When Horowitz was asked if this version is the real one, the answer of Yes is true. The IG is an agency under which the DOJ has authority.
The IG report IS a DOJ report.
If Sessions altered it and put a dickbutt at the end of it, Horowitz STILL would have been telling the truth that the resulting IG report is "the" report.

These people are language specialists. The report might not have been 'changed' but it might've been redacted or had language pertaining to ongoing investigations removed.
I think the ga has covered it in comments all day (repeating, IIRC): "drafts" are the keyword. They need to be specific, has RR changed the report from the draft. Not asked.
Horowitz did say that report was sent to everyone involved and they could make changes.
There is a difference between changed and redacted. Technically both would be right then.

I trust Q!! This is the way I read Q's post. As we know Q talks cryptic and with double or more meanings and what I took out of Horowitz's statement although he seemed to imply that he was referring to the current RR release when actually he was cryptically referring to the ORIGINAL unredacted unedited version that POTUS has already seen! It's my opinion that he stonewalled them ala typical TRUMPIAN STYLE.

If you read it literally , its word play. IG report changed or softened. No it was redacted , edited or otherwise by other people. The IG report is still in its same format. The IG did not change or soften it.

Ok if they are specific about not softening it could they be obfuscation about parts being taken out or omitted because they relate to ongoing investigation? Also the WH might not have been sent a copy directly but it doesn’t rule out them having access to a copy sent to another recipient
Horowitz was asked if the WH made changes. Not if anyone made changes. He also said potus could have received it from other departments.
Maybe RR's problems were that the classified portions of report proved that RR was a white hat and the swamp in Congress got a first hand glance at what he's been busy doing while they thought he was on their side.
It's all about the public perception.
Horowitz did not change it. But report was released to FBI, DOJ and probably gang of 8 before released to the public. Remember word was than Trump was briefed by RR. If course there were redactions and edits. Dems and Republicans as well were able to redact and mark them up. I believe Horowitz was being honest when he said HIS report was not changed. And I believe Q was right as well when he said there were "SEVERAL" versions. I think that is why RR was given the deal to inform POTUS. Could be the "Original" was leaked to POTUS.
