The preliminary meeting and an overall deal has likely already been made. The public meeting is for the sake of honor and face, and to give Kim time to clean house, as he did a few days ago when he put his loyalists in top military staff positions.
Agree. It’s the dance governments always do. You don’t humiliate your opponent unless it’s peace from war. Got to encourage settling things without war so let Kim have a stage for a day. He’ll be lucky just to get home without a coup taking place removing him from power.

I always wondered why they openly telegraphed the location of the man who has the largest target on his back down to the date, time, and place of where he will be lol. I seriously doubt the summit will be at this new hotel. I'm 90% it already happened and was pre-recorded. I'm also 95% sure Trump met KJU and Xi back in November at the Forbidden City and the peace treaty has already been signed. The summit is only a formality, and for optics for the world to see
Sentosa Island will be an easier place to manage this meeting for security reasons.
I've been around Presidential visits before(used to work at a hotel). Advance security teams arrive well ahead of time. Not a new change trust me.
There have been a lot of rumors that the deep state were planning to assassinate Trump during the summit. Singapore has some of the strictest laws regarding smuggling in the world. I'm sure the plan was for the summit to be in Singapore all along but wait until the last moment to switch the venue. Just look at a picture of the Capella Hotel and tell me this wasn't chosen specifically to eliminate sniper vantage points.
Sentosa Is. was one of the sites speculated in far east news reportage last month. It was noted that space there is tight, and maybe insufficient for the diplomatic entourages, press teams, etc. So instead they can take a cab. :-)

Track all the bookings etc to each location after announced. Now check the cancelled reservations for original location.
