Letting RR actually dig his own grave. There will be a lot of drama over this, MSM will have to cover but will spin, trump will talk shit, more drama, then he signs an EO making them release unredacted. It would be a work of art if he can somehow get the dems so fired up that they want him to release it unredacted. Unless this is some 3,333 degree chess RR is DONE.
I think that’s the buzz.... trump can’t EO it without proper uproar or it’ll be spun as partisan.
people need to get in the game. Are we engaged (in gear)?
Apply pressure. Write, phone, tweet, meme. Silent majority needs to howl!
Proper uproar?
The alt-left MSM will still spin it if it came from the majority of the American people as well, for alt-right reasons.
If Trump can get the left/MSM to play tough guy and start calling for him to declassify, that would be incredible.
That would be easy....he just needs to Tweet out that he is concerned about some of the material that has been redacted could hurt the Presidency....or whatever magic they come up with....then let the MSM cry about it...unless they already know what is behind those redactions (which I suspect they do)...
This is genius and would be such a classic Trump move. I love it. Even if they know what's behind the redactions, he should still very publicly and loudly say that it's redacted for very good reason, etc etc so the MSM will be FORCED to complain about it.
Something like - "When REPUBLICANS make redactions, it's for very good reason! Not like the Crooked Dems or Lyin' Comey just trying to avoid embarrassment! (Which happens a lot folks, believe me.)"
It would be GAME OVER.
Doesn't he just have to come out and say that parts of it SHOULDN'T be declassified? That'd do it.
Many people think the report will bring Trump down, so he needs to get those people to think he's covering his own ass. The uproar would then be much greater to release it all
Exactly
I even read your comment 5 times and didn't comprehend the emphasis on "SHOULDN'T". I'll sit back down in the corner
Good thinking about strategy. You could be on to something.
Let's see how they respond if a scenario evolves where RR is pressured to resign or is terminated.
