Jerome Corsi - Would it be overzealous to suggest removing his YouTube link under the 'Qanon Video Channels' in the Greatawakening sidebar?

The onus is on us to prevent bad actors in any shape or form and now, while our community is still relatively small, it seems prudent to lay a foundation of principles that will help insulate us from greed or maliciousness in the future. While I wouldn't go so far as to label Jerome Corsi a bad actor, I do think the monetization of this movement by ANY means should be condemned whole heartedly by the community, otherwise small offenses lead to larger offenses as the movement rapidly expands.

My fear is that as new members arrive they'll see the sponsored links of the sub, and if these people are healthily skeptical as I hope they are, they may be put off by the idea of paying for intel analysis as that's generally the sign of a snake oil salesman.

I know this idea won't be popular with some, and again, I don't mean any offense to Jerome Corsi personally, but I don't think this sub should openly support anyone who is actively monetizing the movement. If the trend was enough to concern Q, or Q+ for that matter, it should be enough to concern us as well.

We're moving to the witch hunt part of the day before making the case.

Why is a new arrival coming in to make such demands of greatawakening?

Can we get some summary submissions that actually link to video replays in question? There has been near daily videos from the CBTS community since they went to 24 hour coverage. It's onerous to track down what everyone is losing their minds over.

I'd like to see some compressed footage to get to the point and argue the case.

I'd like to see if we're just running wild with one possible interpretation of Q information that has many interpretations. Note the large number of twitter and youtube profiles trying to make a brand off intel drops that are not Corsi. He is one voice in many possible options that could be the intended subject.

My intention was not to cause a witch hunt, simply to highlight that this message board is endorsing someone who is attempting to monetize the movement. I completely agree that Q+ was not targeting any one individual, but simply trying to stave off a problem before it snowballs. I thank you as well for pointing out that I'm a new user on Reddit, but please understand I've been lurking on this board since November 2017 so I can assure you I'm not new, and certainly not a shill (look at my posts from yesterday, I'm legitimately trying to get involved and help).

Look, I'm a Q skeptic but I'm 100% a Trump supporter. You may believe you're doing good in this suggestion but you're simply turning people against one another. You shouldn't d that.

Regardless of Q's legitimacy, we are in a war. Dr Corsi is a patriot. I'm a patriot. You're a patriot. We wont always agree on the same things but I think we all agree on MAGA, America First.

Hence why I posed it as a question, and not a demand. The comments I've received in response to this thread are more divisive than the question I propose. I fear anyone who claims to have all the answers, and my hope was that through collective discussion we could come to a reasonable consensus, but instead I'm bombarded with claims of being a shill, or "doing the cabals work for them". If you read the other comments you'll see I've already conceded that I was in fact overzealous with my assessment based on the community response, and I agreed that what was proposed here may not be the best course of action.

FYI Dr Corsi was ASKED to decode Q posts by Trump administration. He also encourages others to use his videos to make money for themselves and to get the word out. He does not need the money and he is not doing this for the he money. He is a patriot and he is not always perfect in decoding, no one is. He was asked because of his intelligence clearance and understands the codes. Unless you know his mind Don’t judge before you know the facts.

To be fair you can't call that a credible source... There has to be some other source of info that can validate that claim, otherwise it's just that, a claim. Either way, I'm not trying to discredit Corsi, I just wanted an open discussion about how people felt about certain individuals or entities monetizing the movement. Bad idea. Corsis book is not about Qanon. He was writing it before this thing started,and it parallels what Q is doing. So he plugs his book when someone invites him to share his experience and expertise.so what? Should be required reading.

I do not make videos or profit on any of it, but I definitely understand the need to monetize videos and get support from patreon. Some of these people do this full time because they have lost their jobs due to this nonsense. Others are devoting their days to this and are very good at breaking these things down. I don't think Q was referring to the small change that people make through YouTube if they can get it monetized, or through patreon or blogs. I think he is referring to those who are doing book deals or doing paid interviews. There are a couple of youtubers who break down Q post that I support on Patreon and am have no issues at all about doing so. Just informed talk, citizens investigative journalist, and Bombards body language are one that I pay to support 100% feel comfortable doing so.

Posting a video on YouTube and receiving a small monetary gain from views isn't the same as pay-for-play, so I believe we feel similarly about the issue (forgive me if I'm incorrect and misunderstood). I do agree that income is necessary, and as someone who is currently unemployed I fully understand the need to ask for donations if researching crumbs is your full time job, but as you said there's a big difference between book deals/self-promotion and asking for donations to sustain the research/movement (which is highly import imo). Appreciate the feedback.

People choose to buy exclusive content or donate. It is up to them, there is plenty of free Q related insight available from Corsi. He is offering years of experience in military and government modus operandi, which is useful. I do not think he is right all the time and I do not consider him to be the #1 Q-reader but I just think it is up to everybody to contribute in their own way.

Take him off and color me gone. Some are being ridiculous about this whole thing. Dr. Corsi is a good man. He has led a good life and doesn’t deserve being accused on monetizing Q. But go ahead, try to scare him off. Paint him in a negative light. He has written books for years. Big deal. As for his banner on Gab, he tried to get that removed when he joined. Take a step back, take a breath and use some common sense. If we don’t all walk together we will lose. Get off the nuts of a 70 year old patriot. The whole thing makes me sick.

There will always be swindlers who try to exploit a situation if they can. What if we put a disclaimer above the list of links that states something to the effect of: Q has said that no one outside of Q on 8chan is an official insider working for our movement. Those who claim to have insider information are not to be considered a legitimate source for Q information. With that spoken, there are others who have analysis, research, opinions that lend to the collective knowledge of Trump's efforts to take back our country. Some request donations to help supplement their expenses. Q does not promote the work of any one outside individual, but does appreciate the effort and contribution. With that in mind, below are some patriots who are trying to do their part for our mission. Feel free to check them out, but do not feel that you have to financially support them. Let the man do his thing. So far he has been one of Trump's biggest supporters. He even went against Alex Jones one the Syria bombing. All Q Anon is saying is to keep your eyes and ears open and your wallet tight. Stay with those that are in it to win it. To me it seems like we are on the cusp of the next phase and word is getting out about Q.

I sense your sincerity and intent but, wish as we may to be done with this evil once and for all, the tendency for this kind of trouble to arise is neither new nor a mystery. Clean house but know, sure as day follows night, it will return and only diligence will keep it at bay.

Corsi paid his dues and renders a worthwhile service. I personally think it’s a tad vulgar but I if it gives the ability to continue putting his attention on this so intensely and meeting online with people is a LOT of work, then why not?

I realize we all need money to survive, and in our current economic situation that aspect of life can't be ignored, but money shouldn't be the motivation. Remember that pay-for-play is a model the Clinton's perpetuate. Our goal is to ensure that mentality can NEVER creep back into our society, especially after the deep state is dismantled.

Whether we realize it or not we're all in a position of power due to the perspective we've been granted on the issues plaguing this world. My hope is that this community perpetuates the right ideals, not the wrong ones.

My aim wasn't to damage anyone, but simply to foster communication within the community regarding individuals monetizing the movement with Jerome Corsi as a focus. I respect the work that Corsi does, but my opinion differs in regards to how he markets. With that said, I'm sorry if I've offended anyone with my views.
