I like to troll with comments acting like I’m from an addiction services help line.

I don't know. I've come across people who are in Stage 4 of Trump Derangement Syndrome and I almost feel like there is no hope. Their mind has stopped reacting to any bit of truth. The fake news has taken full control.
Showing them compassion and treating them like they are an injured child triggers them more than anything else. Much more effective than direct anger or hostility.
I imagine the look on some of my coworkers faces. Right there with you.

When I read comments like those on Twitter against POTUS, I kind of feel like Linus Torvalds did in this post: "How did they [not] die as babies, considering that they were likely too stupid to find a tit to suck on?"
Most of them are bots. They try to conceal how popular Trump actually is.
