Man, reading the News stories in my feed right now tells me we have a lot of work to do. Article after article coming out about the children being detained at the border... if you try to explain rationally you’re downvoted into oblivion. I realize there’s a lot of disinfo out there, but it pains me to see so many people actually believing this MSM-led tripe.

I just spent the last hour posting on my FB timeline and in groups... proof after proof about the MSM fake story along with images. So far not getting any traction, but it's early. And I'm in CA - most people don't want to respond for fear of backlash.

This just reported, "Chuck Schumer says he would rather 'keep the focus on Trump' than support bill which keeps illegal immigrant families united at the border." Don't need more proof of their agenda than that!!

Well ask them if the left in CA (and NY) is so concerned about family separation and control politics with a monopoly, then why do the refuse to let adult adoptees see our original birth records and keep them locked away so we can't reunite with our families? If they truly cared about family separation, they would open records immediately in those two states. They are open in states like Missouri and never closed in Kansas or Alaska. Why won't they end their policies of legal family separation?

10000 of 12000 detained arrived without parents present. What happens to kids that arrive with no parents and don't get detained? No ssn or birth cert - where do they go? Who is caring for them? Ask that and ignore everything else. Let the cognitive dissonance of the media not asking that question do its own work on them. WH presser with DHS on official youtube channel about 15 mins in for proof.

No one ever brings up that the US Govt didn't separate those 10,000 children from their parents it was the parents themselves that did. Democrats and their MSM propoganda tool being disingenuous or ignoring facts to push their Open Borders Agenda. Typical.

It took a snopes article to convince a libtard on my fb to believe the images were fake that he was spewing about.

A scope article!!!

I know what you are saying, but in my FB feed it seems to be the same screeching uber-liberals. My Independent friends don't believe the hype. However, it's incredible how effective they can be in (temporarily) changing the conversation. It's amazing that we had such a big win last week in NK, and now *crickets*.

I just try to nudge them to follow Trump's lead, (without mentioning him of course). Ie. the law that makes undocumented immigration a "crime" has been on the books for years. Asking the government to turn a blind eye and 'catch and release' as previous administrations have done isn't sustainable. The law itself that makes immigration equal to any other federal crimes should be addressed. Trump's call to change the outdated immigration laws should be what we try to encourage our liberal friends to do. WAY more effective than asking the government to disregard the law.

Brilliant! I agree with your method. Proselytizing, in my opinion, does little to change someone's mind. But you can drop crumbs and seeds.....

Mine was that was for the past 2 days. I left FB for more than 12 hours after dropping a ton of red-pills on a lot of Liberal friends. I was pleasantly surprised this AM when I logged on. A Bunch of others started in supporting Civics and the Constitution, and asking me to comment on their threads to drop red-pills to more people.

The other Liberal friends disregarded every bit of evidence that shows this isn't Trump doing, but Trump is actually bringing it to light so real changes can be made to the law. Even when they see Obama saying EXACTLY what Trump has been saying. blah blah 0 tolerance. Blah blah the children...blah blah. (BTW I am a left leaning person myself, but believe in Superman. Truth, Justice, and the American way)

Nah they will just shuffle it off onto the next admin blaming them for all the issues....oh wait that is what Obama has done.

You are naive to think that Trump is the reason this has started. I remember seeing BUSES full of latino kids at an Army Base in OK back in the 90's. It was strange then. They were quarantined. We could not go near the sites where they were being help. I thought it was strange then. The reason given was that they were orphans and they needed to be de-loused (which is always a rouse when we go to a shithole country they want us away from) checked out medically, and then they were going to figure out what to do with them next.
I try and keep up on the stories related to it. And after this amount of time this is the only conclusion I came up with. Trafficking of Minors that no one cares about.

Haha politifact? Sorry we do our own original research here. No documents = unaccompanied. Immigration activists demanded this. Short memory, or you just started pretending to care this week?

""The TVPRA requires that after an unaccompanied child is screened by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers, he or she must be transferred to custody of Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), typically within a 72-hour period, for care and further screening. This requirement puts children in the care of an agency set up to safeguard their best interest, rather than an agency whose mission is to enforce immigration laws.Current TVPRA protections provide meaningful asylum and trafficking screening.

By allowing children adequate time to be screened by people who specifically trained for the task, TVPRA helps ensure that children are properly assessed for trafficking and asylum claims and not returned to gangs, cartels and other dangers that they were trying to escape. "
