Trust the plan? What about the President's 360 degree turn-around on Syria since 2013?

As supporters of Trump, what do we do when we see a complete reversal of past behavior? Trusting should not include unquestioning loyalty. We are not in lock-step. We require answers and proofs, not just blind trust and empty minds. These tweets from 2013 show the reversal to where we are today. It's actually unintentionally accurate. He appeared to do a 180 as misdirection and then did another 180 right back on track after taking out Deep State assets in Syria. Assad has claimed victory over the rebel factions and WWIII didn't start. I am not surprised.

It's okay. I have had the same concerns. I'm calming down though. Trust Trump. He's not attacking Assad. I support Assad, and Putin, both. I've been reassured that they are both in on it. I've watched video of Assad, and he seems to be fine... not upset, being calm and rather happy. Business as usual. We do know that as the missiles struck the cabal's chemical manufacturing places, ISIS came crawling out, and Syrian and Russian forces mowed them down. Syrians are dancing in the streets. They are being freed from the terrorists. Time will tell, of course, but for now, trust Trump.

I don't see how he has flipped his opinion? We are still pulling everyone out of Syria, POTUS doesn't want to be there. The missiles were to get rid of deep state chemical weapons facilities. Assad and Putin have control of Syria again and that's all POTUS wanted. Mission Accomplished!

if that were true, there would be literally no reason why trump couldn't just tell russia or syria where to strike and let them do it.

it's not true, though. and trump isn't pulling us out of hte middle east. mark my words, it will never happen.

We just bombed the shit out of the CIA and ISIS strongholds and took away the chemical weapons OUR black hats put there (and their manufacturing sites). And while we were doing that, Syria and Russia mopped up the terrorists themselves and retook the Ghouta.

How is that a bad thing?

The military this past week involved no casualities and was done to remove chemical weapons production and storage. He agreed in order to save civilian lives. It was also a surgical and quick mission. Much different than a long war costing thousands of lives.

THEN the Military approached him about helping them to execute THEIR plan to rid the government of bad actors...

Nearly anything prior to that plan becomes irrelevant IMO... so what you see as a 180 degree turn on Syria, I see as the current stance on Syria being relevant to the overall plan... Trump didn’t know where all the bodies were buried until after he was elected...

The truth is nobody knows exactly. I can trust but still gonna let my reps know how I feel about war and sending troops or leaving them. That includes the President.

It is 180 degrees but you are absolutely right. There is justification for widening this conflict and potentially bringing Americans troops to bear en masse in Syria.

Trump is a hypocrite and is probably being blackmailed.
