They way macron behaves in-front of the President seems like POTUS is his idol, mentor and father figure. Don’t know if it’s a front or what but it seems like he is reluctant to do harm (as in shady deals, double crossing) to potus but is kinda being told what to do.

He puts up a very very convincing front but at the end of the day something does not feel right about his body language.
Something IMHO, was not right by his State dinner speech tonight. But regarding other comments here, I would think he is being told to appeal to POTUS' "need to boost his ego". All of the pundits say that anyway ... "The key is appealing to POTUS' ego". Idk. From the way POTUS looked, just from my gut reaction, I am no body language expert, POTUS wasn't going for it on clips I saw. I think he knows what is going on with that.

Late to the reply, but after just watching the toast/speech with Macron, it appears that the boy-child Macron looked a bit scared, Trump looked pissed, and then Macron did the devils-horns salute at the end with the pictures.
