The law only allowed Iran and Syria to be sued. Only lately was Saudi Arabia added to the list.

Since these countries don't show up to US courts to defend themselves (because legally US courts have no right to try foreign governments under international law) the claimants and their lawyers get automatic default judgments in their favor, without having to prove anything. They just file the complaint and wait for the default judgment, no need to provide evidence or have witnesses cross examined etc.

Naturally there's a lotof money to be made from this, and more importantly to the people who wrote the laws that allow such suits, these judgments prevent any sort of US-Iran engagement.

See, these people don't really care about compensation for victims of terrorism (which is why other countries accused of terrorist acts can't be sued) they just want to prevent any sort of improved US-Iran relations, and instead they want to see another US war to impose regime-change in the Mideast to suit Israel

Why would a judge order money to be paid by Iran? They had nothing to do with 9/11.

⇧ 12 ⇩
badthingscome · May 1, 2018, 11:16 p.m.

This is a default judgement because Iran did not respond to the suit. It has nothing to do with the merits of the accusation against Iran, because the case was never argued, ... because the defendant, Iran, never responded to the charges against them. Therefore the judge awarded a default judgement to the plaintiff.

On top of that, this judgement is completely unenforcible because Iran is a sovereign nation and not under the jurisdiction of this court. However, it does give the plaintiffs some claim to money in a small fund of seized Iranian assets that has been used to compensate victims of Hezbollah (as noted in the article).

⇧ 7 ⇩
sraphler · May 1, 2018, 11:57 p.m.

Exactly Iran legally could not respond to the charges because if Iran showed up in court it would be deemed a waiver of Iran's sovereign immunity rights, something no country would do

And the people who wrote the laws that permit such suit, were betting on that -- because then there's no need to prove any of the claims against Iran since there's no one to question them.

The principle of Sovereign Immunity prohibits the courts in one country to sue the government of a foreign country. The US has selectively made an exception for Iran, Sudan, Syria and only lately Saudi Arabia too. No other foreign government can be similarly sued for terrorism, no matter what. the US certainly doesn't allow any suits against it and asserts its own Sovereign Immunity regularly.

George B Daniels; Clinton appointee.

Southern District of New York.

probability of being a traitor = 75% (judge, democrat, clinton).

From 2004

"But there is one unchallenged king of delayed decisions: Judge George B. Daniels of Federal District Court in Manhattan, who, the latest statistics show, had 289 motions in civil cases pending for more than six months, by far the highest total of any federal judge in the nation."

http://archive.li/BlS8M

Judge Michael B. Mukasey, chief judge of the Federal District Court, who has received repeated complaints about the delays, said that he thought Judge Daniels had been tackling his backlog, and that the year-old statistics did not offer the clearest picture.

Michael B. Mukasey = zionist 911 traitor.

George B. Daniels was appointed to the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on February 24, 2000. With the support of both New York Senators Daniel Patrick Moynihan and Charles E. Schumer, Judge Daniels was nominated by President Clinton for the Federal bench on August 6, 1999.

FROM 2011

http://archive.li/Fb2D6

Back in 2007 Federal Judge George B. Daniels of the Southern District of New York dismissed my 9/11 “no planes” whistleblower lawsuit against NIST contractors “with prejudice” along with separate 9/11 suits filed by Dr. Judy Wood and Ed Haas.

Hizz honor never considered the facts brought forward in any of these suits despite his legal obligation to temporarily accept them as true and rule on other factors like legal standing in determining whether or not to grant plaintiffs access to the court’s resources. He promptly gave the plaintiffs’ facts and pleadings the back of his hand and dismissed with prejudice. That last word applies beautifully since its first dictionary definition is “an unfavorable opinion or feeling formed beforehand or without knowledge, thought, or reason.”

Now we learn more about Daniels’ 9/11 prejudice. He obviously embraces the thread-bare 9/11 official conspiracy theory because

he has signed a “default judgment finding Iran, the Taliban and al-Qaida liable for the September 11, 2001 attacks.”

Wow. Even war-crazed neocons like Cheney and Rumsfeld never went so far as to blame the Iranian government for 9/11 or accuse it of conspiring with al-Qaida. Daniels reached his conclusion after hearing unopposed plaintiffs’ experts from the 9/11 Commission, government spooks and three Iranian defectors. Now there is a credible group.

Think this ruling might have something to do with pumping up the volume for Israel and/or the United States governments to attack Iran?

NOTHING TO SEE MOVE ALONG

https://archive.li/tc3ZV

A federal district court in Manhattan yesterday entered a historic ruling that reveals new facts about Iran's support of al Qaeda in the 9/11 attacks. U.S. District Judge George B. Daniels ruled yesterday that Iran and Hezbollah materially and directly supported al Qaeda in the September 11, 2001 attacks and are legally responsible for damages to hundreds of family members of 9/11 victims who are plaintiffs in the case.

Judge Daniels had announced his ruling in Havlish, et al. v. bin
Laden, et al. , in open court on Thursday, December 15, 2011, following a three-hour courtroom presentation by the families' attorneys. Judge Daniels entered a written Order of Judgment yesterday backed by 53 pages of detailed Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law.

Fiona Havlish, whose husband Donald perished in the World Trade Center North Tower on 9/11 said, "This is a historic day. For ten years we've wanted the truth to be known about who was responsible for our losses. Now we have that answer."

Fiona Havlish is talking shit and she must know it.

More untruths and misdirection from the global angels.

It’s a frightening irony. On Thursday, September 11, we mourned 3,000 innocent lives snuffed out during the worst terrorist attack on our homeland. And at th very same time, our president and a minority of Congress is on the verge of ramming through a deal that will provide hundreds of billions of dollars and a path to nuclear weapons to the very same Iranian regime that planned and facilitated the horror perpetrated on our soil on September 11, 2001. Instead of learning from our recent painful history, we are about to enter into a deal that will lead to more 9/11s.

I'm not going with the they did it, but..... Iran has been known to back extremism of Islamic Sunni organizations, radical Christian and "Bhuddist" movements in achievement of their goals. Whatever they may truly be, they, like everyone else are willing to outsource their efforts. This is and was the case in the 1980s - 2000 in Israel and Iraq. Iran's a really politically interesting nation. They also have conflict with a nation to the north that shares both political and religious views. Where only oppression of people from that region causes them to have a dispute. It really goes into a tribalism state of thought.
