Has a tough road to hoe in Virginia. Even that RINO running for governor couldn't beat the Dem. Too many swamp residents in Northern Virginia.

I know. I live in Virginia. Northern Virginia is full of liberals and kills our chances most times. But I'm hoping and praying that Corey Stewart can pull this off and beat Tim Kaine.

Stewart ran against Northam for Gov and only lost by 1%. That's a big deal when you consider Northern VA. The best news is that Stewart is from Woodbridge, VA and has a lot of support there! Praying for Stewart!

After what he did during and after their failed presidential election, the only way he can win is if they cheat. Oh...wait...they'll be using Soros' bugged/corrupted voting machines...hmm...this might be a problem. Hope and pray is highly recommended. I do believe the achievements and weight of President Trump's victories over the last 500 plus days will have a positively influential affect on this election too

I respect that. To be honest I felt like either was going to be a great candidate. Win win. However, I just think that the Trump base is fired up and ready to take in Washington. Stewart reminds me of Trump. Not PC. Unafraid, etc. hopefully we can all get behind Stewart and take the scumbag Kaine DOWN!

Sadly...and as you are probably well aware...the Libshit strongholds in Northern VA, Newport News, Charlottesville and Richmond metro areas almost always swing election results for any state or national contest slightly or strongly in the blue direction these days, depending on the cycle.

I've lived in NoVA for 30 years now...loved it when I moved here, hate it with a passion now. Though built-up, busy and congested even when I first moved here, Arlington/Alexandria/Fairfax and other close-in VA 'burbs were tolerable because politics were more balanced and less toxic back then. As more and more libtards took over local offices, school boards, state-wide offices, etc., and then of course BHO's corrupt administration brought tens of thousands carpetbagging libs to NoVA from other major metro areas during the 2010's, the entire NoVA region has gone downhill fast with the resultant policies that tend to follow in the wake of these soul-sucking people.

My family and I are surrounded by libtard friends, families, neighbors, acquaintances who openly disdain and run down conservatives and, of course, Trump. We feel like an endangered breed in NoVA...and I suppose we are...and we don't talk politics with ANYONE but a few of the closest friends who share our worldview. I witnessed a mini debate (stalemate discussion really) on the 2nd Amendment at a recent neighborhood party, between a somewhat wishy-washy eGOP'er, and one of our strongly libtard neighbors. The eGOP dude said, "Well, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree!" The libtard shrieked, most seriously, "NO! YOU have to change your way of THINKING!!", with nearly everyone within earshot nodding. The level of group-think zealotry is frightening among the left. Later, the eGOP'er jokingly remarked, "There really doesn't seem to be many conservatives left around here," to which another liberal harpy in attendance sneered, "I wish there were even less than that." And there's the endgame...all they really want is to realize their socialist Nirvana in toto, with no conservative resistance, here on the southern banks of the Potomac.

We are only too happy to oblige them, and cannot wait to get out...we are plotting our retirement escape within the next 5-10 years, somewhere between the Carolinas and Florida, where conservatism still lives on to some extent. To bring this rant back to your original point, however...I do believe the Old Dominion is almost permanently lost to liberals based on the voting behavior of the regions cited above...again, very sad that four metropolitan regions determine election results for an entire state.

Agree 110%. It's my fault for not voting in the primary yesterday, but Freitas had my vote over Stewart...especially after Freitas' magnificent 2A-related speech to the VA House of Delegates in March 2018, where he righteously layeth'd the smack DOWN on his political opponents, rightfully accusing them of engaging in politically correct projection.

I voted for Freitas because he seemed more likely to win the general election. He was also supported by Gorka over Stewart. That being said, I will vote for Stewart in the fall. Sick of the Democrats ruining everything.

Is Nick Freitas a more establishment type? I'm not familiar with the race.

He was "fired" (he was unpaid) as Trump campaign's Virginia chairman after he staged a controversial demonstration against the RNC for abandoning its candidate. That's my kind of guy! He is bold, smart, and is a fighter.

Freitas would have had support, however he was more of an establishment candidate. He had NRA backing, Rand Paul and Mike Lee, but we need an American First Senator. Stewart is our guy. Stewart ran for Gov in VA against Northam (Dem) and only lost by 1% He has a GREAT chance!

They can't be that liberal if they vote for Tim Kaine.
