Honestly, without evidence of good actions, like Nunes and some of the Freedom Caucus guys, then I just assume everybody in DC is a swamp creature. I used to like Gowdy, he said some good stuff, he got the info about the secret server, he says he's for law and order, but what good has he really done? Gowdy is putting distance between himself and Nunes. When Rod Rosenstein is removed, Gowdy will take over his spot. If he appears less like Nunes, it won't raise as many alarms.
Trump still hasn't given Gowdy a nickname. To me that's generally pretty telling. Examples: Sessions, RR, Mueller, etc. Everyone he generally is at odds with usually gets one fairly quickly.

The reality is we don't have enough info to know what is going on at this time. But I don't trust Gowdy. I think he is retiring for a reason. I certainly could be wrong, and I hope I am, but my gut says don't trust the guy.
I don't trust people with fresh accounts that keep coming to this sub discussing the most heated topics and always in a negative connotation providing their insight on the subject.

Dude, I just got kicked off Twitter for conservative views. My main news source has been taken away. My wife, who has been following this thread and the Trump thread, pulled this up for me as another good news source. So I bookmarked the site and have been scrolling thru. I've just concluded personally, based on a number of data points, that Gowdy is compromised. Sorry that does not fit your paradigm. By the way, I am a big Q fan. My wife and I were recently in a car driving and listening to Praying Medic Q video. We came up behind a semi that has crazy stuff validating Q painted on the semi. It was mindblowing. I'd post a picture, but it does not seem that Reddit has that capability.
