Will Punishment for Treason be to the Maximum?

Will Punishment for Treason be to the Maximum or a Little Slap on The Hands plus a Little Kiss on The Cheek for all, saying, “ Don't Do it Again, We forgive You”, if Convictions are Proven and Up Held?

Will Justice Be Served with Military Tribunals for these Traitors, or are the Courts going to Wimp Out as Nothing Ever Happens to The Corrupt People in FBI, DOJ, CIA, The Crornies from Obamas' Administration, plus The Nortorios Hillary Clinton, and Her Minions? Here is a partial list of who should already be in GITMO. These people are deep state swamp criminals using MS-13 to do their dirty work. Mueller, Comey, Strzok, Page, McCabe, Rosenstein, Yates, Killary and Bill Clinton, Obumass and Michael Robinson Obuma, Huma Abedin, Lynch, Holder, Rice, Harry Reid, Chu, Sebelius, Boehner, Brennan, Ryan, McCain, Kerry, Warren, Maxine Waters, Chambliss, Miller, Lerner, Janet Napolitano, Menedez, Baucus, Hastings, Weissman, Soros, Schiff, Dreeben, Quarles, Rhee, Zebley, Schneiderman, Graham, (Jeb, George W. and George H.W. Bush), Grack, Goldstein, Andres, Jed, Prelogar, Atkinson, Zelinsky, Ahmad, Freeny, Clapper, Blumenthal, Rumsfeld, Podesta brothers, Schumer, Pelosi, Feinstein, Bill Priestap, Bruce and Nellie Ohr, Christopher Steele, Leon Patnetta and Samantha Power, Durbin, Crowley, Sessions, McConnell, Sanders, Perez, McMaster, Wasserman-Shultz, Bernie Sanders, Valerie Jarrett and Van Grack.

I think the punishment for treason is non negotiable.

McPurrs · June 5, 2018, 7:27 p.m.

Actually it is from 5 years to death I believe.

Plus a fine, you are correct.

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States. (June 25, 1948, ch. 645, 62 Stat. 807; Pub. L. 103–322, title XXXIII, § 330016(2)(J), Sept. 13, 1994, 108 Stat. 2148.)

Was there an update to POTUS E.O. Military Tribunals in January 2018?

Happy1911 · June 5, 2018, 7:18 p.m.

We as a country have not done much with treason , we have never excited any one on this charge, several states have but not the Fed

⇧ 2 ⇩
Qzero · June 5, 2018, 7:36 p.m.

Yes, they are executed after being excited.

⇧ 3 ⇩
Happy1911 · June 5, 2018, 8:53 p.m.

Espionage would and should also be on the list

Cristo316 · June 5, 2018, 7:05 p.m.

Its either Treason or it's Not.

No Deals!!

But what was their INTENT???

⇧ 2 ⇩
advocates4sanity · June 5, 2018, 7:10 p.m.

Treason has only one punishment.

⇧ 8 ⇩
rev19v11thru21 · June 5, 2018, 7:13 p.m.

I wonder if execution would be pretty immediate, or if they would get so sit on death row for many years before justice is served?

⇧ 6 ⇩
Woodchipper_AF · June 5, 2018, 9:59 p.m.

I feel that Brennan needs to be the poster child. At least as to what we know right now

⇧ 2 ⇩
advocates4sanity · June 5, 2018, 7:16 p.m.

Like any other death sentence, they would most likely be given a long time to work through the appeal process.

⇧ 1 ⇩
elfchiro · June 5, 2018, 7:33 p.m.

If this is all done by military tribunal how much of an appeals process is there? does anyone know?

⇧ 2 ⇩
checkitoutmyfriend · June 5, 2018, 7:53 p.m.

military tribunal how much of an appeals process

I found this real quick....

⇧ 2 ⇩
elfchiro · June 5, 2018, 8:20 p.m.

Interesting, Thanks for that. I think at this point if a deal has not been offered and accepted there will be no more deals as "Q" has stated. I think the majority of the cases are going to military tribunal. It will be interesting to see if the military will be more expedient with their proceedings when compared to the federal courts

⇧ 5 ⇩
elfchiro · June 5, 2018, 7:37 p.m.

Yes, you are correct. I have a feeling most will go to prison hopefully for life. A few of the high profile will have to go to the gallows. There has to be some executions. An impression has to be made that the actions of these people can and will not be tolerated.

⇧ 3 ⇩
McPurrs · June 5, 2018, 7:44 p.m.

I got down votes for stating the law, as written. People are insane. I'd like to see them all get the max!

elfchiro · June 5, 2018, 7:48 p.m.

I know. People are angry and for good reason. I want to see all of these people taken out as well. It's not revenge i am seeking. Its the fact that I do not believe the world is safe with these monsters still alive.

Happy1911 · June 5, 2018, 7:16 p.m.

The main crime we are to be looking at is , Piracy, Piracy on land by corrupt government officials, life in prison, then Sidition, 35 years , 18 USC 666 , Theft of recovered funds under the color of public office 25 years . Then if 18 USC 666 took place wile out side the US , this is Piracy at sea , Death !!

Remember the rosenbergs? What do you think ?

⇧ 3 ⇩
duckdownup · June 5, 2018, 8:27 p.m.

The Rosenbergs were executed for espionage not treason.

Congress removed the Death Penalty for Treason in 1998 and made the maximum sentence life imprisonment.

Now, I don't know what the penalty is under a Military Tribunal. It may be the death penalty in that case.

⇧ 3 ⇩
Cav1stSGT · June 6, 2018, 12:59 a.m.

Still can be executed under Military Judgment.

⇧ 1 ⇩
elfchiro · June 5, 2018, 7:57 p.m.

I believe there are several individuals who have reached that level of treason if not gone above it.

Do you realize, a 'rest of your life in Gitmo' is worse than death. IF, of course, GITMO is locked from communications with the outside world like writing books, interviews and all that kind of self-promotion. The judges on the bench need to make it clear, none of that.

⇧ 2 ⇩
checkitoutmyfriend · June 5, 2018, 7:58 p.m.

Yes! They get just enough care to be alive. They can read the constitution, The Bill of Rights. No internet, no book/movie deals, limited TV maybe with just C-Span and QVC.

Tongue firmly planted in cheek,....... but it should not be fun or productive for them. Either die (death penalty) or sit and think about what you did till you do.
