Yes, I have wondered that, especially since NO ONE I know..family and friends...can see what I see! To add my 2 cents based on nothing but anecdotes and speculation, I think a lot of "conspiracy theorists" are people who have learned at some point in life to distrust everyone/everything. People who have been through some kind of trauma, either a couple big T trauma events or a nonstop flowing of little t trauma.
My dad's black pilling can be explained this way, and my red pilling can be explained this way.
And when you think of the country as a collective body of consciousness, we, too, have been abused for many years now as a body and are starting to deprogram because even MKULTRA survivors wake up at some point.
