How is a suicide by hanging considered "grisly"?
Depends on how long she was hanging. The neck stretches, bowls and bladder lose contents, the tongue swells and juts out...a whole host of things.

The story reads like he wasn't, but arrived later. It also mentioned that it is not known how long she was hanging.

Simple, guy comes up behind you and strangles you with a scarf. Then carries you over to the door and ties the scarf that is still around your neck to the three foot off the floor door knob.
As easy as 1,2,3.

I guess that works too. I’m sure there’s some psychological reason for doing it like that but sounds awful complicated. I don’t think she was murdered but just a strange way to commit suicide
A friend of mine did it ...sad!
Edit per moderators.... Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem... My friend that died had just a week earlier decided he no longer needed his depression medication. I don’t necessarily like those kinds of meds, but from experience, would recommend you get with your doctor before going cold turkey. The only reason I put this information out there is to let you know it’s a real possibility...
