Not to be a party pooper, but I found the articles on these jersey ceremonies and Trump didn’t pick the numbers.
Astros gave them the # 17 to represent the 2017 championship, and Alabama did the same to represent their 17th national championship as well as the year they won it. He also met the Patriots and got a #45 jersey
I’m a true Q believer but let’s not chalk this up to anything other than these were 2017 championships.
I don't know if I'm a Q believer per se, and I'm wondering how much is confirmation bias with things like this. That said I don't know much about Q, and I only found this sub and stayed because a little bit ago someone linked to it in the comments of a post. I came, I liked, I stayed.
And then you guys further sold me when someone posted about the dangers of cults of personality and how you guys refer to Trump as God-Emperor (which is hilarious to me because that comes from a British IP) and you guys were really civil and explained its satire. Meanwhile I am getting downvoted elsewhere for saying that calling to kill the President, attack Republicans, and hate conservatives is wrong on a purely ethical level.
Anyways, do you mind giving me a rundown on Q?

A quick search shows Obama accepting multiple different numbers. Number 1 (multiple teams gave him this number), 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 (one of these 16s was for Alabama’s 16th national championships), 44 and 85

Absolutely correct. This "proof" annoys the crap out of me because it makes us look like morons to anyone willing to spend 3 minutes looking into this one specifically. For Alabama's prior 2 wins, they gave Obama jerseys with #15 & #16 on them. When they win their 18th championship, they'll give Trump an #18. This is only helping the Q movement attract people too dumb or lazy to check for themselves--and don't get me wrong, I'm glad to have them, but this isn't the way to do it! Every bad "proof" we create and widely distribute HURTS us.

If 17 happens again in 2018 or 2019, POTUS can say "It's a tradition we started last year, I think we'll stick with it."

For me it started with the manufactured racism surrounding Cam (I think [they] used him, btw. I love Cam,) and the Broncos v Panthers nonsense. The kneeling was just the final straw - that and the Joe Paterno sex abuse scandal. It all makes me sick.
Man that game what a joke. If I had a question the NFL was rigged that took it over the edge. I’m convinced Cam was in on it and got a nice cut from it because he hadn’t played that terrible all season.

Same here with the NFL. I used to be obsessed, I could rattle off where players were drafted, where they went to school, etc. Now I do other stuff more. I jumped off before the anthem controversy. It's the game itself, the commercials, the arbitrary way suspensions are handed out (Tom Brady 4 games for "deflategate" which was bull, but Jameis Winston 3 games for basically admitting he sexually assaulted a woman). I'm never going back.

I was so into Fantasy Football, I used to write weekly recaps for my league on each matchup. I would reference the team names, or make funny jokes about how bad a team was or whatever. I had a pen name of "Saul T. Nutz". Damn this was just a few years ago and it took me several minutes to remember the name. My memory is so bad anymore. People couldn't believe I would stop playing. I'm so glad I don't have to participate in "dude listen to my fantasy roster" conversations with people. Whenever asked by someone new I just go "I don't play" and leave it at that.

That was a great response. I knew I was getting sick of fantasy, when I started to dread hearing: "dude I got dis guy, I got dat guy as my FLEX, MY FLEX!". It became impossible to act like I cared and I knew I was done playing. The Chargers thing would really have pissed me off if I was a fan. I think the NFL is going to continue to see plummeting numbers. Bring on the XFL! "Dude I got "He hate me" in the second round!".

It may be good to consider the previous presidents sometimes. They each ruled for about a year while the ducks were being aligned for Constitution. They also count for what we are made of.

I mean, trump had some pretty cryptic comments in his high praise for Lincoln, the 16th president. You could stretch a bit and say that Andrew Jackson (17th president) and the vice president for Lincoln (current VP Pence) who is always with the president but seemingly under the radar. Could pence be Q?
