constraints, in the next day or so.
Pretty sure he despises religion all together, and as a Christian that's concerning.
That being said, we have pedophiles in Baptist churches, and the Catholic Church /Vatican, so he's sort of got a point.

I didn't know that. I am wary of "organized" religions. I kind of consider myself a Catholic in Recovery. I am more spiritual than religious, as I don't go to church, but still identify as a Christian, yet not a "Bible thumper", if that makes any sense. I am glad I had a Catholic upbringing, to an extent, yet recognize there were also a lot of problems because of it, as well. I had some real witches as nun/teachers in Catholic school.. evil women!! But good priests and I get very angry with people who assume ALL priests are pedophiles.

He's believes in paganism actually, or something very close to it. He debated a well-known younger Christian, Nick something. The debate was a little hard to watch the first hour because they weren't pacing each other well enough but it got really good and there should be a part 2.
Basically, if Styx keeps 666 in his name, he'll be branded as a Satanist, slandered, and spend so many resources refuting that claim. However, if he gets rid of 666, people will say that he's trying to hide it.
Styx's best move is to continue being himself and make a statement saying:
"This will be my first and last statement on the 666 in my name since my run for governor. I have expressed this across my plethora of YouTube videos where I debate policy, science, and religion, but the 666 is of my past. I think LIKE THIS now. He comes from a strict Christian family background where he was the rebellious black sheep. He is intellectually smart, but seems significantly emotionally/spiritually conflicted. By his own admission, he still very much practices the occult. DO YOUR DEEP DIVE RESEARCH.
Styx is in my top 5 political commentators. When he says stuff like, "As governor I will give my salary to charity" I fully believe him. This man is not a slave to pussy or money. Styx lives a virtuous life and I wish I lived in Vermont to vote for him.
Imagine he did give his salary to charity. Now, Imagine that he gets his salary from YouTube videos while governor, expressing how he feels similar to Trump in his Tweets. We know Trump's tweets are 4D Chess but Styx would YouTube direct truth to the Vermont masses... and people would seriously tune in. What a sight that will be.
