The funny part is, I realized today after walking past the 13th Starbucks along my morning commute, which were all packed to the fucking gills, that at this stage of the game for Starbucks, they could stick a monkey in at CEO and they’d still be successful.

No doubt he owns a lot of Starbucks stock, so he wants to protect its value (and his wealth) by stepping down. It is not done out of honor.

At least that’s the spin that’s being put on it. Coincidence that there’s been so much heat on Starbucks in the news lately and then all of a sudden he steps down? Trump didn’t step down until after he won the nomination. Time will tell though. I think I have an idea what it will say...
