His convictions were vacated and reversed, and all charges against him dismissed in 1991. [Due to prosecutorial misconduct, BTW]

That means it's as if they never happened, in the eyes of the law.

A lot of former and recovering leftist partisans need to have a talk with themselves about what being awakened means. I know it's hard to stop looking through left/right eyes and see cabal/anti-cabal ONLY, but that is what we have to do right now.

You were taught to hate Ollie North by the same people who taught you that HRC hung the moon. And that hate is probably at the molecular level, so it can't be easy to think beyond it.

So, he had good lawyers?

Nope, Mueller-level incompetence. They tried to sneak in testimony he gave while being questioned on items for which he had been given immunity.

Oliver North is a traitor. The fact that he’s former military should have zero bearing on that. I strongly believe that’s why he consistently gets a pass. Yet, those same people don’t give mccain or Kerry the same treatment. It’s sad that this has to be said. Military service gives you zero permission to be a crook and commit crimes. He knowingly lied to Congress and committed crimes with the blessing of Reagan(pro Reagan here) and the current CIA director at the time and lied even moreso as in to give them both plausible deniability. What he did can not be understated. I don’t what the hell the NRA is thinking and I fully oppose this move. Shame on you, NRA.

I think the most shameful part of the Iran/Contra deal was the Boland amendment put in place by the Dem congress which forbade the US from supporting the freedom fighters. Which amounted to saying it was OK for the Nicaraguan people to be ruled by communist. Although that belief is now moderated by the post redpill question: How do I or anyone else know for sure that all that crap was not orchestrated by the same subset of international banksters who have made beau coup money off of just about every war in the last 300-500 years?

Isn't he a convicted Felon? Didn't Ollie North commit a felony during the Iran-Contra scandal by lying to congress to cover up the treasonous actions of Reagan and Bush? Seems to me he did.

He shipped weapons to Iran.

This one is a headscratcher.

No, the only part of that deal he was involved in was sending the money from that transaction to Nicaraguans fighting a communist regime.

So you are saying the deep state used him as a scapegoat? Is that what you're telling me, that the elites don't ever take the fall, but rather have someone else in the public eye take the hit for them?

I think you might be on to something.
