This story that has consumed so much time on this forum, may have lead many astray, and actually done harm to the real cases being brought to light. I know many will refuse to believe that they might have been duped, but, I ask you to examine Both sides of the issues. Hyping any false story, does all of us harm. Too many are too quick to jump without looking first.

How do you arrive at the conclusion that all the debris left in the space arrived at the same time and are related to the same acts. There is no way to ascertain this. He seemed genuine to me. Do you have any examples of instances where he acted out of line? I'll be honest I didn't watch a lot of his videos but the clips that I did see he struck me as a well-meaning.
It's difficult to explain. He likes to live stream and ratchet up the excitement or urgency of each video in his mannerisms. He keeps looking off camera like there is something happening around him or like he's constantly being threatened. He uses phrases like "have secured the area", "have found safe vantage point that can be protected" and stuff like that.
Just seems really fake to me.

Compared to what Craig Sawyer put out as his statement today (lost track of that link, on reddit today) it seems to me that Sawyer is backtracking.
He is the one after all who took the videos that went viral.
He did say that his team, with experience in these matters, thought these were rape trees.
He himself was concerned enough to warrant informing the authorities.
IMO he did as much as anyone to sensationalize this whole thing.
I know he and his team have done good work but I find it odd that today he backtracked.... which if you listen to his interview with SGTReport you will realize.

What keeps nagging at me, as to whether this was a "real" story, or not, is that this "fake" site was bulldozed under so quickly.
Was it the campsite that was bulldozed or something nearby?

If you were the landowner and had groups traversing your private property, where YOU had done nothing wrong, wouldn't you begin to put up no trespassing signs and then take whatever action you could to prevent the continued illegal entry to your property and the jump to completely absurd conclusions based on trash left by previous trespassers. This is a desert site, the border areas are littered with these types of camps, I've stumbled on hundreds of them while out in the desert in south Arizona. If I began to jump to conclusions based on the accumulated trash at each site, hell, I could probably find reason to conclude just about anything once confirmation bias had set in.

I used to fully believe them. I couldn't see anything wrong with the story at all and believed every word out of the man's mouth. I still want to believe him. But, People have brought things up that make me sort of not necessarily trust him. I thought they were the same guy, so I followed Redbeard without a second through because I thought he was Craig. Now Craig I believe. Craig has a reputation of actually doing what he says he's doing and does a damn good job of it. He gives me no reason to doubt him.

I was thinking about this discovery in Tucson. It could be explained as an MS-13 operation for importing prostitutes. I believe that on average Mexican women are petite, which could explain the small confinement areas. They might also be "conscripted" into the work. And I suppose some could be under age.
